A nice stop between Vancouver and Whistler. A lots of variety bakery and good coffee.
A perfect spot to grab a coffee and breakfast item before hitting the hiking trail! So many options! And beautifully presented.
Good coffee and pastries but it is a chain of bakeries. Most baked goods look amazing but can be quite stodgy.
My favorite little spot when we go up through Squamish. Every pastry is delicious, beautiful, and you can taste the quality. The staff are wonderful and it's such a nice, clean, peaceful stop. We stop for brunch and end up with a loaf (or two, or three) of bread for our adventures in the area, or to take home. Look forward to it every time.
Every Purebread is gorgeous in terms of both interior design and the baked goods. I once visited close to closing, but there were still quite a bit of options. Both savoury and sweet options are great, but I sometimes find the sweet ones a bit heavy for my liking. I think it was a blackberry lemon bar, which I expected to be a tangy refreshing flavour, but it was quite greasy. But it’s probably a preference issue! I really enjoyed their ham, cheese, and chive scone.
So many options, the only bad decision is not getting at least one sweet & one savory item here. If you've been to Vancouver or have at least checked out the food scene you've most likely heard of Purebread & its number of offerings. They have it all at the counter presented for your picking. If you're like me you'll find yourself making your selection but then changing your mind since so much sounds good. I forget the exact name of the 3 items I ordered but they were pretty much: toffee cookie, chili cheese cornbread, and bacon, cheese, chive scone. It seems like it's common to serve baked goods at room temp around here so I made sure to get it all warmed up except for the cookie since I was going to eat it later on. My favorite was the cornbread which had real pieces of corn and a nice balance of salt, with slight sweetness. The scone had a lot of bacon, which gave it that good smokey flavor along with the cheese. The toffee cookie was pretty good with lots of toffee. But even though there was so much toffee, it was somewhat light on the overall toffee flavor. I'm a fan of Purebread, if anything for their massive selection. I don't think I've ever seen so many choices. However, while I've always enjoyed their baked goods, I will say that they are not the best I've ever had, as well as they are not the worst by any means. Be prepared to stand in a somewhat confusing line since the times I have gone there were several parties in front of me, but since it takes some time to decide it's more whoever is ready to order goes first. The staff was very friendly and there were several people ready to take orders. It was a clean modern interior with several tables, think your standard Starbucks size. I definitely plan to visit Purebread when I'm back in the area. So many options to keep on trying. Cheers!
We always like Purebread and have been to multiple locations in Vancouver and Whistler. It is our first time to this location. It is conveniently located next to the Whistler Outlet Store for us. We didn’t have lunch and drove from Vancouver to the outlet store and got into Purebread for a quick coffee and snack right away. Selection of items was not as large as other location, but it was a sweet alternative for a rest stop. We would go to McDonald’s and A&W otherwise. The only thing was it was not easy to find a table without crumbs to sit at. It was not that busy, so it would be lovely if there were more clean tables. We had two croissants 🥐, one small coffee and one large tea, and the bill was about 16$ in total.
We found this cute cafe while going on our way to Whistler called Purebread Cafe and had a delightful experience. The buckwheat sour cherry scone was a unique and delicious treat – a perfect balance of tartness and sweetness. The veggie sausage and spinach dish was a flavorful and satisfying choice, and the four cheese scone was a cheesy delight. To top it off, the mocha was rich and indulgent. The ambiance was cozy, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend Purebread Cafe for a delightful experience!
Nice atmosphere, baked goods are all over the map quality wise. Staff sometimes unaware of ingredients (ie I purchased a ciabatta and had no idea it had chunks of potato in it after I specifically said I needed a plain bread).
So many wonderful choice. Special mention to Claire Thompson and her great service and choices of new treats Food
Look, I get food costs have gone up but really? I feel they know they re highly rated and therefore can overcharge, and many people will pay it. So for that reason I take off a star. Reasonable comes to mind as some of their items are ridiculously priced. Not everyone is a tesla driving hipster with disposable income ;)
Delicious selection of treats
One of the best bakeries and coffee shops in Vancouver.
We happened upon this place in our travels. They have delicious scones an almond croissants, and the service is friendly and efficient.
Incredible selection with very friendly helpful staff!
Wonderful experience here. Lovely staff, great coffee and amazing pastries. I got the peach and raspberry something, and it was delicious. 10/10
Purebread is always a great choice! However, I wish there were more options for those who are lactose intolerant or have other allergies. I also wonder what happens to all the leftover items at the end of the day, as sometimes they dont sell out as quickly as other locations.
Was excited to try this place but unfortunately our pastries were not up to par. We got a cheddar/bacon scone which was completely raw in the middle. We got a couple slices on pound cake which were underwhelming. The cookie bar was great tho.
1 star overall is due to the filthy restroom. It made me wonder what the kitchen looks like. If they can charge $10 for a loaf of sourdough they should budget for a good cleaner.
I love their pastries; theyre always fresh, and the coffee is excellent.
Wow desert
Very dangerous choice of pastries and bread. Hard to decide because everything looks extremely delicious. Highly recommended Food
Very yummy! Every iteam we got was fresh and some were still warm
Awesome treats and great coffee. Fantastic service.
Very cool bakery, just expensive!
Pretty little bakery with lots of delicious baked goods and breads. Coffee specialties and teas are also available. Parking lot in front of the store, plenty of seating. Highly Recommended
Good coffee, and the raspberry scone was perfect
Im not a huge fan. The pastries are good but fairly generic.
Delicious bakery and nice service Plenty of tables Patio and nice view of the mountains Food : 5/5
Oh myyyyyy. You guys are the best. Like . ever.
Purebread is fantastic! Amazing variety, delicious treats, and friendly staff. It s my go-to spot for both sweet and savory baked goods. Highly recommended!
Lovely coffee, a great variety of items that s for sure. Wish they had more gluten free stuff. Friendly, smiley staff. A nice stop on way to Whistler
Try the Brioche egg, and the fritata. Cannot disappoint
The display is mouthwatering. They have so many pastries and breads to choose from. Loved the raspberry brownie and focaccia sandwhiches
Great baked goods but the person who helped us messed up on our last visit. She grabbed one of the items we ordered (raspberry cheesecake brownie) but never put it in our box. She even confirmed and we paid for it but it wasnt in our box. I think she put it in a bag initially until she realized we were getting more. We live in Metri Van so arent going back to sort it out but check your orders that you get everything. Ive been a regular customer across all their locations for years and am frustrated because I was especially looking forward to my treat since we went iut of our way and dont live close to a Purebread. :(
Cortados are the best here.
Was amazing they have so many choices of desserts and foods super hard to choose the desserts all of them look amazing!
Amazing good baked and awesome coffee
The staff and the food is excellent. I would buy my loaf of bread there if they had the machine to slice it.
Great spot to grab some delicious food and drinks with consistently excellent service! Especially from Ellie, Laura, and Sam!
What a VEGAN FRIENDLY gem in Squamish! Wish they were on Happy Cow for others to find easier... Dietary restrictions: VEGAN SUPER FRIENDLY
Great Bakery with good coffee. I would stop here again for a break for sure Food
Great coffee, nice service, delicious snacks and pastry!
The butter croissant was awful. Ive had other treats here that are great but in my opinion a bakery should be able to flawlessly make a classic such as a croissant.
Delicious treats and friendly staff
Nice stuff and staff:)) My stop by cafe on sea to sky Food
Very good products and very good service.
Omg my fave

Nice for breakfast with a good choice of sweet and salty stuff. Also good for a decent coffee.
Popular place with good reason. The amount of pastry choices is mind blowing and yet they ve somehow maintained high quality. The sour cherry scone is among the best scones I ve ever had. The misto coffee was also top notch. The only downside to this place is that a LOT of other people love it too. But it s worth the wait.
Big variety of baked desserts and fresh bread. Id say it s the best bakery in squamish and perfect for a breakfast stop over
You just need to open the door and smeel the bread to crave for all, so yummy
Treat yourself.
Delicious treats, amazing lattes. One of my favourite places in Squamish. Staff is friendly and welcoming.
Very good food but they don t slice their bread for you. Very inconvenient.
Id like to see decaf coffee
The place is nice, and good pastry. The hot chocolate is just milk don t bother
The two girls who took our order were not friendly and it wasnt a pleasant experience, and there werent many options for breads, snacks, or sandwiches. Im never going back, and I dont recommend it to anyone.
Worst Bakery .mosquitoes on the cake and cookies were too sweet. On top of that staff is racist as well.
Frequently go to Purebread in Vancouver is always Amazing goods! These guys are selling day old croissants that tasted like commercial Save-On Garbage WTF ?
Always super yummy!! A little pricey these days but a great selection of baked goods. And some seating and great coffee too! The best bakery in Squamish!
Best bread and pastries and super nice staff. Highly recommend the miso sourdough bread. Would be even better if there were more vegetarian savoury options available, but nonetheless necessary spot to visit for coffee, bread and sweets
We have ordered Vegan cake and it was so delicious and trust me this cake was so yummy that i didn t have this taste in long time , it was my daughter s 13 birthday and everyone loved it i live in Vancouver and we went to Squamish and ordered at this location and i will surely order here in my location in Vancouver and hope to get the same taste
Made my first visit to this brand today and was throughly impressed. Incredibly large selection of various goodies and a friendly, helpful group of staff despite it being very busy. Everything I bought was delicious and I look to trying more things. It s well run organizations like this that deserve our patronage. They actually seem to appreciate your business which is sadly becoming more of a rarity these days. All the ladies at Purebread are awesome, but a special shout-out to Geneva who represents this brand incredibly well.
love this bakery, pure bakery, super yummy snacks, always friendly people working there, best cookies ever go get one right now!. And Scrunch is a snack I am addicted to, get some of that too.. I will be back. Mark :)
Nice bakery/Cafe. Lots of pastries.
Never disappointed! If youre looking for a bakery that offers a wide variety of baked goods and a unique atmosphere, then look no further than Purebread. Great atmosphere, delicious and fresh cakes, welcoming staff, and a variety of caffeinated beverages.
Snooty service. Not customer in sight at 4pm midweek...tables empty and instead of a warm greeting and service we got uptight attitude. Bought a $7 flourless cupcake looking cake passionfruit something with huge frosting....airy almondy, no flavor or sweet. Completely devoid of taste. The raspberry creme cheese brownie was better tasting and larger 2 winters ago when it had cherry and wow!!! from the near chinatown location in Van. the creme cheese overpowers the chocolate and the raspberry is not enuf. Bought another brownie from dunbar...smaller. Fan of their espresso choco loaf.
I love bread and pastries, a must stop if you see one.
Huge selection of sweets and savory pastries. Recommend coming before noon to get the most options. Everything has been tasty.
Im so glad youre in Squamish, however, I like you so much I need to give some challenging feedback to keep you amazing. Ive noticed sometimes when I order (in Squamish) I dont get what I expect. Like this morning, I ordered a buckwheat sour cherry scone, which I only get when Im craving that particular (yummy, not too sweet) flavor and consistency, but I think it was made from different flour (tasted closer to cornbread) this morning...or they gave me something else. There are sour cherries in it (so I dont think they gave me the wrong one) but it is not what it usually looks or tastes like. And its not what I saw behind the glass. I didnt look in the bag till I got home. I notice they rarely give me what I point at. I know its more work, but why not give the customer what they see then replace it with a new one? This has happened to me a few times. I dont want to be a rude customer (because I truly love your food!!!) but I rarely buy treats and I want to get what I look forward to. Ill check my bag next time or insist they give me what I see from now on.
We had amazing breakfast here, they have a really good collection of both savoury and sweet items. Absolutely delicious and right out of my dreamland
We came in with a group of 10, and were looking for a little bite before we headed down to Vancouver. This place really hit the spot, they had an amazing selection of savory and sweet pastries, as well as great coffee. They handled our large group with ease and kindness.
This is a mast stope for a breakfast or a quick bite. They have a huge variety of baked goods and their bread is amazing
Perfect stop for coffee, pastries and other baked goods.
Good bread and treats, but pricey.
Delicious pastries, very kind staff and cute space. A welcome alternative to the others in the big box strip mall!
So many amazing pastries to choose from
Am fortunate enough to have travelled much of the world. Some of the best cakes and coffee I ve ever had the pleasure of consuming. The four cheese scones are to die for
Best bakery in the Lower Mainland.
What a lovely place. They had so many great options. Everything we got was excellent.
They make nice flat white
Good bread. Cant lie.
Probably the worst chai I ve ever had. However the staff were nice and the bathroom was clean
The pastries and bread are amazing. The staff is also exceptionally friendly!
By far the best Purebread! Service is always awesome and I could shove those cakes in my face all day!! Thanks for always being great! Parking: A billion parking spots Kid-friendliness: Cakes for all
The selection is amazing - they have wonderful sweet treats, coffee and sandwiches. I love that they have big cakes ready to go for a last minute special occasion and also they have lots of seating!
Very tasty cafe, scones and brownies!
Unfortunately doesnt have as many vegan options as in the past. There used to be at least 5 options, now just one and some cookies. Not really worth going anymore. :( Dietary restrictions: Few vegan options, used to be way more. Only had a lemon cake.
Cool relaxed place for a coffee and several types of bread...
The only problem is deciding which amazing looking/tasting/feeling food to choose.
Nice cafe to sit and enjoy freshly baked muffins, donuts, pastries and especially best almond croissants in the town!. Amazing experience!!. A bit more cleaning of sitting area will make dining experience more enjoyable.
Really great place for coffee and pastry. Location is convenient as well!
Best coffee shop in Squamish, Delicious stuff and friendly staff Food
Lovely staff, super yummy treats and snacks, and beautiful location!
Wow this place is amazing, its hard to choose which to try, there is such a great selection. Even homemade Bread.!! I go there a lot to the cooked Granola which I love with my yogurt.... need a little break and try something Delicious you will not be sorry.. Right beside Boston Pizza.!!
Can t give it five stars for atmosphere because it s like a coffee shop. Great baked goods, coffee, and service always. Lots of vegan options. Vegetarian options: Always have good vegan options Dietary restrictions: Always have good vegan options
Butter croissant was terrible, not the Purebread of old has sadly gone downhill post sale
When I saw Purebread was coming to the building I was both ridiculously excited and also scared! I ve got somewhat of a sweet tooth and these folks sure do deliver the goods! Great service from the team on what was their opening week with a fair few people in line. The service was quick and polite. The baked goods! OMG the baked goods! They re so tasty, definitely a must visit when you re in the area. Nice decor with some great spots to take a meeting or have a catch-up with friends.
Always a treat at Purebread!
Wow! First time experiencing Purebread and was kind of overwhelmed. So much to choose from. Picked up the Pecan Sticky and Bacon cheese and chive scones. The Sticky is so good and not overly sweet! Kudos! Will absolutely be back!
The bakery offers so many choices of baked goods but their croissants aren t the best. I was a bit let down by it. The coffee is great though
Lot s of sweet treats! Also savoury options. Both are good. I do feel they could clean their cutlery and tea mugs a bit better. The tea is also quite expensive for just bagged tea. It s good though.
Fresh and delicious cookies, croissants, scones, bars, cakes! So great ! Recommend
Huge selection of tasty baked goods, plus coffee and tea. This place didn t show up on the Google Maps search results for coffee, and I m not sure why - maybe leaving more reviews about the coffee here will help! Coffee coffee coffee!
We got these special guys! Cakes and brownies were fabulous. The best bread I ve ever tried! Friendly staff, cosy environment, and affordable price!
Good eats as usual, free refills on coffee a nice surprise
Purebread is pretty awesome and this location in Squamish had great coffee and awesome selection of baked goods. We didn t get any sweets but the latte was great.
Great espresso, and the baking is out of this world.
Amazing pastries
Amazing bakery! The pecan sticky bun is so moist and flavourful. The veggie panini was super yummy.
The coffee is good. We tried several pastry items and they were not fresh. The worker wasn t using gloves to pack our pastry. We had high expectations because of the location but were disappointed.
Flew these yummy pastries home for the family, spent $75 on a box. So worth it
There are so many mouth-watering choices it was really hard to choose just three items. The raspberry white chocolate scone wad very good. The pistachio chocolate was just alright because I thought it would be chewy but it was hard. Otherwise, well worth a visit!
