Nestled in the spruce at Prince Albert's Little Red River Park, you will find the Cosmo Lodge - home of the Knotty Pine Bistro. The Knotty Pine Bistro is open daily and serves up a variety of menu items for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The lodge is an ideal location for socials and special occasions. Come and enjoy a wonderful meal in a beautiful and serene setting, an escape from the busyness of life right here in Prince Albert's backyard.
The food is fast food quality with a higher price. I wouldn't eat here again. The service was less than average as well. This place has gone so down hill :( A minor thing, but they also have no option for a printed receipt.
4 of us were there today. My aunt ordered a Philly cheesesteak sandwich & it was like tough dry old leather. It was obvious as how the sandwich was very sloppily plated. You could very well see the quality of the meat. The bottom bun was so mushy & just broke apart when tryingto pick-up. Half the melted cheese was on the plate. The flavor of the sandwich was gross. My cousin had a "buffalo" chicken wrap & it was soooo sloppily wrapped & there was nothing "buffalo" about the wrap. So when my cousin was trying to pick up the wrap everything just fell out..it should have had a toothpick holding it together or some foil or parchment wrapped around it. My mother & I both had a clubhouse & it was fine. It wasn't great it wasn't terrible but for $22 it should have been better. We all really enjoyed the fries that came with each of our meals. The Gravy had a slight weird flavor to it but it was nice & thick. My cousin ordered an Italian vodka-soda that he said was very delicious but definitely over priced at $9. The staff were nice enough & we liked the atmosphere but we won't be returning. We wish we'd had gone to Montanas instead tbh as they have consistently served us great food at less cost. We went here today as we had heard good things about it but it's definitely over hyped. 2.5/5
Horrible service today. My son and I sat and other then a table of 4 we were the only people in there. I counted 6 staff and No one helped us. I find it over priced anyways but I was still willing to spend my money there. I left with my kid upset because he was excited to eat there.
Visited Knotty Pine Bistro today for a graduation and was shocked at the rude way we were asked to not use the tables. We actually wanted to order food and try out the place but the lady just put us off. Please up your staff customer service it's pathetic, learn how to talk and treat people.....
I ordered the Ruben sandwich, and it was fantastic. My Son ordered the beef dip and it too was really awesome. Nice little restaurant, definitely will be returning.
Had a great time today. Celebrated 2 friend's 80th birthdays. The room was fantastic and food was great. I would highly recommend this establishment. Thank you for a great day!!
We ordered 2 club sandwiches and a kids meal. Before our food came out we also ordered two iced london fog lattes. Our food took forever - at least 35 mins - even though the restaurant was not busy and only had one other table which appeared to already have their food. Our meals came, which tasted okay, but our drinks never arrived. We decided we would just not bother with them until the server came and cleared our plates and apologized that she forgot and asked if we still wanted them. We said we would and she told us they would take 2-3 minutes to make. 5 minutes later she was polishing silverware and had forgotten about our drinks a second time. When we went to pay 10 minutes after that she asked again if we wanted them. We asked if she'd started them and she said no. Really annoying to be forgotten about twice. It took an hour and 15 minutes from when we sat down to when we paid which is not reasonable considering what we ordered and how busy it was. Aside from that, there wasn't a single clean table to be found and we had to ask her to come wipe the table, which she did with a dry cloth. The bathrooms were also gross - a full bag of garbage in the middle of the floor with wads of paper towel scattered around the bathroom. It had been like that for several hours as we stopped in to use the bathroom before going to the park itself and it looked the same at 11am that it did at 2:45pm.
One of the cooler establishments I’ve been in! The mixture of having the benefit of Little Red park, the walking/hiking trails and now the new play structures for kids makes every visit to the Knotty Pine Bistro a great family outing. The food has been excellent every-time we’ve purchased with both takeout and dine in. Don’t forget to pick up one of there home made desserts, you won’t be disappointed!
Really good food
Beautiful bistro in a beautiful park, even the woodchucks love it.
Nice spot, good food. Great fries!
WING NIGHT. Omg these wings are to die for. Gotta try the maple bacon hmmm.
Terrible service & food. Never coming back again.
Great little place to eat in the heart of the Little Red River park. Has the beef dip and an amazing homemade cheese cake.
Food is mediocre at best and very expensive. I will not go here again. The best thing about this place is the park surrounding it.
Went in and ordered a couple of sandwiches and coffee, which was a bit pricey. I believe 60$ altogether, the sandwiches had a side of fries but the person who served me forgot the drinks I ordered, thankfully another person helped me out.
We only got water as we already ate the menu looked delicious
Fantastic food and great atmosphere. Tons of live plants, great service and crafty drinks
