Decent sushi. The Wasabi had a great kick.

Eaten at all you can eat sushi restaurants many times in several cities, none are better quality/value. Right in my home town of Simcoe! So nice to be move back home after 2 decades away and have a wonderful experience like this. Very friendly family owned that is FAST and efficient at delivering excellent food to your table. Kid-friendliness: Staff is very friendly to kids and accommodating.

A great local sushi place! Tons of variety so everyones happy. ACYE if youre hungry, this place is awesome.

Had a really enjoyable meal here. The fish tasted really fresh and the service was wonderful. I didnt feel rushed, and my food came out at nice increments instead of all at once. It was decently busy with people dining in for a Wednesday and the take out was bumping busy.

We do the all you can eat. For a small sushi place in a small town its decent! We enjoy eating there when we dont want to drive for town. The menu isnt huge but its a good side. They have yummy rolls and good service

Ive ordered twice now and have been very happy both times. Great prices and good food.

I ordered the beef Teriyaki. It comes with a flavourless Miso Soup and a basic average salad. Then around 20 minutes later the beef teriyaki showed up. I put a piece in my mouth and had to spit it because it was un chewable and extremely salty, like if it was old meat. Mine was the worse dish of the table and the people who ate the sushi said the sushi was okay but overpriced for a place so small in a strip mall. Will not return here for sure.

This is by far my favourite restaurant. The family is lovely, very friendly and always gets to know their returning customers. The food and atmosphere is great. Definitely a place you need to try! Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly! My son and I go out all the time here and he eats off of the all you can eat menu for free since he s 3.

Its definitely the best place to go in the Simcoe area, the staff are amazing, the interior looks great and the food is really good. Now I might just be picky but I believe the portions are a bit small for the price but that is my only complaint

We are truly fortunate to have such a great quality and excellent value sushi restaurant in Simcoe. The service is friendly, the sushi is fresh and generously portioned. I highly recommend the sashimi and also the special rolls, which are not only tasty, but also wonderfully presented if you are dining in (which I recommend, but JC is clearly VERY popular for takeout!)

Took the family Easter Sunday! It was a wonderful way to spend time together and enjoy Sushi. Our youngest son was away at basic training. This made for a great way to spend time together with eldest son and his girlfriend. Food was delicious and displayed beautifully for our enjoyment. The ambiance was comfortable and welcoming. Will definitely make it a tradition.

Its pretty average. The fish werent particularly flavourful (in fact, theyre overly wet for some reason). They increased the prices / decreased the portions but havent updated their menus yet.

Had an amazing dinner ! All the food was delicious and came out fairly quickly. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because they still use a paper ordering system instead of a tablet which made ordering a bit tedious. But would definitely return!!

Amazing sushi, and prompt service. Was called 15 min after ordering online to let us know it was almost ready. The miso soup and fried tofu is delicious. The maki rolls are huge and FRESH. Ive ordered here over 10 times ! Once for(take-out) a party of 10,, amazing !! Its always sooo fresh, best Sushi Ive ever had . My daughter doesnt like fish so we order lemon chicken and cucumbers makis! Recommend by us . Cant wait to dine in. Food : 5/5

What a great restaurant. The staff is friendly and take care of their guest. I have a gluten allergy and if i ordered something accidently there were there to correct me. Food and prices were great. So many options for alll fish fans and non fans. This place 8s do much better than the big stores like Blossom sushi. Becoming my favorite restaurant. Bonus I went on my birthday and found out you eat all you can eat free on your birthday.

I love the sushi (5 star) but the PAD THAI was not good at all. SO sorry to give you this rating.... The noodles where over cooked (mush) and in a hot pink goo that was flavorless - I couldnt eat it at all. Please learn to make better pad thai (MY-THAI Brantford is AWESOME!!!).

We sat down ,we had 2 families dining in ...until we were told ,that the children had to order all you can eat ,they couldnt order off the menu at the same table ...just weird ,we ended up walking out and head to joy sushi we they were able to order off menu

The sushi didn t seem that fresh when I went there. I guess it was edible enough. It was also kinda pricey for the all you can eat. I saw someone eat 60 pieces of raw salmon here and I almost wanted to hurl.

Wonderful staff and quick service. Despite this, the sushi itself (particularly the nigiri[zushi]) was disappointing. Very sloppy knife cuts and very thick slabs of fish. Additionally, the paper/pencil ordering system slows the whole process down. I would definitely give it another try in case this was a one-off poor experience as the service and people were excellent!

A nice place to get a quick bite of sushi. I cant say it was the best sushi that Ive ever eaten, but it was still delicious. The rice can be a bit hard but it was still pretty good for the price. Id reccomend it if you were in Simcoe.

The food was awesome! Sashimi was top notch, nigiri and rolls were superb and the presentation wasnt like anything Ive ever seen! The only aspects I would suggest for improvement are the service and description of sushi. Would have loved for the server just to check on us a few more times (extra napkins, top off waters and table check). Then for the sushi there were a few rolls we didnt know would be battered and fried (wasnt in the ingredient description). Aside from that, we had a great time and definitely learned our stomachs limit . Would recommend!!

We went for all you can eat lunch. The quality of the food is excellent with solid portions. Definitely worth the lunch and dinner all you can eat. We chose so many different items from chicken wings to sushi, wonton soup, pad Thai. It was all excellent.

I cant speak on atmosphere, as weve only ever ordered takeout. However, their food is delicious. Im not one for raw fish so I stick with chicken Teriyaki. Highly recommend the chicken Teriyaki dish or rolls.

Great little gem in Simcoe! Food was delicious! Last time my daughter was there she left her card on the table with a number of stamps on it. The owner recognized her and gave her another card with the missing stamps!! Very sweet gesture

Went there for the first time small little restaurant ordered a bunch of food all you can eat and it was really good. They missed a few items we had ordered but other then that Id go back. Their homemade rolls were really good. Quick service. Great job serving 2 families the other day.

Ordered online for pickup. Got a Maki tray for 2, it was oddly hot and several rolls fell apart when touched. There was no wasabi included. Also ordered assorted tempura vegetables, half were ok but the other half were undercooked and soggy. Didnt include 2 bottles of pop that were paid for online. The edamame and seaweed salad were good.

Gross. There was a hair in the shaomai dumpling, they obviously make their own. The sushi is terrible. The beef maki is embarrassingly gross. Honestly lol last time I ever eat here.

The sushi is fresh, tasty and the service is good. The only down side is that the soy sauce is a little too salty, and they do not give enough ginger and wasabe with the take out. Other than that, their prices are very reasonable when compared to other sushi places. My girlfriend and I have ordered take out from here twice and we will eat here again.

Ordered 2 party platters about 2-2.5hrs ahead of our pickup time (I live about 30mins away, was told it was good so decided to try it out. They also suggested the pickup time, which we were good with). We get there and nothings ready and they make us wait another 30mins. The price was good but quality was okay. Dont think Id get it again though

Our family loves JC Sushi. The service is always top notch, so friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious and you wont be disappointed. If you go at the right time, you might be treated to guitar music from their son. Great place, 10/10 would recommend. 5 stars isnt enough. We will be back for sure!

Brutal. I ve gone there 4 times, twice dine in and they forgot our orders both times.. the place isn t big.. I would think it would by easy to see a table you ve forgotten. Called twice for take out and again forgot our order. Drive up to pick it up and they have no idea... Just brutal. Can t understand why.

You can see where the food is prepared so you know they re being clean and proper. The food always tastes fresh. Great family place, good for a date or friends. The sushi itself doesnt taste poor, however the rice content to protein/veg in their rolls is quite robust.. leaving the quality contents at a minimum for your $. They refuse to answer their phones for a pickup order, and not very personable when in restaurant. would recommend Sakura for quality sushi in Norfolk

BEST Sushi restaurant around! Always serving great food in a very timely manner even at busier times. Menu offers a wide selection with something for everybody! We always choose JC as they also have a loyalty card where every tenth visit is free! Cant beat the price either! This restaurant has done very well since its opening and I hope they continue to do well into the future!

The sushi is good but, what gives this a 5 star is the service. They are a really nice family who always accommodates for us bringing in our own containers for take out. When we dine in, they are always nice to our toddler :). Just outstanding!

JC Sushi is an excellent addition to the scene in Simcoe. The food is fresh and served fast. They have a wide variety of menu choices including an all you can eat option. The sashimi and assorted rolls are particularly tasty and the dumplings are yummy also. This little restaurant is sure to charm you and fill you up as well.

We eat in and take out at JC quite often and have never had an issue. The service is awesome, food is great and the staff have always been friendly! An added bonus is if you mention that you cant eat gluten, they will do their best to make items without tempura or any sauces containing gluten! They even have gluten free soy sauce! This being said, there is always a chance of cross contsmination considering they do use wheat products so dont take this review as a GF guarantee.
