Ordered a donair and my partner a donair poutine. Honestly it was probably the saddest donair I ve ever had. Very little meat, it was cold, and the fries were ok. For the donair poutine, there was almost no meat, there were big chunks of gelatinous gravy, and so many onions, my partner had a literal mound of them that took up 1/2 the skillet. Just very disappointed in what we ordered.

Wish there were more gluten free options,our server Jesse S was awesome,bubbly,fun,engaging and on point.Stefano the bar tender another fave,Jessie is r fave and we are always happy to be seated in her section By far the best server there.

Shae was amazing, she brought so much energy to the table and her service was fantastic! Would come again JUST based on her service alone

We enjoyed our first meal at B&G today. My husband enjoyed the large Donair, and I had the clam strips with a side of seafood chowder. Portion sizes were good and aligned with the prices. Service was great, wouldve given five stars if we were asked if we wanted refills on our drinks. Otherwise, 5 stars all around.

We came for dinner on Tuesday November 26. Had the server Violet. We just moved to the area & decided to try Blowers & grafton. Not a very pleasant experience. I ordered the streak sandwich w/chips, made blue rare. The waitress came after I ordered & explained they don t know how to cook blue rare. My boyfriend ordered a chicken wrap with fries. The streak sandwich was terrible. The streak was the thinnest, toughest steak I ve ever had. The steak, chips & greens, were all covered in butter. The butter wasn t even melted. Had to use the napkins to try & get it off the plate. The bun it came with was so soaked in just butter it was discussing. Didn t finish, or took it home. The chicken wrap was good. The waitress took my boyfriend s plate before he even finished his fries lol. Wasn t a very nice waitress. Definitely don t recommend.

Had brunch here on a sunday with a friend. Honestly food is okay but not great. Both me and my friend had the lobster benny here its soso not worth the $25, the homemade biscuit used for the benny was dry and the lobster meat was measly. Went there recently with some friends. With all the hype of it being the place to get a Halifax donair I was expecting a lot. I ordered the regular donair (+$3 for mozzarella) and fries. Ended up being around $22. The donair was smaller than expected. The pita was fresh and soft and the tomatoes and onions fresh. The meat was thinly shaved but nothing special. The sauce was pretty sweet, even for NS style. The cheese was on the bottom, unmelted and cold. Overall pretty meh. The fries were trash. The spicy chicken potato nachos were pretty decent (If mild) though.

Me and my friend came on a busy Friday night. Staff were all dressed up for Halloween and the atmosphere was awesome. Had the garlic fingers (amazing) and the fish tacos (incredible.) shoutout to Brittany for the great service!

We were at the Sherwood park location on a busy Saturday and had the absolute BEST service from Shae, and the manager also stopped by our table several times to make sure everything was good. We were visiting with old friends so were there for 2.5 hours. We were never pressured to leave, felt so welcome and the food was fantastic. They even let us sample their green tea cocktail which was dangerously good. We will definitely be back.

It was our first time there! OMG! Everything was amazing! Food was delicious, atmosphere was perfect and our waitress was a rock star! Shae took very good care of us! We will be back and we will recommend to others! My husband has scallops and chips, I had shrimp and chips. Our friends had Philly cheese sandwich and shrimp and chips! Everything was delicious!

We had reservations for 4 of us tonight. First time for all of 4 of us.. atmosphere was very nice. The place was buzy. Service was okay. She was having a hard time remembering what we ordered, so she had to come back and check what we ordered for appetizers and main meals. If you cant remember, you should write it down. My diet pop and my husband club soda were very flat. I ended up ordering ice tea as I couldnt drink, just syrup. I did mention it to the server, and she said there was nothing wrong with the soda machine. We ordered fish cakes and mussels. Mussels were good. I wish it had more seasoning in the sauce. There was a chunk of bread that was very hard to share. I would suggest maybe cutting it into smaller pieces so everyone could have a piece. Not just one chunk. Fish cakes were good. I ordered shrimp and chips. Shrimp had a good batter, but I wish shrimp were bigger. They were a lot smaller than expected. It was still tasty. Coleslaw was delicious but warm. It needed to be colder. Lobster Mac and cheese were good. We will come back for sure to try a few other things.. Kid-friendliness: Till 9 pm, kids are welcome. Didnt see kids menu maybe its separate from main menu

Food was alright but I didnt realize for 26.00 fish and chips they have a shortage of potatoes. Not what I was expecting, I like the food but wont order this again

Ordered the smash burger and it was probably the best burger I have had in a long time! Service was spectacular and both our server & the manager had a great sense of humor! Will definitely be back!

Kyler is the bartender you didn t know you needed until you ve had a drink (or two, or three) made by him. Not only does he make a mean Old Fashioned, but he ll also throw in a free side of stand-up comedy with every pour. I came for a drink and left with sore cheeks from laughing so hard. Kyler has this superpower where he somehow remembers everyone s usual by their second visit, like he s secretly a cocktail-loving mind reader. But don t try to stump him with obscure drink requests he ll give you a deadpan look, and in perfect timing, say something like, Sure, right after I finish my PhD in advanced cocktail wizardry. Five stars for both drinks and entertainment, and one extra for the Kyler Special that mysterious cocktail he whipped up on a whim that tasted suspiciously like vacation. Keep up the great work Kyler!

I came into Blowers and Grafton with a heavy heart and a cold shoulder. I was immediatly greeted by one of the most outgoing personalities and genuine smiles I have ever seen. I believe he was around 56 and his name was Nolan, but besides the fact it was a great burst of life for me walking into the resturant. I sat down at the bar for a beer and was IMMEDIATELY greeted and given recommendations from the 63 tall, handsome bartender whos name i recieved as Kyler but it may have been tyler, I am hard of hearing. Anyway, my experience at Blowers and Grafton really helped my mood and made my day alot better. 100% reccommend.

I sat at the bar sunday evening to watch some football and immediatly saw a bartender with an outdated Hopkins NFL jersey and I gave him a hard time ahaha. It made the environment very comfortable and having someone to talk football made it fun. I believe that his name was Kyler and i will be returning!

The lobster Benny was fantastic. The hollandaise was super flavourful and had a nice kick. The lobster meat was cooked to perfection. I really liked the biscuit they had for the base. The potatoes that came with it were also super good, perfectly cooked. Would definitely come back.

Feels like the food has gone down in quality. Last time I went there, I ordered the classic poutine. The fries were overcooked and tasted like they may have been old. They cheaped out on the gravy, leaving the cheese curds cold and the fries dry. It s a real shame I used to love this place.

Called ahead for a reservation on Lobster Boil night. They lost my reservation and sent us away.. Fortunately a different restaurant that night had an even better meal. Normally their food is good. UPDATE: They made it right! Their server, Morgan, is a gem! Thanks.

You need to turn the music down about 5 notches. Hard to even talk to people at the table unless you roar. The food is much better at your Jasper Ave location not to mention the service. Our service was terrible this evening. All we needed was drinks at our table and perhaps a quick walk by to see if we needed anything else. We will not be rushing back to eat here and we are from the east coast!!

We enjoyed the lobster boil ! Our server ALEXIA was incredible,so attentive and personable. I would go again just for the service. The lobster itself was a bit rubbery and the biscuits were on the dry/burnt side but it s forgivable with the sheer volume of the people they were serving. The lobster claw meat was succulent and the corn and potatoes were to die for. I ve had the lobster rolls on other occasions and the meat is always tender. Definitely on our go to list of restaurants

Wow! Just wow! This place is AMAZING our server Cindy was absolutely fantabulous. She recommended the lobster rolls and OH MY GOODNESS they were heaven in my mouth. We came over the weekend and I can t stop thinking about them. I can t wait to return!!

The drinks here are great and they have great deals! Unfortunately the menu is very limited for those with gluten and dairy allergies, but my waitress Violet did everything she could to ensure my order was correct and safe to have. Just not many dairy free options on either menu.

We went here because it was good at taste of Edmonton, the lobster rolls were loaded with lobster! I had the fish tacos and my husband had lobster rolls. The food took so long to come out, the tacos had a decent piece of fish on each but it had no flavour, the coleslaw had a weird flavour with the celery and green onions, the lobster rolls had about a tablespoon of lobster in each one and cost 30$!! They were loaded with coleslaw and a spoonful of lobster to top it off. The price on the menu is market price but that is insane for the minimal amount we got.

Been here a couple times, tried different items each time and the service has always been excellent. Gives off a pub vibe with plenty of seafood options. They also have live music from time to time. It can be loud in the evenings so you will have to speak up. Worth trying at least once.

The service was below par. The server never offered drink refills. The seats are super uncomfortable, we had to swat away wasps when we were eating inside. The server asked if we wanted to split the bill (we had made a reservation for our 11th anniversary) the server was completely oblivious.....she spent most her time adjusting her skirt. The meals were nice but super small. The desert looked like a child threw it on a plate. Very disappointed.

The atmosphere and look of the restaurant was amazing! Theres always good music playing and it feels fun. I got the spicy chicken sandwhich and it was amazing, one of the best chicken sandwiches Ive ever had! Our food did take a while but it was clearly busy so i didnt mind because it was totally worth the wait. Well, I used to like this place. The OG Donair is the best. However, it has changed. It tastes like fast food now and the drinks and food do not look like what is shown in photos. But if you send anything back, they get spiteful drinks or food. When you get the food or drink back, it s undrinkable or inedible. The bartender is spiteful and should be relieved of his/her duties. The quality of the food has dropped. I wish I could load photos Save your money or go elsewhere.

Wow....Great food and Service

Disappointed as I just returned from visiting friends in Pictou County and was looking forward to experiencing some NS fare in Alberta. I ordered the fish tacos and donair quesadilla. The tacos came on a taco holder that holds three; I got two. Both had a piece of fish about 2 inches long and 1/2wide. Lots of cabbage/lettuce and water dripped out of the taco when I picked it up. Brought the quesadilla home. Opened up the box and was the size of a dessert plate...with room to spare. All of this for $56.00 (including tip and a soft drink). Will spend the going out budget elsewhere.

I often return to restaurants who get to know their customers and I ve had such great service experiences every time I ve been to Blowers. I m not sure how it happens but I seem to always end up with Shae as my server and she s really great at remembering me and even knowing my beer choice without asking. It s always been a great dining experience.

Everything Ive ever ordered their has been AMAZING. The waitresses are amazing. When hubby and I sit at the bar, the bartenders are amazing. Im originally from Halifax and their fishermans feast its unreal

B&G is my favourite place to go! The staff (especially Aidan) is amazing. By far the best place to go if you want to drink with your friends.

Our family has been big fans of B&G since we first visited the Whyte Ave location years back. We were so happy to see a location in the Park pop up and they never disappoint. Every time we visit the Sherwood location they do absolutely everything to make sure we have a great experience. The food and service is always top notch. Best fish & chips around and the rest of the great Halifax grub always makes ordering a difficult decision. Kid-friendliness: Weve taken our 3 yr old son many times. He loves the food and the servers are always great with kids.

I went to Blowers and Grafton in Sherwood Park recently and the server we had (Jessie) was awesome! She was very friendly and super knowledgeable, and the food was really good too. I would recommend this place to anyone.

My girlfriend and myself were in Edmonton/Sherwood Park from Saskatoon for the weekend and decided to stop in on Saturday evening. What a great decision. First off our main server Madison (Maddy) was top notch and very personable along with the other staff we were treated awesome. We started with the Mussel bucket which was amazing. I had the fish and chips and my girlfriend had the fish tacos. Both of us were stuffed when we left. We completely enjoyed our experience and will definitely return when we visit again. So what do Haligonians scarf down when theyre out on the prowl? Im still unsure, although it seems like it must be stuffed with donair meat. Precisely what was I expecting? Not donair meat (which Im still sure is boiled llama). Something... Maritimey, even if its pretend fool-the-tourist Maritimey. Perhaps the lobster Benny; however, on inquiry I found out that the hollandaise wasnt scratch built. Note to everyone: always ask, and if the answer is no then you say no as well. I ended up with the hash bowl, which does have hollandaise but also sausage and hot sauce - it isnt required to stand in its own. My companion had a breakfast llama, I mean donair, which was odd enough to feel like street food from somewhere, just not Halifax. The drinks were adequate, as was the service. The atmosphere was making a nautical attempt, but it didnt add or subtract from the experience. Ill try again, but the first go-around was a solid meh.

Came here with a large party and the way it was handled was incredible. Our meals all came out perfect and all at the same time. For a group of 30, I m very impressed! Food was amazing and service was even better. Madison took very good care of us and I highly recommend being served by her.

Excellent fish & chips and you gotta try the Irish cheesecake! Lexi took good care of us. If you keep playing music this good, you need to add a dance floor!

Always enjoy the food here. Staff is always 110% friendly and accommodating. I had Lexi as a server this most recent visit, she was incredible. Love the atmosphere at this location, and karaoke nights are fun but not too crowded.

We stumbled upon this place in our search for dinner reservations when visiting the Edmonton area. We are Nova Scotians living in Alberta so we were very excited to try it out. It was like sitting in a pub on the Halifax waterfront. Friendly, fast service and an upbeat atmosphere. The mini lobster rolls and fried pepperoni were delicious!!

I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was for the reasonable price point. the waitress was diligent about checking on us but did forget to bring my water, and my grandmothers second drink. the food was very quick, and full of flavor, and the volume of the place wasent soo loud that we couldent have a conversation. we did find it very chilly in the middle of summer, and I was cold sitting in shorts, so keep that in mind. but definitely worth checking this place out.

First time and wasnt disappointed at all. Great food and the patio was a great touch to a long hot day. Highly recommend

I want to thank our server, Jade. She took great care of us, had helpful suggestions about the food and made our visit to B&G more fun. I had the lobster rolls which were excellent and a raspberry mojito (made with lots of mint, just the way I like it). Im docking one point from the atmosphere because the first table we were seated at had an A/C vent blowing down on us; we were so cold we switched tables. Jade was very gracious about us switching tables without telling her.

Loud atmosphere food was good a bit pricey in my opinion.

Food was great!! We were taken care of the moment we stepped into the place. Our waitress Cindy was so attentive and cheerful! The atmosphere was slightly overwhelming with all the noise. But overall... I would totally recommend!!

Its a nice place but the food really needs some work its like they use low quality beef and chicken very tough and rubbery

Came to have dinner with the in-laws and some family friends and Brittany was our server. She was very attentive and just lovely! Thanks for helping us have a great dinner and happy get together. Definitely would recommend. Kid-friendliness: There were some children in the establishment but because it s a pub the din of conversation overpowered any crying. The music wasn t too loud either which was nice!

Had a lovely experience at this location, specifically the service from Hailey. She recommended the mussels and I wasnt sure because I am picky about my mussels but she assured me they were amazing. She was SO right! Some of the best ones Ive tried in Edmonton area, will be pack for the mussels and the amazing service. Thanks again Hailey.

We have been to your location lots and usually stick with the lobster rolls and seafood chowder. This time, our server Hailey recommended the fish and chips. It isn t something we would normally order but we decided to give it a try. I m glad we did .it was amazing!! Highly recommend giving it a try! Now that we have tried something new, we will be back again soon to try other menu items well done!

If I could leave no stars I would. Our server greeted us as the one taking care of us for the night we ordered drinks, someone else delivered them to us and Jade the server just bailed. 30 min later a new server came around and introduced herself saying she would be taking over for Jade but we at that point just asked for the bill, after 10 minutes we calculated what our drinks would cost left cash on the table and left. Weak just weak.

The service that I got from my waiter Hailey S was incredible, she was a very nice person and she made sure to check up on us often enough. I have been there for the Maritime Mondays and they are incredible, the food during this night is some of the best I have on Monday nights

Just went to Blowers & Grafton for the trivia night and some food. The service from Hailey S was great. The food there awesome. The place was really busy but we still got out food and drinks quick.

What a great place to relax with friends!

We arrived at 8;30 pm during what can only be described as a bad bingo caller of a quiz night . It was loud and definitely not what I expected by the type of menu and prices . The waitress was off hand and didn t care . The food was ok at the best , but the atmosphere got even worse by a sewage spouting man being seated by us . Not the best and will not be wasting our money her again

Maddie was my server tonight and delivered great service all night. It was very busy with the oilers game and she managed to get us all of our stuff speedy and efficiently.

For some reason all bar and pub owners are either deaf or hate small talk so they feel the need to pump terrible music until your ears bleed. Whatever happened to be able to hold a conversation while you eat?

Went there for the game on Saturday night sat at the bar, bartender we had was phenomenal always checking in which was appreciated. Food came fast and was delicious. Drinks, cocktails were on point too. Great experience all around, thanks. Will be returning .

Absolutely love it. The staff is always friendly and smiling. The food is delicious. Its a noisy atmosphere but lots of fun especially when theyre is a hockey game on....lots of TVs so you can always see the action.
