We had the pozole and a burrito and both were absolutely filled with distinct flavours. Well worth the price. We felt like we had take-out directly from Mexico. ¡Muy rica!
I had a quesadilla that was very filling. One of the better, Mexican restaurants in Simcoe.
We ordered the chicken nachos and the chicken burrito. We brought it home as we live a couple of blocks away. Once we found the very few pieces of chicken that existed in each dish, it was dry, chewy and tasteless. It seemed like it had been sitting there all week. The nachos were bland and had zero flavour. The burrito was very large but it was all rice. It was very bland with minimal chicken. We spent almost $40.00 and it all went in the garbage! For Mexican food it was bland and was missing the protein! Very disappointed!!!!!!
We ate at the Simcoe location in the mall on a Friday and it was quite busy, our order took a while but it was worth the wait and the staff was so apologetic, they wanted to give our money back but we refused as it didn’t take that long, just a bit longer than the 15 minutes they said. The food is amazing and we will be back
Just tried so mexican in the Simcoe town centre but couldn't find a Google business for that. I ordered the flautas (as seen in the photo). Fresh food, large portions, and very delicious! Will definitely return.

Kept hearing about, and seeing a few posts on facebook about a mexican place at the Oakland store. Being from southern California, I was raised on mexican food and can always appreciate a good taco 🌮. Happened to be driving by here today and figured I'd try em out. Had the three taco deal, they were well dressed, and had a generous amount of meat in em. I tried the spicy chicken, steak, and beef and potato. All were very tasty! 😋 The lady working here was super nice, and willing to tweak dishes for customers, even giving great suggestions on doing so. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu.
Had the burrito bowl with spicy chicken. It was awesome! Lots of flavour and ended up getting lunch and dinner out of it. Looking forward to going back soon. Staff is super friendly as well

Ordered their Spicy Chicken Tacos from their Simcoe location in the mall. One of the best tacos Ive tasted. They made it fresh on the spot but I ate it at home after a 1hr drive and it was still just as tasty!
Wow the servings are huge. So tasty. Lots of cheese! I had a burrito and it s the best one I ve had. Totally recommend this place. Super clean and nice people serving you.
I can t say enough good about this little hidden Gem at the Simcoe town Center. The food is always amazing and the portions are huge. I have never been disappointed and have tried almost everything on their menu. I can honestly say I have an addiction. Vera and her family are so friendly and treat you like a friend every time. You have to eat here!!
The food was good
I ate at so Mexican eatery today for the first time. I got the spicy chicken burrito, and I have to say that it was the biggest burrito Ive ever seen. It was the size of a football. It was really tasty, but mostly rice. Come on down and feed a family of 4 for 14 bucks. I will definitely try some other dishes there
Popped in for lunch and what a surprise! Authentic Mexican cuisine with huge portions and fresh flavours. Excellent value as well. The lady running the counter was super friendly. I will definitely return to try out more of the menu!
Very nice server. Atmosphere - in a gas station convenience store. Two tables. Unfortunately the food is just OK. They use store bought rotisserie chicken so flavour was lacking. No guacamole no cilantro no avocado - was supposed to be in the burrito bowl. No cilantro in the burrito either. As well, they were out of a few items (steak, churro). Was disappointed as the reviews were good...Will not be returning unless they make some major changes.

Stopped to get gas and noticed a sign that said Oakland Sub it was around lunch time so I thought I would try it..One upside of traveling for my job is finding all these hidden gems!!..I was so happily surprised when I saw it was not a sub shop inside but a Mexican food counter..Amazing service and quality food at a fair price This will beat any burrito chain restaurant anyday! you need to try this place if you are a fan of Mexican food..it s worth the drive

I finally was able to make it this Saturday before they sold out for the day. We had tacos and a burrito bowl and it was soo good . Portions are awesome and truly worth the drive. Just make sure you go for lunch or they maybe sold out which is a good thing, everything is fresh daily. Service was exceptional! We just found our new regular Mexican spot!!!!!

Stumbled on this little gem while driving in the area with the hubby. Did not expect to find such great food inside a convenience store/gas bar! They have a couple tables to sit and eat inside, although youre surrounded by shelves of beer and alcohol. The quality of the food easily more than makes up for the location.

We have been eating here all summer. We have had the nachos, quesadillas, tacos, the burito bowl and so much more. It s all amazing and you can add or subtract what you want. Not only is the food amazing the employees are great people. All in all you gotta try it. Muy rico. Gracias soooo Mexican.

A friend recommended we eat here. We had the burrito bowl. I unfortunately didnt take a picture but it tasted as good as it looked. Ill definitely be a repeat customer and will update my review with pictures. If you like Mexican food. I highly recommend.
Absolutely fantastic. Will be. Supporting this business often and hoping this means they can relocate somewhere that would provide them better hours is honestly my only complaint. Cant wait to continue trying their menu have not been disappointed yet.

I was scrolling Facebook and saw a recommendation for So Mexican Eatery. My wife and I took a 30 minute drive to Oakland ON and werent sure if we were in the right place as the Esso station that theyre located in has no signage on the outside. I ordered a steak burrito and my wife had 3 tacos (2 beef, 1 chicken). I couldnt believe the size of the burrito. Im a big guy with a big appetite and I had to force myself to finish half of it. The ladies behind the counter were extremely friendly and accommodating. Well definitely be back! The churros are phenomenal as well.
