We enjoyed our meals, they were large portions and good tasting! The service was extremely friendly (Lola youre a hoot!) And weenjoyed the low music and no TV atmosphere. Kid-friendliness: Waitress was friendly to our boys and paid attention to them, which I appreciated.

Spent over $45 today on 2 breakfast take-out orders. ALL of it was unedible! The bacon and potato cubes were Way over cooked (the bacon was like chew toys for a dog), the eggs were dry and rubbery. It all went in the garbage, Never going back there! I knew I should have gone to Smittys :(

Ive been having breakfast here multiple times every week for several years, and Ive tried several differnt items from the menu. In my experience, the service has always been friendly, fast, and professional, and the food has always been great. I highly recommend this location, and Ive said so to quite a few friends. There are quite a few regular customers here who keep coming back, and that in itself shows that they are consistently satisfied.

Beautiful family restaurant with all-day breakfast in Spruce Grove. Had lots of cost-friendly options for food and drinks, it was easy to decide what I wanted. I went with the California eggs Benedict, and my partner went for the pancake breakfast - all of which were delicious. Service was fast, and they were polite. It was difficult to catch their attention after I was seated, but it was also very busy. I would recommend this restaurant for a nice, simple breakfast/lunch spot.

Ordered 6 over easy and rye toast. Eggs showed up it looked like a cake. They were way over easy more like hard and the toast had waaayyyyy to much butter. Buddy beside me had 3 over easy and they were perfect. Mine terrible. Very disappointed. Pretty hard to screw up eggs that bad. Update April 30th 2024. Went back today and let the waitress know that i didnt want a cake and that i wanted over easy and no butter on my toast. Gave them a chance to redeem themselves. Toast had no butter and the eggs came out cooked 3 together. I suppose the eggs were close to over easy. Didnt realize they charge a tip on your bill automatically until today. Service was worse today as well. For a breakfast place they have lots of room for improvement. I wouldnt recommend this place to anybody. Theres lots of other places in Spruce Grove and surrounding area that serve a much better breakfast for example Rickys Sports Bar and Grill.

Ordered eggs Benedict and chunky hashbrowns. Onions were put on the Benedict that were not cooked at all, cold hard crunchy chunks of onion. The hashbowns were not cooked through at all. Service was terribly slow. We did not tip, and instead of asking why, the waitress slammed the receipt down and left without saying a word.

Food and service are pretty good. The main issue is that they have serving staff double as cleaning people. Our waitress had to go clean the washroom after our food was served. Management should hire a cleaning person and let the serving staff serve. The staff were friendly but I will not be coming back.

Update: have gone here again, and have had much better experience. Little slow, but the food was hot and good. Which really is the important part. We came here as it was something new and the reviews seemed good. Were seated quickly, and our order of drinks was taken and delivered quickly. And then our server was never heard from again. We sat for 15 minutes waiting for a server, ANY server to take our meal order. To add salt to the wound i watched others be seated and have their orders taken AFTER US. Finally after 20-30 minutes we just got up and went to to the counter to pay for our drinks as obviously thats all we are getting today, and we couldnt even flag anyone down for a bill at our table. When we first came in there were only a handful of tables, and when we left it was packed. Hopefully those people receive better treatment then us.

Absolutely disgusting. Quite possibly the worst breakfast Ive ever had. The home fries were soggy, the hollandaise tastes like condensed soup, and the pancakes were dry. Avoid this place at all costs.

Food is good here but service can be slow and now if you are a group of 6 or more they force you to pay 15% tip regardless of the service. We are a family of 7 I have 5 children under 15 and now I have no choice in how I tip. It s frustrating when we are all ready dealing with inflation and we now get told that our food is 15% more expensive and service is what it is.

What an absolutely fantastic Hidden Gem of spruce grove. Ive dined at this restaurant now for a little while and every time I come in the staff is friendly to greet, the food is always fantastic and one of the few places that offers a gluten-free French toast! The portions are large and the price is fantastic. If I were taking somebody out for breakfast this is definitely my first choice. Keep up the great work team love the food, love the staff love the restaurant. We came here directly from an extremely awful experience at Tutti Fruity. The service was immediate, our order was taken within enough time to examine the menu while enjoying our drinks. The food came out quickly, hot and avail delicious! Justin down below just likes to complain. Great service, awesomely food, good prices! Will definitely be returning!

My wife and I go here all the time, and have always enjoyed being served by the always cheerful, friendly, and pleasant lady named Tami. She deserves EVERYONES respect, as she works very hard at her job. A lot of the other waitresses dont seem to be as happy on their jobs as Tami is. Parking: Good parking.

A server offered to seat us, but never returned. A second server started seating other guests. After three goups had been seated before us we left.

This place has great staff and delicious food...this is apparent due to the fact I have been here on a few different occasions and always have to wait for a table...the wait isnt usually too long and they seem to get quality food out quickly which results in fast table turnover...I highly recommend this place for some great breakfast at a reasonable price.

Came here on the long weekend and ordered the Sunset Breakfast Poutine. The potatoes had no flavor or texture and the onions were completely raw. The coffee was weak. The service wasnt good as we waited about 5 minutes before we were even greeted when we walked in. The waitress was complaining the entire time how crazy busy it was and how unorganized everything is. She told my husband and I to come back on a different day and things would be better. Overall, it didnt leave me wanting to come back. Youre better to spend your money at a different restaurant where the service is better and the food isnt bland.

We wanted to finally try out Sunset Grill about a month ago. We walked in and waited a good 15 min... finally got seated (had to grab our own menus on the way to the table as the waitress did not take any when she walked past). Waited again... people who came in after us and were seated after us started to get waited on, no one even came to take a drink order. So we got up and left and will never be back. Edit - 2023. We have since tried Sunset Grill a couple more times. Service has been amazing and the food has been good. Both times I have been back, Tami has been our server. She is fantastic! She always jokes around and interacts with our daughter. Give her a raise!

I very bad experience today. My husband ordered three eggs with sirloin steak , the sirloin steak was spoiled, We told to the server and it was changed. I orderes eggs florentine, the cube potates overcook , mushy, I let the server know(20%discount). After this I paid $55dlrs, I was having a nice day until Decide to get lunch there, I finish with a bad mood, nausea and it cost me $55 . About the three eggs with sirloin steak dish , we was told that the meat box went to thr garbage, they didnt offer any disccount for that inconvenience ,

Sunset has quickly become our family favourite. All of the staff are super friendly and attentive. The food has been consistently delicious and the portions are a great value which is a rarity these days. You re never waiting long despite the place usually being quite full on weekends. Kid-friendliness: They always have colouring pages, crayons for the table and they ve got some treats at the front for kids on the way out!

We stopped in for a late breakfast, and we were so hungry that I didnt even think about taking photos until it was too late. I ordered avocado toast, and it was DELICIOUS, but Im not going to lie - I was shocked that there was only one slice and not two. Im sure glad that I ordered bacon as well, otherwise I wouldve left unsatisfied. Hubby ordered corned beef hash, and he got a hefty portion. Good food, friendly staff, and its obvious that a lot of the other patrons were regulars based on the easy comraderie.

Today Nov 11 2023 My daughter and 2 grandsons when here to eat after the Remembrance celebration in Spruce Grove. It was very busy and stthood in a line up inside the door ,it didnt take very long when we were seated . The waitress bought us drinks right way . As we waited for our order I noticed that they had lots of staff and everyone looked like they knew their positions, well organized. Every time a staff member pass by they Smiled . Hats off to great services and excellent food . Thank you we will visit again .

This place can get very busy so be prepared to be jammed in between tables with minimal room to move your chair. However, food wise, they actually have improved over the past year and they are very accommodating to menu changes. They also offer turkey bacon which is a huge plus for me considering very few breakfast places do. The staff are also so pleasant and I have enjoyed getting to know the lovely ladies that work there.

The service was top-notch. Our waitress was very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. Thank you very much for the perfectly cooked steak. Delicious. We will be visiting again next time were in town from Calgary.

First time visit , had a great meal

This was likely the worst breakfast I ve ever eaten. I ordered the eggs Benedict and the hollandaise sauce was cold, like really cold. The home fries were so tasteless and my kid thought it was just boiled potatoes. Even the presentation was awful. The eggs had fallen off of the English muffin and were just rolling around getting cold hollandaise sauce everywhere when the plate got to us. The 2 stars given are because the server, Tammy, was wonderful. If I was rating just the food, it would have been zero.

I initially wrote a bad review about this restaurant, as my friend and I were seated, and never got served anything, as they had forgotten about us. I still wanted to give it another go, as my friend wanted to leave at the time right as I was talking to the servers after not getting anything for just under 20 mins last week. I figured it might of been a mistake. I was pleasantly surprised with the level of customer service that was provided to me today. Tammy one of the waitresses here made me feel very welcome, and I really enjoyed my visit with her. She changed mind about this restaurant. I find her skills to be exemplary, and I hope that Ill either get her again, or will get someone with the same amount of enthusiasm she has. The food is awesome, and is reasonably priced. I will come here again, and Im glad that I gave it another chance.

I visited for the first time this weekend and I will definitely be back. I tried the new menu item meat lovers breakfast poutine which had no eggs in it which is a bonus for the non egg eating breakfast lovers! This poutine had hollandaise sauce instead of gravy. It was massive, and a great price! Service was very fast and friendly as well.

I was a little upset that they did not serve coffee and baileys because my wife doesn t let me drink it and the only time I can is when I m out and she s not around. The servers are attentive and very nice, we went in on a Sunday and it was fairly busy but still received fast good service. The food was amazing, the eggs were easy over to my liking but the potato serving I got was a little small. The pancakes were good but one of my butters was already opened

Last feels like more of a roadside diner. Our waitress was awesome though, older lady but obviously loved the job. Had jokes, was pleasant, and prompt. Food wasnt bad either.

Wow I m never going back to this place. I have been a regular customer since they were open in our city of spruce grove Alberta. They messed up my food order 5 times before I never asked for refund and today they messed up my order again for the 6th time I asked manager for refund and she told me that I will refund u the money but next time dont order food from sunset grill we are not going to serve u. I was disappointed by her feedback and her behavior towards me she said u guys keep complaining so we are not going to serve you.

We drove across Edmonton a few weeks ago to go here. They are supposed to be open till 2:00. We got there at 1:30 and they had already cleaned the grill and were closing. We wont be going back. I think places need to honor their open times.
