Very nice place

Honestly one of the best widow steaks I have ever tasted. As a starter I ordered a fried squid entree and it was delicious. With its little rosé mayo and a good blue moon beer at Barril I have already been at least 3 times and all three times I had an excellent experience. I liked that the dishes are served with seasonal vegetables. Main course The flank steak with pepper sauce and cooked medium. With red wine we ended up buying a bottle The fries look like they are cut and boiled before frying, so very crispy and very tender inside, a crazy thing. Very happy.

Tested on a weekday lunchtime, very good value for money but dont expect great cuisine, long waiting time, nice setting, nice server too. Terrace also available but no umbrellas everywhere. An interesting address for Sorel when you know what to expect.

We were on the road and stopped at another restaurant where we were ignored so we left and discovered this beautiful terrace on the other side of the street! Wow! The waiter was a little on edge so a bit of a wait but the food was so incredible and the atmosphere was perfect, a little band accompanied us during the meal! Great discovery thank you

Extraordinary service from Laurence, the penne Alfredo and chicken really succulent. The fish and chips are really very good with their light breading. Being in the area by boat, it is not easy to find a place to eat that accepts our dog. Yesterday, it was an extraordinary service and a really very friendly welcome. Many thanks and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Honestly a great restaurant, with good quality products, cooked in a simple and refined way. An affordable price, a relaxed atmosphere. The service is no frills, pleasant and courteous. We had a good time.

Super friendly and smiling staff. We came with my 18 month old son and they were able to accommodate. The waitress was super nice and helped us with our child. Fast service and delicious food. Portions are good. I took away a star because we had ants (3) on the table... Its the season and its difficult to get rid of this nuisance and I understand but hey, its just not nice to see an ants on the table where you eat. (The restaurant was very clean though. They say you can judge an establishment by its toilets and they were spotless.)

There were 4 of us eating a good steak and fries on Tuesday May 21, 2024. My cooking was not correct so the waiter (history teacher) brought me a full plate for free. He was really friendly throughout dinner. Thank you Tire-Bouchon, we will definitely come back!!!

So good. Vrm satisfied. We will come back. Beautiful atmosphere upon entering, several places available, even outside in summer. What a beautiful setting. Took as a starter fried onions, a bowl for two and we had some left . filet mignon with red wine sauce, duck and goat cheese salad . DELICIOUS place. Toilet on the 2nd floor. There was an ice rink path in front of the restaurant. Had I known I would have brought my skates. Favorite restaurant.

It was my first time and I would definitely come back! I was invited to my fiancés cousins birthday party! The place, the atmosphere was superb! And the dishes are so delicious! I love the grilled Caesar salad starter! And I cant wait to come back to try the other plates!

I honestly dont know where to start. The food was OK, but at the price I paid it was not acceptable to eat a tasteless filet mignon. We were there for a work dinner and honestly we received more than mediocre service. We were told no for water and had to ask another server, the waiting time reached 30 minutes for the first drinks and 2h30 for the food (which did not all arrive at the same time even after 2:30 a.m., some were only able to eat at 9:45 p.m. while we were there at 6 p.m. and orders were placed around 6:15 p.m. (6:30 p.m.). Obviously after all that, our reflex was not to give a lot of tip, so we gave a meager 5% (at the same time given the service it was already generous) which amounted to more than $200 for the whole world and we were accosted by waiters who threatened us, telling us that we had to tip more because they didnt have enough to live on. I was told by the guy at the bar that they were $9/hour before taxes. I refused to pay more, but some employees decided to help them and gave 20% to 25% (some of them were 14-15 years old and made minimum wage). Ive never experienced anything like this and honestly its sad that employees arent paid enough to live on to the point that they have to ALMOST THREATEN customers to pay more. Let me tell you that the atmosphere was pretty spoiled at that moment. I hope that the manager of Les Tire-Bouchons will dare to answer because I would be curious about the defense. Paying $9/hour in the world of 2023 is far from acceptable, take action, CANCEL your reservation and dont experience this, its time for managers to stop EXPLOITING people with paying like that. If the management of Les Tire-Bouchons does not respond to this comment, in my opinion this adds another element in the poor treatment of customers.

Excellent service. The simple menu (not unnecessarily overloaded, lets say, only interesting dishes). Well-presented plates, tasty food. I dont really drink alcohol, but the wine and spirits list looks interesting. Impeccable service and welcome. Superb atmosphere. In short, a great discovery in the region!

Beautiful terrace and good food. The menu is limited due to lack of staff but it is better to execute a smaller menu well than to lose control in one that is too big! I will definitely return.

Nice place, unpretentious, but really very noisy. The food is ok with no surprises, neither good nor bad. There arent 50 places to eat in Sorel, Tire-Bouchon is one of them.

Beautiful, friendly little bistro with a beautiful terrace. The menu is well varied and the staff is very friendly. We return there regularly, not only because the choice of restaurants in Sorel is very limited but because the atmosphere is pleasant.

Bouffe est dégueux et vraiment trop cher je ny retournerai plus jamais. Cest ridicule, javais prit le Burger tire-bouchon, le fromage est fondu sur la boulette, ce qui est bien, mais servie avec une sauce Bbq genre club-house dedans et il y en avait vraiment trop. Faite une sorte de mayo mixé avec la sauce Bbq à la place ça vas être meilleur.

I went there on a weekday for dinner for the first time. Although there were only 2 or 3 other tables the service was horrible and it was very expensive to pay for bad food.

We passed on a weekday evening in the middle of summer (probably a Tuesday) and you were closed even though on Google map everything indicates that you are open from Tuesday to Saturday. Everything was of course closed. I called last week to reserve a table (a Tuesday), I came across your voicemail, I left a detailed message, with no return call. I called back today (again a Tuesday) same story, while your site clearly announces that you are open and the voice of the young lady on your answering machine also tells us that you are open!!! SURPRISE... after 1 hour of driving we arrived in front of a closed restaurant. Thank you for introducing us to LE FOUGASSE or corner of the street, a superb experience.

25 minutes to wait, the waitresses answered the tables that arrived after us, but never came to see us. Nobody served us. We left! Lots of people enter without disinfecting their hands and walk from one table to another! The rules are absolutely not respected.
