Hotel was very disappointing. It is dated and maintenance is lacking. Service was arrogant and dismissive. Requested an early check out mid week an they refused and charged an additional day, citing they needed time to clean the room. ... So they don't normally clean the rooms daily? Help me out here. The hotel was not busy and it was just an obvious grab for my wallet. I'm a traveling professional and I have stayed in hundreds of hotels across Canada and this one was one of the most disappointing. It is extremely clear that they know they are the only hotel in the region and they don't care about the customer at all. They will even say that to your face, which they did. Thank you for really spelling it out for me. If you can avoid this place do so. Use Airbnb, or a motel, the back seat of your car, a park bench... Because honestly I've had much mich better service at a motel for a similar quality of stay and a fraction of the price. Room highlights: Bathroom was dirty, bed was a roller coaster, room smelled, carpet hasn't been cleaned in forever. Everything worn down, old, and dated, chipped, dented, or otherwise in disrepair. In desperate need of a renovation. Enjoy your stay!
Came with friends and booked 3 rooms. One room the water stopped working during the night and the fridge wasn’t working. In the morning the elevator wasn’t working so we all had to carry all our luggage down the stairs. The issue was in the way reception handled it. If they had offered a discount and apologized for the inconvenience we would have been ok with it but she said this happens in hotels and there was nothing she could do. We had to argue with her for a 10% discount then she only wanted to give it to 1 room which wasn’t even the room with the water problem. She also swore at one of us ladies “ do you want your “F ____in discount now “ Seriously never had that happen at a hotel before. The restaurant however was lovely, good food and top notch service.

This is the worse hotel I've ever seen in my life ! They stole my money. The receptionist were horrible unprofessional and not willing to help with the problem that they put me in. They didn't refund me my 240$ for the room that I wasn't able to go into because they did not accept my extra 250$ deposit by visa debit. They say it's only. By credit card. But why do they let me get a room with the visa debit ? They should have a whole sign on the booking website that's says credit card only ! *** I do not recommend this hotel. Don't even go there. Sleep in your car if you have to
The girl at the reception is completely unaware of what she is doing, is disrespectful and unhelpful. I extended my stay for an extra day and they charged me more than what was stated at the reception. The air conditioner in the room makes a lot of noise
I had booked this hotel, where we had stayed in the past for my husband, who drove down from Toronto for a funeral Saturday. Arrived at 3 pm. Hoped after a 6 1/2 hour drive I could check in early, but they said you could only check in at 4 pm, even if the room was ready. My husband had to go and wait in his truck for an hour - which is not very nice. Room was comfortable, but there was no hot water for his shower. Told front desk, they said "oh well". That is not good at all. Ate at the restaurant for dinner on Saturday - very nice meal. Also had breakfast Sunday morning before the service, it was also good.
We got married here and the staff was amazing. We came back for the New Year's Eve and got the package with rebate at the Steakhouse and breakfast included. Again, everything tasted great, staff were friendly and dedicated. the beds are sooooo comfortable!!! Will definitely go again!
Clean, simple classic room - only issue water pressure in shower was a little low. Spa was fantastic and relaxing. Tristian at the front desk made our stay wonderful - kind, progressive individual that is clearly an asset to the hotel. A+
For those who like soft beds and floffy pillows you will be served! Me not! Its not easy to brush your teeth!! It took 1h10 to get my lunch... a cook and a waitress... I think they are overwhelmed!!!
Room 120 was clean, comfortable bed, nice bathroom and patio door with river view. The sofa bed was much less comfortable, however. Very good dinner at the hotel restaurant for our group, but the service was slow.

Rooms ok nothing more. Bathroom door stained with handprints. I sit down to lunch and ask for coffee with milk. The lunch buffet is strange in a dark room with the floor littered with extension cords, some with sticky paper. The tables are bare, the fruit is old with a huge bowl of room temperature yogurt with gray beef stew. I lost my appetite and asked to have only 2 toasts with a coffee. 10 minutes later Im still waiting for my milk and hearing a conversation in the distance I finally learn that its impossible to have 2 toasts. I get up and ask the boy who is folding battens if I can have some milk. I suggested to the manager to go and cook my toast myself in the mysterious room in order to compensate for the labor shortage, which she refused. They finally bring me a huge tray of milk cups for at least 10 people. I left without eating.

Bad experience with reception staff on each visit. The restaurant is very good, the staff too :) the rooms are clean, but every time you book online with a credit card, they recharge on arrival so 2 deposits. Several times! The staff is contemptuous bordering on rude. Rooms: Clean rooms.
Suggestion to put more scent in the rest room at the spa. From commercial distributors for example. The tranquility is perfect, the staff is perfect, the restaurant is 100% excellent and the service wows its big mark. The cleanliness of the room is ordinary but we were immediately relocated to another room, very good service.

First visit to SteakHouse for us! The menu is not bad but what can we say about the dishes, the rubbery ribs, full of gristle and much too sweet. Pepper style sauces taste just fatty in addition to being very liquid and incipid. Plate of beef tartare excellent apart from the egg yolk gelling instead of being runny as it should and the croutons phew at the price the plate costs, please! Cutting slices from a fresh, lightly toasted baguette instead of rock-hard canned croutons would be much better. The devil is in the details! Positive points, the service was impeccable, we were received by an ultra friendly, smiling and very attentive waitress.
We booked for 2 nights, it was paid via the platform. Little addict at the front desk, who wanted to charge us again. Nothing dramatic!! The room was worn out! The carpet was stained, there was plastering that had not been repainted, dried toothpaste on the bathroom shelf, the ironing board was stained and mold above the air conditioning . Very ordinary service at lunch, no coffee refill! It was surely a nice hotel but it lacks love and is the victim of a certain nonchalance, unfortunately.
I would like to take a moment to thank our wedding coordinator Claudie Lafond-Carrière. Claudie gave us extraordinary personalized service! We felt listened to and supported 100%. There were difficulties with the management of the hotel and Claudie saved the situation. Without her our day would have been completely different. Its a pearl. Thanks again for everything. The place is beautiful, especially the exterior. Perfect for wedding receptions and photos. The food was excellent, in short a great experience.

Rooms with dirty carpets, the cleanliness in the rooms leaves something to be desired, dirty glasses, very dirty carpets, windows with lots of fingerprints, poorly cleaned bathrooms, and so on! The pillows are terrible, Ive never seen such uncomfortable pillows, old soft bed! I dont understand that this hotel has 4 stars, it smells bad, poorly soundproofed, super noisy air conditioning, the worst hotel of my life!!

Comfortable hotel and attentive service. But several distressing elements: - Fee for late departure - Cardboard toilet paper - No towels or water in the gym A certain lack of attention to detail for a hotel with such great potential, in a region with just as much.
Check in from 5:00 p.m., we arrived at 5:20 p.m. and waited an hour in line before getting our room. Comfortable bed and nice room. A little soap was waiting for us in the bathroom but no shampoo/conditioner or anything else so make sure you bring some.
It was just amazing, especially the restaurant « amazing food and service! I do recommended it.

I loved my Nordic spa experience, on the other hand it would be nice if the bathrobes were warm in small heated cupboards outside when we are in the baths, swimming pool and sauna because the bathrobes were wet at -10 at the outside it wasnt too pleasant otherwise, apart from that and the thermostat issues it was really great very cozy as a place I highly recommend it
Definitely the worst hotel I have visited. Old carpets with an awful smell in the room. Not at all soundproofed with a really thin door that doesnt close. Being woken up all night by people far away on the floor so much that you can hear everything. Mini soap in the bathroom. We only have one dressing gown for our spa and hotel stays...no one wants to change it even if it gets wet after 2 days

Il serve de loin le meilleur burger au b uf quil ma été donné de manger de toute ma vie. Jy ai été quand même assez souvent et jai pu essayer la totalité de leur menu. Le Burger de b uf, seulement à 23$, un prix tout à fait raisonnable considérant lemplacement et la qualité de la préparation. Je vous le recommande, sans même hésiter. Les serveurs sont tout aussi courtois. Vers la fin, on peut dire quil me reconnaissaient tellement je my rendais souvent pour affaire. Jy ai toujours eu un accueil courtois et un service de qualité sans parler de la qualité de la cuisine qui concorde totalement avec son rapport qualité prix.

Words fail me: -A one-night rental, with a view of the river on the ground floor. -The room was dirty, poorly cleaned and smelled of damp - Power socket with missing protection plate and cold draft too -Lots of cigarette butts on the terrace in front of the patio door -Old kleenex under the bedside table .... I wish I could give this hotel a 5 star. THE Locations were perfect for my corporate events that I organize bi-annually but we had very poor service on several levels throughout the organization process as well as during the event itself. Several members of the reception staff are condescending, management ignores problems addressed to them and does not return emails or calls. We must argue to obtain several basic things within the framework of a corporate group with the staff. However, the restaurant is A1, the food and service excellent, as well as the atmosphere of the restaurant. The banquet hall maintenance staff are friendly and seem to understand simple customer service concepts better than management. Quite special to see how we treat customers, especially when there is the possibility of repeating an event worth a few tens of thousands of dollars twice a year. Having my own studies and background in catering and hospitality, I still havent come back from this experience.
Rooms: Clean and comfortable. But the heater/AC unit was a little noisy. Nearby activities: We went mostly for the spa and sadly it closes at 8pm on Sunday nights and doesnt open until 10 am Monday the next day! Althought you can enjoy for the whole day on checkout day, I prefer to go later in the evening and early mornings. Food and drinks: Restaurant was closed on Sunday night. . disappointed!! But breakfast was really good!
Its cold in the rooms I had asked for certain things in the room, these passed in butter. I was thirsty in the evening, I asked the reception if they offered anything, they told me to take my tank and go to the city center. I was advised to drink tap water. Dont do it. Ive been on the toilet since
A fairly serious accident occurred, I seriously injured myself in the sauna because the bottom was all sticky and poorly maintained and I slipped (they still closed the sauna directly when they noticed its condition) This injury had an impact my life and career in a major way.I requested follow-up from the hotel.I wrote several times.The manager only called me once when I returned from the hospital to say < lets turn the page, I hope you will get better> While I told him that I was in a cervical collar and immobile in bed. They did not compensate or help or follow up.
We spent one night, the price paid does not reflect the quality. One night in a semi-basement room for $173.00. Really disappointed with the quality of the room.

Be careful of the fake discounts they advertise! During our stay, my wife received a promotion on her phone from the hotel indicating a $49 discount for all reservations. So as we had booked months ago, we went to the hotel reception to get the discount but ho! surprise! we had 2 different versions regarding the refusal! The first one made by the girl at the counter was that the discount only applied to new reservations. We are therefore penalized for having reserved in advance!!! However, as we are repeat guests, we ask him to see the manager, since for us, it is a lack of respect and recognition towards good customers. Well, believe it or not, the manager, visibly embarrassed, tells us that the discount was applied when we booked, even though it was not! No need to tell you that this was the last time we booked at this hotel. Unbelievable, losing repeat customers for $49, while we brought several hundred dollars to the Steak House and spa. Bad service. No respect for customers who came every summer. Oh and by the way, the spa is so poorly maintained. Rust on the infrastructure, cobwebs all over the site (not cleaned) and loose tiles when entering the baths (dangerous). Damage. There are other hotels nearby that pay more attention to their customers.
We took a package including hotel night, access to the spa (2 days) with aperitifs and discounts on dinner and massages (mouth water package). In my opinion, good value for money. The spa experience was really good with clean facilities and a very pleasant setting. The restaurants dishes were very good. On the other hand, the mattress was very uncomfortable. There was one problem with this package, though, which is that it seems like the staff is not aware that it exists. To each person, at the hotel, at the spas, at the restaurant, we had to remind them of the discounts or the fact that it is included in the package because they always wanted to charge us for all the services. It was quite annoying, especially since when we arrived the lady at reception started to tell us that the spa was full and we couldnt access it. Even though I told her that it was included in the package, she didnt want to know anything. Fortunately, a manager came to confirm that this package exists. I suggest providing a bracelet or something else, so that the staff knows who has taken a package or not or providing something in their computer system that reminds them and that everyone is aware of the different offers that the hotel and the spa, it is not up to the customer to constantly remind us of what they are entitled to.

Disappointed with a hotel which almost passes for a motel you hear everything from the room to the corridor reservation confirmation nothing described for the time the guy at the reception tells me your room will be available for 4 p.m. I arrived for 2 p.m. he accommodated me after explanation and the price really leaves something to be desired for the quality I saw and had better for less expensive hotel its change from the last two years very disappointing after checking in fact the hairs in the shower on the ceiling
This Sunday my boyfriend and I went to the shore spa and it was a great experience, for me on several occasions and a first for him
Came here in the middle of winter to attend a local hockey game. We didnt have many choices as this is just about the only hotel in town. During the summer, this might be an excellent option as its right on the St.Lawrence Seaway, but on this evening, it was just plain cold! Oddly, we couldnt get the heat lowered in the room, so it was a warm evening trying to sleep. The hotel is nice, the rooms are nice. The winter price was stiff, but they got a monopoly going so I get it. No free breakfast, everything comes at a premium.
I went there for dinner and the service we received from Caroline was simply exceptional! A real gem!

Superb place, very nice hotel, room number 1, cleanliness number 1, the voices in the corridor barely perceptible, the agents at the reception and at the spa are super nice, polite and are open to our requests, we also had lunch included , superb restaurant and the lady serving lunch is super nice. The Spa overlooks the river, the only disappointment was that the Hamman eucalyptus spa was not working due to a technical problem. Very very nice stay to repeat, guaranteed

We are very disappointed with our night. We were given the room closest to the lobby between the restaurant and the elevator. There was a lot of noise and when the restaurant closed, people chatted really loudly in the lobby until midnight. I notified reception when we left and was told to call them if it happens again. I imagine they must have heard all this noise too. Very disappointed for the price
I booked with Tuango and contrary to a certain Google review I can confirm that the staff on site are informed, everything went without any problems! Besides, speaking of staff, nothing to complain about; although the tip was included in the said package, it was completely natural for me and my partner to leave an additional amount commensurate with the service we received. In two words: relaxed and attentive. The room was more than satisfactory, and we were even more impressed by the spa which gives a magnificent view of the non-existent marina in February, but hey, thats the price you pay for a thermal experience worthy of the name. Coming from someone particularly complaining, but still respectful it must be said (and I was not paid for this opinion nor taken hostage (except perhaps the glasses that my girlfriend lost in the steam bath)) , I must say that it is an exceptional sanctuary of peace just a few minutes from downtown Sorel, a little less exceptional (beware of cocaine addicts there is no sign for you in warn but rather a lovely courthouse stay tuned) but still surprising. Shoutout to Claude Vintage for lovers of second-hand clothes, shoutout to the warm waitress for the excellent à la carte lunches at the steakhouse and shoutout also to the fkn chill guy at the spa o nordic rock on baybé!! 10/10 would recommend and thank you to the best friend imaginable for accompanying me .

Where to start? My first impression on the phone with the hotel and the spa, simply very warm. Arrived at the hotel, the same friendly, courteous and warm welcome. Room still good size and clean, toilet included. The spa is really great, and the view couldnt be more relaxing, during the day and also in the evening. The restaurant? I had the burger and it really is really good. The lunch plates are copious and huge and also very good. Its sure that its far from my home (St-Jérôme) but the detour is definitely worth it.
I took the special 2 night package with tuango. When I arrived they couldnt find our reservation. Finally a manager took the time to adjust the package. With the room next door its really not soundproof, you can clearly hear what people say!. The bathroom is cold, no heating, with a wooden board in the middle of the sink. The sauna is full of holes and you have to persevere to get it hot. The steam sauna is still closed and the water is not cold enough. Finally I was accused of smelling smoke to extort 200 dls from me. Its my worst experience until today in this kind of places I prefer to pay more to have a little satisfaction.

Unprofessional girls at reception, gave me wrong information on my reservation! Arrived there she gave me a coupon for a free bottle of bubbly wine, told me we could leave at 1 pm and that we had breakfast included. Next morning none of this was true we got nothing and had to leave at 11 am, she took the coupon away and trashed it. She told me the spa was closed because of a power issue the spa reopened and she never advised us that night so we did nothing just stayed in the room all night when we could of at least relaxed. We drove 2 hours for nothing! Then we wanted to see the manager she said she wasnt there and she didn t even offer to call her! BAD SERVICE Noteworthy details: There was also kids screaming and banging in the walls. They should hire professional people.
Worst hotel ever and Im not asking at all. I advise against it, I would have had better service in a 2 star hotel in Cuba and I remain polite in saying that. Special mention to the person in charge of the hotel, your support is worth a big 0.
The rest is beige on beige. The bedding is of decent quality. The pillows totally uncomfortable, much too big. It was very clean and spacious. The Nordic baths (on Saturdays anyway) are more of a bar than a spa. Its good for partying with a gang, less as a couple. Rooms: The heating is very noisy.
We loved our stay, the cleanliness, the atmosphere, the facilities, the staff everything was really perfect! However, we had a long wait for the meal which left us hungry. We chose the promo including a delicious bottle of wine, two plates of sirloin steak with choice of side dishes and coffee/dessert. Everything was ok but the steak was full of veins. First time I was disappointed with a sirloin steak. The waitress, very friendly, offered to bring another but as the previous one ruined my appetite I refused. But I highly recommend the hotel and spa!

The rooms are very expensive for a room the room was very ordinary ($300 per night) and with this price we dont even have access to the spa for free. I advise if only you have no other choice

The room was good despite a great lack of soundproofing. It was clean, the mattress comfortable, but the pillows a little big. On the other hand, what disappointed me the most was the fact that the door was not locked manually from the inside, so the maid at 9 a.m. entered it twice without even knocking... In my opinion, this is completely unacceptable!

The bed sheets were stained and there were cracks on the ceiling in the room. The smell at the entrance was not good. We asked to change rooms (not possible) and no supervisor could be reached. The hostess suggested we put insectiside in the room.... There was also no playpen.

The hotel is magnificent! Modern decor in the lobby, in the corridors and what about the restaurant!!! The food is excellent. We liked the Nordic-station. We really appreciated that there are several small spas. The indoor resting air is very comfortable. It gets spoiled in the bedroom. The carpet had large stains and one of the lampshades had several yellowish rings. The air conditioning is not new. It worked intermittently. The bathroom has been well renovated. Stéphan Tremblay

Very disappointed once again! Last time we took a chance in the basement it was full of humidity. No additional swimming pool and spa access. The air conditioning is noisy AND INEFFICIENT. The bathroom shelf filled with dried tooth paw. The sheets are so cheap that its inherited my skin. I had trouble sleeping and had to get up to take the sheets. To end up being almost molested by the maid. Late check out...impossible without average fees when the hotel is empty. Unjustified price and lunch not included. A motel that pretends to be a hotel. I absolutely do not recommend.

I have being visiting in this hotel for few years 2-3 days every two weeks, our company have a corporate rate, But yesterday I was surprised when I made reservation the lady denied the company deal, she said I DON T CARE, I can t find your name or company, you have to pay full rate plus deposit!!!! Today I talked to the person at the front desk, he said everything is there, My name and company is clearly existing, But what happened is happened, he can t do anything about that, apparently he doesn t care also, I am mentioning that hoping it will be a new policy for the hotel.

Réservé pour 26 personnes au steak Hose tous déçus par la nourriture mais excellent service, dommage pour le personnel . Réservé 4 chambres , sur le site web , 250,00 la chambre , sentait l humidité dans les 4 . Demande un dépôt garanti de 200,00 . Les chambres sont plus qu ordinaires , ça ne vaut pas 250,00 $ par contre lit confortable. Je ne retournerai pas à cet endroit .
I arrive at 3 p.m. instead of 4 p.m. The host is EMPTY!! But I am told that my room is not ready. No problem finding a solution, sit down and well tell you when its ready. Theres no way there wasnt another room ready. First and last time here!
The worst hotel if you want to organize an event, the management treats you with contempt, when it gets to the point where it is no longer even possible to have water in the banquet rooms..very bad service, not capable to get drinks at lunch, we have been organizing events every year for over 17 years and this is the worst hotel we have had, really I do not recommend it to anyone, the upper management has no listening and no respect for the customer either.
Beautiful hotel, well decorated and well located on the waterfront. On the other hand, you should not trust appearances. The service and food was really not acceptable! We ate very poorly all weekend. I was in a group where we paid for accommodation and meals. The rooms stink of humidity! What can we say about the gas leak which gave us a headache! I really dont recommend the place!
We were there for a corporate weekend, phew, if thats your intention I advise you to move on, its not at all the place. Poor reception service. Endless waiting time to get our rooms. Meals were included, lack of bread for supper, ban on drinking a bottle of wine bought at the bar downstairs for supper, atrocious Sunday lunch! we got turned around because they ran out of food. Those who managed to eat waited 1h30 before getting their plates. Misunderstanding for the right to bring our drinks purchased at the bar in the room we reserved. 1 said no the other said yes even though we had a waiter who came to take orders in the room! Uncomfortable smell of gas in the basement bathroom. Chairs that break with screws that penetrate our skin. 1 Positive point, the steakhouse food.
When we arrived he gave us a room already occupied with the person in the room.. Hand marks on the headboard and dust on the bedside tables. No bottle opener not very practical
3 night stay. Employees dont seem to know how to handle the arrival of customers looking at each other with blank looks. There being 4 in the room, here are the supplies: 2 large towels, 2 washcloths, 1 hand towel and 1 sample of shampoo. There are 4 of us and I am told that this is what is provided. Day 2 reception room changes chairs because screws fall to the ground and one sticks into my lower thigh while massaging, the attendant finds it funny and brings me another thing which guess has 2 screws coming out too!!! The Steakhouse is good, nothing special to say and the service is perfect. Note this pretty bloody garnished with hot pepper and genoa just yum! In the evening in the reception room the service is almost zero and we have to fill our own water pitchers from the neighboring bathroom!! Saturday same dilemma with the obsolete chairs. In the evening Im going to order myself a bloody like the day before I received it stupid and flat without any fuss telling me that theres no time to put what comes with it?!?!? Um sorry?!?! Do you have time to add ketchup to my fries? Note that in the room there were 6 pitchers of water for 95 people!! No proper banquet management and I know something about it because I did banquets for 13 years! Where is the hotel manager?!? The service leaves 400% of the professionalism to be desired as well and the reception definitely lacks experience. 3 employees to congratulate: the Friday evening waitress as well as the late-night steakhouse server and the banquet hall housekeeper (blond lady with glasses). No help at the valet style welcome and completely ignores customer service, answering thats what it is. Room with 4 amenities for 2 people Hole in pants and thigh injury from chair screws. And thirsty like a woman in the desert. Strong point: comfortable bed, smell of eucalyptus from the spa outside and the light bubble wall makes for pretty photos. But for just these 3 strong points... I will never go back. In my message the spa side does not apply because I did not go. *****Maybe training at Ithq would be dismissed..and if you graduated from there well you cheated on someone.
We were a group of around 90 for a 3 day corporate event. FIRST AND LAST TIME. Little respect from customers. Poorly organized in several respects. Waiting time to check in, waiting time to eat in the morning, at lunchtime and impossible to drink alcohol purchased in the hotel in the dining rooms. Uncomfortable gas smell. Broken chair in bathrooms with screws sticking through the cushion. Poor customer service. Complicated to get water!!!!! Etc. Very disappointing for the asking price. I do not recommend for corporate events or large groups.
Very clean hotel, good room, be careful, the board above the small sink is too wide, the only big flaw is the lack of soundproofing, I didnt sleep all night because we talked all night in the next room. No access to the spa even if you have a superior room you must pay $55. Very good restaurant!
Enjoyed our experience! There is a beautiful spa within the hotel. And we had a nice big lunch served at the steakhouse restaurant!
Côté ébergement, il y a un manque, service inadéquat , nous devons toujours appeler pour avoir des choses qui ne sont pas dans la chambre tel que : oreillée manquante, débarbouillette et en plus personne vient pour faire la chambre où pour remplacer la lingerie, nous étions là pour deux nuits, trop chère payer ainsi que pas vraiment propre dans la chambre.

The hotel is very clean, I spoke with the maid, she is super nice and our waitress is great, all the employees are very friendly. very nice same thing at the spa thank you to all the great team
Hotel a little dated although the bathrooms have been renovated. Unfortunately, no soundproofing, I can hear my neighbors, and people talking in the hallway or closing their doors. Restaurant closes on Monday and Tuesday, not practical if you just want to have a drink. Fortunately, the Belvédère is there for that but the restaurant is not up to the standard of the place.
Extremely disappointed with my experience. I have nothing to say against the staff who were super welcoming, but otherwise mediocre experience. I dont know about the rooms further away, but my room was near the restaurant and the elevator and the noises only stopped around midnight. Considering that the steak house closes at 10 p.m., I dont understand why there was no intervention from the staff with the cacophony in the corridor. It was a party! In addition, the rooms are not soundproofed at all. For a stay that was aimed at relaxation, it was a failure!

My partner and I booked a one-night package with a couples massage and dinner at the Steak house. We had a very pleasant stay. The welcome from the staff is excellent and we ate very well.

Was charged and I didn t even stay there! I tried for. Days to speak to management and nobody answers their phones. Nobody responds to messages. Horrible customer service. Definitely wouldn t recommend.

Of all of the places we have travelled to in QC this was one of my favorite. We took a waterfront view and it did not disappoint. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.My suggestion is skip the restaurant in the hotel and go next door to the Belvédère.Spend the money and go to the spa, the massages and the spa itself are incredible. Cant wait to go back.
Beautiful hotel well located with very advantageous packages. The hotel restaurant and spa are very interesting. On the other hand, there were three of us in our room and it had been placed for two people. The cleanliness of the rooms needs to be improved, several large stains on the beds were present...
Friendly and efficient staff. Very good location in Sorel-Tracy. Good rooms, only a few small details that left something to be desired in the housekeeping of our unit (mirrors, bath/shower, dust, marks left on the bathroom counter, etc.) but nothing too serious. Very good breakfast and beautiful view of the river with the boats! THANKS !

Dated room, carpet that smells of humidity and cigarettes from other times... mattress too firm, cleaning more than desired... dust and hair in the room as well as dirty dishes. Too expensive for what it offers. At most 3 stars. Small SPA, several non-functional things like the exterior lights. Its not at all worth the extra cost to go to the spa... disappointing in general. I requested follow-up from management, left messages, but no call back. This is truly unacceptable.
The spa is great and I recommend it to everyone. On the other hand, the hotel is another story. We booked through Expedia and the hotel was visibly mixed up in their own logistics which definitely reflects a lack of professionalism. First of all, check out is at 11am, but there is a knock on the door 15 minutes before asking if we are ready to leave? I find this quite disrespectful and even insulting. We did leave at 11am and we didnt need to feel rushed like that when we had already planned to leave on time. Then I check out and they tell me everything is fine and that they will send me the receipt by email. No worries, were going to the spa to relax. Then suddenly I get a call from the hotel telling me they dont have payment and are unsure if we had paid for the room. Yes this was paid before our arrival with Expedia. However, the hotel disturbed us during our time at the spa and my partner had to go out to show them proof of payment. My partner made sure with the employees that everything was fine in the end the balance is zero for our stay. He indeed insisted several times to confirm that EVERYTHING is paid for, even access to the spa which had been billed the day before. They tell him yes. I then receive an invoice by email confirming the balance at zero for the hotel and the spa stay. The next day... I got a message on my hotel voicemail telling me that there was a misunderstanding and that access to the spa was not paid for but billed to the room. This is totally ridiculous, this is not a misunderstanding, it is indeed a lack of organization and a lack of professionalism on their part. We are honest people and of course we will pay, but lets see how to do it. At this point, when it comes to their error I believe that they could resolve it differently and not tell me that it is a misunderstanding when that is not the case. Without a doubt a problem relating to management within the hotel In short, we will return to the spa but definitely not to the hotel.

Just perfect! We took a package containing an overnight stay (late departure), lunch and entry to the spa with free sparkling wine. We also had dinner at the on-site restaurant...just wow! Nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Very clean place and courteous staff. I highly recommend this place.
We went to the steak house. I highly recommend it. Everything was really delicious and the service impeccable. It was the first time we went there and we will definitely go back. A great restaurant.
Hotel pas propre en général, la chambre sentait mauvais, la clim a laché (on ma dit que cétait normal quand lhôtel est plein). Un rouleau de papier de toilette pour 4 pour 3 jours! Pas de café assez pour 3 jours! Poussière Poussière et Poussière. Mais bon à Sorel il ny a pas une tonne de choix. Je ny retournerai jamais ça cest clair.
OK for one night but at $200 per night it s expensive for what you get. Dirty glass of water on arrival and someone came into our room in the middle of the night, not soundproof at all. At least the air conditioning worked well and the bathroom appeared to have been renovated recently.
Very clean, unfortunately not suitable for children. No childrens menu for lunch and although we paid for lunch included, my child did not have one. The sofa bed did not have a sheet available in the room. Twice I had to go back and ask for sheets because they didnt give me the right ones. These are details, but at the price of the room, I would have expected more organization and not having to assemble the bed myself. Ha and despite the photos of the spa on the hotel website, it is not included. It still comes to $30 per person.

Far overpriced for the quality of accommodations. The rooms are dingy and dated, and toilet amenities are motel-quality. Housekeeping did not clean the room every other day, despite leaving a card on the door (there is a note saying that they dont clean rooms except upon request!) The view from the hotel is OK. As other reviews note, a parking lot breaks your view to the St. Lawrence River. The grounds and lobby are beautiful, but once you get to your room, everything screams cheap motel. It may be worth $150 at the upper end, but I paid $250 which I found very poor value, and far below my expectations.
Cold reception. Manager at the reception is like he is the customer, rude, cold and limit arogance answers. Come in at 2:30pm to check in and room not ready , said to come back in 1h and after 1h not ready yet. And then gave me a room where you can hear the guest next room. Rooms are old, carpet smell a bit and cleanless not top. When asking a late check-out at 1pm i was asked to pay 30$. I am traveling every month for years and never asked to pay for late check-out. Only hotel in the city so you understand why they act like that. Restaurent refuses you if you dont reserve. But just go outside at 50m walk a great marina restaurent: le Blevedere. Beautiful view outside.
Great just smell of humidity in the room but a1 service
Horrible room, we bumped into each other several times, on the verge of filing a complaint! The lights near the bed didnt work, the glass door to the shower is so small in height that I hit my head on it, unnecessary corners of the wall.... the spa seems dirty too. Fortunately the service raises the level. Another hotel that makes people prefer Airbnb!
We are out of season, mid-September. Because the hotel and spa backs onto the marina, it seems to me that a hot day and a busy marina must be noisier for the spa. For the moment everything is perfect, even if the restaurant is closed on Mondays.

Very satisfied with our stay. On the 4th floor on the river side the view is superb. Clean, comfortable and quite quiet, except that the noise of the doors in the corridor can be disturbing. We took the package with dinner and lunch or we are entitled to a dinner credit, offered on the hotel website. Its worth it. But everything was not very clear and I had a small problem but the manager was very kind and sorted everything out.

Very poor service from our waitress. She was a lady in her 50s and over and she was very stupid and we felt rushed... we also noticed that she lacked respect for her colleagues.
In the bathroom, it smells of cigarettes, there was a stain in my sheets, so I asked for the sheets to be changed, its disgusting and they never changed the sheets.

Be advised! The activities passport not much available on it and the $25 discount for the spa is not very well explained! A full day costs $55.00 phew! Ive seen better Kinipi spa type! And we were not told that the $25 applied to the day we only spent 3/4 hours in the spa! To have known! In addition, in Estrimont, the baths are included in the price of the room. Really ordinary and the room is shabby. Im not usually a critic. And we are in hotels very regularly. I do not recommend this hotel. Too expensive despite a supposed Black Friday discount! IT S CRAZY!
