Clean restaurant, friendly staff. The food is made fresh when you order it, its tasty. We had an issue with gift cards and they stepped up and went above and beyond to fix the issue. We always look forward to our next visit. Kid-friendliness: All of our kids love the food here!

Went in tonight to grab a quick bite and got a grilled chicken burger to go. Literally drove 2 minutes around the corner to eat it and it was so unbelievably soggy in the tin foil bag that the bin wasnt even edible. Wont be going back and a total waste of money.

You will spend half your night waiting for mediocre food. If you do decide to come, I suggest bringing a book, or your phone charger. Youll need it.

Went there and tried to get the burger that was on special ordered it in a combo and then realized there was no deal with the combo and had already paid so asked immediately to change it to the Burger only to get the deal and they said there was no way to change it. Won t be back very unprofessional.

Zero stars. Save your time and money. $15 for a truly dry meh burger and the fries were out of a bag and unseasoned. My mushroom buger was supposed to have sauteed mushrooms ... looked like they were taken out off a veg platter, cut up and thrown on cold and no mayo. Total waste of $30+ and 30min of life well never get back.

My kids order dinner from here for delivery and it was horrible when it got here. They ordered 2 bacon burgers meals. No bacon on either burger. Kid burger had a very small patty compared to the huge bun. Fries were under cooked, cold cheese was not even melted on the poutines. Maybe better when you go in to eat but definitely disappointed with their delivery

Probably the worst food I have ever ate! The fries for my poutine were raw, I asked for well done! My burger was extremely dry they never followed any of my directions I gave them! Will never order from here again!

Horrible Food was served cold, half the fries were missing, and the adult combo drink was the size of a child size. Disappointing since you pay 25.00 for a combo and most of the food is missing

Saw this place en route to BPs and so glad we tried it out. Large juicy homemade burgers with great buns, so many upgraded fry options and the milkshakes were fabulous. Will be going here again:)

We went here with our family. The owner is always working out front Im assuming anyways he is the owner as he is very attentive and gives excellent service. He provided our toddler a cute little mini shake for free. Food was pretty good and not to bad of prices. Fries portions are huge.

The mushroom swiss burger is delicious, but I really like the milkshakes. The very nice gentleman behind the counter suggested that I mix two flavors so I ordered chocolate/peanut butter (with the whipped cream and cherry). It was sooo good!

The menu is decent with lots of selection, and the restaurant itself is a good size with lots of seating. The Sriracha burger and poutine was fantastic. The best poutine Ive found in Spruce Grove. The staff was really nice too. Ill definitely be back.

This place serves very poor quality food. My wife and I ordered the fish and chips. The Image of the meal looked great, nice big wedges of fish with fries. When we received our order, there were 4 fish sticks the thickness of my thumb. The tartar sause was packaged kraft tartar. There is nothing authentic or home made here. Our meal was $14.00 each. Dont eat here!

I would not recommend this to anyone that is gluten sensitive or has celiac disease. I ordered food from here and clearly stated that I had a gluten allergy and was served regular food with a wheat bun. I called the manager to tell him what was wrong with the order. He just said it was a miss communication and that he would remake the order. Unfortunately it was already too late. The fries and a bite from the burger were already consumed that should have been gluten free but were NOT! Very disappointing.

My first visit to Boardwalk. I was very impressed. The mushroom Swiss burger was the best Ive ever had!! The chili cheese fries were served steaming hot and very delicious as well. My only issue was with the amount of chili on the fries. Could use just a tad bit more chili. Other then that, the service was great and the food really awesome. Thanks boardwalk for the yummy meal!!

I have to be honest about this place. VERY DISAPPOINTING. 60 bucks for three combos with shakes? Plus the burger is small, baby size fries with no seasoning and the shake serious tasted like powered milk. My kids agreed and we won t be wasting our time or money with this store and quite possibly franchise again.

Till now, I have been here for the first time. The quality of food and excellent customer service makes me feel more welcoming to the place. Recommend to all.

Ordered the Swiss mushroom burger, poutine, and a milkshake. Order came to $29+ without the tip to driver. Burger was tasty, glad to see some actual thick beef patties instead of the usual paper thin ones other burger joints put in their burgers. The poutine was a decent portion size, and milkshake was good. I did find it a little pricey for what i got.

Fries are typical and basic. The burgers we received were over priced and nothing to write home about. Definitely a lot of better places for the price or cheaper. Worth the try but won t be a repeat customer.

Ordered on skip. They forgot the milkshake. Skip credited me $3.47. Burger was really bland. Fries were okay but very small. So $20 for something that Wendys could probably compare at $10.

Cookies and cream shake....kinda, staws are the size of empty toilet paper rolls and the shakes are not much thicker than whole milk. But at least the straws arent made out of recycled newspaper. Burger....tasteless. Fries, the only reason my star rating is so high. And whatever hell was on the speakers for ambiance was EXTREMELY annoying!!!! Cant see coming back.

My original review was a 5 star but I m back to change it. The food is good. Really good. But after today I won t be giving them my business. A staff member lied to me today. I asked the for a favour, I had made a mistake and ordered online and it was premature. I asked them to cancel the order and they agreed to. But then they didn t cancel it. I d much rather be told no, than lied to. I just feel like that is so dishonest and unethical and bizarre because the customer is still disappointed and you ve broken their trust. Not a good way to do business.

Went here for the first time when they just opened and it was amazing but recently we had out of town company and we took them out there and it was awful and staff didnt seem to give 2 bits about the awful awful food and staff to match

Solid 4, maybe 4.5 stars. Food was good, probably the 2nd or 3rd best burgers in town. A little pricier, but you get good sized portions. Big selections of milkshakes, and they re willing to customize them for you, if you want. Staff was courteous and friendly. Food was fresh, hot and served directly to the table. Not a busy location as it is tucked away a bit. Had the bbq cheeseburger with fries and a chocolate peanut butter milkshake. Wife had the poutine, added on the jalapeños and cheese sauce. Kids split the chicken finger and fries basket. Beats any fast food burger joint for sure. We will be back again, more on the menu we want to try.

Great service, my sons favourite burgers!

We took advantage of the four combo deal - not only was it pretty reasonable (comparable to other fast food/burger places) the food was delicious. Even our plain only kids loved the Boardwalk Classic burger and kept saying how yummy the burger sauce was. The portions were generous, and left us wanting to try more. Cant wait to try the poutine and milkshakes next!

My girlfriend and I went to lunch at boardwalk for the first time and the food was extremely well prepared and reasonably priced. My favourite part, and why I will be coming back, is how friendly one of the staff were. Made great conversation while we waited for the meal. 10/10 will be going back!

Boardwalk Burgers is worth checking out. I found it s location to be very convenient, but somewhat hidden. Unless I have a reason to go to a hotel in the same city where I already have a house, I will never have a reason to drive by and see it. The building is clean and modern and looks like just about any other fast food burger joint should look. The biggest drawback is the lack of a drive-thru so getting takeout is going to take an extra step or two. The burgers themselves are pretty good. They ought to be since they cost $7+ per burger. While this is cheap compared to a restaurant, it s twice as much as your typical burger joint. Are the burgers better than what you would get at McDonalds, Wendy s, or A&W? Oh, definitely. Are they *twice* as good in order to justify twice the cost? I m not entirely sure of that. They have a number of unique offerings (including the Hawaiian burger or the chipotle burger) and they have a unique bun that reminds me of a hot-cross bun. The spicy chicken burger was decent and so were the milkshakes (including the bizarre peanut butter milkshake). The fires were a little expensive, but they had quite a number of options to spice them up including poutine. I had the regular fries and they were unsalted and bland kind of like KFC fries. I recommend going a few times to explore the menu. I m sure you ll find that they rank on the higher end of burger spectrum.

Love the service and food. Only Fast food Joint where I found 100% fresh meat and chicken. If you like milkshakes best place to it, almost 12 options. Do check it out, its worth spending money.

Had not heard of this place before but it was next door to the hotel we stay at whenever we visit Spruce Grove. Food was excellent, all freshly made and the staff were very attentive and genuinely wanted to make sure everything was right. Lots of menu options to try so we ll be going again for sure. Would have liked to try a peanut butter milkshake but I was way too full. Pretty fair prices too, better than any other fast food burgers/fries.

We got two burgers and a side of poutine and a side of cheese fries for just over $30. The fry portions were insanely large. Gravy and cheese sauce were good. But skip the vegetables. The tomatoes were hard and green and the lettuce was wilted and gross. The burgers were fine but nothing to write home about. Don t really have a desire to go back.

We went there to have a bite to eat. We got 2 mushroom swiss burgers one regular poutine and a cheddar bacon ranch poutine. I ordered and I was told it would be a few minutes so I took the receipt and went to my vehicle. After a few minutes I went back into the Restaurant and used the bathroom. I came out of the bathroom and waited by the til for my food. An order is given to another person who was waiting for their food the employee looks at me and I said Ive already ordered and I proceeded to tell the employee my order. The other customer who had walked out with what I assumed was his order came back in and said to the employee that they forgot the kids meals. The employee looks to me and then him and says to that customer that I gave you her order. He went to his vehicle, grabbed the bags of my order and brought it back in. He put them on the counter in front of the employee, that employee picks up the bags and puts it in front of me. The other customer had their hands on my food and then the employee gave me that food. I was thoroughly disgusted by this. I grabbed the bags of food walked out and went somewhere else to eat. I will never return to this Restaurant.

It s not a super busy spot and weren t overly friendly or heavy with conversation but at least they were polite. Good products including milkshakes but a little more expensive than the average restaurant doing the exact same thing.

Food was average at best. Tasted similar to something you would get at a hospital cafeteria. Service was not good. Too busy with skip orders to care about dine in customers. I actually had to remind them to make my food as they thought I was standing there for no reason after I paid. And even after they brought the food, they forgot to make the one milkshake we ordered. We did receive a sorry for the inconvenience on the way out, thats why they got a second star. I will take my $40 to just about any fast food joint and get better tasting food. Save your time, this is not worth going to.
