I order the Beef and Chicken Yakisoba from Edo Japan in Spruce Grove every month or two as a treat. I get extra sauce which comes on the side so I need to mix it in, I use a glass bowl to do that. Today I ordered but it came in a different delivery container and only filled the mixing bowl 2/3 what it normally would while also being a bit more expensive. It was still 10/10 on taste but if the portion size dropped to 2/3 while also being more expensive that's around a 50% increase in price per serving. I'll try it again in a month or so and hope it was a one off but if this holds true I won't be ordering again.
Too bad I’m not sure how much plastic I ate with one meal. Shouldn’t happen, not nice to find plastic in your food.
The customer service here is next level. I ordered 30 minutes before closing, nervous as heck thinking they would hate me but I was treated so well!! For a fast food joint the service and food is amazing! I also love that they have biodegradable plastic Straws and not paper straws!
As far as fast food places go, this is great!! Came here to leave a review because I was impressed when I ran in to pick up a mobile order I had put in. The floors were freshly mopped, it was clean, the food was prepped quicker than the online/mobile estimate, and the staff seemed like genuinely good folks. They obviously work hard, even when the store was dead quiet after the rush. Probably going to be my new fast food joint. Not basing my stars on the sushi, it's FAST FOOD. Lower your damn standards If you're looking for upscale sushi. It was good, husband likes the noodle stir fry bowls.
The staff are very friendly and the service was fast. Got the beef and chicken bento box with spicy teriyaki sauce .
What a garbage service. I ordered chicken ramen less noodles they serve me lots of noodles with my order. When I complain they took of noodles and return me like this. Food was cold when talk to manager she was so rude. Never wanna go again.
Excellent customer service. By far the best in Spruce Grove I’ve found yet. The food was great and the store clean but the customer service is my first memory when I think of this Edo. Outstanding.

Have not had Edo in almost 6 years. Did not disappoint. Sauce was a little on the watery side, however, that could have been due to not having the vegies to help absorb it (cannot have due to Crohns) Dietary restrictions: I have Crohns disease and they had no issue with my diet needs. Parking: Busy location so only a few open parking spaces available

Food was horrible, Ramen was not Ramen but hot water and noodles. Sushi was not fresh, rice was dry and seaweed was hard. Ended up throwing it to the coons

I eat at Edo Japan daily and I eat at a location thats near me when its meal time! Yesterday I picked spruce grove location everything was fine till Im guessing it was the owner he was walking around asking every person who was eating how was there meals .when he came to my table and asked how my meal was ,I then replied it was OK. He then walked away repeating what I just said and had disappointed look on his face and he was shaking his head like I insulated his 5 star restaurant.....for starters not everybody who eat at restaurants like too be bother about their meal especially how it is tasting or even to be distributed while eating ..its a fast food restaurant the meals are Generic and all the restaurants have the same menu.. I find your questions at the end of my review funny I spend 35 everyday at edo japan I eat solo everytime as Ill be returning this evening cause its better than McDonalds LOL

Placed my order online and went to pick up said was almost done waited as people kept coming and getting their orders. The lady then realized mine was already done after I had been waiting over 20min after I had said I was there.
Good place. The phone line is busy for over 30min. Could not order ahead. Lowered star rating. Had to go somewhere else.

Every time I order zero I m disappointed, but I thought I d give it another try. I ordered a beef and broccoli and they had the audacity to only give TWO pieces of broccoli in my meal. Never coming back

We were greeted with a friendly smile. The greeting was cheerful. Restaurant was clean. Food was good and served in a reasonable time.
Came in to order two Teriyaki Chicken Wraps to go at 7:05 pm, was only one other person before me waiting. After 25 minutes, the person before me and two after me had been served and gone, when I inquired as to how much longer, I was told one was done and the other was going to be 15 more minutes. I asked why and wasnt given an explanation. Shouldnt take 40 minutes to get two wraps to go. As for how they tasted? Cant tell you because I got a full refund (which they tried to only refund for one because theyd already made one). Wont be visiting this location again anytime soon.

Everything I go here I find the staff very friendly and helpful. Im not a fan of Edo food app but that isnt the fault of this location. Parking here is OK, but I do find with my truck its better to park further away and just walk in.

Good food. Lax mask policy when it comes to customers, though. Cough away, apparently.... Great if you want to fuel a global-killing pandemic, not so much if you just want a quick and tasty bite to eat. Clean up that issue and your rating would probably be much higher...

Food is good, but make sure you bring earplugs when you are waiting for your food. The equipment running in the restaurant is so loud you just can t wait to leave.
I like this place but sometimes they use old rice which is very bad. I ordered again to give them a second chance. And they gave me fresh new rice. And I ordered again recently they again gave me the old rice. I made a call order so they didnt knew who was the customer and they made me fool again. And I tried to reach them and they did not respond to me. This is not good. I love Edo japan food but this branch is making my experience bad. I would go to the other branch in next town. They are the best. Thank you.........

I ordered SkipTheDishes today because I wanted a quick meal. However, upon receiving the meal, I discovered it to be, lacklustre. The California rolls were poorly prepared. They were mixed in with the rice and became an amalgamation of ginger, wasabi, and other bento box flavours. Aside from that, the kitchen clearly forgot to add two rolls to our order when we specifically asked for 8. Overall, bad experience and will definitely not reconsider ordering from here.
Had teriyaki chicken and udon soup and orange juice. It was delicious. Great service. Friendly hosts. Highly recommended.

The floor is absolutely filthy as were the tables. We decided to get our food to go, we sat on the bench and nearly fell on the floor. The seat isnt attached to the main bench. Now on a better note; the was great and hot!

Got a chicken and rice dish with 3 scoops of sauce on it lucky if there was half of one it. And I litterly no chicken on it could count 10 wholes pieces on it usually double that last 3 times Ive been there its been like this it UST to be good now it is horrible will not go to this one again and advise everyone else to not go aswell

Food is always good but they need to train staff better. I called to make an order for pick up and the girl put me on hold by setting the phone down. I could hear her take several orders for 10 minutes as she completely forgot about me. It also says they are open till 10 pm on Google but they locked their doors almost 10 minutes before 9. Even if they are open till 9 they should be taking orders until then.

Food quality and customer service has been consistently good each time Ive visited. Cleanliness Is up to standards for the most part. Sometimes their sauce/cutlery area needs more than just a quick wipe. Overall really happy with the service.

Chicken and beef Bento Box was not good at all. Beef was undercooked and stringy. The entire meal was barely warm, not HOT as advertised. Disappointing experience.
Very poor. Service downhill today people were leaving because of the slowness 4 people working. One on till serving, getting cash. Seems only one cook trying to keep up. Used to be more people working. Food was good when we finally got it 30 minutes later. Seems worse than before.
I think its a better choice if your gunna eat out at a fast food chain
