Incredible. The pho was absolutely unreal. The broth deserves its own review. Service was polite and quick. We had take-out and were given a box/tray to take it home. We will be back again, and again, and again, and looking forward to trying more from the menu. It's not often to find a place that takes pride in what they do, and you can definitely taste it in their food.
Did not have a good experience. The food was bland and served with poor timing. The service was non existent and they were not busy. Only two tables. Not once did someone check in with us. The aquarium looks dirty and some of those big fish do not have much room to swim. I would not go back.
My new fave restaurant, was sick and craving pho and it did not dissapoint, thank you so much!
We got pho and green onion cakes for takeout. When I went to pick it up, they were extremely friendly and personable, making me want to dine in next time. The food itself was quite good. We definitely will be ordering again!
Very delicious! The broth is so authentic. The taste makes u crave it everyday. The vermicelli I order with lemongrass meat is what exactly I wanted. The taste, the presentation and all. I know where to go when I want pho and vermicelli bowl. This place for sure!!! Also, very cozy atmosphere and staff are very friendly!
Food was very fresh but defiantly a bit overpriced for what it is. We had order three dishes spring rolls were amazing. But seafood stir fry was over cooked and crab is not crab but artificial pollack( wouldn’t have a issue with that but was advertised as crab) and a 20$ price tag for 4 shrimp 3 scallops some squid which was so tough we both couldn’t chew and fake crab is why I rated a three. Other than that place was clean, friendly. Ordered number # 55 and not sure on the vermicelli seafood cause I did try to get a sub on fried rice as I didn’t see it online.
I love vetnamese food, and I try different places too. And whenever I go to the vetnamese restaurants for the first time, I always order Pho. Cause I belive the broth of the pho is what decides if this is good vetnamese restaurant or not. Unfortunately, Thang Long's pho did not meet my expectations. First of all, it was bit too oily. So I added their sauce for broth and it became too salty. Rice noodle was too weak so it was hard to grab with chopsticks (I am an asian so I know how to use my chopsticks) My husband's choice of food was good, however he chewed on something hard during meal too. Staff was prompt at first but never checked on us entire time after. I am usually very good at this star review and usually give 5 stars, however I think 3 stars are more than fair.
Food and service fantastic really happy they were open for new years day! Only problem I had are the bottles for the hot sauce soy sauce etc were really sticky and the spoon in the hot sauce jar doesn't look like it's been clean in awhile. The spoons for the wonton soup also had a strong smell of cleaning product. However everything was fantastic! Definitely recommend coming here if looking for some Asian Cuisine. Thank you again!
Best pho Ive ever had! Broth is always delicious
Amazing place to eat if you re looking for some good viet food! Their soups and vermicelli is absolutely fantastic
Great food. For sure wil be back
Mediocre at best.
Some of the best pho weve had! Authentic and flavourful. We will definitely be back! Great service as well!
Ordered for take-out on Boxing Day. Food was excellent. We will definitely order again.
Large portions of very tasty food! Excellent service! We will be back for sure
Vermicelli bowl and green onion cakes, top notch.
I absolutely love this place! My favorite for vietnamese
We were surprised when we got our food and each serving is good for 3-4 person. We waited for 20-30mins to get all our orders. But it is worth the wait. Each dish is noticeably freshly cooked, even the vegetables and the fruits from the milkshake we got are surely fresh! The only downside here is that they dont have enough employee so expect some waiting time if you need to ask for something. But still, its a good place to eat with a good serving size, delicious food, and clean surrounding
Food has been excellent every time.
Staff are very friendly, restaurant is clean and the food is amazing. I had the Japanese udon soup and crispy wontons. Both were amazing. Definitely looking forward to eating here again. Food
Bait and switch. The prices on their website are $2-$4 per item less than the actual price. Small portions. Scammy service. Bad place. Stay away.
Mango salad is to die for
This is our go-to Vietnamese restaurant. Always consistent and delicious!
First time ever having Vietnamese Food. Was excellent ordered the seafood egg noodle dish she let us sub the egg noodles for vermicelli had the wor wonton, broccoli chicken and fried rice. Food was so good and fresh and yummy. But we definitely only needed half.Very friendly service but never did come back to check on us. Will definitely go back. The prices are definitely reasonable considering the price of groceries and utilities
My main issue was not the food (which is usually very tasty) but the oversized fish in a small aquarium:( turned me off made me and my partner sad don t want to be sad over dinner.
Go to Tasty Vietnamese
Best Vietnamese in Spruce Grove
Very lovely customer service and food
Food was not all that great and slow service, kinda expensive for what you get
I got a vermicelli bowl and it was rather mediocre. I wasnt impressed that it took so long for my food to be ready(30 min), especially seeing how there was absolutely nobody else in the entire restaurant. I was less than impressed when I went to pay and the price was higher than what was listed on their website. And clean the fish tank! Thats absolutely cruel and disgusting!
I work in the same plaza so I always order food from here. The Hue soup is the best!
I found a broccoli cheddar soup lid from Costco in my food.
First time here and it was fantastic! Sate soup had good spice. Vermicelli bowl had great flavour. I will be back!
The spring roll vermicelli, onion cakes and fried rice are always perfect!
Ive been to over fifty pho restaurants, and their pho is among the least delicious Ive had. Ordered extra meat for my partner who eats low-carb due to an inflammatory condition and the additional charge was ten dollars a bowl of pho for almost $25 before tip, and I cannot say it was very good at all. Service was good, atmosphere was good, and considering we came in 30 minutes before closing to, I really appreciated that they didnt turn us away the way some places might (hence not being a 1 star review) but the food was expensive and we did not enjoy it.
1st time visiting the restaurant and was very pleasantly surprised. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The hostess/server is delightful. We have found a NEW go to restaurant!
Such good food. Definitely my favorite restaurant by far
Great food for a great price especially the pho. And you get a lot of it for what you pay for, its absolutely worth it. Whenever I go for takeout the workers are nice and the service is quick with some hot food ready to go. Real cozy and casual place as well not too fancy or noisy. And they got a fishtank so thats cool. If you are looking for some real good food at a great price, this is the place to go, I highly reccomend this great local restaurant.
First time here, the lady was friendly and very helpful. It was absolutely delicious definitely worth the try!
Great. Great. Great. We had the ginger beef. The wonton soup. Fried rice (best in spruce grove) and chicken and vegetables in oyster suace. Everything was outstanding. My wife, who orders wonton soup everywhere, was really impressed with the broth. I loved the ginger beef. The staff was also awesome
Friendly staff and great food.
Delicious food, large portions, quiet atmosphere and nice employees. A definite must try
Amazing food. Good portions. Staff is very friendly. Cutlery could use some replacement as they seem to be very old. This is why they lost a star. Other than that, awesome food.
Great food, great service. Never had a bad meal.
Great and I mean great service, awesome environment which may I add was very clean, and most importantly the food was great along with a stellar Vietnamese iced coffee. Must visit!
The lady here is so sweet. Brightens up your day & food is good!
Always have awesome food at this place. Take out is quick and easy. I always get the V5 with extra tofu and the tofu is delicious! If you re eating in, just know that it s not the fanciest place but it s clean, the service is good and the food is amazing.
Excellent Vietnamese restaurant. Service was good, food was excellent. reasonably priced. Would recommend to anyone looking for good vietnames food.
Very good value, filled me up for $11.
Pad Thai. Spiccccy goodness
Awesome food everything was great except for the hot and sour soup, I would 100% go back but would not reccomend the soup was water and bay leaves with tomato soup
This is a pretty yummy restaurant in Spruce Grove, if you like Asian food. I like their wonton soup but really Ive always had good food and service here. Take out is nice too
Awesome pho
Quite tasty, very affordable pho with fast and polite service. The restaurant was very clean.
Peanut satay is best in town! Hands down!
We came in and it took about a minute for someone to seat us. After we were seated we didnt see any employee for another 20 minutes. Suddenly we hear a small female voice ask if were ready to order. Mind you there is only one other table in here that consists of 4 people. Our drink order was not taken. We gave our food order and had I not mentioned drinks I dont think shed have asked. One other man came in 6 minutes after we gave our order, no one seated him but he was served immediately and his food came out before ours. The table of 4 just got up to pay and rang the bell. No one came out until the woman yelled through the kitchen window. Someone came from the kitchen to help the 4top but has still not come to our table. My husband had to come to the kitchen window to ask for to-go containers. The service here is beyond terrible. Only reason Im giving them any stars is because the food was actually good. Not worth the wait or money though.
Delicious dinner!
Food was ok. Ginger beef was watery. It was the wait time that really sucked. Went in to order takeout. Ordered 3 meals and was told 25 mins. Came back in 30 and then had to wait another hour. Would have walked out but we paid when we ordered. The phone was ringing and not being answered, people waiting to have the orders taken 15+ mins. Clearly they needed help. Because of the other reviews this isnt an isolated incident.
Excellent flavor.... we will be back !!
Very good
It was okay but service was lackluster
They have great iced coffee made like they do in viatnnam! Also great dishes.
Amazing food. Excellent staff. Must try!!!
Everything tastes good. Very flavorful just right amt of spices.
Best Vietnamese food by far in the area. Including Edmonton
Im from out of town. The name suggests Pho vietnamese cuisines. I went in looked at the menu and it mention korean japanese. I was very skeptical. I tried the chicken and rice dish with a side of wonton soup. The soup was good weird but the wonton does not usually come with a melody of vegetable. It worked out. The chicken dish looked like shawarma its seasoned light and well. Ill come back to support this familys restaurant.
Delicious!
Only thing long about this place is the menu. They seem to make everything. Staff are friendly and fast. The food is good. But do yourself a favor and under order. Portions are huge.
Food is ok but the lady who take my cash is also cutting cooked food and on her cell phone all at the same time without washing her hands so not sure how clean are the foods. I will stay away from the shrimp salad rolls!
Great food and service!
Best restaurant in Spruce Grove, food is always great!
Excellent service and great food.
Amazing Food
This place has amazing Vietnamese food
Excellent, fresh food. We went here for dinner last night. We had the best Vietnamese spring rolls weve experienced in two decades (I kid you not). Excellent grilled lemongrass beef, chicken and pork with vermicelli (bun without the soup, basically). The room is typically bland and brightly lit, and some fresh mint or basil would have been nice with the grilled meats, but the outstanding freshness of the ingredients and the perfect grilling more than made up for these.
Love this place for food and service. Always fresh and flavorful.
A quiet night. Enjoyed the appetizers and the Pad Thai. Will definitely stop there in the future.
Pho is fabulous, pork chop is awesome the Won Ton Soup is Yummy and the Green Onion cakes are enough to share.
Been there a few times now, is good food, nice people, was very busy this time so was little slow. But they were apologetic.
Best Pho in Spruce Grove. Its all great though iv never had a bad meal there.
Great food and great service!!
It was really good my dad of course loved it so much. Good job on your work it was really good. I did not finish it Im sorry but still it was really good I really liked it too. Next ti.e we come there we will definitely get something else because it was good that everything else must have been amazing. So again good job. Me and my dad were in love with it. When we where ready to pay my dad just kept repeating omg that was soooooo good. But anyways thank you byeeeee
Had #80 on menu, was great. Came with wonton soup, was excellent. Good service as well.
Best vietnamese in town
Great food. Third visit every time the food is great.
My favorite vietnamese place in town. Great prices fast service
Always the best food in spruce Grove
Excellent vegetarian pho!
Fantastic food, Fantastic service, we will be back!!! Our new favorite <3
Always a solid meal! Our family favorites: red tai curry, really gingery ginger beef, mango shrimp, the delicious coconut rice, spring rolls, onion cakes, hot and sour soup, and the rice noodle bowls. All so yummy!
Great food, good staff, fast service.
Food is served hot and fast
Quick service and delicious food, every time
Vietnamese? Check. Chinese? Check. Thai? Check. Japanese? Check. Fusion restaurant? Kinda but not really. While Thang Long promotes itself as a fusion restaurant, it lacks variety for it to be truly considered one. Overall, the staff were friendly and the pho was okay. The broth was clear but lacked richness. The meat was plentiful but lacked excellence. Protip: if youve ever wanted to feel like a security guard and have an IR remote, the TV at the back offers quality security camera entertainment (: Solid 7/10
Wish I had a photo but too good to put the chopsticks down! Excellent family run restaurant with crazy value in each dish. Loved the Pad Thai and Vermicelli Noodle Bowl. Staff is very friendly and attentive, so nice to experience real genuine service. Will definitely be coming back regularly (even though its a 40 minute drive).
The service was good, staff were friendly and accommodating, the spring rolls were okay, but the pho wasnt my favorite, had an odd flavor I cant quite describe.
Love this place, great food!
It used to be great, but now everything tastes a little odd... Cant quite describe whats wrong with it
Wish the salad rolls were fresh and not chewy, this place use to a have fresh everything.
The beef satay pho was very tasty.
Omg. This place is unreal. HUGE portions. Amazing flavour. Great service! Great place for pho
Great food
Best Pho and salad rolls in greater Edmonton.
39 beef no onions! Amazing.
Try the vegetarian coconut curry tofu its delicious
Love this place!! The staff are so friendly and the food is delicious. All around a great restaurant!
Always delicious, always quick, always friendly! I eat here often!
Lots of choices on the menu.
