Friendly staff was quick and very competent. Nothing flashy or gimmicky. Just a nice place to have lunch and conversation.

Amazing!!! We ordered Bing s for a work lunch (tired of always getting sandwiches). The food was amazing. People kept saying the chicken balls were the best they ever had. Food arrived hot and the portions were huge!! Thanks again for making our work lunch delicious!! And very far from boring. Also, food made it to St. Albert and was still hot!!

Just wish the menu was more detailed. I order items but then I find it difficult to find the meat in the dish, lots of onion and mini corn.

We went to Bings with relatives we had Chinese food but 2 of our relatives preferred western. Both were excellent, the service superb, we enjoyed it all. Parking: There is lots of room to park but Bings is very popular and sometimes it s hard to find a spot.

My husband had a meal and I only wanted a nice bowl of soup on this rainy day so I ordered their daily soup for $6.50 and it was in a tiny bowl with three chunks of potatoes , little hamburger and the server said they only give one scoop of soup per bowl. Pay almost 7 dollars for one scoop?? What a rip off and the server and others did not care when I brought it to their attention. We love their Chinese food but Will not be back!

I ordered a lunch special (Lemon Chicken and Steamed Rice plus 2 spring rolls. $17.85 plus tip. When I got back to my office I was a bit dismayed because there was a little tiny battered sliced chicken breast and a small scoop of rice. It looked like someones leftovers. Not impressed because this meal wasnt worth $7. I definitely wont be buying lunch there again.

Worst combos anywhere 20$ combo 3 rice noodles and a few tasteless ribs ,packaged soya sauce that is light brown almost water, cheap garbage, Bings has gone down hill cheaping out

By 7:30pm they fail to be courteous. Open till 9pm but they failed to serve properly and seeing the prices rise again and again its better to get take out and save the $4 coffee where it was cold. Thanks for the two cups. See you next year, hopefully you do better.

I wish people always wondered the best chinese food in Spruce Grove and Stony Plain chat read this review. As it sounds crazy, I have tried all of Chinese Restaurant in the last month to find out the best Chinese food in the area. I often do that, so I do not have to research or read reviews which restaurant I should choose. Price : It is a little bit higher than others. However, this is a good thing when it comes to this review. As many restaurant chose a path to degrade their quality or quantity. Or even both. Bing Spruce Grove, quantity or quantity stayed the same throughout the years. Quality : Fresh !! Fresh !! Fresh !! What I have noticed in other restaurant, they use frozen veggies or precooked fried items. As food gets cold, it has stale taste or batter, gotten too hard to chew. Bing Spruce Grove, their veggie were crunch, and all fried items were very enjoyable even after it got cold. Without even having their food, I knew their food had to be fresh. I went there during the weekday lunchtime, and it was packed. You dont often see that in this economy that is not in a big city. Talk about (food) inventory turnovers. Also, the owner is very active and respected in the community as well. Now I am very grateful to find a restaurant not only better than others. The best chinese restaurant in Alberta, in my opinion. I grew up in Richmond, BC, where most population is chinese. Having no choice but to eat chinese food at least 3 times a week. My taste bud in Chinese is very legit!

What a wonderful lunch 3 of us shared today at this centrally located restaurant in Spruce Grove! Our aunt loves the lemon chicken every time she dines here. Our 1st time and we enjoyed the freshness and the Large portions. Thank you Amy, for a delicious lunch. We will be back!

We went here for the first time for my moms birthday dinner. The food was excellent we did not have to wait long for it and we got great service from our handsome waiter. He was attentive had a good attitude and was very accommodating. It was a plus that the staff and even some of the patrons sang happy birthday to my mom on her special day. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal in a cozy restaurant. Kid-friendliness: I have a teenager and the staff treated her with respect and not like a 5 year old as some wait staff tend to do .(at other places )

Omgggg these chicken balls are unreal! Chop suey also has great flavor and the large won ton soup was underestimated. I was not expecting such a large amount of dumplings and the broth is so comforting. Only thing is I wouldve loved some vegetables thrown in as well. What a great restaurant, you will not be disappointed!

We would like to thank Amy and her team once again for organizing our annual company Christmas luncheon. The food always delicious and plenty enough to feed our group of 50. Communication and service was great. We pick up on time and the food was hot and ready to service. We are looking forward to our next company Christmas luncheon! Vegetarian options: Amy made two vegetarian meals for a couple of our staff and they enjoyed them.

We attended the restaurant Sat March 23 and had a wonderful time. The staff were so friendly and attentive. The food and drink were delicious. I had been wanting to try this place for so long and am so glad we finally did. We live outside of St. Albert but will definitely be back. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality. Kid-friendliness: They provided coloring sheets and crayons to our two younger children to keep them entertained and offered a great selection of food and drink on the kids menu.

I ordered over the phone and when I showed up, stood in line, nobody greeted me or said anything but instead one girl bypassed me and served a customer who was just walking in behind me. It took me 5 good minutes waiting before I called on their attention. I was simply profiled for my race

Sadly we had a poor experience at Bings today! Two adults and 5 children ordered 5 plates of various dishes and to our delight the food came out very quickly but was not hot! My older girls said it didnt taste very good either. Their mother was of the same opinion and also said the food wasnt hot only warm at best which is strange. The waitress was very good and Id give her 5 stars no problem. For whatever reason the food was not up to par today. Wont be using the free appetizers card that we received but thanks anyway!

I gotta tell you, I love this place! We always order way too much, because we WANT the leftovers, lol! so YUMMY! Although we often order pick up, dining in at Bings has become a favourite for us. The service is top notch, friendly and attentive! One of the things I love about dining in is the music . . . it isnt blaring or foul. Bings is by for sure the best Asian food in town, and a relaxing casual place to enjoy a meal. Try it, you will be glad you did!

I have been hesitant to try Chinese food since I moved to Alberta. I scoped out many places on Google read a ton of reviews. I came across Bings and made it our choice. It vwas worth drive from Edmonton. Bings is a very nice setting. The staff was exceptionally friendly. The food was the best we had in a long time. Came to the table hot and fresh. Shared one of their dinners for two and spring roll appetizers. There was a lot of food, so it took half of it home. Enough for a second meal. The service was friendly. Food came out fairly quickly. The food was good.

Go often but the veggies had no flavor in the dinner for one. Smaller potion sizes to. Yes did notice. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy in and out and handing cap washroom.

Some of the whitest Chinese food Ive ever had. Food was greasy, salty and not very flavour full. You cant taste the difference between the sweet and sour pork and the Ginger beef. Not horrible but I wont be coming back.

It s fine but not for me. Food was quite salty and all dishes tasted kind of the same. No ginger flavour in the ginger beef, no lemongrass in the lemongrass chicken, no sour in sweet and sour pork. Half an hour after my meal I can still taste the salt. I would bet there s quite a bit of MSG used in the dishes.

We had a fantastic private party at Bings on March 12,2023. They have a nice private room and the food and service were fantastic! Can t say enough good about how well we were treated. Owner Amy Choy made sure everything was perfect! You can t beat Bings - food is always 5 star and service always top notch!

We had our U15 girls volleyball team dinner at Bings after our Saturday play. The private dining room was perfect. We had a delicious buffet, the girls could unwind with a good meal and stories about the day and the parents could recline and visit and unwind as well. The customer service and food were both excellent and we would highly recommend for any teams playing in Spruce Grove.

First time trying. Our daughters favorite food is dumplings so she was nervous to try new ones lol But shes is obsessed, absolutely loves them. Food was good. We ordered take out and when I came to pick up the restaurant was really busy but the young guy working helped me bring all all the food to my vehicle and loaded it in. Has always been my favourite Chinese food in the Edmonton area. Chicken balls actually have a decent amount of chicken in them, their wonton soup is amazing; loaded with wontons and pork, fried rice is good. Nothing fancy, but always a ton of food for a good price!

I just wanted to give a good review, I had a celebration of life on June 24. Bings caterered the event, the food was hot and very delicious. Everyone raved about the food. I delt with Amy on the phone planning the event, she was amazing. I have been coming to Bings for over 25 yrs, the food, service and staff has always been amazing. This is a great place to eat . The servers are quick and friendly. The only complaint from our table was the house salad was only a bunch of lettuce with a couple cherry tomatoes. It could be stepped up a bit. My husband had the double jawbreaker burger (I honestly dont know how he managed to finish it) and said it was good but he thought a bit of garlic aoli would take it to the top level. We have been a customer at Bings Spruce Grove for 33 years. It has gone downhill in recent times. The long time table waitresses are exceptional . When you ask for your Singapore noodles to be extra spicy , the kitchen doesn t do it, same as the curry beef, the just won t make it extra spicy. I use to pick up take out from here and bring it out to the family get togethers but Bings Spruce grove. Won t let you have a pick up time even though you can phone in 1-3 hours earlier, so you can pick up as your cruising by to head west. ( for decades they always did, but not anymore) so we now phone Bings in Stony Plain ask them to place your order for a specified pick up time and it s not a problem at all. So we go only there now.

Went for dinner with friends to share some Chinese food. It was really really good and very reasonably priced. Our server had a great sense of humor and was definitely a professional. The six of us discussed going to Bings for dinner again soon.

Bings has been providing our last day of work meal for our entire staff of 60 employees for several years. The food is delicious, the staff are very helpful and always really accommodating! I recommend Bings as the best Chinese Food Restaurant around!

Every single person commented on how delicious it was and how great of an idea it was to order Bings; we have enough left over for some lunches tomorrow too.
