After 20 min waiting to be attended by a hostess (with hostess walking by us without not even a “good afternoon please give me a minute”)we ordered a delicious burger with a very nice view and a cold beer,the order was taken by a very cold lack of sympathy staff, and then the rush to make us pay Out of 3 members of the staff that attended us, just a very nice guy came up to check if everything was fine Recommendations: check the mood of the staff to see if everything is fine with then Btw,is not that the place was packed,so I can just imagine in a very busy day 🤪
We ate here for an early dinner/late lunch on August 5th after a day at a local spa. The ambiance and view is worth the stop. We had the shrimp poke bowl and the fish and chips. The fish and chips was pretty good and for once it was all fish and crispy batter. The shrimp poke bowl was filling and everything was fresh and tasty except the rice... it tasted like instant rice that wasn't cooked the whole way through. All in all a nice meal but for $60 with the tip, better options could be available. We would return for the view and to try other menu items.
It’s our second time in the restaurant. Beautiful for sunset dinner especially when you’re sitting at their terrace. Prices are reasonable.
Everything was fantastic! Beautiful view and has the best sunsets, unfortunately weather did not permit for a souper on the terrace. But would drive back just to experience it.

We came here in a Friday night for supper. We came in and there was room to sit without needing a reservation. There were a few empty tables and there was a group on the other side of the room. We sat near the window and received the menu. We ordered drinks, water, an entrée, and our meals. Our verdict: The two cocktails we took were pretty good. We took the watch and the pink lemonade. The drinks were not strong not were they over watered, they were just good. The water was only brought once at the beginning and never refilled during our meal. The entrée was good, we took the Halloumi cheese stick with salsa. This entrée wasn't brought by our waitress but by another young woman. The main meals were maple tuna and chicken strips in a burger. Both meals were without a negative remark, they were delicious and the proportions were very good. The meals were brought by another gentleman and not our waitress. When we finished, since we waited a few minutes without her coming back, we just got up and went to the cash. Conclusion: the food and drinks are great, but the service can be improved. The waitress wasn't really paying attention to us. She took a while before taking our initial order of the drinks and entrée, didn't come back for water refills, to take away the cocktail drinks after we finished them ( before the main meal), didn't check if the entrée or the food was good or if we needed anything ( after the food was given).
I looked at the reviews very positive. Lots of parking in front of the restaurant it’s a yacht club as well and there’s a hotel there as well. We went for dinner here it’s a very busy restaurant very loud waitresses rushing around they did advise to make a reservation so we did but we noticed that a lot of people arrived with non and they were able to accommodate them a big outside terrace and lots of seating inside. Service was rushed a lot was very surprised by that as the reviews were saying the opposite so we ordered wine a glass each as it was still very warm and went for the steak the waitress advised my partner in French and me in English that l make my plate I’m like ok. Food came quickly and we both looked surprised as the steak wasn’t medium rare so were like oh the waitress meant to have advised is that we cook the steak ourselves the funny thing is that when it’s 38C the last thing you want is more heat all in all the experience was fun steak with vegetables and fries was good cooked ourselves the experience was ok the view great.

We were there on a Monday evening, it was quiet, few people, no music, soft and pleasant light... paradise!!! No need to shout to discuss, the food was very good, beautiful plates and no migraine when leaving, to do again!!!

Incredible service from all the staff. We hadnt been able to speak to anyone about a reservation, but we went anyway. Full restaurant, but they went out of their way to accommodate us. Extraordinary service, a succulent meal and a magnificent view of the sunset and the river. Leaving the North Shore of Mtl was worth it! I love eating it but getting served is a bit long especially when you go there alone on the kitchen side you should add more filet mignon dishes, lamb chops

I had the Nabulai Beef tartare as a rice bowl and it was great. Very good texture with just enough size/hotness to keep your tastebuds engauged. It was my second time here and I will certainly be coming back on my next trip. Note: If you have arachnophobia I wouldnt recommend sitting outside as there were lots of pinkie nail sized 8-legged friends hanging about but they didnt bother me and seemed hospitable enough.
Great restaurant! We booked for our wedding anniversary and we dont regret it at all! The waitress was great! The food was very good! We got a bottle of sparkling wine from the restaurant and even the manager came to say happy birthday! 10/10!

A good dinner in a great atmosphere!
Simply excellent. Whether it was starters, main meals or desserts, everything was perfect. Favorite for their specialty which is stone cooking (tuna) as well as for their fried maple ice cream. Plus the view of the river is superb.

I had dinner at Belvedere and my starter of chicken wings was still frozen in the center and then as a main course I had a burger. I was very disappointed to see that the meatballs were frozen meatballs, especially when you pay $29 for a burger and fries.

A fabulous experience for a romantic evening. The waitress we had had a personalized approach and gave advice on the dishes ordered as well as the drinks. My only regret is that the terrace was not opened despite the good temperature.
My recent lunch at Le Belvédère was a delightful experience from start to finish. The food was simply outstanding the blue cheese burger was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor, and paired perfectly with our cocktails. The atmosphere of the restaurant was welcoming and comfortable, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing meal. However, what truly set Le Belvédère apart was the exceptional service. Our waiter went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Not only was he attentive and friendly, but he also went out of his way to help us call a cab, speaking French on our behalf since none of us were fluent. This level of dedication and assistance was deeply appreciated and made our visit to Le Belvédère truly memorable. I highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious food, excellent cocktails, and outstanding service. It s a must-visit when staying at the marina in Sorel-Tracy /Parc Nautique de Sorel-Tracy!
Je suis allée déjeuner avec une amie un vendredi matin vers 9h00 am. Il ny avait presque pas dattente. La vue était splendide. Jai pris un déjeuner santé au coût denviron 16$ + tip environ 20$. Cétait vraiment raisonnable. La serveuse était amicale et le service a été efficace. Il ny a pas une tonne de choix, mais cétait une belle expérience :)

Not my first visit, not my last either. This time we tasted the soup of the day; red cabbage and apple. Delicious. As well as the haloumi wrap, delicious (and vegetarian!), and the beef cheek (rather disappointing because of a blatant lack of seasoning and/or sauce). Magnificent view, as usual. Charming little restaurant at the Sorel marina (it is better to reserve). It s elevated and all glass, so the view is great! We had to wait a good 30 minutes before getting our meals, but the food was very good!

This is our 2nd visit. Valérie, our waitress is warm, jovial and very sociable. We ordered the grilled flank steak which was tender and delicious. I like the view of the river. I highly recommend Le Belvédère
I had dinner with my lover and I can tell you that everything was excellent. The atmosphere and welcome were perfect. Our waitress was very kind. We will see this again soon, that s for sure.

A sure value, this Belvedere! In winter as in summer, at sunset, there is no better place on the River. Our waitress has worked there for a long time and is so friendly. The beef rotini and fruit linguini are not to be missed. The squid too, the frying is delicate, really delicious.

Very nice view, its a nice place to go for dinner, but rather ordinary for dinner. Pressured repeatedly to tell us our time that we need to leave Requests were not taken into account when booking online and it was for a 40th wedding anniversary. All in all, a lovely evening but it depends on your expectations. Parking: Very good, very large, nothing to say about parking.
If I would have wanted to go to a show, I would have bought show tickets, impossible to talk about a music group starting at 6 p.m. so loud stupid couldnt even talk about it, I completely advise against this restaurant

I ordered eggs benedict: The eggs arrived poached hard, the sauce was static (and only tasted like butter), the bread was soft and soaked. As for the potatoes, they were cold. The grapes that garnished the plate? Tights and unwashed! All for $17 There were 5 of us at the table with different dishes and the same experience! Even the toast was cold!!

The location, food and service is exceptional! The dishes are well presented and of high quality, the view of the water is wonderful and the lunches really surprised me, I always make the detour when I pass by Sorel. In summer, the terrace is a must.

We were a group of 3 people and decided to come and eat at the Belvédère restaurant. It was around 3 p.m. when we arrived and there were few customers. (around 10 people). We are assigned a table and wait for our waitress. She arrives 30 minutes later, apologizing for the delay and takes our orders in a less than cheerful tone. We waited 1 hour before receiving our dishes. The dishes arrived cold and there were errors in the orders. The condiments on one dish had been spilled on the floor by the waitress and were not replaced. The waitress never came to see us during the meal. The water glasses were never refilled. We asked for the bills and waited 15 minutes. The waitress was talking with another employee. We finally got up to go pay at the counter. We stayed 2 hours for 2 nachos and a hamburger. Unfriendly and very slow service. However, the terrace offers an excellent view. For our first visit, we were disappointed and didnt think we would return.
I went there twice but I mainly remember an extraordinary service for brunch on Christmas Day, the waitress whose name I forgot was perfect.

We had been for breakfast a few years ago and then returned twice recently. We are still just as satisfied at least for lunch. The atmosphere is good, the service is courteous and respectful. Obviously, the food is excellent for us and the portions are just right. We dont feel like were eating too much, but we also feel like were getting enough. The small lunch potatoes sometimes a 5/5 others 4/5; must be according to the chef in the kitchen. We are all very satisfied and... of course, to be able to see the river... what more can I say. We only had lunch, now we have to move around for the other meals of the day.. In closing, we would like to thank Valérie, who always gives us very good service. A chefs salad with grilled chicken, thats not what I was served, I had a salad with a little shredded chicken...it wasnt worth $20, my daughters friend took General Tao chicken , very disappointing, we wont go back, thats for sure... out of 5 people everyone was disappointed.
I gave it 4 stars but after returning in July 2023, I am increasing it to 5. We loved our experience. Very good food and very good service. The stone-grilled steak was so tender!

My warm thanks to the two young people at reception: thanks to their unpleasant welcome and their deplorable management of reservations, we turned around and discovered an excellent restaurant which received us very kindly, La Fougasse in Sorel.

Prime location, excellent service. The food, particularly the seafood, is fresh and delicious, the tuna tataki is worth the detour and the fried squid is exceptional, the prices are very reasonable, I suggest you go there, at least I will go back.

Disappointed Me and my partner went there with the aim of having a nice, pleasant evening. We ordered the charcuterie platter and fried calamari as starters. The calamari was good, but unfortunately we received moldy brie cheese (blue exterior). The pecans and ham that also came in the platter were borderline rancid. We notified the waitress of this and she replaced the cheese on the platter for a past date limit. For main courses we each had a beef tartare. The Diablo was barely spicy and the bacon cheddar one was dripping with oil. The chips that came with it were rancid and bad tasting. Positive point: as the food was disappointing they did not ask us to pay Other than food; the view is sublime, the service is correct (depends on the person serving you), the atmosphere is good and more generally it is a beautiful place Vegetarian options: Burger with plant-based meatball
