I think they may be under management. The meat is pre cut and stewed under the pan. No crispy beef off the spit. Won t go back!!!!

New review. Donair Fusion 1 stars - I can no longer recommend this place. Ive been going here since Donair Lab first opened. The food has gone downhill. Ive tried it over 10x since the name/ownership change. - Beef is super salty now. Sauce is not the same. Wraps are tough to bite through. - Chicken shawarma no longer has any flavour, same with the sauce. - Prices have gone up, which is understandable with inflation, but flavor and portions have gone down as well, and this is unacceptable. The business is centered around food, and if the food is no longer good, how do you keep coming back? We are so disappointed. Had to update my review as my previous one was when it was still donair lab. Since the new ownership, a solid decline in quality of product and service. 2 donairs and a Cajun fries set us back about $40. Asked for cheese on both donairs, was charged for it but didnt have it. Gave it my final straw today, ordered a regular donair with cheese. Once again, no cheese, half the meat and easily the most bland, boring donair Ive ever had. Truly disappointing to see how badly this place has gone down given it was so close to home. Hopefully they can turn it around, but no high hopes.

Been going here for years, back when it was donair lab. Ordered my usual for the wife and I. Paid for extra cheese and didn t get it. Half the amount of meat from normal order. No sauce. Pita crusty and hard. Really too bad this place has gone down hill. Time to find a new place in spruce grove.

Nice shawarma

Went in at 6:00 PM for beef donairs, they were out of beef said it was cooking. Ordered chicken donairs instead. The chicken was full of fatty chunks and slimy. Absolutely terrible tasting, both donairs went in the garbage. Very disappointing and a complete waste of $35.00

Been here before when it was Donair Lab and it was good. Came today and was disappointed. Charged $38 for 2 regular donairs no cheese and chicken fingers. Seemed high but their menus were shut off. Got home and checked online $11.50 for 2 reg beef donairs and $9 for chicken fingers. Thats $32...$33.60 with tax. For $9 you get 4 tiny little chicken strips no sides. The donairs tasted off. They were a good size no complaints with the size, they just tasted....off. Make sure you check the price they are charging you if you come here.

This is my go to place. Service is fantastic and food is even better. I cannot recommend it enough. Great bang for your buck!!

Straight up the best donairs in Spruce Grove. Definitely worth the price because they LOAD them up with meat and toppings. The chicken shawarma is incredible but the donair meat is phenomenal as well. Awesome attitude everytime you go in and always nail the order even through Skip. A must have anytime youre craving any type of donair. December 28 - unfortunately have to drop my rating of this place. Food is still on point and definitely worth the price. But the hours on the website and on Google are either wrong or people just arent showing up. Go online to order at noon when they are supposed to be open at 11 am and no response twice. Lunch time is apparently no big deal anymore. Very disappointed.

Phoned in an order a half hour in advance so my wife could just stop and pick it up. When she got there, they hadnt even started the order and when questioned were very rude to her. Will never eat there again.

Really good food here, if youve never tried a donair roll before then you need to! Only reason for 4 star is I prefer the meat thinly sliced and most of the time it is, but the odd time its chopped up in chunks. Overall really good, and very clean restaurant.

Placed order for pickup at 8:45pm, immediately got a call from restaurant asking if we could pick up early. Unfortunately had to say no as I work until 8:30pm. Worker was quite rude over phone and turned us off completely. Which sucks because we love the food so much! Canceled our order after phone call.

I ve been going here since it was first opened as Donair Lab, just went to try out what the new owners have Now called Donair Fusion.. prices seem the same maybe a bit more. But today the expectation and experience was definitely sub par.. ordered a 2 regular donairs and a large poutine. No bags on the donairs a bit less meat than normal, peta bread a bit dry onions cut huge and kinda just piled in the middle.. but the poutine was absolutely terrible.. old chunky gravy soggy fries and half of the cheese wasn t even melted from how cold the gravy was. I guess it s time to find a new donair place..

Very good!!! We got the smallest size and were all excruciatingly full! 2 beef, 1 chicken (shawarma) & 1 falafel and they hit the spot. The 2 gents were friendly and helpful.

Skip left part of our order behind so they delivered the rest to us. Food is fantastic great value for the price 10/10

Mixed up my order and gave it to the person who ordered after me. I paid for a regular with cheese and received a small without cheese. Best birthday gift, ever. They also ran out of donair meat @ 6 PM. Not impressed. Definitely going to check out other places.

I really enjoy Donair Fusion for their friendly service, accessible website and online ordering, and to be honest my favorite item here is the chicken shwarma poutine, the fries are the crispiest while maintaining a fluffy inside (you even get a choice of seasonings of which there are three!), the tzatziki sauce is the most delicious out of the many donair shops Ive eaten at, and the gravy is very savory and flavorful. I really cant recommend this place enough, definitely worth a try, youll more than likely be returning for more again!

Roughly 6-7 months ago, the establishment was taken over by new ownership and rebranded (previously Donair Labs). Ever since this change, it s seems that every aspect of the restaurant has drastically changed for the worse. Not only have the quality and quantity of the meat, chicken, toppings, and wraps declined, the atmosphere and customer service has taken a bad hit as well. Donair Labs used to be a well-known, reputable and top-quality shop in the local area that I personally was loyal to offering my business. Yet my experiences have progressively gotten worse with each visit to my former #1 spot. The lacking portion sizes compared to the now raised prices is just another example of the experience to consider when visiting this establishment. As a donair enthusiast, I d strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere in SG.

The sizing of the Donairs are very inconsistent. My hubby got the supreme and I got a super and I was not impressed with how small it was in comparison to the supreme. I would be scared to see what a regular size is after what I seen today. The beef was rubbery and grey . I wont be ordering from here again. 2 for 1 pizza in spruce has way better beef Donairs for a little cheaper and way better quality.

We came here the day they opened and found the food to be meh. The owner had a mutual friend so they said the next time we came in they would discount it and hope we would have a different opinion. It was much better the second time around, probably just opening day issues.

Nothing like going for a donair and standing to order forever (1 staff) just to find out they want you to wait 15 minutes because they have no meat. It s 5:15 pm. So I didn t wait.

I drove pretty far to try this place out, due to the great reviews. I wasn t impressed, the meat (in my opinion) was undercooked and bland. After I ate the first half I threw it in an air fryer to cook the meat and added several spices and hot sauce for flavor and it was great. Great place if this is your first donair or you don t traditionally like donairs

I have to say this is the best donair in the Edmonton area by far. For me it s a short drive from west side to Spruce Grove but we ll worth the drive. Just tough to drive home smelling the sweet deliciousness.

I was never big into donairs before my fiance convinced me to try this place and I cant eat a donair from anywhere else because they just dont compare. The staff is fantastic, they are always pleasant and genuinely care about the food they put out. If you havent tried them yet I would highly recommend that you do.

This is THE BEST donair restaurant. Portions are huge, the food is absolutely delicious, and we always receive great service. These guys really know how to do it right!

They have pretty ok donairs. We got a poutine today from here though that cost nearly $10 and was grossly small. I posted a photo to see how much poutine there actually was before eating any. Not even remotely enough to fill a person. Could have went to Wendys for half the price. Extremely disappointed. As for the photo, we pushed the poutine to the side so you could see how much it filled the container. We did not eat any of it before taking the photo.

We recieved a platter last night for dinner and OMG! It was amazing. The flavor was perfect. The vegetables were fresh. The bread was fresh and the meat was tender and perfect. This will now be our go to place. Oh and the staff were friendly and organized! The place was spotless!

Went here over the past couple months. Always seem to get the same jumbo mixed and a donair poutine for the wife. Portions are larger then most places. Even when they are busy they still acknowledge you immediately, and are quick to jump on the order. Will continue to go back and would recommend to anyone looking for a solid donair!

Food is always great, but I was pretty disappointed when I was asked if I wanted lettuce tomato onion, to which I replied lettuce tomato jalapeños... there were no jalapeños... hence lack of 1 star..

Live near by, and worked for the owner (shady) on a few electrical jobs (jman electrician). Hands down one of the best donairs in spruce grove if not in surrounding areas. Sauce is always loaded, meat is hot and they are all very friendly in there. Highly recommend the lab for anyone looking for a hearty donair, you won t be disappointed!

My New Favourite Donair Place! Loads of meat. Hardly room to add the veggies. I eat mine with a knife & fork. Meat is moist & tender. Regular donair is the size of super donairs at other restaurants. Donair Lab definitely has our family s business!

For a take-out place, Donair Lab definitely has a wow factor. The atmosphere is very modern and unmatched in Spruce Grove. The equipment, staff, and building were all clean and in good shape. The customer service was fantastic, with more options and variety than most donair shops would offer. As for the donair,it was probably one of the best Ive had in my life. Will definitely be coming back to Donair Lab in the future!

So impressed with Donair Lab tonight! My boyfriend came home from working out of town and we were both craving some donairs! Ive heard great things and decided we would try! I called 20 mins before they closed just to see if they were still delivering. The person that answered the phone (wish I got their name) informed me that they deliver through skip but had just shut it off. They then said they would turn it back on for me! Didnt even hesitate! I never would have expected that and certainly wouldnt have asked but Im so satisfied with the amazing service! Thank you!!

First off, amazing service! Can t say I ve had a better customer experience anywhere. When I called they asked me how far away I was, explaining that they would have my food ready in 5 minutes. This shows they care about the quality of their product and giving you the freshest experience possible. Once I got there they even asked me how I d like my fries as they were still in the drier, I thought that was a brilliant! I love a crispier fry, so that was spot on! Now for the donair... what can I say, it was the best! If these guys stick to the fresh food they made for me and my family today, they will be untouchable! It had a great ratio between meat and veggies and unlike other places, they didn t use lettuce as the filler, I could actually taste tomatoes on every bite of my donair. The sweet sauce was what I went with and it didn t disappoint either. Finally the cheese... it was melty, what more could you ask for?

Our son told us these guys have the best Donairs. He wasnt kidding. Lots of meat and the other ingredients are Sooooo fresh. I absolutely loved it. Bring a big appetite they dont skimp on anything. If I could give 10 stars I would. Staff is very friendly.

Very good donairs, good east coast style sweet sauce, tasty meat grilled nicely, not steamed and soggy like Js. The staff has been cool both times iv been there.

I ordered from skip, and I was looking forward to trying a good donair place, but to my disappointment I would say the donair was sub par. I feel bad for saying that because I see reviews of how nice the owner is and his restaurant being a nice atmosphere. But I can t deny how the food tastes. We ordered chicken fingers and they are processed meat, which you can just buy at a grocery store same to say about their burgers, processed. The fries were over done and a little burnt. We also got poutine and the gravy wasn t good either. Now the donair, the meat was not the greatest, it came a little cold and seemed not cooked enough. We also ordered a dish that looks like spring rolls stuffed with cheese and they were the one thing that I enjoyed.

Super clean place and friendly staff. I stop here on my way out to grande prairie every couple weeks and I m never disappointed. Well worth the trip there. I recommend getting half beef and half chicken in your donair. 6 stars wasn t an option so 5 will have to do! Not your typical hole in a wall, run down donair shop like everywhere else.

weve had donair from downtown to white ave and all over the city but donair lab is by far best donair place weve ever had! their beef is thick, their chicken shawarma has a crispy texture to it which i really enjoy and they have the best tasting sides which ive never seen in other donair places (crispy mashed potatoes, cheese sticks, deep fried mac and cheese!!!) also the staff are really friendly! our favourite donair place <3

Amazing Donair, had the jumbo and it was in fact giant. I was somewhat ashamed I ate it all but it was delicious so not really.

I just finished my Donair there and oh my god this is thee place for a Donair. I feel like I ve died and went to Donair heaven. The meat is cooked perfectly! The toppings were all fresh!! This place is super clean! The staff was super friendly, I honestly have zero complaints, if I could give them extra stars I would.

Omg best donairs ever. And that garlic sauce...yum !!!!!! I had the cheese and potato rolls too..... SO amazing. The two gentlemen in there last night were very friendly and kind too. Ill be back again for sure !!!!

Just tried this place for the first time. I ordered a Poutine, Onion Rings and a Donair. The Poutine was terrible for having to pay $7 for a $3 sized was just a joke. It was so small and just regular shoe string fries with a bit or cheese and gravy, complete rip off. But besides that the Onion Rings were good and the Donair was probably one of the best I have had Edmonton/Spruce/Stony. I had a Super Donair and it was fully packed and tasted Great!! Will be back for a Donair for sure.

Love their donairs and especially the chicken shawarma! It s great that you can get all the veggies you want. This place is the best I have tasted in a long time. The onion rings were done to perfection. All the items on their menu look absolutely delicious!!

They have the best Donairs around hands down. Staff is very nice and the place is kept clean. Right on everybody please keep up the great work and dont change.

The portions were huge. The meat is spiced just right, value was exceptional, service was great. Fresh toppings as well. Ive eaten at alot of great donair shops but this ones top notch. Nice to see what all the raves were about.

A friend told us about this place, for a family that loves donairs,this place hit it just right.When I went into pick up, the location was so clean and the staff was super friendly and ready to help out when I walked in. The meat was cooked just right with the freshness in the veggies and sauce. I will be back for more, glad this company came to Spruce Grove, highly recommend!

This place is amazing I got the jumbo and it was literally the size of my head they could barely close the pita. Not to mention the taste was phenomenal top quality.

We went here just after they were opened, food was ok but nothing to tell anyone about, gave them a second chance and was truly impressed, food was great, servings were what you need and want. Definitely be recommending and definitely will be going back for donairs in the future! Thanks Shadi!

I just discovered this place today, its kind of tucked away in the city of spruce but boy is it a hidden gem. I was greeted with friendly faces and ordered a regular donair with sweet sauce. The sweet sauce was amazing, you can tell they take the time to make the their sauces properly. After reading other reviews I cannot wait to come back and order a donair with garlic sauce. I dont usually choose donair, but when I do, I choose donair lab. 10/10
