My family goes here regularly for hot and sour soup and onion cakes, today they brought me some and it was way better and more authentic tasting than other restaurants I had tried in Edmonton.

almond chicken was ok, spare ribs was all bone and grisl, sweet & sour pork was all fat, noodles were not cooked enough, overly not good food this round, has something changed???

Just surprised 10 family members with Rays Wok for Easter. It was so much easier for my busy schedule. Everything was excellent and still eating leftovers 4 days later. Thank you for the fantastic experience!

My family and I absolutely love Ray s Wok restaurant! We recently celebrated my father s birthday there, and despite not having reservations for our party of eight, the service was exceptional, and the food was fantastic. My mom and I frequently visit for their delicious wonton soup as well was chicken chow mei, and each time, its an amazing experience. Well definitely be returning! Kid-friendliness: We also brought along my two-year-old cousin, and the experience was wonderful. The waitress even brought her a small cup of water, which was such a thoughtful gesture! Its those little touches that really make dining at Ray s Wok restaurant special for the whole family.

Amazing just took my wife there on our 17 year anniversary. Best won ton soup I have ever ate! And the price was even better! I will be back very soon

Literally the best wor wonton soup and dry ribs Ive had in a long time. I cant wait to experience the rest of the menu. The atmosphere has a old timey sailor-esque type of vibe and the bar is delightful to look at. Service was above and beyond, with attention to eating time allotment. I would definitely recommend! So glad to have found this hidden gem!

Staff was extremely helpful, friendly atmosphere. The decor hasnt been updated in ages, so dont expect it to look like a Chinese restaurant. However, what it lacks in aesthetic, it makes up for in food and service! Veggies are always fresh and cooked well, dishes are excellent portion sizes (we always have leftovers to take home), and the variety is great. Weve been here since they opened and havent been disappointed yet. Will definitely be back!

Advertise lunch buffett. Not open until 4pm, that is after lunch. Some listings mention dinner buffett, but did not have it when I went. Facebook page, listed menus are at least 2 years out of date.food average quality and over priced. Parking: Hotel parking lot shared so can be hard to find space.

Consistently serving a quality meal with prompt service. All the veggies were fresh and delicious & in the dead of winter. No expectation to dress up, very casual and always friendly. A great treat after a full day!!

For 90 dollars all our food was pre cooked and old dont call on an oilers night or busy night ordered a pizza do yourself a favor call bings called to let them know and they were really rude

Not recommend it look like the vegetables were in a steam table for too long. In fact, they shouldn t be there in the first place no wasn t happy.

We had a very large order for Thanksgiving dinner. 18 people. Everything we ordered was excellent. Large portions. We have been going here now for years and it keeps getting better. Awesome job guys!!

I only ever had take out here, good portions, great tasting food. A little pricey, and could be a little more generous on the condiments ie: soya sauce

After waiting about 7 minutes, we ordered two B-Combos. The beef in the Beef With Mixed Greens was all fatty and the broccoli was hard with long stems that we couldnt cut. Instead we had to pick them up and bite the ends off, totally unacceptable. When I asked if I could substitute chicken for the beef I was told it would cost an extra $3.00 which I thought was too high. I noticed a lady at the counter ordering take-out saying the same thing. The chicken fried rice was a nice sized portion however it had an odd taste to it. The sweet & sour chicken balls were good and a fair size. The egg roll was mostly batter but still edible. An asian lady served me chicken noodle soup that did not have a chicken taste to it and the tiny chicken chunks were fatty. When I made the mistake of thinking it was Wonton soup I thought the lady was going to bite my head off. She calmed down after I apologized. The male server was okay, but not overly polite. It would have been nice if he checked on us after he served us, but he chose not to, and it wasnt even that busy. I had to go to the counter to get a bottle of soy sauce and ask for some salt as both were not on the table. The server should have asked us if we wanted any when he brought us our meal and once again, he chose not to. Overall, the food was okay. After reading several reviews complaining how rude this lady was, one might think they would correct that, but obviously they dont understand the value of a customer. We all have choices in life, sometimes its the choices we make that can hurt us. Sadly we wont be returning.

Reasonably priced. Fresh, crisp veggies and good sized portions. Really enjoyed the Hot & Sour / War Won Ton Soups, Chicken w/Peppercorn Sauce. We will order again.

Ive been a customer of Rays since they opened. I was initially drawn to them because they made S&P pork chops. I cant think of a time Ive ever had a bad meal from there. Staff are always friendly. Service is always fast. They do have busier times; Fridays, and especially NYE, when they can get super busy. So, orders can (understandably) take longer due to a high order volume, but that proves how good the food is. Food is hot, tasty and consistent. I ordered delivery last night, and even with the cold snap, it arrived faster than I expected. The food was excellent; best supper I had in a while!

So I went to rays wok and asked about the post that the owner them selves put up and the lady that I was asking blew a gasket got very excited and told me to eat else where I was telling her I saw a lot of good reviews but then saw that one from the owner and was just curious if they had a inspection certificate since they said they were going to post it and didn t Any way my experience with the staff very poor and honestly if the hostess had been more hospitable I would have ordered but she was very rude I hope other people have a better experience I my self look at the reviews to where I m going to eat and if I have a question I m going to ask that s what reviews are

Have been a customer since they opened and it was very good for the first few years. Their pricing was very good also. I have heard and seen the reviews about the terrible service in the last few years. This is a deal breaker for me. It could be the best food but I wont go there if the service is bad. Although I never had bad service I have seen it with the attitude and wrong orders. I go elsewhere now so they lost my order every 2 weeks for $50.00 each time for a total of $1,250 per year.

Came in an hour before close, to be told, you have to hurry and order. We were the only customers in the restaurant.During our visit the waitress never checked in at any point. Had to track down staff in order to get a side of sauce. After rushing to eat, we sat waiting for the waitress who was chatting away on her cell phone. After repeated attempts to gain her attention, she came over to our table while continuing her phone conversation. Dropped to go containers on our table saying nothing, walking away still on her cell. After waiting for our bill we became impatient, got up and went to the front counter to acquire the bill. While still on her phone conversation, she rang in our bill not addressing us at all. At which point I informed her we needed separate bills. Without even glancing away from her phone stating no words at all, she rang in our bills abruptly. Food was great but the service was unacceptable.

My complete review didnt post properly. (Rogers tech issues?) We enjoyed the food from Rays. We had the dinner for 2 and it was tasty, plentiful, and dinner was ready for pickup by the time I arrived. We will be back in future!

It s very hit and miss here. Really unhappy... I ordered a dinner for one. Their dry garlic ribs are great! I also ordered an egg roll which was inedible, and green onion cakes (super). Out of the meal I was able to eat 5 garlic ribs and green onion cakes (hardly worth the cost). I am trying to stay away from using skip the dishes as I d like to support the local restaurants and their services. $32 for one person is way too much for a single order. Sadly, I called to let them know and they did nothing to rectify the situation nor comment on the quality of their food... I m terribly disappointed.

I ordered take out from Rays Wok and was very impressed with the Chinese food! We had the lemon chicken,ginger beef,sweet and sour pork ribs, deep fried wontons and spring rolls. The price was right for all the food we received. I recommend to all Chinese food lovers.

We waited an hour and then called to find out where our order was and then we were very rudely told it would take another 20 mins before it would be ready so we cancelled the order and lo & behold our good arrived within 5 minutes of us cancelling with simply a 10% discount. Thanks but no thanks! Maybe when you re told we were first timers you should have told us your delivery times. Never again

Me and my 4 yrs old daughter come here to eat. I didnt expect the guy charge 9.95 for 4 yrs old. Like really my daughter didnt even eat. I wont never go there again. U charge way too much for 4 yrs old. Its total for both of us 28.77

Went in one night and didnt seem to want to serve us, 1/2 hr before closing, no biggy they cooked it and we took it out. First time here and Im going back, it was very very good! Some of the best s&s pork Ive had. Went back two days later and was craving wor wonton, it sais for four ppl on the menu, I ordered it as I was hungry, it literally lasted two days, 15 bucks and well worth it. Highly reccomended for Chinese, cant wait to go back when in Spruce.

I recently moved to stony plain a few months ago and was introduced to rays wok by my significant other we have gotten takeout from here on three separate occasions now every single time has been amazing. Very polite on the phone. Fast service and making the food huge portions for the price and great tasting food. Definitely one of my favourites out here. My personal favourite is garlic chicken and the green onion cakes they were absolutely tasty some of the best green onion cakes I ve ever had will continue to go here.

Was good food. I would change the pineapple chicken ball sauce, it tastes like lemon sauce with pineapples. Big portions for the prices.

I suppose if your starving and too lazy to drive into Edmonton then this is just ok. The food here is subpar at best. We make the short drive into Edmonton and its well worth the drive with way better Chinese options.

Have been going there since Rays Wok opened and in the beginning the food and service were excellent, best in town. Did I mention they were priced better than their competition in town as well. This continued for a few years untill they raised their prices to be on the same level as their competition. Smart business move. But what has happened is the last couple of years is the food quality has gone way down. The service is not as good. Why is Chinese food so expensive in Edmonton and area? I worked for 1 year in Regina and the Chinese food was excellent and was 40 - 50 % cheaper. For Chinese food we now go to Edmonton as Regina is too far.

We always like coming here when in Spruce Grove. Food is consistently good for both Chinese and western Chinese cuisines. It s interesting reading the recent 1-star reviews that a few are just posting even though they haven t actually been there.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! This is hands down the best chinese restaurant in town!! Huge menu, very large portions, friendly staff and quick service. Will definitely be back :)

The food is good. Ive bin going there for a few years. Just recently in the past year ive noticed really bad costumer service from the young asain waitress there. I notice it everytime i go there and i dont want to go there anymore cause of it. Im always use manners and am always as nice as i can be but that one waitress has a bad attitude and i dont think shes a compteent waitress. I noticed a nice asain family that came in and they got great service right away. I dont really want to go there but that is kind of weird.
