Hola! we are a mom and daughter shop that wants to share our culture through pastries and baked goods! we are from Sinaloa, Mexico and we would love for you to come in and try some of our favorite home town goods! we have lots of things planned so stay tuned!
So delicious! My new goal is to try everything in the shop. The owners are delightful and give you the feeling of having stumbled into a Latina grandma’s kitchen. I particularly love their sweet bread apple and dulce de leche empanadas. My husband is thrilled because he has a peanut allergy but finally found a bakery that uses no peanuts!
Visited for the first time the other day and it was delicious! Very nice and comforting atmosphere as you walked in. Definitely recommend trying out if you haven't already! 😊
Stopped here for dessert after eating lunch next door! I ordered the iced Cafe Ollo, two empanadas (to take home) and the churro special. It came with 6 churros, whipped cream and vanilla ice cream. Sooooo good!!!! I really like this little family of restaurants. We used to eat at El Taco Loco before they moved and became Las Ventanas (which is also very good) and now my favourite are these two little spots. All of the food has been great so far. Excellent empanadas. I’ve been trying to find them after a trip to Costa Rica where I became mildly obsessed and started to look like an empanada!!!!
Delicious conchas and tres leches. Next time I’ll try to Tortilla Chips and Salsa.
Very nice Coffee Shop. The desserts are super tasty. The 'cafe de olla' is a must to try.
I was visiting the area about a week or so ago from the states to see my fiancé who's a local. On our phone calls, he had been going on about how much he loves Dulce Mexico and really wanted to take me there during my visit. Needless to say, I was immediately hooked. The both of us, along with a friend of ours, ordered Tres Leche cakes and they were absolutely delicious! I'm craving one now as I'm writing this review! And as we were finishing up, I was directed to a framed art piece on the wall of a collage of "window views" from an airplane and I immediately knew that that had to come home with me! I'm a sucker for anything related to airplanes so combining this artwork with a delicious cake was absolutely perfect and made for a great day! Once I'm able to move up into the area, I know full well that Dulce Mexico will become a regular place for me to visit! I'm missing it very much from the states! Could someone mail me a Tres Leches cake from here? Haha! :) The owner is also an incredibly sweet and kind individual! When I had bought the airplane artwork, she was over the moon excited which just puts an even bigger and brighter smile onto your face! 100% worth stopping in and treating yourself to a delicious and sweet treat! I can't wait to visit again when I'm back in the area! Thank you!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Today my younger brother and I came in to buy a snack. The wonderful lady at the front was very patient as we took our time to look over the treats! We could only afford a cookie, but she gave us two and two drinks! She absolutely made our days!! The cookies were absolutely delicious and you could certainly tell that they were bakery quality. Thank you so much!!
Dulce is amazing! The conchas were sooo soft, the churro cheesecake was excellent! The cookies are huge and so good!! I’m always on the hunt for tres leches cake, I’ve tried several from local places and surrounding areas. Dulce hands down has them all beat! Fresh, perfectly sweet, just amazing! They also offer a couple gluten free options and have local Mexican artists and vendors in store! Today they ran out of regular tres leches cups but they made me a fresh one! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
Amazing tamales, pastries, desserts, and hot chocolate! The tres leches is to die for. You absolutely must try Dulce Mexico!!
What an amazing place. It brings Mexico to Spruce Grove. Samantha and Daniela are so caring and kind. So happy to have them in Spruce Grove.
This is a bakery, but they have the best breakfast burrito in town.
Came at about 2:50pm when the hours say it is open today from 10-4. Unfortunately, the door was locked and it was closed. Well try again another day.
Amazing place! The food is authentic and it is so nice to have a place like this in town. Best conchas in all of Edmonton!
Been passing this place for a little while and finally decided to stop in, had pulled pork with rice and refried beans and a coffee to go, all was delicious! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for some authentic Mexican food / desserts and treats.
