Superb restaurant-bar in downtown Sorel where you can enjoy a good Mexican dish with a wide range of options with a good drink. The atmosphere is always pleasant with music and a staff who offers excellent customer service.

A nice special on chicken wings on Cool Mondays

The service is very good but the food is not really to my taste. The squid was very fatty and bathed in a sauce that was not up to standard. As for the atmosphere, the smokers on the terrace next door stayed close and the cigarette smoke accompanied us. I was disappointed.

The location is good, but the rest really leaves something to be desired. Very long service, more than 1 hour 15 minutes of waiting and mediocre food... Soggy salad, probably reheated rice, ordinary quasadillas and generic burger.... Parking: Town parking within walking distance

Food not very good, I had indigestion after eating the pizza and fries... the waitress came to clear it up without asking me if I had finished.

Disgusting food! Nothing Mexican about it. Old El Paso is better than this! Tacos filled with lettuce and jalapenos, super spicy beef mix, dry chicken and not good rice. Friendly and understanding waitress, but the young people who bring and collect the dishes are stupid and rude. Plus, its expensive to eat so badly. So many restaurateurs give their heart and soul for their customers. Dont encourage this one!

Place where on Sunday the terrace is used by several people. Varied dishes without being exquisite, service followed by a few smiles from the employees.

A good meal!

Nice place, efficient and smiling waitress but in terms of cooking it was not great at all. The portions of fries in our respective meals were overcooked and tasted burnt, the onion rings were soaked in a liquid that looked like honey and on the other hand there was a kind of mayo. Dipped in it would probably be good but the result was that the dough on the rounds was soft because it was so soaked in the oil, honey and mayo. Main meals lacked flavor. For my part I will not go back there.

Good evening everyone, I wanted to tell you about our beautiful evening for me and my daughter at the restaurant Le cactus de sorel Nice aperitif, starter nothing to complain about but here comes the main course: fried empanadas.....you quickly understand by looking at the plate that the frying oil has not been changed since Saint Johns Day, and the empanadas, cold defrosted limit You can imagine that the dish remains as it was on the plate and that on the first visit of the waitress we inform her of the dissatisfaction....not wishing to have the dish redone we expect a commercial gesture on the invoice......and well no the bill arrived with the full charge for the dish Beautiful merchant mentality Mr. Cactus Then the cactus will never be again

The food is good, the atmosphere is how I like restaurants the restaurant must have lived the boards which crack the decoration which is very beautiful the food which is very good and correct for the price the service and the staff very courteous. Dont change your recipe, its superb. Well done

The spicy fries were super good especially with their little homemade dill sauce accompanied by a good Budweiser! It was a great afternoon cheering on my friend Sammi and watching her mix drinks as a bartender! Excellent customer service! Definitely come back to taste the other starters or meals on the menu! Good food, good atmosphere and good service. More choice of Mexican meals would be very pleasant and would justify the description of the website. Also some hotter sauce wouldnt hurt. The Risqué sauce is mild Buffalo at best.

Waiting 2:00 to have our meal with the children, finally we left without eating.

I had the Mexican pizza and home fries. Delicious, really. The service always impeccable, waitress really nice and fast. I highly recommend. Besides, Im going back again this week because I wasnt able to taste everything I wanted. Enjoy your meal everyone, you wont be disappointed because Ive been eating at this restaurant for over 15 years!!!!

Table dhôte, soup served without biscuits or grissol or bread, plate of salmon served without rice or potatoes just a small salad, I remained satisfied with my appetite, service not too fast, not really liked it.

The pizzas are very good and the staff are friendly. On the other hand, there was a very noisy table, very very noisy. Apparently the owner was at this table, and he was talking very loudly. I wont go back there.

Disappointing fast food. Mexican food that has nothing to do with authentic Mexican cuisine. Sauce and store-bought Guacamole.

Extremely disappointed. I ordered the sparkling steak served with rice. Despite the exotic sound of the dishs name, it is actually a steak ball served with Uncle Bens Quick Rice. Perhaps we should thank the authors of the menu for mentioning that the sparkling steak came with cooked mushrooms and onions, otherwise we would have only had a steak ball with rice. Would it have been reasonably priced for such a mediocre dish you could have a pleasant evening due to the good service and atmosphere, but $30 for a steak ball with rice is just shameful . Avoided!

Very noisy. Health distancing measures quickly came to an end when it started to rain. I wasnt impressed. The food is ok. Chicken nachos with overcooked and tough chicken.

Summary of my visit to the Cactus Café, the dishes are still good, the menu has evolved over the last 20 years (this restaurant was my favorite during my CEGEP studies). The Mario burger was my choice. Chicken wings remain a must at this restaurant.

Beautiful warm place, generous plate. The fries are delicious! The chicken is incredibly tender! I recommend this place.

Super good, the food is succulent, the service from all the ladies is a real charm. For my first 5 to 7 in Sorel, this little restaurant bar 8 minutes from the ferry on foot is a real charm, Ill come back any time.

Friendly place at very reasonable prices. Large terrace. Courteous service. I just didnt fancy their regular all dressed pizza. I actually just found that there was too much filling and the cheese in the center wasnt even completely melted. I would still go back.
