Ben & Florentine in Sorel-Tracy

Very bad service, we spent 1 hour sitting at the table before receiving lunch and on top of that it was cold. The waffle was dry and felt like a sponge, we ordered with custard and they didnt put custard, the fruit was hard. The waitress had no desire to serve people and we had to ask twice for glasses of water before another waitress decided to bring us some. It was odious and pitiful. I ended up in the bathroom throwing up when it was a couples lunch. Avoid going to this place if you want to eat well. VERY EXPENSIVE, NO PRICE QUALITY.

We waited 39 minutes before getting a table, we were given a table to come and change places without explanation, 20 minutes to get glasses of water, the coffee was not drinkable, and Im not talking to you food!!!! the eggs were crisp, they tasted like plastic, the sausages werent even cooked, the fruit wasnt ripe, only a drop of custard in my waffle which was worse than a sponge. Impeccable service (if you don t want us to bring you your hot lunch and ask you if everything is to your liking). I do not recommend this restaurant.

Portions have decreased enormously and prices have increased enormously! Dont be in a hurry when you go there! Whether to eat in or take out, the wait is endless! I do not recommend AT ALL! 1h15 to receive your meal to take away...

Waited a good 15 minutes before being seated and the restaurant was not crowded. The busboys and busgirls were great. The service on its side is extremely long at least 20 minutes before taking the order and what can we say about receiving it, very disappointing. For the food the chips for my wife were impeccable on my side 2 eggs turned out not burst I had cooked eggs and fry really disappointed I always had to ask for something otherwise we had nothing (coffee, water)

The moron who waits at the entrance for ten minutes while the employees avoid his gaze is the customer. At least it was.

Very disappointed almost 1 hour of waiting for our dish and it was cold dry ham my son his dish must have had an egg turn it was a scrambled egg we went to the toilet my key and my glasses were on the table we came back we had cleared the table and also another person in our place for me it will be the last time

Excellent, I love having breakfast and here I found the perfect brunch for Sundays when you get up late and dont want to cook, although they also open very early (6:00am) for early risers, but yes, they must go before 3:00pm to Dont miss out on their delicious food, highly recommended.

Correct service, dish ordered 2 Bénédictines: Florentine and Lox. Strong point: possibility of adding optional extras. Personally I asked to add variations of my Florentine with mushrooms and Brie cheese. A pleasant thing. Weak points: the English muffin was not fresh and cold for the 2 dishes requested. For the Bénédictine Lox we forgot to add the caramelized onions and chives, given the service which was slow we did not contest to avoid spoiling the weekend outing. Also, I have the impression that the quantity has been much reduced. Overall it was correct, nothing more, nothing less.

I understand that on Sundays the restaurant is very busy but today the service was particularly frustrating. Wait 20 minutes for someone to come take your order and another 40 minutes with no sign of life from our waitress. We had to ask for our famous lunch to be brought because the 1.5 hour wait (with waiting at the door) forced us to leave without eating. When we arrive home, we realize that the eggs are even missing from the plate. $40 later and a whole wait for a few potatoes, overcooked bacon and a completely disappointing customer experience. This isnt the first time Ive been disappointed with your customer service, but this time I had to at least let you know.

I have always appreciated the quality and consistency of the service regardless of the Ben & Florentine branch, but not this one. We went on a Friday lunchtime and the service was very slow. However, the restaurant was not filled to full capacity (around 60%) and there must have been 4 or 5 servers. I think the bottleneck came from the kitchen. The plates were disappointing: scrambled eggs more like a fried egg then cut with a knife, lukewarm eggs benedict with the smallest eggs I have seen. All this may be due to a circumstantial element (absent cook) but lets just say that I wont want to go back.

The ben et florentine in Sorel offers a very slow and poorly coordinated service. We waited an hour or more to be seated at a table and a family of 6 who were already seated waited over an hour and a half to be served. On a Sunday around 11 a.m. Honestly, I wont go back there again.

Worst restaurant ever the last place I would want to go for lunch. Very slow service, coffee that tastes like water, eggs over cooker looked like plastic...they lacked utensils, we had a spoon for 3, sausages that tasted like oil, avocado sure. The toasts arrived at the end of the meal and not what we asked for. It cost too much for what we got!

Mother-in-law Diane is the best cook in Sorel-Tracy!!! It will excite your taste buds and introduce you to new flavors. Dont go see it yourself. With it you will be fulfilled and perhaps reach seventh heaven.

I like that there are a little different options in addition to the traditional options for breakfast and brunch, for example, crispy French toast.

From ordering to having our plates more than 1 hour of waiting, very bad service.

I will never return to your house. First I had to change my plate which was dirty. Then I had coffee rings encrusted inside my cup, plus my cottage cheese was safe and finally I had a hair on my pineapples. In short, I almost vomited. I wouldnt even give this to my dog. I still think about it and my heart lifts. Completely disgusting.

Hello, I am very disappointed with my experience. My partner had a salmon bagel and the salmon was room temperature. Generally fish should be served cold. I had eggs benedict, apples and cheese, my plate arrived 10 minutes after my partners, the apples and cheese were barely warm. No egg because there was a mistake. I find it very disappointing to pay $55 and not have our meals at the same time and the quality of the presentation left something to be desired.

Service much too slow. Its quite insulting to pay this price to receive an omelette with 2-3 pieces of uncooked vegetables, and barely cut (which I had to wait 45 minutes), 10 lunch potatoes and a single piece of orange...my friend ordered a pan that looked more like a soup, in short, I dont recommend it at all. The waiter was nice but other than that, I would have given 0 stars if I could (be careful if you have allergies: I had pieces of food that werent supposed to be in my meal in my omelette )

Very good portion of the plate. Tasty as a meal. However, two of my guests bacon had a few charred slices on the bottom. A few minutes of waiting to get coffee again. Attentive and courteous staff.

First of all, there are 3 of us and only 2 sets of utensils and the one who tells us our place doesnt notice, ok it can happen. Extremely long service before the waitress came to us for the order. I always went to Ben and Florentine for the chocolate-banana crepe, it is now on the menu only with bananas and strawberries, ok I have the strawberries removed but wow what is this crepe, banana too ripe and they forgot to add it as well as the chocolate. The waitress said to me, I find the pancake too thin for my taste, would you like me to make you one again, uhhhh dont ask and do it and I said no, I would like to eat at the same time as everyone world. Our cups are empty for a very long time before having a refill. Sorry but it was my last time at this place

I dont comment on my experiences that much, but I find this restaurant to be underrated. Personally I love this restaurant! Many of the reviews I read are easily resolved with Jess the owner! Even once I asked for a salad without onions and she had it redone because they had added the same! All the dishes I have tried are great! It s true that sometimes the place is very busy and we wait a little more but nothing that justifies less than 4 stars, always in my opinion of course! ^_^ Go go go Jess! We love you!

I always have excellent service. There are some shortcomings in the kitchen on occasion. The atmosphere is excellent except when you find yourself with the table stuck on the toilet. It remains my favorite place for lunch

Over 45 minutes to get our meal. The waiter made us leave after more than 25 minutes as some people in the kitchen had not returned to work and there were 2 new ones to train. Nothing received exactly what I ordered. I had to settle for this plate there. First and last time.

Its long... 12 people waiting at the same time in the entrance seriously its just no.. 2 meters c 2 meters... people enter and leave in the same place in addition to the take outs who enter jostling to enter immediately and turns back to take out the arms full of packages.. The tables are less than a meter apart between us and the neighboring customers.. Review health rules.. And the wait for service is... long and the waitress seems not to be too interested in serving her customers... she walks around, and doesnt seem to mind her business.

Lack of service sometimes

I ask for the dish of 2 toasts with salmon and guacamole, the waitress tells me my avocados are too ripe. I ask to replace the avocado with cheese and I am told that she has to charge me extra because cheese costs more than avocado worst joke I have ever heard in my life and she suggests to eat something else if I dont want to pay extra!!! Is it your fault that there is no guacamole??? Outraged, it was my boyfriend who agreed to pay the extra rather than me just deciding to leave the restaurant, its unheard of and whats more I was treated to an eggshell on my plate, worst service ever! !!!

It was a long time before the waitress came to take our order and it was a long time before we received our dishes. However, our meals were excellent and it is believed that the slow service may have been due to a lack of staff.

It was my favorite lunch restaurant but today Sunday October 10, 2021, it disappointed me a lot. There were missing ingredients on my plate and the guacamole was black which made it look disgusting to eat. Plus the waitress insinuated that it was my fault for having gone to eat there.

It is completely deplorable to see the most poor service this morning. To begin with we were treated to a cold waitress without a smile. No interest in customer satisfaction. At no point did she make sure we enjoyed our lunch, no coffee refills. The service was extremely slow. The quality of my lunch left something to be desired. At my comment about the dissatisfaction with my plate, I was treated to silence. Although the quality of the plates is not up to the waitress, it is her responsibility to ensure that they are presentable and satisfy her customers. Unfortunately I was not treated to restaurant-worthy service this morning.

We went to eat indoors for the first time since the restaurants opened. We were coldly welcomed by our waitress Emily, she never asked us if the meal was to our liking (it was not), never bothered to refill our coffee. We asked her for a smoothie and it seemed like a heavy ask as she cavalierly placed it on the table. My partners meal tasted horrible. It tasted like cardboard, the guacamole was dark for what little there was. About half of the photo portion of the menu was placed on the two toasts. The bacon tasted old, cardboard. We were not able to validate our questions with our waitress, she never showed up, even to pay the bill. An unpleasant experience for the first time in a long time. Restaurant at half capacity and also little service. I wish I could give 0 stars. $50 in the trash.

The meals were good and arrived quickly and therefore hot! I give 3 stars, because they always give completely charred toast every time...

When I call to have an order prepared, I get an answer one time out of 10 on the phone ..

We waited 50 minutes after ordering before receiving our food. I ordered a pan, the potatoes and meat were overcooked and stuck to the bottom. On my partners side, the buckwheat crepe with duck was good, but there was only a wedge of orange and a small ramekin of applesauce for fruit. The sausages and bacon were completely charred. The waiters didnt come to us themselves to explain why it took so long, they had to be asked for explanations. We were told it was exceptional and offered 15% off our bill. We appreciated this attention. Unfortunately, we wont be going back anytime soon...
