My friends and I are weekly visitors to Pizza Spot, it is out go-to restaurant for lunch and pizza. The menu offers a variety of choices with daily specials. The food is delicious and always served in a timely manner. The staff are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. Parking: Parking is right out front, only a few steps to the door.

I was running supremely late coming back from work one out of town and I called and the manager I assume was still there and made my food at five minutes before closing time! Now that s what I call service and he did an excellent job of it as well!

Have had the pizza before and it was excellent so tried on of their pasta and it was good but could use some minor improvement. The pasta was a little overcooked and the sauce and meatballs tasted a tad on the over salted side and I would say I have a pretty good salt tolerance. I would probably just stick to their pizza for future orders.

I feel like this is a bit unknown and underrated spot in Spruce Grove. Food and service is fantastic, and they have a really nice, quiet and shady little patio as well.

On a shopping trip to Spruce Grove, a few years ago, we stumbled upon this gem, and decided to give them a try. Are we ever glad that we did! From our first visit, George, the owner, made us welcome, and took such good care of us! The pizza is all homemade, and is so delicious! We love coming in here. Its worth the drive!

I didnt have diabietes but im pretty sure the barbecue chicken pizza i had gave me mass amount of sugar overload it was like eating a pizza of syrup super gross no onions not enough chicken when people order something like meat lovers or somthing with meat we the customer paying expect there to be reasonable amount not a chinsy amount ill take half the credit i ordered it but thats STRIKE1 !STEP IT UP.

We have eaten here 4-5 times and have blown away by the recommendation of the Owner and his Staff. Today he recommended marinated olives as an appetizer we were so very impressed by the dish. we have never liked olives before. Absolutely delicious !! Highly Recommend Trying Pizza Spot

I went for lunch yesterday. I had small pizza and wings. My food was excellent. It was hot and served In a reasonable amount of time. My server (Ronak) was awesome. He was very friendly, attentive and professional. The place was spotlessly clean. The oven to cook pizza in looks pretty cool too. The lady preparing food was also very friendly. We did not interact much but when we made eye contact as I was looking around she gave a big smile and a nod as her hands were busy with food prep. Anyways Ill be back.

Ordered two large pizzas for pick up. Crust of both pizzas where completely soggy and undercooked. The top of the crust was still doughy. These are expensive pizzas with upscale toppings (and upscale price). Generally I enjoyed the flavour of the pizza, but I would never pay for it again due to the soggy bottoms.

Loved the friendly and efficient service, but our pizzas were horrible. Flavours were very disappointing (and some just gross). After tasting a few bites of each pizza, they went in the trash. I wanted to like it so much after reading reviews...maybe it was an off night?

Went here tonight for dinner with my two kids 5 and 10 month and nephew 11. Such a great experience! Our waitress was amazing, so friendly, made great recommendations and just so pleasant. She treated the kids so well! When it came time for their gelato she graciously sampled them many different flavours until they decided what flavour they wanted. 10/10 experience. Great food, service and the manager is also super friendly and present in the restaurant!

We have just recently been to the pizza spot and stopped in for our second time last weekend. We had a few appetizers and kids meals. The food was great and super fast. The waitress was very kind to the kids and they were excited to go pick out their gelato with her. We will be back!

Only 8 people in restaurant and we waited over 1.5 hrs for our food and after all that wait, they didn t get the order right Unbelievably unorganized. We were told 3 times the the pizzas just went in the oven, yet After 2 hrs we still didn t get our 8 pizza s and salads. We asked several times what was taking so long and all the waitress kept saying is, I m sorry, I don t know The waitress then comes and says that the manager says all we can do is give you 15% off . Although we weren t looking for a discount , the offer of 15% off the bill to compensate the 2 hr wait is a joke. Needless to say, we didn t get our food, paid for our drinks and left!!!!! Hoping this manager takes this as a serious problem and corrects the issue in the kitchen so no one else has to have this happen to them.

I have never had a bad experience at Pizza Spot, food is great etc, but via Skip the Dishes I just ordered a pizza and a double scoop of gelato ($9) and I received a golf ball sized single scoop..

I ve popped in a few times and always a good vibe and great atmosphere. The waitress Char-lee is exceptional, always has a smile on her face & works really hard . The food has never disappointed me, the pizza, the soup, the wings, even the music lol. Also the cook Nancy works really hard in the kitchen. We will definitely be back!

The nice lady that s served us this morning was very professional and very sweet. Upon entering the store we were greeted with a warm smile and great service. Me and my partner ordered the angry Italian and despite the name actually made us very happy, we thought it tasted very good and at a very fair price. My husband has been raving about this place and tonight, we went as a family. I feel like the name doesn t do it justice, because for a brief moment I was transported from Spruce Grove to a hole in the wall in Italy. The food really does rival some of our fave spots in Italy. Great food (gluten free options and more than just pizza), and fantastic service/atmosphere. Will be back!

SO GOOD!!! they gave my kid pizza dough to play with, which is so different from the coloring page and crayons we are all used to, that immediately made me want to tell my friends! The food was awesome, pineapple was way better than most pizza places (probably fresh?) Both of us had Hawaiian pizza and the soup of course was amazing. Came for lunch, was not insanely busy and we were helped right away and it was quick. Recommend for a lunch with co workers over a lunch break, as well for families with kids. I recently had a pizza at The Pizza Spot, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the crust, toppings, sauce, and overall service. The crust was crispy -not too thin and not too sponge-like - and delicious. The toppings were fresh and flavourful. The service was top-notch as well - the staff was friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back for more!

We have ordered take out pizza here a few times, the dough is very good (as a born and raised Italian I m kind of picky about my pizza), and we have never been disappointed! Today instead we ate in the restaurant and we had the pleasure to talk to the Owner George, a young, kind and humble person, it s amazing how he is running his business with such passion and hard work (he studied hard to become a chef, and it shows!). We want to thank him for his warm welcome and to thank the staff that took care of our order in such a quick and timely manner. You guys rock! :)

George (the owner) was incredible! We received our order via delivery and our vegan pizza had meat on it, when we called he immediately re-made our pizzas and HAND DELIVERED THEM HIMSELF! He remembers us every time we order again and the (replacement) pizza we ate was OUTSTANDING! We 10/10 recommend Pizza Spot!

I had lunch with a friend here today for the first time. I had the Pesto shrimp pizza, and my friend had the Fungi Pizza and both were so delicious! Our server was so lovely and it was great experience overall.

We ve been coming here regularly for several years, driving from Edmonton just to eat at this place. We love everything about them, the food, the service, the attention to our toddler. I highly recommend trying them out.

......The Pizza Spot has a meatball bacon sub....but they use a hamburger patty a meatball....but you have to ask them a dozen times not to burn but still probably will burn it. I asked 4 times not to burn it.....the guy lies to me and says it is not burnt. Then he lies to me again....tried to tell me that I ordered it well done. They did not respond to Better Business Bureau. They now have a F rating.

My wife and I had a large steak and mushroom pizza with the white sauce. It was absolutely delicious! The crust was excellent, the toppings were generous, and the cheese was not only plentiful, but also seemed to be of premium quality. The gentleman serving us was very attentive, and checked on us frequently. The decor was nice and everything appeared neat and tidy. I will definitely return. :)

If you havent already, you need to meet George! Hes kind and genuine and offers excellent customer service. I was also introduced to Steve, the other owner, who seems just as wonderful! Unfortunately, we were pretty disappointed with our food last time we ordered. The pizza is decent but we got some pretty pitiful items. The Caesar salad was lacking in lettuce of all things and we had bacon bits on the pizza, why not on the salad? Also the olive dip is basically a bunch of olives (pits in) and peppers thrown together with some feta cheese. No dip in sight. Honestly, if you want anything other then pizza there are better place to order from in town.

I went out to this restaurant yesterday with a friend. Luckily, the place we were originally planning to go was closed so we got to enjoy the fantastic experience that is the PizzaSpot. We tried 3 pizzas and an appetizer: Classic Margherita, Pesto Prawn, and Funghi for the pizzas and the marinated olives for the appy. I was expecting the Pesto Prawn to be the best one, and when I tasted it it was exquisite. But the Funghi came out from behind and blew my socks off. Fantastic pizzas! The pricing is excellent for artisanal pizzas and the atmosphere is fantastic. Our server said she was new, and while it took her a moment to figure out where the buttons were on her order screen, she did a fantastic job as our server. I also tried the Hazelnut Mocca coffee. I ordered the drink, and then noticed it was $7. I was taken aback, there is no way its worth $7! But holy smokes, dear me, that was the best dang mocca I have ever tasted. 100% worth the prize. The roasted Hazelnut taste I can still taste in my mind today and I was sad when it was emptied. All in all, I recommend this place. It is well worth a trip, even coming from the East side of Edmonton for lunch.

Great food and service! My wife and I had the crab cakes to start. Then for mains the basil pesto linguine along with the meatball and bacon pizza. Everything was delicious. Highly recommended.

Well the pizza has good flavor and good topping amount. Unfortunetly, I called in ahead of time and asked for it to be put in the oven for a specific time. They only started to make it when I arrived and it ended up rushed leaving the dough raw. Shame for such a nice oven.

THE BEST SPINACH ARTICHOKE DIP IN TOWN! Tried two different pizzas and both were delicious. Spinach dip appetizer was super cheesy and not greasy at all! Sooo good! Very nice space, clean, modern, friendly staff. We had a take-out medium Hawaiian with mushrooms & green pepper. $26. A HUGE disappointment. This was the most tasteless pizza I have had in many many years, perhaps ever. It didnt even meet the standard of the regular corner pizza joints. I leave few bad reviews, but this one cant go unposted.

No restaurant is perfect, but every time we come here we receive great service, we will continue to support the pizza spot! 10/10 recommend

Pizza was extremely overdone. Although the main part was edible, the crust was tough and burnt. Had it been cooked properly it would have been awesome.

Awesome customer service and food is at reasonable prices. Highly recommended this place.

Positive experience. Was passing through Spruce Grove and learned of this restaurant through Groupon. Service and food was good. The Manager/ Owner (?) was very friendly, helpful and enthusiastic with my table and the others as well. Will come back if Im in the area again.

Bought a work lunch for my team, put in an order of 21 pies online in the morning and was ready when I showed up to pick up. One of the staff helped carry everything to the vehicle, pizza was amazing! Dinning area looked really nice 10/10 would recommend.

We had a small salad, 10 wings, medium pizza & gelato (thank you!). Prices are good and food was delicious. We had the Angry Italian pizza and my bf, who NEVER thinks food is spicy unless he cooks it with his 6 million scoville unit sauce, thought it was perfect! lol I also managed to enjoy it. The service was excellent and the owner so friendly. We ll definitely be back (from south Edmonton!)

Amazing service, always friendly, polite, and they make sure everything is great during your meal. Not to mention the food is fantastic!! From pasta to their sandwiches, and amazing Cesar salad, you can t go wrong!!

Great food! When I order pasta, I dont want egg noodles and ketchup, I want pasta. The pizza spot gave me pasta however, I got my meal to go and when I opened the bag there were no utensils or napkins. Luckily, the place I was eating my food had plastic forks.

Kids meals are great, toddler loves the dough to play with before and gelato after. Staff are friendly and fast

This is my sons favorite place to eat in Spruce Grove! We are frequent customers and the food and customer service has always been 10/10. They know my son by name and know his order when we come through the door. Originally we were disappointed to know that Famoso was closing their doors, however they incorporated many of our favourite items back into the new restaurant and added even more delicious items! I recommend that everyone try this place, you won t be disappointed!

We had the Butter Chicken pizza - excellent! And a good price for what I think is a gourmet pizza. George, the owner is very personable, and I was happy to hear this is a family business! You wont be disappointed!

I ordered a pepperoni pizza via Skip the Dishes, they delivered the wrong pizza. I called the restaurant and they delivered my original order. Excellent customer service!

First time trying this place. I ordered 2 small pizzas, dry ribs and wings. All of it was burnt. Will not be ordering from there ever again.

The food was hot but the meat on the meat eaters pizza was freezer burnt. Why would any restaraunt try to pass off old meat for fresh ingrediants? That spoiled my 1st. Time ordering from them and wont come back.

Great Lunch Spot I d recommend Vegetariano Sandwich and Tomato Bisque . I still have 1/2 a sandwich for later . Check out the daily specials and the loyalty program we are three stamps away from a free Large pizza ! Vegetarian options: Grilled Zucchini and Fresh Argula on a Sandwich was delicious!

My brother Ken Lys asked if I would post this for him after our visit to The Pizza Spot .. First time here .My sister comes here regularly and brought me here for the lunch special an individual pizza plus a salad any choice from the menu!! I ordered the Caprese salad with the butter chicken pizza. Wonderful friendly service. The salad was so fresh and delicious and beautifully presented. And even more impressive was the pizza on freshly made pizza dough fired in the huge ceramic pizza oven. There is nothing like the aroma and taste of freshly baked bread, light, fluffy and a hint of yeast. Superb meal and great price. I ll go visit my sister again soon!!

What a great spot! The food was fantastic. The pizza was delicious, thinner crust with super gooey cheese and a nice fresh tomato sauce and the bruschetta was so tasty! Loved the addition of the balsamic glaze. Will definitely be back. Service was impeccable. 10/10!

Quality food at a very affordable price

Impeccable pizza and service! We had the meatball bacon which was honestly the best pizza we have ever had, and if you like a spicy pizza the Calbresa is where it s at! We were served by the owner who gives 110% into his work, attentive and kind to everyone who came in. Seated us immediately and gave us some playdoh for our toddler. They have a nice atmosphere with a rotating stone oven and a large cocktail selection. 10/10 will recommend to everyone! Kid-friendliness: Seemed very family friendly while still having sports and drinks available

Had an opportunity to pick up dinner here again. Food was great and the owner lovely.

Great spot with good pizzas and cheap local beer on tap. We had the Campio beer for $7! Had the wings to start. They were tasty and had a good amt of meat. I asked if the skins were crispy and the waitress said yes however they were anything but. Gotta have crispy skins man!! I would recommend the wings but ask for crispier skins. We had honey garlic and it was tasty! For pizza we each had a small Canadian and Calabrese. Both were great. The Calabrese was a bit spicy but not too bad. The Canadian was our favourite though. A small pizza would be enough (no appies). We wish we hadn t ordered the wings cuz the last piece of pizza was tough to finish LOL! Too much food. We always do that when we re hungry!! Only recommendation I have on the pizzas is to cook them slightly more. I like my pizza dough to be cooked so it s got a snap when u bite it. We will be back!

Love this place. Cannot recommend it enough! The beer on tap is great. The wine is fantastic. The tiramisu cheesecake is a MUST. The gellato is delicious. Our favorite is the margarita pizza, the meatball appy and the meatball sub. They are so good, we always order them and have yet to move on and try the other food. LOL

Great food!!! Our server never seemed to notice us even though we were the only ones in the restaurant for lunch. Very nice and kind just didnt pay much attention.

I do not usually leave reviews but our recent experience with this place is worthy of one. Great selection of pizzas and you can even make your own if you d like. Pasta selection was great too and the server (might be the owner) even made us an off the menu pasta that was really really good. Pizza, pasta, and cold beer on tap just hit the spot!

Went to the pizza spot before our sons Christmas Concert tonight..The service was excellent, our waitress was very friendly and checked in on us (but not excessively). The pizza was excellent. We will definitely be back.

By far the best pizza we ve had and super friendly service. Highly recommended!!!
