Tutti Frutti has been inviting people of all ages to rendez-vous with the delicate pleasures of having breakfast and lunch together.
This is the second time I brought my children to this restaurant. I have to say.. they really enjoyed the menu. My 10 year old couldn’t stop eating. He ordered an adult sized classic burger, and since kids can eat free after 4 pm, he got his free kids meal. He ordered the crepe. He ate both meals. My toddler loved the Bacon & Grill Cheese with fruit & fries. I laughed when she told the waitress, “I’m going home, and want to bring all these” as she points to her fruit bowl. Food was fresh, the chef timed everything perfectly. Was so esthetically pleasing to look at. We went at about 6 pm, people were just leaving from the dinner rush. The waitress is so nice. My daughter is usually a shy girl, but really likes the waitress here. If you are looking for some place to bring the kids that is not going to break the bank. This is the place! Breakfast and lunch is their specialty, but there’s something on the menu no matter what time you go!
First and last time there. We were seated and I had to finally ask someone for menus. Food came, had to return mine as very overcooked. We were finished our meal, and again had to wait for our server to bring bill. Finally walked to entrance and asked to pay our bill. Waited again for our server to finally bring it. This is the first time I’ve left $0 tip ever! Definitely won’t be back!
I ordered a veggie egg white omelette as part of a take out order. None of the dish resembled an egg white omelette. It’s was a pile of over cooked tasteless egg whites(I think) with cheese dumped all over it. When cut into it it just bleed oil. Terrible! Went to return it and they said that’s how they make their egg white omelettes and did nothing to make something edible. For a restaurant that boasts a healthy choice section on their menu they might want to google an image of an egg white omelette and make it properly. And whatever happened to customer service and being responsible for the food that leaves your restaurant? No possible chance of a refund in person instead dumping it on skip the dishes and the customer to deal with. What’s wrong with the food industry this day and age. Charging a fortune and pushing out sub par food. Ridiculous and Terrible experience all around!
Stumbled in slightly hung over and looking for something to fill the hole. I went with an 8:00 am Diet Coke and BLT with fried potato. It was cheap and served its purpose. Moreover, I thought it was noteworthy how cheery the staff were, everyone who walked in the door were wished a good morning and everywhere I looked I was greeted by giant smiles.
GROSS PLACE do not go . The women working here walk around in circles filling coffee, talking, no actual work. They will not clean around their guests . This boss seriously needs to fire people, especially the one with red hair doing literally nothing. The kitchen’s great. Food came fast and tasted good.
Food was mediocre here. Went on a Saturday so it was predictably busy. The problem was we sat down for about 20 mins before a waiter/waitress came to see us for drinks. Again I know it's busy but management should bring in more staff. Waitresses never checked on us either. No coffee refills. I know it's not their fault because of how busy it was but again management needs to be aware and make changes. Also the pictures on the menus looked good. Food arrived on plate was pretty chincy with the fruit. Literally took 2 hours and I had to prompt waitress to for refills and bill
Don't go on a Sunday. They were understaffed and service was incredibly slow. We were waiting over an hour and the waitress took forever to fetch cutlery and napkins after she brought our food without a way to eat it. Requesting water and the bill were also extremely slow. They clearly need to hire more staff, at least on weekends. The food was good. The Mexican poutine was pretty good.
Wonderful experience at this Tutti Frutti place. The server was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the process. Great place to have a relaxing break and some heavy food! The food was pretty good, commendable and fresh! Had a very happy time there! The drinks is the only thing I feel could have been better but the exceptional service made it a very happy experience! Will recommend and will visit again!
Just delicious! Best breakfast.
This place sucks period. We had to wait for 20 minutes before someone came to get our order. They give us the wrong order. After getting the food my son told me that the food looks like its been sitting fir months. 1 hour after eating the food, my son started vomiting and I had the same plus diarrhea. Worst experience ever
Food decent but my favorite is breakfast poutine. Service a lil slow and the place really needs free pop refills.
Quality experiences.
This was our first time here and we were bowled over by the service and quality of food even on a busy Saturday! Our waitress was Becky (Rebecca) and she went out of her way to accommodate our childrens requests. This is definitely going to be a regular spot for us!
Awesome atmosphere and service
Great food! Very clean! Great service. Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free Food : 4/5 |
This is the local gem for your breakfast (and not only) needs. Friendly staff, great tasting food, what else do you need? Kid-friendliness: They have kids friendly options on the menu
I dont recommend supporting this place, my wife and I and our toddler son went in for breakfast moments ago. We requested a booth because we have a toddler. And hes active. The lady at the front refused and stated its only for parties of 4. We look right in front of us there is a white couple and child in a booth. We left.
Slow service
We came here for dinner tonight and the server took a long time to get to us while seating and serving us. There were only two other tables in the restaurant. So it was not a busy time at all. Food took 40 minutes to get served to us as well. It was just a disappointing experience for us tonight as it s usually pretty decent! Even on their busier days I feel like we are usually served faster than that.
The combo dishes are perfect to share between two people. The first visit we tried the crispy combo with blueberries and it was delicious! The second visit was their new Banana Nutella combo. This time I took photos. It splits nicely as I love the waffles and hashbrowns and my husband eats the bacon & eggs with the toast (he got to to the toast before I did).
Placed an order through their website, and had some issues. The ticket that printed out in the restaurant was missing items that my email confirmation showed, and they had to make for me after I had already come to pick up. Also when you add maple syrup to a combo it says 120mL, but when I got home I realized they only gave me 1 little 59mL syrup cup which was only about 2/3 full.
Went in because wed been assured that there were Celiac options. After a half an hour we managed to put in an order, but they do not support Celiac at all. My sister, who I get to see once or twice a year left crying. I wanted to leave on the spot but due to children and a pregnant family member we stayed to eat. Forty five minutes after ordering we are informed that the kitchen is just starting to cook our meals. According to the staff this is normal on a busy Sunday and that an hour long wait for the meal to cooked is perfectly normal. Meanwhile people who had come in after us had already eaten and left. It didnt seem that busy to me, but if you cant handle the customers you need more staff. Cost per meal was extremely high and theyre nickel and diming. Best example, we asked for multigrain toast. They indicated it was a full $1 on top of everything else. When it arrived it was a single piece of toast. I used to love going to Tutti Frutti. Will not be back. Would not suggest for large groups, or children. Dietary restrictions: No options for Celiac at all, regardless of what the website may say.
Don t go here if you are celiac. The waitress basically told me I couldn t eat here, I asked for an omelette and explained if they used a clean frying pan then it should be fine, she said they couldn t clean a pan for me and couldn t guarantee there wouldn t be cross contamination so I shouldn t eat there. Pretty frustrating as I was there with 10 other family members so I left as I didn t want to sit and watch everyone eat while I got nothing. Family members also told me it took over an hour to get their food and it was cold once they got it. Do not recommend if I could give 0 stars I would
Had to wait half and hour for my food very bad (don t recommend)
It was busy and we had a long wait for food, but thats to be expected at noon on Mothers Day. The server took our drink orders quickly and let us know it would be longer than usual for food to come out. She checked in with us several times to give updates on our food. Its a little pricy for what you get, but unfortunately thats the case everywhere nowadays. Overall the food was good, service was great.
Terrible service long food wait times and the food was not even that good DO NOT RECOMMEND
Good food and sevice
May I know who is the owner? Manager of this restaurant? How can I contact him/her ? Thanks
For the past ten months, a group of about ten ladies from our community has been going out for lunch. Last Wednesday we dined at Tutti Frutti and were sorely disappointed. Not even one person thought her meal was good. Many of us had quesadillas which were substandard. How can one ruin a quesadilla? Scrambled eggs were burnt. The menu stated that either soup or fried potatoes were the side with the quesadillas. They did not have any soup to serve. Fried potatoes really arent a suitable side for such a meal. We all were very disappointed in our meals and will definitely not do lunch again at Tutti Frutti.(I have had breakfast there several times and the food was good. Maybe the restaurant needs to stick to breakfast only.)
I love it here not too busy great service and food
If you are wanting a peaceful breakfast stay the heck at home. This place is so freaking noisy when filled with sports teams especially screaming girls!!! The SERVICE is in dire need of HELP 45 minutes to get ones meal needless to say eggs take a few minutes to cook. Waffles overcooked and all crumbs. Bacon so greasy. PORTIONS are satisfying.
Food was delicious
Becky was awesome we loved her but way too many flies inside. Kinda weird for January
This place has really gone down hill hugely since it first opened. COVID basically destroyed the food and the service it s all terrible now honestly we only eat here very rarely now because it has more options for our family even if they re terrible .. it used to be a place went went probably weekly at least! Now they always get our order wrong and the place is not clean at all. New fixtures are BADLY needed especially for the booths the upholstery is all caked and dirty, the seats are all ripped and disintegrating. Don t recommend anymore unless you have no other options .. But will give a shout out to the one server Becky who is super awesome!! I actually feel badly that her work environment went this downhill with the kitchen now been terrible and the restaurant fixtures being destroyed and the place generally being unclean. It s even dirty Dietary restrictions: Has GF options but not sure how careful or informed they are.
Its been a few years since I have been at this location. It has gone downhill. You can see the wear and tear on the furnishings, booths look shabby, tears in the fabric. Horrible service! I was treating a friend who had never been to a Tutti Frutti, I regret my choice of a restaurant. The order was taken, a simple one of an omlette and basic bacon and eggs, then we never saw her again. When I went up front to inquire about our meal at the 45-minute mark, she was sent over to the table. While asking how much longer, she said its usually 1/2 an hour to get your food (already over 45 mins), and she wasnt sure she would check. I replied that if its more than 5 minutes, she should cancel the order. She came back about 5 minutes later with a lame excuse of there still being 4 big tables ahead of you. Very frustrated we left, as we walked through the resteraunt, there were no large parties seated unless you classified a 5 top as a large party. I appreciate honesty and would have patiently waited for our meals, but to suggest your kitchen was the problem, when obviously the server forgot to order our food. I can not recommend dining at this resteraunt if you want stress free dining.
great service & food
We went to this restaurant for the first time. Breakfast was delicious, well price and the service was amazing. We will definitely be back. Well done
Poor service, bland unappealing standard fare. Nothing remarkable. Likely won t return.
Garbage place to eat. Service is brutal and the food ain t much better. Sat there for 20 mins well everyone walked past us and never once asked if we even wanted a coffee. Then when we asked if we could get coffee the response was give me 5 mins . We ended up walking out because no one would come to our table. The table beside us also had to walk out. February 16 at 10:30am. It s far from busy so get it together folks.
Went to this place yesterday for breakfast, it was extremely quiet only about 4 people there, we got the menus and sat there and waited for someone to take our order for 20min as the waitress stood 10ft away from us taking to what appeared to be her friends, then when we finally got orders the bacon was eather burnt to a crisp or was completely under cooked my eggs where cold and the sausage seemed like it was reheated in a microwave, the service was very bad and the food was even worse, we will never be going back there
Food was delicious and the service provided by Becky was the friendliest Ive received at a restaurant in a long time
The waiter would come to our table, ask if we need anything and how to food was every 3 minutes and we would not have time to enjoy our food together because the waiter would come to us too much.
My family and i, were coming here ever since it was open . And waited for it to reopen when pandemic hits us. I am very sad to experience this long wait for us to be seated and the another waiting time for the orders to be taken , sadly i was taking highly about the quality of food and service here and yet we just walk out the store and carry on. I understand the short staff issue 1 server (she is great and very friendly), and 2 cooks. Paying customer desserve better than this thank you.
It took 48 minutes for our order to come out. I could have gone to the grocery store, bought the ingredients, gone home and cooked them faster than my service today.
My favorite breakfast
Food is very good, staff are very friendly and welcoming, and amazing prices for what you get!
Best place to order your breakfast! I heard they have not enough staff so they struggle to keep up at the actual restaurant, but the food is sooooo goooood! Order the delivery, highly recommend! Worth every penny.
Order the delivery, I understand that wait times in restaurants are longer due to short staffed BUT the food is undeniably delicious and we will continue to order from them. Food I rate 5/5 stars
So much food to choose from!!!
Waited over 50 minutes and they still had not started to cook our order. Kids running around all over the place.
Just had one of the worst experiences at this location. Friday afternoon, and it was total chaos at this restaurant. Went in thinking it was going to be a nice quiet restaurant to have mimosas with my mom and sister. So wrong we were ... There was some sort of party and legit more kids RUNNING around our table than the play house at the Macdonalds ... so unprofessional so what is supposed to be a supposed nice place to eat. Took almost an hour to take our drink order and enough time to write this review. I highly recommend any other restaurant.
Too busy on.weekends but food is great
Avoid is kind of all I have to say about this place. Grossly understaffed and any waitstaff they do have - dont properly listen then blame you for their mistakes. We were a party of 5 that came in on a busy day. Understandable there was a wait but we waited 40 minutes before anyone even took our drink order. They also, got this wrong. We had a small child in our party, who was dead set on a smoothie. Waiter told us there were no smoothies left, then 30 minutes later served the table across from us two smoothies. They also brought us 2x juice orders, that we didnt ask for. And got 2/5 orders completely wrong, then tried to blame us when we politely pointed out that wasnt what we ordered. All in all, we were here for 2.5 hours just trying to eat breakfast. It was not worth it.
The food was good, but the service was awful. In their defense, it was busy. But we received our food & asked 4 times to get utensils so we could eat. I ended up just going & finding the utensils myself because they were never brought to us.
We have been going here for a few years . Today we had the worst experience. Understaffed place , I feel horrible for the servers. My potatoes were cold, I brought my plate to the kitchen and gave it to the server and asked for a warm meal. When I got my meal back the eggs were ice cold. So not like Luke warm, but cold cold. Advertised on the entrance door that kids eat free but we get charged for the kids meal. I ask why the server says oh we forgot to take down the poster... Waited too long for our meal. It used to be our favorite place to go to but once the management changed many thing changed. Eggs Benedict is served on a such a small plate that you cant even cut without pushing all the potatoes off the plate . I am so disappointed. So many things have gone wrong at this place .
Food was quite good. Once we got it. Zero refills on my coffee=Terrible service -Slow staff -Bus staff didn t seem to be working. I ll have a hard time going back. It didn t even seem that busy.
My omelet was quite bland, but big helpings.
Updated they called me and refunded me and is send me a gift card to give it another try. The guy that called was super nice. + If i could give 0 i would. The two lunch items we ordered. Where blah no taste chicken tasted boiled. When the waitree asked how the food was we told her and she is like we are pretty popular for breakfast but not lunch and that was it. Nothing else we did not eat the food. Maybe the waitress could have asked us what wrong with the food and tried to make it right. Also it took 1.5 hr from beginning to end.
Staff are amazing food is not good fruit was mushy ordered an egg white omelette that was terrible.
Great food and amazing staff!
Slow service. Couldnt cook a soft boiled egg
Ive been there quite a few times over the past couple years. The food, service, and cleanliness is always consistent, and of good quality Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options. However; Not as much when it comes to Vegan options
Ordered take out. Came to pick up and paid with Cash. The order was about $20, I gave her $30. The lady at the front asks me if I want my change (you never ask if they want change, you say Ill be back with your change). She comes back and hands me $2.25 and walks away. Thats not anywhere near the correct change from $30. I planned to tip a percentage when she brought back my change but the fact they just decided to tip themselves is theft. I waited a few minutes for her to come back so I could say something but she didnt come back so I left. There was also no utensils or napkins in the bag.
Great selection of interesting dishes
I ordered delivery and put in the notes asking for only melons and apples for my fruit if possible because I m sick and the thought of other fruit makes me nauseous and I was so happy to open the box to only apples and melons:) It may seem like a small thing but it really made my day a lot better, thank you:)
Ate there recently, had an amazing meal! However, it is very sad to learn that I cant tip my waitress appropriately, as 100% of all tips goes to the owner! Will pass this on to all other hockey teams. I will never go there again as owner is robbing there own workers of there well earned tips!!! Cheers!
Great breakfast, large portions and was happy for gluten free pancakes. Service was quick and our server refilled our beverages. Thank you Dietary restrictions: Gluten free
SO GOOD AND FRESH!!!
If I could give 0 I would. 4 tables sat while we waited to get a menu. Over 15 minutes for a glass of water and a coffee. Finally our order was taken yet a table of 3 got their food and finished before us. Severely understaffed, and the wait staff that IS there doesn t pay attention to tables. Absolute garbage place.
Just had Mothers Day brunch here, and I actually said aloud this might be my new favorite breakfast place . Our server, Jenny, was phenomenal!!! We had a group of 12 and the kids were picky, indecisive and rambunctious, and Jenny was so patient and understanding throughout. She got everyone s order perfect, and checked in often (but not too often!) to make sure we had everything we needed. The menu is creative and the food was tasty! Highly as recommend!
Took them 40 minutes to get me my coffee and the cup wasn t even full .
Kids food was good they ate it all, mine was gross couldnt even eat my salad the chicken on my sandwich tasted like it was cooked in 3 day old oil , didnt even have coloring pages for the kids.
Very good food and great atmosphere. The service was good but very slow in our section. Other sections seemed to be flowing at a good pace but we waited over an hour to even get breakfast. The group that was seated just before us was in and out before we even got our food.
We are extremely upset with the time management of this place. My partner spoke so highly of it from his past experience, so we went to check it out for fathers day for him. The waitress we had was very pleasant, with taking our order and giving us refills so cudos to her, but was super busy when we arrived just before 11am, the waitress took our order just a little after 11. We waited until 12:10pm and still nothing came out, so we asked our waiteress what was taking so long for our food as we watched skip the dishes come and go throughout that hour of our waiting time. She came back and said food is being plated. 10 mins later still nothing. So we choose to leave! Over an hour and no food came out. If you cant get the food out within 30 mins than something needs to be reviewed. I hope this place can work on their time management with dine in, and less focus on skip the dishes food being made first. Definitely will not be returning.
While our server was great, the food not so much. Ham and cheese crepe is really ham and cheese spread (not real cheese). Flavour is ok but definitely would prefer real cheese. Apple and cheese crepe is made with apple pie filling. We didn t even eat it, it was that bad. Sadly left hungry.
Had the best Breakfast in a long time here! Everything was Wonderful from beginning coffees to full happy tummies! Thanks to staff for great Breakfast we will be back!
Do not order from them on skip the dishes. Everytime i try to place an order it comes cold with half the meal missing. Would not recommend to anyone ever!!!
Will never be coming here again. there was only 2 other people in the restaurant the whole time, and yet we still had to wait over 10 min just for water. the restaurant was absolutely gross, and was very filthy. our food tasted like it had been sitting in a warmer all day, eggs like rubber, bacon was super tough. ordered milkshakes that came out tasting like water. not impressed at all.
Better off going to Denny s
The food was so delicious, waitresses were very sweet <3 and the iced Nutella coffee was sooo good. Love this place!
Great food, amazing service. Nice family atmosphere. Good selection of gluten friendly items. Dietary restrictions: I m gluten free and the waitress was very knowledgeable
womp womp
We dine in for two yesterday and I came with my friend and its her first time at Tutti Fruitti. I guess somebody call and sick and I feel sorry for the server being alone on busy monday. The food is great and the service is good and we will comeback.
We got there and our waiter sat us down at a booth although we requested a table. We then ordered our food and waited for about 45 minutes just for them to get my order wrong. We discussed and I told them the correct order. After waiting for another 30 minutes for my meal my 6 year old daughter then accidently dropped her chocolate milk. We rushed to clean it up. As my waiter walked over and saw the mess she continued to full on scream at my child. We were fed up at this point and just wanted to get out of there and go home. So I ate my pancakes and moved on to my scrambled eggs. And to my shock they were completely bitter tasting and overall just disgusting. Lastly after eating all of our food we asked for the check and we waited for 26 minutes and 17 seconds(I timed it) we then got tired of waiting so decided to go the front where they didnt have a register. Our waiter then saw us at the front door and YELLED at me and my kids for getting up. Apparently we arent aloud to leave our table until our waiter told us. Which we thought was ridiculous. We explained to our waiter about how we were going to pay, just we were tired of waiting. And once again they started yelling at us. We paid and left. Overall one of my worst dinning experiences.
The food was really greasy. Vegetarian meal came wrong and had to be remade, then it was cold. Another meal was missing toast, and all our meals for a table of 7 came out at random times and not together. Its your typical brunch place, but my sons grilled bacon and cheese sandwich tasted like cheap cooking oil... I dont think Id go back there again.
Very very slow, took 45 minutes to get our food, some people even left because it was so slow
My crepes were a little burnt and took a long time. I thought there would be more fruit but only 1 strawberry.
Food was great. Lots of choices on the menu. Very friendly service. Definitely going back soon Food
I ve dined in many times and it s always been good. Ordered the BLT for takeout today with my family (3 orders) and they were honestly very disappointing. Asked for eggs to be added onto the bagel, and they were placed separately in a small container. Flavour, value and overall lacking. Would never order this item off the menu if you re debating it - spent $60 on this for lunch
Very unorganized. Stood at front waiting to be seated. Once seated, waited again for a waitress. Finally ordered than waited more than 30 minutes for our food. When it finally arrived it was cold. Waitress only appeared when it was time to pay. Wont be back!
We decided to try somewhere new. Went first thing. We were the only ones in there at the start, yet service was still slow. Then regulars filtered in, because the staff happily were chitchatting with them and hanging around them like old friends. And then service got worse. The food was just ok, as was the facility.
What a dump! This restaurant is in dire need of repair. Poor quality of food and very overpriced. Server was great though!
All I can say is well be back again , ALL GREAT. Parking: No problem Food : 5/5 |
Couldn t actually tell you what the food tastes like as we walked out after 45 minutes with no service. Not a good experience. Do not go here.
We ve been going here for 3 years and at first it was great. My husband is from Quebec and we specifically love the potatoes and the way they are served cause it s like a little bit of home in AB. Yet lately the serve has been going south, Deep South. Depending on the server you get depends if you can hear them in a noisy diner without needing to lean in to try and make out what s being said. The food is still good but we re unsure how to convey our food requests. We ask for extra crispy potatoes and they are still soft which makes them gross for us. It s like we have to explain we want them fried twice. Than I now have to specifically explain what a sauce on the side from a dish is compared to extra sauce on the side. But was told I needed to better explain myself. This was all after having to wait for 10+ minutes to get our coffee. We typically go here to eat out but at this rate we ll have find a new place
Im torn about what to say. The food is Ah-mazing! However, my family came in for breakfast on a Sunday. We were seated and then waited 15 minutes in a nearly empty restaurant before anyone came to take our order. The only reason why we got service was because my husband had to get up and remind them that we were there. Once our server (Becky) knew we were there, she did everything she could to ensure we were taken care of. She literally came in to start her shift and heard that we were waiting, and she jumped into action. THANK YOU BECKY!! Dishes from previous customers were at many other tables, and the staff continued to walk by them the whole time we were there. It was not busy at the time, so timeliness and cleanliness should not have been a problem. We may choose to order our food as take-out if we consider trying this place again.
Decided to try this place for breakfast. Big mistake. Had to ask for our water twice, and the third time we went and found our waitress who was not busy, and asked for our water. After 25-30 minutes, our food came. My pancake was gooey and raw in the middle. Asked waitress to take it off of our bill & she did. There were 6 empty tables with dirty dishes and none were cleared the entire time (45 minutes) we were there. One couple was seated but walked out after waiting 10 minutes and not being served. There was only 1 waitress working and 2 cooks. There were only 5 other tables being served while we were there. Everyone seemed annoyed with the slow service. I m happy that my bill was credited, but we won t be going back.
Edit: Went here the other day, restaurant wasnt very busy. I know people have had some bad experiences here. But for me every time its always good. Waitress was friendly and kind. The drinks and food came out quite quickly and they were good. Still giving a 5 start review Went here again as its our go to breakfast spot. It wasnt busy as all. Food was amazing and our waitress was super friendly. Love it here and the food!
I usually order to go or through skip food is cold and always missing something. The food when down hill since it s been taken over by new owners
Good food and great service!
Went there today for brunch. Mediocre at best. Have been there several times before, but this time was definitely not the best. Crowded, kitchen was overrun. Waited almost 30 minutes for brunch to arrive at table. . Waffles and pancakes were lukewarm, eggs had obviously sat under heat lamp for several minutes before served. Not sure if we will return.
Used to be really good food Starting to slide. Scrambled eggs were just fried eggs cut up and grilled cheese well .kids didn t enjoy
Servers were very busy but still put in energy to be the sweetest and welcoming :) don t remember their names unfortunately but they were lovely !
Food took way too long to get to the table. Requested a specific order for dietary reasons (1cup of egg whites) I was served one single egg white. I told them this is not 1 cup of egg whites. They then said they did not know how to do that. I asked if anyone in the kitchen knew what a measuring cup is? Do they have one? I got no answer. Very disappointed with poor service and inability to meet a very simple order request.
Perfect French roast. Good coffee.
It was a resurant. Food was alright. I could make the same or better at home. If you want a decent breakfast this place works.
Sunday 11:15 a.m.: 12 minutes to have our drink order taken. An additional 10 minutes to have our food order taken. A whole HOUR to have food delivered to table. Ketchup bottle at table was empty. 15 mins to have waitress come back to check up on us, and be made aware we had no ketchup. Awful service!!!!
Good breakfast. Their eggs taste better than most other breakfast places. They seem to be understaffed so the wait was a bit long.
Wait staff was efficient and attentive. Food was perfectly cooked. Its been a long time for me to have no complaints about anything at a restaurant.
Had the special chicken with waffles. The waffle was cold, very dry and cardboard like. Definitely not something I d want to eat.
V good breakfast, busy so it can be a bit slow at times.
I ordered the strawberry French toast, probably less than two dollars worth of product and was charged a total price of $25. Wayover priced and I will not ever return to be price gouged like this, this business should be ashamed of itself for charging somebody $25 for two pieces of bread a tablespoon of cream cheese and about six strawberries.
Best breakfast hash Ive had in years and years. And such friendly staff - a must go to for breakfast!
Go in early in the morning one of the first people there, had to wait near an hour for eggs and bacon and fruit and the same for my family, while you see them make the skip the dish orders, and sending them out every 5 minutes, and this isnt the first time either this has happened. Would not suggest you go here unless your ready to wait for food for an hour , same with even ordering off skip sometimes waiting over an hour plus delivery times just to get eggs and fruit.
Terrible service. Waited 10+ minutes to be served while people who came after us were being served. After being served it took 40 minutes to receive our food. We were ready to walk out the doors. They were also giving online orders priority which dining should have priority...
We waited 1:15 minutes for food with kids. Serving staff girl was great but there was a failure of the restaurant manager. There was no lineup when we showed up. I understand people are short staffed. However, when it s the busy, the job of the manager is to manage expectations by telling the people the length of the wait. To add insult to injury, there was also mould on our fruit. They didn t charge for that one meal but given the overall experience, they should have given us the meal for no cost or at least a gift certificate. I will be telling everyone I know to avoid this place until the manager learns how to manage or it s under new management. This is the first negative review I have ever written, so that tells you something.
Nice to see the restaurant open again, with new management. Food was excellent and the service great! Will definitely be back.
Enjoyed and nice breakfast , I would rate as average. I think a cleaning maybe in order, from my angle there isnt a clean piece of stainless steal anywhere. Just an observation.
We finally got to come here and I will never come back. Waited 10 minutes for someone to ask us for drinks and then when she finally came and asked us she came back with the wrong drinks 1 coffee and 1 tea and we got 1 apple and 1 orange juice lol and no it wasnt busy maybe 7 tables of people. The staff are running around like they super busy. And the food wasnt all that great. and the girls that work there Don have there hair up. Im sure that its to be in a hair net or pony tail. And that manager likes to put him thumbs in peoples food yup thats right I see him do it. Up to you if you want to go there but not me.
The service was absolutely horrible. Also, they changed the sausage in the spicy Italian poutine. It tasted like it was bad to me. They remade my poutine with sausage and bacon. However, they reused most of the dish and added one slice of bacon and one sausage to the top. The food has really went down hill at this location as well.
I used to frequent Tutti Frutti when it first opened up, it was never great but it was always good. My routine changed and I never returned until recently. Without a doubt there has been a change in ownership, I dont know where to begin. The person I was dining with was annoyed right away, I thought she was being overly sensitive until it went from bad to worse. The service was very slow, food order mixed up, cleanliness was poor, the bathroom was gross, the food tasted awful, cold as well. I ordered what I always do and I am suggesting that the food quality / smoothie quality is now entry level, probably the least expensive ingredients that they could find. Its not a cheap place and you expect it to be a bit better. I dont recall ever having given a bad review to anyone, theres gotta be a little give and take, that said this is worth reporting, will never go back. Also I dont put it on the Waitress as she was the only one staffed and was trying the best she could !
I was pleased with the quality of my brunch meal, but the service was slow with good reason. They are understaffed and have a notice on their door indicating the need for a host and server. I did not mind the wait for the food because it was pretty good and our server Ashley was pleasant to my wife and I. The Crispy Combo with Blueberries was quite good, and the French toast that came with it was very tasty. I would definitely order it again. Their coffee is strong enough and the atmosphere was good. Thank you staff at Tuitti Fruitti for your hard work, dedication, and putting up with soo much. My wife and I will be returning.
Great breakfast place for family and friends. Food and service is excellent. Will be back again. Thanks tutti frutti for making our day great with wonderful breakfast. Kid-friendliness: Great options for kids
Came out here for work for 6 days. Stayed at the Holiday Inn next door. Came here for breakfast EVERYDAY for the first 4 days. I worked nights. I came everyday around 1:30-1:45pm (they close at 3pm). The 4th afternoon (Weds), I walk in. The restaurant was empty. A short, older lady with glasses (who seems to be a cook and not a waitress or host) walks towards me as if shes guessing why I walked in. She greets me by saying Yes? I politely asked for a table. She said they were closed for the day. All the other waitresses have been really nice however after that one lady, I stopped going to Tutti Frutti and started going to Dennys for breakfast. I really enjoyed their hash rounds** and mixed berry smoothies though.
Went in a week ago to have breakfast. Service was very slow. Waitress told us they were too busy with skip the dishes. Took 1 hour and 20 minutes to even get food on the table. Personally I try and support local and come in to dine rather than give skip the dishes my money but it doesnt seem like they care about customers coming in to dine anymore. Last time I will come here. They have deleted my review or any Comments I have left on Facebook in attempt to try and make things right so heres a Google review that I know they cant delete. Save yourself the time and go have breakfast at Rickys or sunset. They will get food on the table
All was good.. a bit expensive. Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options Food : 4/5 |
We went for brunch on a Saturday morning, Nov 12th at about 11 am. The place was booming busy - which is a great sign, but I think the staff were struggling to keep up. The host spoke so quietly, it was hard to understand. We both ordered a coffee and received only 1 coffee as they were brewing a new pot. The second cup of coffee did not come for about 10 more minutes. We waited ~25 min for food to come. The server was excellently friendly and bright. Food was delicious when it came :)
Very oily food, service was ok but food quality is very bad. Kid didn t like his meal either and didn t eat.
The server was well versed in their menu and was able to provide all of their gluten-free options for my wife, who is celiac. We found this restaurant to have excellent food options and a great atmosphere for kids. We came on a Saturday so both kids 12 and under ate free also! Would definitely come back and enjoy another meal here.
Pretty good service. Glad to see them open again under new management. It s been a year since they closed. They have new menus and new menu items(highlighted by a big green N). They are also covid friendly and offer digital menus very friendly atmosphere and the food is great. Stop in and support your local business!
Jenny went above and beyond! Food was amazing but the spectacular service is what made the experience the best! Thank you Jenny!!
It was very clean, the food was decent and the staff were friendly. Id go again.
Great service and reasonable pricing!
Im glad they are open again! Honestly, my waffle was cold and tasted old but Jenny rectified it and I had a delicious crepe instead. Shes a phenomenal server and a nice human being!
Nice little breakfast joint. Had the mushroom and brie Benny. It was tasty. The shredded hash were tasty as well. Coffee is alright
I always ordered my brekkie from here before the pandemic. ALWAYS excellent food. Was glad to learn it was opened again. So I order the feta omelette which is supposed to include red and green peppers omg was horrible! No peppers at all, about 4 little pieces of feta sitting on top and very overcooked and so dry. No peices of fruit included like there was before. I always shop local to support our businesses here in Spruce and Stony. Im sorry but this was bad enough for me to not try it again and stick to my fave for breakfast delivery.....Humptys.
Food was great! Service was amazing we will definitely be back !
Very good place staff so polite and friendly
The food tastes amazing. The people there, very nice. Unfortunately, my daughter has a serious intolerance to milk and the order was requested with no cheese.....of course there was cheese. Inside the omelet. We are not from here and have a 5 hour drive home today. And for those of you who know what a lactose intolerance does to someone.....it will make for a VERY bad day. Once I heard the apology as my bad and a 10 percent off, I knew a review was needed. If you have allergies....CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE YOU LEAVE! Or your compensation will be a reaction to your food and a my bad for an apology.
Hair in my food with the follicle still attached, greasy dried out potatoes, and cold overcooked eggs. I like the choices on the new menu but I wont return
They dont prepare food on time
Let me tell you, you have had over a month off to get it together but obviously you can t. I could have drove and bought groceries and cooked it myself before they even brought us our food. To say the least we walked out without food in our bellies. The waitress Tracy was a gem and deserves better support from her staff. #trash #dogwater #closedyourdoors
Excellent!!!!!
Had the ham and cheese omelet, very disappointed, just a fried egg with ham and cheese and a couple of potatoes with two pieces ot tomato, the menu did say breakfast and lunch, didnt see anything for lunch, will not go back
I was treated well. The waitress was very nice .
Great service Food was ok
Finally FINALLY got to come here! Waited so long! And it was NOT worth the wait we got there and waited no joke 20 minutes for a table. Finally got to a table was told our server will be with us shortly. 45 minutes later was just about to leave when our server arrived to take our drink order, we ordered milkshakes and water, the milkshakes definitely did not look as advertised and came in a smaller glass then expected it was good though. 10 minutes goes by havnt seen our waitress yet we waited and waited, finally showed up we ordered the Eggs Benedict grilled cheese. Another 30 minutes later heres your food. So I had asked for a soft boil as there is nothing better then the yolk running over the bread soaking it just ads a nice touch imo. Well this breakfast place MADE HARD BOILED! Huge disappointment the sauce was also not the best highly doubt it was made in house. The grilled cheese though was very good but would have been better with yolk! -_- Now the fun part yes best for last. My girlfriends water glass had something blue in it! She was given a dirty glass! You can see it in the picture added to this review. If I could give 0 stars I would. Very disappointed.
Great food, incredible staff. I feel welcome and always enjoy trying new selections.
It s the poor man s Cora. I wasn t impressed with the service or the food.
Normally we have great experiences at this location but today was absolutely dreadful. The kitchen put the Skip The Dishes orders ahead of a full dining room, and most people waited an hour or more for their meals. We have watched some tables even walk out without getting their food. If you are offering in service dining when it s crowded and busy, don t have your Skip on. We won t be coming back to this location. We gave the server the benefit of the doubt because she was running all over the place but we waited well over and hour for our meals. Never again.
Good food and friendly staff.
Very friendly staff, clean , Good assortment of food items on menu. Reasonable prices.
Waitress was great very personable, Food was good
Food is very good and fruit bowls very fresh and thank you to staff and management.
Wow, what an amazing breakfast we had this morning. Our server was Roop ( Rubal) a sweetheart of a young lady who epitomized the perfect server. My husband and I both had the bagel breakfast special $15.95, worth EVERY penny, so much fruit we had to take two take out cartons home. A massive bagel with cream cheese and loads of smoked salmon. We have to travel 45 mins to get to this restaurant but it s worth it every time we go. Can t say anything more about this great restaurant. Just what spruce grove needed. At last a decent, healthy option, with real fruit for breakfast or brunch.
Excellent service, made sure they had a highchair for us. Great portions, awesome food. Very fresh fruit.
Awesome
Great service, excellent meal
Portions are huge! Very enjoyable
Too expensive! $14.75 for a Waffle ?@! Floor was covered with spilled food Just like last time we were there. Never again thanks very much !!
Server was very kind to my son. The music where we were sitting was too loud for him, and he wanted to move tables. The server allowed my son to walk around the restaurant to find a spot that wasnt as noisy in his hearing aids. Food was expensive, and not bad. Cant say enough about the service though.
Really good yummy breakfast
Excellent place for breakfast.
Best gluten free breakfast I have ever had in Spruce Grove. The Caramel Apple pancakes were absolutely delicious. It took awhile for the food to come out but that was because they made my gf from scratch....so worth the wait. The portions were huge and had to take home over half. Excellent service.
Great food. Depending on the cook, sometimes the food is amazing-- other times it is not 5 stars. Wonderful wait staff and we love the healthy food on menu.
I have gone to this tutti frutti location twice now after nightshift at around 6:00am. Both of those times this location have failed to open before 6:30 am. At which time I end up going elsewhere for breakfast. Please change your business hours to reflect hours of operation as this is frustrating for your customers. I will not be coming back to this location.
Great food. Big portions.
Was the worst service I have ever experienced.i didnt want to give any stars at all. The waitress was terrible, she had to look at the menu while we were ordering to make sure what we ordered was on the menu. There were at least two tables that showed up, and ate and left BEFORE we even got our food. Waited atleast an hour for our food. BLT bagel and scrambled eggs do NOT take an hour to make. This Tutti Frutti location has lost our business.
Always a great place to have breakfast or brunch they have everything and it is all very good!! The server came around lots and made sure we were okay, they didnt have a lot of original breakfast on the menu but thats what make it different because they have amazing options!! Love it! 10/10 this is where I go for brunch in spruce
Our breakfast was terrible. My French toast wasnt cooked properly and my crepes had the consistency of rubber. The fruit was several days old and wasnt edible. My wifes breakfast was equally disappointing, she was a trooper and managed to eat some of it but just couldnt eat the sausages. We used to come here all the time but after today we definitely wont be back.
Food was good but the service was a little to slow to overlook.
On Sunday me abd my family went to the Windermere tutti fruit it seamed to be very busy for two servers
Great service. Father in laws birthday brunch. Extremely well looked after.
Very tasty
Excellent food and great service clean and well presented breakfast in spruce grove ,I ordered smoke salmon begal and a fruit custed crep it was very yumm , you should try once ,.
It was great visit at tuttifrutti sprucegrove ,i had pulled pork and italian bennidict with strawberries garnish freshly made awsome taste i would like to visit again soon .
Amazing food and great service
Every time we go there, its like We Are Family. The staff is super friendly and accommodating especially for children. The food is always fresh, Im never disappointed.
Spruce Grove is awesome Staffs treat us like their families Way better than Cora
always fresh and tasty food. The staff is friendly and provide great service. We live in Edmonton but always go to the Spruce Grove location as they provide the best experience.
The server was really fun, kind and sweet. There are many healthy menu options. The water was quite bland though ;)
Yummy
They use fried bologna for ham here. What the heck is that about. An established breakfast restaurant can t even give a guy real ham.
Great as usual
We come to this breakfast place often and the service is always good and the food amazing :).....now one thing I will say here , every time we came here it was always something served to us in dirty dishes or cups or even giving us this pre packed honey cups dirty or even opened and used already, I mean it s just little details but so important no? Anyway it s why I gived a two star
Great place for breakfast. Some of the biggest pancakes I have ever seen
Fav breakfast place
Loads of delicious fruit and a very cozy hot chocolate. Our server, Gopan, was speedy and attentive.
In general this place needs a massive improvement in the quality of there customer experience. There eggs are always undercooked and the serving staff is so spread thinly that no follow up is given on how you are enjoying your meal. I ve had to return my breakfast to them the last three times I ve gone as it was undercooked and no follow up was given until 2 minutes before the bill comes. Do yourself a favour and skip this location for tutti. It needs a lot of work
