Peking Way is a small western chinese fast food restaurant. The food is good and the staff are pleasant. Try the buffet on Wednesday and Friday. This is a good place for a quick meal.

Always great chinese food, nice friendly service and reasonable delivery charges to our home in Spruce.

Horrible. Do not order from here, ginger beef was dry and not saucey, sweet n sour pork was way too sweet very unimpressed. Safe yourself and just order from wok house.

I came to Edmonton for work with my colleagues and accidentally searched for this restaurant. The Chinese food tastes good and the dishes are large. It is worth recommending!

I use to always go to Bings till i found Peking Way, This now is our go to play for western Chinese Cuisine. The food is always hot and taste wonders. portions are excellent. Service is always so friendly. i will be continuing going there and would highly recommend them.

My favourite spot for dinner. My new favourite is the Cantonese chow mein recommended by the owner. Portions are huge and it s always fresh. Owners are amazing.

The food wasn t the best I have had looked like it was just thrown together and it was a pickup so no way to tell until you got it home. another thing that really t d me off was the the TIP that was put onto the bill it cost $12.00 more for service I never received, that s what a TIP is all about. after having a plate there would have never been a TIP for that amount for that quality of food, not good more than likely won t be back

The only thing I can tell you is if you are not Asian dont eat this food unless you inspect it carefully, from Saint Paul, Alberta to Spedden to Edmonton then Vancouver area these restaurants have served up cat and dogs on the Dinner plates. Im speaking from experience with eating cat and dog for 18 months in Vancouver and being told about the owners buying small pets in trade for liquor from my fellow Native people. Enjoy your Chinese food, me Im sticking to moose meat a Bannock.

Small portions and don t seem to have a lot of flavour

I ve eaten at Peking Way a few times now, and have always had a great experience. Their service is prompt, employees are friendly, and the food is delicious and they give large portions. I will always recommend their combos!

Jusy got my order deliever to my house and half of it is so gross and not edible the chicken balls taste like they were reheated or under a heat lamp for too long. Beef and broccoli tasted rancid.

Pre ordered my NYE dinner for 10 people. The restaurant was chaotic when I got there but no one seemed to mind. I waited about 30 mins past my pick up time which I was expecting as it was NYE. I would give these guys 0 stars for the quality of food. We ordered a combo meal Cantonese chow mean which was soggy and gross the pork was breaded and not even covered in sauce the wonton soup was blah the food was so bad I couldnt bare myself to eat it! I wish I had pictures but I was upset so I took the food back they blamed me and tried to say its the people there preference of food! So I said well its disgusting and we cant eat it she was rude to me and they gave 30 back the meal was 50 so basically they charged me 20 for a wonton soup! I feel ripped off it was a waste of my time and money. I wont be going back and I hope people see this and and realize what good service is!. Its not how I wanted my new years dinner to go at all thanks alot Peking way! Very upsetting

Ita very hit and miss here. The combination plates are trash. Sorry but the batter on the shrimp and sweet and sour pork was awful. Pretty inedible. Very chewy and flavorless. Everything seemed overcooked. Dry spicy chicken was just that. Save yourself the hassle and order fresh Chinese from Rays Wok.

We have ordered from here many times in the past and always loved it. Ordered the other night and both me and my husband have gotten bad food poisoning. Thank god my son refused to eat the last couple days. This puts me off big time and unfortunately will never be ordering from here again.

Big serving but the sweet and sour pork boneless is not taste like sweet and sour the sauce taste and smell ketchup .

I was told next time to call in and that their OWN website cannot be trusted for an order. When I got to the restaurant to pick up my order, as I had received a text saying that it was ready, I was told I had not ordered. But Yes, I had already paid received an order confirmation and an additional text telling me it was ready to be picked up. I asked why I was not able to get the free spring rolls or $ off (as per their website and menu) and again they didn t know. Told me to call in instead. So I had to wait for my order (they did try snd rectify it pretty quick) but did not offer me the $ off or rolls even though I asked for it. I also gave them the heads up their address is wrong (calmar) and they shrugged at me. Food was good as always- definitely won t use their site in the future

Fresh food and fast service with reasonable price.

In my opinion this is the best Chinese food in all of Spruce Grove and Stony, hands down. I never feel sick ever after eating their food(you know that feeling after eating fast food of any sort??). The service is incredibly outstanding, you can pick up within literally 15-20 mins from when you called(this time doesn t compromise taste or freshness), as long as they re not super busy. If you pick up, you also get a discount and free for item(spring rolls or onion cake). I used to order from Ray s Wok, but Peking Way is my go-to now. Overall great quality, good service and the food hasn t disappointed me once.

Ordered shanghai noodles. The flavour is really nice, but there was near zero meat. One piece of chicken, no pork at all. $20 for noodles and sauce is a bit extreme.

If you like paying premium prices for sub par Chinese food this is the place for you i guess, wont be going back. So disappointed we put it away after one bite and ordered else where. Ordered the chicken chowmein and beef chop suey. Flavors were really good but it was wayyy too salty. I also didn t realize when they said (bean sprouts) that the entire chop suey was bean sprouts. So that was disappointing. I will be trying other dishes next time

This was our first time ordering Chinese food from Peking Way in Spruce Grove. On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being the worst, we would give it a 2 only because the house mixed greens were good. We have eaten Chinese food from all over and this was the 2nd worst Chinese food we have ever eaten. The egg rolls lacked a good mixture of ingredients, the BBQ Chow Main was mostly Chow Main noodles, bean sprouts and 5 small peices of BBQ pork. The Sweet & Sour Pork was soooo sour it made my lips pucker ( way to much vinegar), couldnt even eat them they were soooo bad. The Honey Garlic Ribs were hard dry ribs with a very watery Honey Garlic sauce poured on it (really bad). The Shanghai Noodles were over cooked, lacked flavor and had 3 small peices of chicken in it. The Lemon Chicken tasted not bad but lacked flavor and the lemon sauce wasnt that good either. ALL THE FOOD LACKED FLAVOR, VERY BLAN. We will NEVER Order from there again. We found the best Chinese food to be at The Elegant Court in North Edmonton (137 & Manning Rd.) From now in if we want GREAT Chinese food we will drive all the way to Edmonton from Spruce Grove for our Chinese food, as the Chinese food at Peking Way is that bad. DEFINITELY WOULDNT RECOMMEND IT!!

Worst food ever! Fried rice tasted like a dirty grill and looked like fried quinoa, have fun finding the shrimp in shrimp chow mien, the lemon chicken was dry and tastes old. Won t recommend this place.

Food is fabulous. We always do take out so really dont care about anything but the food. They nail it. We did the dinner for 6 last week and honestly, its more like dinner for 8 since there was so much for the next day. The beef and broccoli was amazing! Only things that fell short were the fortune cookies that were mostly all broken and the rubbery chicken balls. on everything else, and VERY good price. Thank you!!

We tried it for the first time and I wasnt that impressed with the quality. The chicken fried rice was overcooked and very disappointing, they gave us our takeout order in an used liquor box... We gave it a chance but it just missed the mark.

Last night I ordered for the first time food from Peking. I was very disappointed to say the least. The wonton soup had 3 wontons and the rest was lettuce and broccoli, and that was the large soup. The rice was completely dry, absolutely indigestible. The ginger beef was good but the shrimp was absolutely soggy. I will never order Peking again. I am sorry!

Service is quick. The Singapore noodles were a disappointment for a first try, the broccoli beef was mostly broccoli but pretty tasty. The hot and sour soup was a different... Consistency.. than we are used too. Would eat again, but will be trying other places first.

Ordered for the first time and last. My combo was thrown together like slop for pigs. Everything was drenched in sauces and I just couldnt eat anymore. Won Ton soup had zero flavor and the wontons were soggy.

I have never eaten here before but Worst Asian food ever tasted. Not sure what cut of beef they used but the texture was unfamiliar to me. Little to no spice in any of the items and significantly over cooked. Even the chicken fried rice was unpleasant and contained just two pieces of chicken that were unidentifiable in taste and texture. I must have had a new cook because I can t imagine a restaurant staying in business regularly serving this quality of food.

Good food but the delivery cost on the website and the Skip markup deterred me from ordering. During a recent work event someone brought in food from Peking Way and it was very good. Tonight I wanted to order some for myself but after starting an order on their website I saw it was a $5 delivery fee + whatever I tipped when I only wanted $40 worth of food and didnt want to go get it. I looked on Skip and all of the same menu items were marked up $1 or more and I wasnt ordering $55 to get the free delivery which made it even more expensive. Even if I did, the markup per item would work out to more than directly ordering. Ultimately I decided not to order since a 25% markup on the food to have someone bring it 3 minutes to my house wasnt worth it. I ended up ordering from another restraunt that had more reasonable delivery prices for the quantity I was ordering. So long story short the food is good but the pricing wasnt.

Ordered the ginger beef and sweet and sour pork and they had the exact same sauce on both and neither came with any veggies in the dishes just two containers of meat that tasted exactly the same. The vegetable chowmein only had a few pieces of broccoli in it and no other veggies. Totally disappointed and won t ever order from here again, cheaping out on ingredients isn t going to save you money as you ll only lose customers.

Hands down the best Chinese food restaurant in town, and our preferred place to order from. Ordered the Ginger Beef, Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken Chow Mein, Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls, Garlic Dry Ribs, and Deep Fried Shrimp. Food came hot and on time (scheduled delivery time). Not greasy like some of the other local restaurants. We will be ordering again!

will never order Peking Way again! Ever! Back in May, I ordered take out for Mothers Day and my mom and niece got bloated, had diarrhea. On New Years Day, I gave you guys another try and not only was I bloated, I was constipated and throwing up all day. The chow mein tasted like it wasn t rinsed and was cooked in can water. Left an awful taste in my mouth. The spare ribs had a great crunchy coating but were undercooked and raw inside. The wontons were so bunched up they were uncooked and gooey. They are suppose to be fanned out and crispy. First time ordering but probably won t again.

So Our family has been in spruce for roughly 125 years and with that comes tradition and not wanting to change....we were very loyal to another chinese place in town. BUT after being told to try Peking Way several times we did and OMG!! So happy that we did. Our new family fav for chinese.

All the meat in our order was so tough, even the chicken. The cow mean noodles were in a lump, all glued together. The sweet and sour boneless pork was the toughest Ive ever had and my guest threw most of hers away, saying she just could not chew them. The only good thing was the free spring rolls. They were good. Will never order from here again.

Im celiac. I called and inquired before ordering food. They assured me they could make the dishes gluten free. I ordered fried rice, chop suey and dry ribs (once again verified this was able to be made gluten free and she said yes). I was elated! Service was great and the staff and environment was warm and open. I got home and opened the dry ribs, which looked coated. Being scared of having a reaction, I called back to confirm this was made gluten free. I was put on hold and then she came to say there was flour but it was gluten free. I asked what kind of flour and asked if it was corn starch. She replied but her tone was not sure. I had one, and ended up being ill for the rest of the night. Dont say you can accommodate people who have celiac disease and lie. This causes severe pain and intestinal damage. I wont eat here again because you werent truthful despite all the times I asked. I wouldnt have ordered the dry ribs if you said you couldnt make them gluten free. Dont go here if you are celiac.

Peking Way is amazing!! Went there for the buffet to try after being recommended to go and it was more than worth it!! The best Chinese food I ve had for a long time and everything was good, not just the staples! A very cute little place with nice decor, very clean and even the bathrooms were done nicely! If you enjoy Chinese cuisine even a little bit you will love Peking Way!!

I really dislike ordering take out for a first experience but Covid. So we ordered some food on May 17th we were told it would be ready by 530. 530 came around and our food wasnt ready yet took another 30 mins when we finally got it it was cold. I had the combo 2 and the gf had beef chow mein. She had a total of 2 small pieces of beef and the rest was nothing but bean sprouts no veggies no flavour just bean sprouts and a lot of liquid it was also very oily. My meal was meh at best beef and veggies had 1 piece of beef and in cut cauliflower and broccoli and everything was thrown into one container! Only thing that was not awful were the potstickers but thats because they were not made in house. I will try this place again and update the review when dine in is open.

Food was really good but a bit too salty. Service was excellent, the owner is very nice and friendly. Had Szechuan Shrimp that was actually spicy and tasted really good, Salt and Pepper Pork Chops were flavoured very well and crispy, Beef and Broccoli was good but too salty, Singapore Noodles were good and nicely flavoured as well. Socially distant tables, staff in the front were wearing face masks and made us feel safe. They gave us plates and forks and knives which we are definitely not used to growing up in a Chinese household, not sure if its their norm but would definitely prefer bowls and chopsticks! Was a bit more expensive than other Chinese restaurants but was very good. Would recommend and will definitely be coming back.

Place is too inconsistent each time you order. Most recent (October 16) order was blah and far from good. The beef chow mein had maybe three pieces of beef and the noodles were just oily. No other vegetable to be found in this dish. Assorted mix vegetables were broccoli with a couple pieces of onions and a piece or two of celery. Would hardly call that mixed veg. The sweet and chili chicken that specifically says no batter...came with batter. Green onion cakes were good.

Enormous bone found in one of the first few chicken balls we had. I can understand how a tiny little bone could get missed - but this is no tiny bone. Even if we could look past the bone - the food flavour was okay at best. And the pop was delivered to us warm. Although, a plus was that their staff were both quick and friendly. However, very disappointed. Will not be ordering again in the future. My trust in the safety of their food has been lost.

We are new to town and have tried a few different Chinese food places since our move to spruce; some are okay some not so much but this place is amazing! We placed and order for pick up upon walking in the place is smaller but extremely clean and high end with a great vibe. I thought the prices were fair and consistent with the surrounding area. After living in Spruce Grove for 13 years, it seems like sacrilege to even whisper it under your breath...but this place is better than Bings. There...I said it! Dont get me wrong, still love the Bings, but they are definitely not the only game in town anymore! The food here is very fresh. The ginger beef was crisp and tasty (if a little too spicy for the rest of the family). The chicken balls are literally little chunks of chicken with a thin, light batter. The dry garlic pork is tasty and and not too dry or too greasy. The spring rolls rocked! Even the kids said they couldnt wait to come back.

Best ginger beef in Spruce Grove. Lots of ginger and spicy chillies. Family owned restaurant. They also have a lunch buffet which was perfect. Waitress (daughter?) was a little inexperienced. We will be back. Update: Went back again Feb. 18, and my wife had the ginger beef again (excellent and spicy) and I had the Peking Way Kung Pao chicken. Incredible flavour. I started with a wonton soup, and it was hot and tasty too. We both love the food here and other reviewers who state their food had no taste, must have been at the Subway next door. A great alternative to Bings. LOL.

We usually order take away, but we were at a hockey game with some out of town family members and decided to go have something light...well we ended up having their Saturday lunch buffet.. It was DELISH!! It isnt a large buffet, however; everything there was very good... And the BEST part...ONLY $13.95 The food is good and fresh...not greasy or heavy. The staff are pleasant. The decor is pretty and the whole restaurant is clean. Definitely worth the stop, it is just across the parking lot from the Tri-Leisure Centre.

So fresh! Had heard of this place, but was quite committed to my previous restaurant. On a whim, we stopped in. There was nothing I tried that I wouldnt recommend. The service was excellent.

Sat down for lunch at 1pm and was given a glass of water and then the server disappeared for an hour. Food was barely warm. There were three in our party and there were 6 chicken balls out on the buffet and 4 spring rolls. They were not refilled even when other patrons showed up. We were never offered another glass of water, the waitress was too busy eating her own lunch to even come to ask if we needed anything else. We had to stand at the counter to pay to leave, no one came by to ask if we wanted anything else. We will not go back to this establishment, service, food and overall experience was awful.

Okay, Im out of town and feel like chinese. I do the google thing to find good chinese restaurants in Spruce. This place was given four plus stars and it deserves it. The meal was hot and the vegetables were fresh! No limpy brocoli here. Not much to the restaurant (new building) quite small, but who cares? It was good.

tried the first chinese place in spruce grove and wasn t impress the ginger beef was ok, but the kung pao chicken under the chicken section not vegetable was literally about 1/4 of chicken breast with %90 veggies, all celery and onions and carrots, for almost $15. plus nuts (cashews) that they don t show on menu or told on phone if you have an allergy. really not impressed for what you pay and when you get almost pure veggies

As someone that travels all over the US and Canada, this has been one of the best EVER chinese places Ive had. I did carry out, and loved everything but the food proposition were just too much for me to finish, and it was all very cheap. If you want to hang out with friends or coworkers in a light sighting, consider their bar and order 6 egg rolls. Trust me.

Our new favorite go to Chinese restaurant by far. We have sampled the offerings of Peking Way 3 times now and is officially our favorite. Bings has to step up to match. No more 2+ hours waiting to get our take out for us. Thank you to the staff and a tip of the hat to the chef.

Worst food i ve Had in a long time. I m sure the food was re-heated from lunch and when I called to let them know all I received were numerous OK s. I wouldn t of written a review if I received better customer service. If owners want to stay in business then they really should take some lessons on customer service. So people please don t waste your time or money, as it is not cheap.

We have been looking for good Chinese food ever since our usual place started serving poor tasting food. We decided to try out the newest Chinese food restaurant in Spruce Grove: Peking Way Chinese Cuisine. I am so happy that we did. The owner/hosts are so amazing, friendly, and accommodating. We had barely began sipping on our drinks before we were being served our food, made fresh, and piping hot. The food was flavorful and delicious. We will definitely be back again.

awesome food, best i have had in 5 years of being in the edmonton area, i was surprised by the amount of food. onion cake and home sauce they have is amazing. ill be back regularly, cool menus too.

I love how clean it is. From the tables to the floor and even the washrooms, all was spotless. The food was fresh, full of flavor and price met quality. I hope to see this establishment move to a larger location some day and possibly get a smorg.

Friendly staff and the food was awesome. Try the Mu Xu Pork, it was a real surprise. This is probably my favorite Chinese food place in Parkland County so far.

The new management is nothing compared to what this place was before. Its overpriced for what you get and its about as good as Bings. They used to have interesting dishes that you couldnt get in other Chinese restaurants in the area, but now its incredibly boring. I wont be returning. Shame on you for letting this fantastic restaurant turn into this, Spruce Grove.

Visiting from Chicago and just wanted to this place out since it was riggt across from the hotel. Ordered cantonese pan fried noodles and cripsy ginger beef and was very pleasantly surprised. Staff was very courteous. Thanks!

The restaurant is under new ownership and Im sad to say it is nothing like the old restaurant under the former owners. The new staff there are quite friendly, and that is the only reason I gave it above a 1*. The food Im afraid is bland and boring. I was very disappointed and I wont be returning.

Ate here tonight, and i have to say. Its some of the best food ive had. The taste and cook on everything was amazing. Definitely recommend and will be back!!

We were underwhelmed by the food. We wet with a Combo for 1 each. When you have something that reads Combo for 1 I feel like it means you make this all the time, you have mastered it, and know how to plate it perfectly. When the meal arrived the deep fried chicken balls had a drizzle of sweet and sour sauce. Why cheap out on sweet and sour sauce? The pork part of the dish was okay but the rest of it was lacking any of the normal sweetness you expect from Canadian Chinese food. On the plus side they have really cool menus that look like scrolls. On the downside I am certain those scrolls will be ruined after a few months.

I tried the green onion cakes, chicken fried rice and honey garlic ribs, and I enjoyed all of it. Very friendly staff. Currently my favorite Chinese place in town.
