Found my new favourite Chinese food place! The food was excellent and you can place your order online and pickup or get it delivered.

We went in to celebrate my oldest daughters birthday. Another successful dinner, with family. Never Disappointed!! Vegetarian options: Plenty of options, if youre looking for something and dont see it, ask they have always been eager to help or quickly create something that you want.

The food is very good, well seasoned and they give you a good serving size for what you pay! Ingredients are always fresh. Parking: Available parkingfor dine in and take out customers.

Everything has a different flavor. Does. Does not always taste the same.

First time trying rainbow.. I had dinner for 1 #3.. was amazing.. the ribs are the size of my palm and everything was excellent..

I must admit, been a really long time since I ve been to Rainbow Palace restaurant. I was there a couple of days ago and had breakfast, excellent. And I went the next day and had Chinese food, excellent again.

Had Shanghai noodles and beef with mixed veg. Great service and food. My first time here, won t be my last

Hands down best Chinese food we have ever had from east coast to west coast! Crab rangoons, sweet and sour pork, bbq pork and mixed greens, chicken balls, mushroom fried rice and shrimp chow main ALL 10/10. The shrimp were big and plentiful. Everything was so fresh, hot and flavourful. Everything had its own distinct taste where some Chinese food has all the same sauce. The sweet and sour pork was huge and very saucy. Chicken balls filled and not all batter. The veggies were cooked perfectly. All around excellent food. Our go to Chinese restaurant every time :)

Huge portions n excellent quality

Ive been eating here since I was a little child and their food always was some of the most delicious Chinese/Canadian cuisine Ive ever had. Their ginger beef is wonderful and their hot pots are divine. I have always recommended this place to my friends and they were always please with the food. Great place.

We ordered from Rainbow Palace for my birthday back in October, the food was delicious and we absolutely loved it. Hubby couldnt remember the name of it or I would have put in a review earlier. Now its New Years Eve and we want it again so he dug around to find the name. He is ordering right now, and I am super excited to eat it again. Thanks for the good food!!

Good food

I am new in town and got a recommendation from a good friend to try this pleasant restaurant. And to be honest i was not disappointed, they made a really nice food here. Yang chow fried rice is a bomb! Lemon chicken taste good, tho the chicken breading is kinda thick, but still taste good. Overall, food is OUTSTANDING

Had two combo dinners for take out supper last night. My hubby and I were very impressed with the quality and quantity of food. The price was very reasonable as well. A hidden gem we will order from here again!

My family has been ordering food for take out and dine in from Rainbow palace for decades. Still my favorite place to go for Chinese food.

There was only 2 other tables busy when I went but still the food was fresh and the service was good. Very reasonably priced too.

Ordered Skip the dishes and the food itself was awesome-what we received that is. We ordered a dinner for two plus chowmein and spring rolls. We should have received, fried rice, dry ribs, chop suey and chicken balls plus the chowmein and spring rolls. What we received was fried rice, sweet and sour chicken and fried wontons. I contacted the restaurant directly as I knew that Skip would just offer me a credit and I wanted the food. The restaurant found my order and got my number and address and said it would be delivered within 20-30mins. After about 30th sur and no food, I contacted Skip and they refunded me the money however i really just wanted my supper. So that is why I m giving the restaurant 2 stars. If they had just told me they wouldn t be able to deliver my food, I would have ordered something else.

Rainbow has a big menu and the several dishes Ive tried have been really good. Ill return again as its like an old time moma popa feel. This is a good place. Parking: Plenty of parking here.

you should be able to give zero stars because this place doesn t even deserve a one. Never in my life have i had such a horrible experience trying to order takeout from a restaurant. The girl was rude on the phone right from when she said hello no happiness in her voice at all same thing when i get to the restaurant just glaring at me and no talking expect for my name and how i m paying, just wait until i get to the food part . She is Glaring at me whole time and there was another girl working who was an older lady, the girl from the phone walked past her co worker and and the older lady out of no where said yeah but you can t say anything out loud, really loud i didn t even know the girl from the phone said anything to her that s how quiet she said something to the older lady. obviously about me. for no reason.you d think since she was older she would know better. i m a nice person so even though it s takeout i leave a 10% tip. i get home and they forgot my chicken balls let me mention you can t change more then two items out on your one person combo not choose whatever you want like how it should be and they only have very few options. their fried rice is just rice with soya sauce no veggies and my beef and green and i switched out for my combo didn t even come with beef. and when i went back for the chicken balls there was literally only three. will never be coming back workers are just embarrassing themselves and the restaurant.

This place offered me a credit the last time I dealt with them due to a bad experience which I have documentation of. I asked them to substitute a couple items out of the combo and they refused even after I explained about the credit. The person I spoke to was very rude. Won t ever order here again.

Good amount of food for a great price. Restaurant has been open in Spruce Grove for many years. 3 of us ate with 2 extra side dishes for just over $60.00. Parking: Lots of parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Park on the West side to ac ess the wheelchair ramp.

Best take out that I have had in a long time. Good quality ingredients They give you fresh food the first time and after that, look out. The take out that I got tonight was disgusting. Some old dried up rice with some soya sauce on it. The rest wasnt much better. You just lost a customer and I will spread the word. I took a picture of my food and I will advertise for you.

My husband and I went there for the first time last Friday. Everything was perfect, from the fantastic service we had from Janice (who we thought was the owner) excellent food and cleanliness. We will be back, that is for sure!!!

Definitely is showings its age but I love supporting local owners who continue to price right and make delicious food. Had Chinese food the first time and a Rainbow Burger the second time and both were amazing. Worth going and eating at.

Every since I found rainbow palace i ve been addicted to their food. Their soup is effing amazing, the deep fried wontons are to die for and the spring rolls are delicious plus they are also reasonably priced! I work across the street and I m here at least twice a week. To me they are better than being in Stony Plain I am so glad they re still open during this pandemic so kudos to rainbow palace for the great food!!!

A good old standby for Chinese and western food. Family business. Really enjoy the burgers, homemade soups, and liver. Great service.

Ordered from skip the dishes tonight and sadly every dish we got tonight was very dry, salty, and inedible. We took a few bites from each dish and honestly threw the food out. Very disappointing meal and we will not be back.

Ive tried all the Chinese food restaurants in Spruce Grove and I always go back to Rainbow Palace. Definitely one of the best Chinese food restaurants in Spruce Grove. LOVE the Special Cantonese Chow Mein!! LOVE that the staff are willing to make accommodations/changes to meet individuals needs/wants.

I ordered through skip the dishes today for dinner. Was my first time ordering through your restaurant & I am more than pleased with the food I received. The taste was absolutely delightful. The portion sizes are so generous. I ordered pot stickers, deep fried wontons, and beef & veggies with egg noodles. It was enough food for 3 people without a doubt. Great pricing. Great taste. Great quality. I will definitely order from you guys again!

One of the most filling meals I ve had in so long! I couldn t stop eating because the flavour was so delicious. The pineapple sauce on the chicken balls is heavenly, and the broccoli and beef is cooked to perfection. I will order here again!

I have been here a few times and everytime I have gone, the food is very good! Its always fresh! The service is always very good too, and also a clean place! My friends are always happy too! The prices are also reasonable!

Dont waste your money. Rays wok is the place to go. All the meat dishes were so terribly overcooked that its inedible. Flavors just arent there. For the price you pay... I wouldve expected all better. Worst Chinese Ive ever had.

Was very happy we decided to order here tonight, our usual spot has went down hill and I do not like any of the other places I have tried around spruce and stony! Must say the food is fresh and tastes amazing! They were fast, prices are reasonable and people I dealt with were friendly!!! I didn t have to pay for delivery either which was a bonus! Definitely recommend this place!

This is the only place I ritualistically go for Chinese dining. The staff is super friendly and the service is always fast. The food is not weighed down by cooking oils and flavored perfectly!

Appalling. That s how this experience was 118 dollars - half the food wasn t cooked; half of the food was given to a skip order. The waitress didn t care to come and ask how the food was after it took over an hour for it to get to us when people who showed up 35 minutes after us got their food. Vegetables were uncooked, meat was tough - almost inedible. Not pleased about the service given what so ever. We often would order skip from the Rainbow Palace no longer will we. Food is a 0/5 Service is a 0/5 If I could give no stars I would. I am totally disappointed with this restaurant.

Went here with my dad, his wife and brother .... some of the food was surprisingly good like the stock for the wonton soup had great seafood flavors in it but the reason i chose the dinner with the ginger beef is cause i was a cook for many years and i love it ..... but they used ketchup as a base for the ginger beef so that ruined it....

Used to like getting the combos for one but bought one the other day day and was very unsatisfied they changed theyre chicken fried rice to just freid rice. I will now take my business elsewhere

Service: ok....wasnt too busy in there and they never came around to offer to refill waters. Food: Had Combo 3 for 1. Two pieces of shrimp, which were good. Chicken fried rice was also good, however too many big chunks of chicken in it. The chicken balls I was quite surprised by as there was more chicken than batter, which you dont get often. And then it also came with HUGE pieces of dry ribs. Which tasted good, but someone sprinkled salt on them and they were a bit too salty. I will eat here again. Maybe try the western side of the menu.

Awful service. Wouldn t accept our groupon (which was still good) because groupon kept it on too long like that was our fault. Now we have to contact groupon to get a refund..won t be back

Ordered the special 8 oz. steak dinner med well . .came with salad potatoes and 2 pieces of broccoli. Cut the steak in half to share and it was still bleeding sent it back and than it tasted like burnt caracol . They made another one and it was just as raw. So we left. I talked to owner and she charged me 550 for the salad that comes with the meal. And made it seem like it was my fault that I did not like it or what the steak .she said well we just wasted 2 steaks on us. I was also told that I should of ordered something else . If i wanted something else I would have not ordered the steak dinner . Unbelievable treatment . .

My family has been stopping here since 86 or 87, they have always treated us very well. The egg rolls alone make it worth the tradition.

Pretty bad as far as Chinese goes, about middle of the road for spruce grove. I m giving it a 2/5 because the portions were good for the price we paid. With that being said, the food was as bad as bing s, which is pretty bad in my experience. The chicken chow mein doesn t resemble western chicken chow mein, which was fine as it was the best part of what we ordered. The chicken fried rice was brown, extremely dry And inedible. The ginger beef didn t resemble ginger beef in any sense and had no taste of ginger. Their sweet and sour chicken balls were the standard massive piece of breading but the sweet and sour sauce really wasn t good. Not sure why the Chinese in SG is so lacklustre. If you re stuck in town and really have a hankering for Chinese, go to the mall and get bourbon street grill or from t&t. Save yourself the hassle. At this point I ve tried every Chinese restaurant in town and have never consistently thrown out so much Leftover Chinese before. Super disappointed.
