Always a great place to grab a snack.

The food was exactly as I expected. I felt better having a rice bowl over a cheese burger and fries. The cookies looked too good to leave behind.

Went in for a pita tonight. Ive never felt so unwelcome at any business before. Also, they gave me a small pita instead of a large for like the fourth time. Never again.

The first time I visited, the girl working there made an excellent pita however the second time I visited the lady (I think she might be the owner) put the bare min amount of ingredients. I request her to put a bit extra and she seemed to be hesitant and told me it was only 1 scoop they put for each ingredient. Im a regular pita pit visitor across locations but really appreciate that first employee who was generous in filling the pita up and not just using the bare minimum (I ordered the large size). Will probably go back but really hope to ancounter the first employee or someone like her.

Very delicious food

Boy this place has gone downhill. There is no hot water in the bathroom. The door lock to the bathroom does not work. The place was dirty. Food and service were okay, but its not what it once was thats for sure. We used to come in 3 or 4 times a week, but I guess those days are gone now. New ownership or management maybe? Too bad . . .

I feel bad making this review because up until today the service has been great. I m not sure if the employees were new but Today was horrible. The price of everything has went up and I get that but the fact that the debit machine prompts you to tip is annoying. This is still a fast food restaurant it is just a little bit healthier than most & though I did tip I wish I hadn t a as my pita was terrible. The idea of tipping is you tip based on your service, you tip before hand and the service is just trash it makes you not want to tip at a fast food place period. They also as you to donate $2 to a charity now which may seem great but it s just the corporations way of getting some sort of tax write off. I came for a pita the pressure to tip and donate is unnecessary.. I realize this is happening at all locations but I had to add it into my review because the request of tipping has gotten out of control lately. Now about the over all experience. I wasn t asked if I wanted peppers and mushrooms on the grill so I had to request it and as the girl making my pita put them on the grill & the other employees was taking them off 2 seconds later. I was the only customer in the restaurant, my food was rushed for no reason. My chicken was cold and veggies uncooked. The pita itself was 2/3 packed with lettuce which made it huge and awkward to bite. I understand it is fast food as stated earlier, but if there is now a request to tip you would think my food wouldn t be rushed off the grill and still cold. It is now nearly $14 for a large pita and the over all experience was that they were to take whatever money they could then rush you out the door with a sloppy cold pita. I would have went back but I grabbed it on my lunch break. I don t send anything back. This speaks on how bad it was. These employees may be new as I said previously & in this case I feel kind of bad writing this because the regular people in there do a fine job, I have been a repeat customer for a long time & never have I had an experience anywhere near this one. I will be going back eventually and and I will update my review accordingly.

Very fast being POOR :: but forget someone order vegetarian or non veg. Using same cutter/masher same place of hotpan. No sense of keeping vegetarian menu if you don t make even a little separation. Ordered two bowls and wasted $30. (Not a good option if you are vegetarian)

We make this our weekly stop for take out. The staff is very friendly and Catherine is exceptional at her job. She always remembers our order and prepares it quickly and efficiently. She is always very pleasant and attentive and I look forward to our visits. UPDATE... I feel the same as K. First of all the customer service we received was terrible. The girl was not the least bit friendly, which if we receive a good meal we can tolerate that. We ordered 2 rice bowls ( our regular weekly order) and she didnt ask us if we wanted veggies on the grill, we had to tell her, and the chicken was still cold when we ate it. We always enjoy our meals, the girls who have been there a while are always friendly and do a great job. Very disappointed this time.

Came back a year later - different staff but same great food.

The tattoed girl didnt offer to grill my veggies so no tip, also didnt seem very nice or pleasant to deal with . When i asked if she could fill my water bottle with tap water, she paused, hesitated said shed have to ask and then decided just to do it without asking. Im glad she did it , but dont act like you have to ask to fill my water. Im a paying customer ffs. If she wouldnt have filled my water , I would have wanted a full refund. Just lazy it would seem. Average quality food. Lettuce didnt seem like it was washed at all, tasted bitter. No reason to return to this location.

First time having pita pit. The service was great, and so was the food.

We ordered take out. The staff were welcoming, cordial, and helpful with our Pita sandwiches. We ordered the Garden Veggie Pita, which I highly recommend for vegetarians. They have a wide selection of choices from cucumbers, tomatoes, green peppers, olives, spinach, pickles, and a variety of sauces. Theyll even toast your Pita on request. A very healthy place to get a sandwich. Kid-friendliness: They offer small kid size pitas and beverages

Food was good and wasnt too busy when i went

Staff was friendly, food was made quick and tasty.

I had a small issue at this location and when I spoke to the manager about it he was very kind and understanding and had dealt with it in a very tactful and mature way. We go to this location weekly and will continue doing so because of the way things were dealt with. Great job and thank you!

I ve been here several times. In the past they were great. Lately they have new staff every time I come in and their customer service is absolutely terrible. The one girl there gave me attitude for asking a simple question. It was disgusting! She had no customer service etiquette. Other times you ask for a certain pita and when you ask them for more toppings they look at you like there is something wrong with you. I don t understand why they are so stingy with the toppings, I got the same amount of lettuce a Childs pita would have in the large! Needless to say I won t be going back to this location. Customer service is no good!

Customer service could use some work. One of the employees very frequently doesnt speak at all. I walk up the cash register, she walks up to it and stares at me. No Can I take your order or anything. After I order, she rings in the order silently, then gestures for me to pay. The entire time she looks miserable and gives an eye roll every time a new customer comes in the door. I frequently dont feel welcome here.

Younger staff, very efficient, we got our food quickly and it was well done. Ingredients look super fresh no wilting lettuce like some places. Good choice for a healthy alternative to fast food.

Friendly staff and clean inside. Food is good and has very good options that are fairly low calorie if thats what you are looking for. Has both vegan and vegetarian options and great selection of toppings and sauces. Vegetarian options: There is a black bean option as well as a falafel for people who are looking for non meat options. Dietary restrictions: There are quite a few very low calorie options and I believe most pitas can be made as a salad as well instead of on a pita.

I just went there today on my way home from work and there was a young lady ( tall , highlighted hair) I must say she was very unfriendly not even a smile it s always nice to be greeted with a hello & a smile, this girl should not be serving customers.

Absolute best pita pit location, I ve been too! The Customer Service, there is outstanding, and now I will never not ask for grilled pickles on the side! So happy with the customer service that we tipped $20! Definitely recommend this location if nearby!

Tasty food and fast service

Love how thorough they are here with gluten intolerances! I asked for a gluten free pita and although I am not celiac Juet gluten intolerant the woman making the pita asked if I would like the grill cleaned and also asked if i would like her to change her gloves after making my partners pita. I ve never had a place be so thorough so I appreciate it ! Will def be back Dietary restrictions: Accommodating to gluten intolerance

Need to share the love.... Had a Southwest whole wheat pita with a Berry smoothie. The ladies were very nice & all the fixings were delicious & fresh.

I gave pita pit a five because the food was good but they messed the order and I believe they priced themselves right out of the market which says no matter how good the food is cost matters

I haven t been here since last year but the menu has expanded in such a good way, the rice bowls are really great and healthy. Their pitas are always scrumptious and the toppings are fresh. The staff were so kind and the service was quick and efficient. Can t wait to go back for dinner sometime!

Worst pita pit of all time and not JUST because it is in Simcoe. Although that is at least 85 percent of the reason.

I didnt like their customer service very poor and rude girls. Knowing the fact that we are living in diverse society everyone have their preferences and we should respect that. I told the girl who was preparing food for me to keep my meat separate from pork or bacon and she said oh sure its separate but I noticed they used same spatula and same grill for meat and placed bacon near it I told them I cant have the girl said I should have mentioned earlier I told her I did. They did however made again without cleaning or changing their spatula I took the food but had to give it to someone who could eat it. Clearly this place is not for us.

Used to have a 5 star review of this place but recently the quality has gone down. Staff barely try and you barely get a sprinkling of meat on your pita these days for the same price. At least a year ago most of the staff were friendlier and you got a fair ammount of meat for what you were paying

The food here is always fresh and good. The place is always clean and the staff is mostly friendly. The bathrooms are clean. There is outside seating for when the weather is warm and there is some seating inside.

Our pitas were made very fast sloppy and skimpy on veggies even lettice. Now i see why its been for sale for so long because its the worst pita pit i have been to. Service was fast due to no customers but not very friendly. Workers looked unhappy.

I drive through Simcoe to get to my trailer. I stopped at pita pit to get a pita to bring with me. I had my little chihuahua in my SUV and I couldnt leave her in it in 30 degrees heat..it wouldnt lock with keys in and air on.So I carried her in and asked if i could just order a pita and leave..explaining the situation. I was sent away because of my dog. Simcoe is a tourist town..that I suspect depends on the extra money in summer months. I was embarrassed first of all..I think they could have accommodated me..it could have paid and they could have brought it out to me? Not a smart way to treat your tourists..me and my family wont come there again.

Overpriced garbage went in on Saturday to get a chicken salad bowl $25 bucks for 2 salads you gotta be kidding me! so I told them to keep there salad. went to Walmart up the road picked up 2 Cesar salad kits a package of precooked sliced chicken for $14 dollars don t waste your money on this overrated overpriced food

This was the most tasty pita I ve ever had! They were friendly, fast, the place was clean, my meal was exactly as ordered, and all of that made my double chicken with Swiss, light mayo, Tex mex, green peppers, onions, tomatoes, spinach, avocado and hummus on whole wheat that much more tasty! I wish I was still hungry so I could have another...
