We loved this restaurant following our impromptu visit last Saturday, September 28, 2024. Everything was PERFECT and beyond our expectations - The welcome, the menu, the table dhôte choices, the food and drinks and impeccable service from our waitress, Alicia, as well as the entire team! The atmosphere is great and the cleanliness and organization are excellent. Well done to Le Fougasse and we will absolutely return when we are back in your area again.

Very nice atmosphere, impeccable service, excellent tomahawk menu but the risotto plate with 3 mushrooms and duck was a complete failure. But where is the duck and the mushrooms? gone together to the Sorel Islands?

Fougasse is the place where you want to go out. The restaurant is very beautiful and the atmosphere is lively. It moves! The service is efficient with all the staff on site, they are all very dedicated to their tasks. Well done! The menu is interesting but the prices are exorbitant, in addition to the portions which are quite small, for example the starter of 2 tacos for $19 for two small, barely garnished tortillas, or 5 tiny bites of crab cake for the same price. I must point out that the cooking of the meats is excellent in addition to the presence of several local products. The bar service is great. I gave Fougasse several chances but their dishes are missing something that means I recommend the restaurant for the atmosphere rather than the food. Too bad for a restaurant anyway. The wine list is really impressive, wow, but the choice of wines by the glass is rather basic and classic in addition to being expensive.

The food was very good from starters to main courses and Marie-Ève gave us very good service.

We went to this restaurant by chance after having been to the spa for pure relaxation. Very nice place and our waitress was very nice. Everything was very good taco and oyster starter main course flank steak and salmon tartare I asked for a mocktail without too much acidity and it was perfect. THANKS

Superb restaurant. Delicious and original. Great experience. Except for one employee who seemed like she didnt want to be there. The creamy pulled pork risotto was succulent and the soup was full of flavor.

Two experiences... one with friends and one with my girlfriend....The food is very good...the service is very good BUT.....the atmosphere is much too noisy, impossible to talk to each other us without having to shout. It looks like a sugar shack where you can come in poorly dressed with your construction boots. Tinnitus guaranteed for a few days!! Its a real shame because the setting is very pretty. Proper attire for customers would be desirable.

Im sure the cuisine is poorly represented by the burger I had. Firstly, its not a burger that is worth $25, 15-18 would be more its target. He doesnt have that presentation or that presence. What saves the rating is the service and the atmosphere that reigned and the beauty of the site. The soup at the starter was good.

I havent eaten at this place. I went there to buy a gift card. The restaurant was not open for the meal but I was told to stop by anyway. The person who received me didnt know what to do and called another person to help so that I could leave with the certificate. Not living in Sorel and wanting to offer this gift to people in Sorel the same day, she did everything to help me and with a smile. Thank you, you have made people happy who will be very happy to go to your magnificent restaurant. It is really nice. I hope I get the chance to try it one of these days!

Le nouveau décor est très beau. La nourriture toujours aussi bonne. Jai beaucoup apprécié la petite assiette rectangulaire pour déposer nos ustensiles au lieu de les mettre direct sur la table. Returning to Fougasse in 2023 with the new decor, the character of the old one has disappeared but it remains a very beautiful place. The atmosphere is great, the food is always excellent and our server Gabriel was a real 10/10, never far away to answer our questions or refill our glasses of water. I recommend it!

We made a reservation for 9:30 p.m. We are called to confirm. We show up in advance and are told that the kitchen is closed.. due to lack of electricity.. and they dont call us.. honestly its not considering the customer.

I went with my boyfriends family and it was delicious. We had a long wait, thats why I put 4 . I took the (BROCCOLI RISOTTO) its wonderful, but as Im someone who doesnt like crispy rice I didnt like that part.

Very nice experience, my meal was excellent, my flank steak was perfect for cooking and the meat was succulent. Then the courteous and fast service despite the crowds and the rush of the holiday season I never felt rushed with the addition of a charming waitress. And excellent customer service to the waitress for serving us well and a very nice compliment to the chef! Thank you! I returned this past Tuesday August 27 with our Breton friend who comes from France and found that everything they ate was excellent! And with a girl friend we celebrated her birthday party! WoWww it was excellent and a very nice compliment once again to the Chef and thank you to the waitress Anabel Montplaisir for serving us, very attentive and impeccable service!! Thank you

EXCELLENT!! Impeccable service from reception to bill. Impressive wine list for all budgets. Tasty dishes with perfect portions, divinely tangy and served to perfection. A small downside to this beautiful painting, even if the music is ambient, it is a little too loud. Calculate more or less $100 per person if you choose à la carte for a complete dinner (including wine) for an almost perfect evening.
