We recently visited St. Thomas on Dec. 6 for the first time and this was one of the highlights of our weekend. The food was excellent and the drinks were even better. I would recommend this place to anyone who visit and make sure you get the Cinnamon Roll you won't regret it.

A beautiful restaurant located right near Point Pleasant hotel. We celebrated our anniversary here, the food was beautifully prepared and was incredible. Our server was fun, friendly and all of the other staff were a delight. We cannot wait to come back.

The ambiance of this restaurant earned it all of the 4 stars. The view was amazing and lovely live music was a perfect touch to a romantic evening. The food was okay, the lobster mac the best dish out of braised short rib and sea bass. Overall, if you’re staying at Point Pleasant resort, I’d recommend it.

now! Everything was absolutely amazing from the cocktails that were mixed perfectly while enjoying live music that was just the right vibe and volume, speaking of vibes the inside is very nice, lighting was perfect and higher up on the mountain overlooking a bay, we went at night and had a full moon view lighting up the water and it was absolutely beautiful, for starters - we had lobster Mac n cheese which was sooooo good it had the perfect crust top and it was nice and cheesy! Main course we had 2.5 lbs of local lobster and a special which was a 14oz New York strip with a very yummy sauce drizzled overtop and green beans and the best crunchy potatoes. The service was amazing, he always took care of my girlfriend first and checked in just enough. Silverware was changed out and delivered on a wooden platter- even for 1 knife. One of the best meals I’ve ever had! I don’t ever leave reviews but this place was too perfect. This is a must go if you don’t mind fine dining. It was pricey but worth every penny.

This restaurant is on the Point Pleasant Resort property. Our visit was kind of a let down after the reviews I’d read. We were staying on resort property and left this restaurant to our last night. We were given the ‘short staffed’ excuse several times. Which, I’m sure they were, but your customers don’t need to hear about it so many times. We made a reservation the day of the visit. The name 180 had us assuming it meant 180 degrees of a view, but the view was only for a few select tables. It might actually mean 180 degree Fahrenheit. This is an open air restaurant, but the evening we dined was hot and the restaurant was very stuffy; no cross breeze to speak of, and we couldn’t feel the ceiling fans moving any air. This restaurant charges $8 for still water. We weren’t told about this, just had it reflected on the bill. A bummer since it was such a hot night. Service and food was slow. I enjoy slow dining, but not when it’s 90 degrees. A single course and dessert took us 2 hours. Looking up this location on Google does not show the actual location. Google shows the resort’s activities space. On the screenshot I’ve submitted I’ve pointed and arrow to the actual restaurant. The road to the restaurant/activity center parking through the resort is steep and winding. The walk down to restaurant is also very steep. The food was good. Nothing special that you couldn’t find elsewhere on the island. You are paying for an elite experience, but ours wasn’t quite that. I ordered a drink and received the wrong one. Our serve seemed so frazzled that I just drank the one I was brought. I had the roast half chicken with green beans and potatoes. I had 4 green beans on my dish. Another diner got the same dish and it came without any beans at all. The best dish I had was the apple donut-type dessert. Which was honestly one of the best things I ate on my whole trip. The flourless chocolate cake was the size of a silver dollar. The creme brûlée was decent. Our favorite part was the stray cat who came through the restaurant looking for a handout.

Best meal we had on the island. Much better experience than Caribbean fish market. Salads were on point! The goat cheese, candied walnut, fruit with vinaigrette salad was my favorite. We had the filet and also the seafood risotto. Both were very good and very filling. Service was good, Deshelle our waitress was very attentive and couldn’t stop smiling. View was fabulous. Grounds of this resort was very impressive and made me want to look at renting here in the future.

The food was amazing! I had the Sugar Brown Farms Spicy Mixed Green Salad and the Chilean Sea Bass. I also had the Cherry Smoked Old Fashion...everything was delicious! We probably would have had dessert except our server never came back. I got frustrated and asked the owner for our tab. I'm sure it would have been wonderful as well. There was a male server and he was wonderful. I would make him the trainer for all of the wait staff! Go for the food, not the service.

My husband and I ate there last night. As previously mentioned, it’s a new upscale (but not snotty) establishment with new ownership and a new outlook on making the restaurant the best on the island. Just opening last week, they are taking things slow as they begin to advertise. They want to ensure they are doing things right in order to meet the needs of the diners. We started with the yellowfin tuna appetizer. My husband had the Chilean sea bass with crab risotto (absolutely outstanding) and I had the fish and polenta, which was also very good. The portions are just right—enough food without having to take leftovers home. I echo the espresso martini—I had two😝, they were delicious!! I was full but my husband also got the chocolate chip bread pudding with vanilla ice cream for dessert. I had a bite and it was divine!! In addition, you can’t beat the view and the simple, upscale Island vibe inside. Overall, it was absolutely amazing from to moment we arrived to saying good night.

Food was good but service was just okay. Waitress was not very well versed on menu and online menu was different from brunch menu onsite. Kitchen was slow. One person on our party of 8 got her food way later than everyone else. Waitress said it was because there wasnt room on the griddle to cook a waffle (???).

We hosted our wedding for 65 people at Ocean 180, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. Greg, the manager, worked with us every step of the way to help make our dream wedding come true. His experience and professionalism were so reassuring throughout the (admittedly stressful) process of planning a destination wedding. He was transparent about every detail and delivered exactly what he said he would. The staff was absolutely amazing. We had an open bar from 4-11 pm, and they kept the drinks flowing the entire time. When I say service with a smile, I really mean it. Every single guest (including those with dietary restrictions) raved about the food, from the passed appetizers through dessert. We had enjoyed several meals at Ocean 180 prior to the big day, but what an amazing feat to pull that off for 65 people all at once! If you re looking to host an event in St. Thomas, absolutely keep Ocean 180 in mind. We never had any doubt that the backdrop would be stunning, but they truly delivered on every detail. I would do everything over again exactly the same way.

Probably the best dining experience we have ever had. Food, flawless, service was friendly and fast and the kitty saying hi to us was a hit. We both agreed this was our favorite spot on the island. We ordered the sea bass and pork chop, both were perfect. 10/10

Made rsvp and they took me to a table in the very back cause I was by myself. Told I better make rsvp but no one was there. That was disrespectful. And the very next couple got a sweet table with a view. Zero out of zero ! Go to Sun & Sea or Margaritaville. Food

This was marketed as the upscale restaurant of the Point Pleasant Resort, & it did not disappoint! We started the night off with some old fashioneds which were literally smoked in a glass cabinet, pretty cool & all of the drinks were fantastic. Mussels, lobster, & Wahu all tasted excellent. If you are looking for some classy dining with great service this is your place.

The food was not up to par for the price. I got the wahu which was the special for the day and it was a huge let down. The sauce and rice accompaniment was terrible. But the staff were very nice. And the restaurant was a little difficult to find especially in the dark but when I called one of the lady staff member came and got us from the parking lot. Parking is also a little tricky to find. There was only one server that day Kyle who did an amazing job serving several tables.

Well, how s this restaurant different? The service was prompt and ran on time, which has been a rare thing while dining in St. Thomas. The food tasted great and the presentation was excellent. Our waiter, Russel was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and had great recommendations. Sea bass was prepared very nicely, filet was seasoned to perfection, and the lobster-mac was excellent. The restaurant had live music, which was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommended!!

Black cat freely roaming around under patrons tables and hoping up on ledge next to the table my fiance and I was sitting at to enjoy the view. The staff freely walking around as if this was normal and appropriate. Communicated with staff I did want the cat around my table. She shooed cat away for the cat to return in less than 5 minutes. Again, staff walked about as if this was appropriate etiquette for a so called high end restaurant on Point pleasant grounds. I was so upset as I am allergic to cats and wanted to enjoy my meal without any interruption from a stray animal that I left the table. My fiancée stayed to gather the leftovers and pay the check. It was obvious this is acceptable to this establishment. Beautiful view, mediocre food with small portions that is overpriced Dietary restrictions: Can t say

Ocean 180 exceeded expectations for dinner and exceeded the resort itself! The views and ambiance were sensational. Char-grilled Caesar salad had a nice kick and the Chilean sea bass with risotto and spinach was delectable. Service was attentive and friendly. Chef Paul stopped by our table to check on us. We also had the soup du jour, asparagus with crab and it was lovely. Topped off with flourless chocolate torte and espresso. So good we went back for Sunday brunch! Lump crab Benedict did not disappoint. the steel pan entertainment was perfect.

We walked in the restaurant on a 90 degree night expecting the restaurant to have some cooling appliances. Our four year old son gave us a hard time walking up the steep hill so both my husband and I were sweating profusely. The waitress took a quick glance at us and decided that we were not worthy of a fan (you have been warned there s no AC here) or a place facing the ocean (at least that would have given us some breeze). After being seated for a few minutes, my son was melting down complaining how uncomfortably hot it was. The waitress walked by rolling her eyes. We left without bothering trying anything except for a glass of water. If you dare to charge over 100 for a bottle of wine, I d expect much better service and a cooler environment to enjoy sizzling hot food.

Ocean 180 is by far one of my favorite places on island to get a great meal! I have never left there disappointed and am sure to bring friends and family along. Everything on the menu is just amazing (my favorite is waffle and lobster because I love sweet and savory) and the first time I went I sat at the bar and the customer service was out of this world. The second time I sat at a table with a view (even though all tables have a great view) and enjoyed myself a great meal with great service. They have live music so be sure to check their website to see when if you want some entertainment. Yes it is open air but most places on island are that way and I enjoy getting to smell the great outdoors of the ocean and hearing the waves. You will get a good breeze flowing and they have fans as well but remember you are on island so no one can control the weather/heat. Dont worry though as the bartenders are amazing and craft up refreshing and cooling cocktails/wine etc. All in all every time I have gone here it has been an amazing experience and the staff goes above and beyond for their customers. We parked at the front gate and they call a shuttle for you both ways. The price is worth it when you get great food and drinks and excellent service. Dietary restrictions: I always am sure to call ahead to let the kitchen know of my restrictions to make sure there are options they can make for me. Ocean 180 did perfect job at it! Parking: We parked at the front gate and they call a shuttle for you both ways.

We had a great dinner, the waiter was very nice and professional. He made us feel so welcome and he seemed to enjoy his job. We came back again for Sunday brunch. It was really nice and they had live music playing. He was very good and it wasn t so loud that you couldn t hear the people at your table. So we decided to return on our last night. It s so convenient as we could walk here within minutes. Once again our dishes were delicious. My husband s favourite was a special of beef tips with black eyed peas.
