Congratulation to the team of Lil Chef Bistro . The food was amaizing , we are from Romania and the taste really brought us back to our food . The service and atmosphere were great , friendly , genuine and professional , Niall was offering us exceptional service

Excellent little place. Great food, lunch and dinner. Good to see an original menu rather than the usual North American menu.

The hamburger is meaty and juicy. Dont forget to order onion soup too! It becomes addictive and makes you want to drink it again the next day.

This is a beautiful place to eat and hangout with friends. So much love oozing from every corner. Food lovingly prepared; they really know what they re doing here! Try the plantain with mojo sauce just for funnzies it will change your life.

Eggs Benedict $24. Eggs were perfectly poached. Sadly, that was the only highlight. Would have liked triple the amount of sauce. The roasted potatoes were so hard, I was afraid of breaking a tooth. One of the pieces if bacon was pretty much just fat, couldnt eat it. Service was fine, but quite minimal. Our bill for 2 eggs benedict, 1 Americano, with tip, was $65. Wont be back for brunch.

Little Chef Bistro has become a regular spot anytime were in Squamish or just passing through. The food selection and quality is impressive and the staff are all so warm and welcoming. On our last visit, the owners husband treated us to a sample of his homemade ice-cream. Dont sleep on Little Chef Bistro!

Amazing delicious food, good coffee, great tunes! Servers ignored us for 15 min after we sat when the bistro was half full, then took a long time to take our orders. The kitchen was backed up (hey it happens), but our server (who seemed new) didnt check on us, then switched servers, then switched back. The new server was standing there checking their phone and I had to flag her over to get our bills. Still tipped due to tipping culture, kinda regret it. Dont know what was going on today but feel like they could have done a lot better and probably wont be back. Had the lil chef burger, was so delicious!

Wow, I dont get the hype. This place should rename itself to Oil Factory maybe? I visited here on my way to Whistler to have a hearty breakfast, they gave me a cholesterol one instead. I ordered a Chorizo with fried potato, and my god I could see the oil dripping in the serving pan. It was tasty, yes, but unbelievable. It was a rather hot day and i didnt enjoy the meal at all. We had ordered an English Muffin too, so be prepared that it will be a muffin deep fried in oil, drenched entirely. I wouldnt say the taste wasnt good, but it was just insane what I saw on there. Maybe its their speciality or something, but not recommended unless you want to eat a lot of oil to start your day. The staff was rather courteous and kind, 5 stars to the people working there, but the lil chef needs to calm tf down a little maybe! Vegetarian options: Only one vegetarian option.

Love this place!

Weve gotten there quite a few times since its opened, and no food item has disappointed us yet. From the Cubano sandwich to the Schnitzel and yesterday a Reuben with a portion of red borscht to start with. Id try the pierogies, but Im already a very good cook of these and cabbage rolls as well. But dont let that stop you.

A tasty mess! I thoroughly enjoyed the lamb burger with root chips and hummus. I was full for hours. Good portion and tasty unique food. Ill definitely be going back.

Amazing food and service

Ate here two days ago and had a wonderful time. Food was delicious and very high quality. Can tell a lot of love goes into the home made food. Randy was our server and they were super attentive, friendly and efficient. Really recommend hitting up this place for upscale brunch in Squamish.

What a wonderful find! House made proper ingredients. I love that the kitchen is an open concept. The schnitzel and spätzle were to die for. Hope this place is around for years to come.

Excellent service and delicious food. I have been here several times in the past two months and have brought a few friends as well. Dani, our server is always attentive and spot on. Absolutely love the Lil Chef Burger and the French onion soup. Much yum.

Friendly staff but its a one and done service. Can I take your order heres your food heres your bill, no interaction. Had ravioli they were good but there was something missing it needed a zing something to make them pop. Maybe it was just an off day.I do recommend them they deserve that much. Parking: Several businesses using a small area so parking could be a challenge on busy days

On top of the very good usual items on the menu, we especially enjoyed the sarmale , cabbage rolls, the soup of they day, which was a borscht and the homemade grilled sausage (an add-on on the breakfast menu).

Great food and service for a reasonable price!

We used to come here for brunch about once a month when we lived just around the corner. After we moved further we stopped going but this weekend we decided to drive over. At 10 am the place was almost empty which was a big surprise at first, until we sat down and saw the new prices on the menu. The bennies that used to be $19 are now $22 and any type but the most basic one has an extra charge, smoked salmon +$2. We thought five dollar increase was quite steep and we left, mainly out of principle. It is a shame that this friendly neighbourhood place turned into an empty overpriced restaurant.

We had Salmon Two Ways and The Smoke Stack. Yum! The food here is special and delicious . Homemade English muffins and house smoked meats. Amazing! The service was really good too! Next time hopefully we will have room for dessert! Thank you so much. :)

Hands down the best food in Squamish. Spätzle and the English muffin for my burger were made from scratch. They were amazing! You can tell it was made with love and made well. Husband had peameal bacon in his burger and enjoyed it too.

Waited 15 minutes at the door to be seated and the hostess walked by multiple times and didn t acknowledge us once, despite multiple tables been available. So we left, as did the group waiting behind us.

It s hard to find a place these days with both great food and good service. These guys knock it out of the park on both accounts. The Reuben Benny was arguably the best breakfast dish I ve ever had. Great little hole in the wall eatery with delicious food and great service.

The first few times I came here, it was amazing. Great service and great food. It seems that both of these qualities seem to be slowly deteriorating. From servers that don t seem to care and are unenthusiastic, to incorrect orders and poor quality of food. Tonight I ordered an extra side of soup paying $9 and the amount was less than 200ml (and no bread) Hopefully they can return to the standard of food and service that there once was, as this was a gem of a place to eat.

Decide to make a stop between Vancouver and Whistler. What a wonderful place to enjoy delicious food. Super friendly staff and seems to be a place that is popular with locals. Thank you for this excellent experience

Just went here for brunch for the first time and loved it. Had an egg omelet with fruit. The staff was very pleasant. I also liked the high seating booths.

Tried a few brunch dishes here and both were so good! We went for the Ruben benny- the Montreal smoked was so good with the poached egg and hollandaise, and the chorizo hash - the medly blend was 10/10. The place itself is tiny and a little cramped but the good food more than makes up for it.

Excellent overall. It was really a pleasure to have my lunch here.

I honestly found this place to be extremely overrated. Very high prices for food that thinks because its a small portion its akin to haute cuisine. Ive been a number of times and unfortunately the service is always inattentive. Wanted to like it desperately, but its just not good enough for what they charge

Our favorite place to stop for brunch, lunch or dinner after a ski trip to Whistler. Cozy spot, friendly staff and reasonable prices. Will definitely be back.

I was actually quite disappointed with how they state Gluten free bagels and toast. My partner is celiac so it was great to see friendly options But once arrived we were shown that the gluten free options arent actually gluten free at all. I understand being celiac is a us issue. Offering gluten free options...that have gluten in it. Not the best menu.

Fantastic breakfast - Homemade English muffins were excellent! I had the English breakfast and the mushrooms were definitely one of the highlights. Would go again next time we pass through Squamish. Highly recommend.

Lil chef was one of our first dates and ended up catering our wedding 2 years later. The owners were incredibly accommodating with our guests with food allergies/restrictions. The food and the apps were perfect. They served fresh salmon and roast and were able to incorporate everything we could have wanted. People are still talking about how good it was and we got married 6 months ago. It has been one of our fave brunch/dinner spots forever. If you re visiting Squamish go eat here! You won t be disappointed.

We went to Lil Chef because our first choice had an hour wait. Well never wait again. Lil Chef is now our first choice. No lines, great food, good sized portions. Our server was not experienced but it didnt deter from the experience. The homemade spatzle and bratwurst were delicious. You might not want to charge for hot water and lemon.

Very cute place, cool decor, nice vibe, but tragic service. Outside of the black-haired, mustachioed server, most seem mighty distracted. It took 20 minutes after being sat to have drink and food order taken, and I was never spoken to again the entire time. I was looking forward to another cup of coffee, but no such luck. The food was nice though. Worth checking out nevertheless.

Went for brunch. Waited 20 minutes to get in, was told it takes 30 minutes for food, 50 minutes after sitting down, there was still no food at table. At this point it didn t matter if food is the best breakfast in Bc. Water served at table, no ice in it, for 30c outside. It makes you wonder if the business owner want to keep customers happy or just make profit at whatever means. When you serve food on a regular day 30 minute after sitting down, and on special days it is around 55 minutes, definitely you need to analyze what is it that you are doing wrong as business owner. How about a reservation? How about simplifying your menu? Unless you want angry and upset customers, This is not how business should be run. Next time I will go to white spot, I will get my ice water, I will wait only 20 minutes for My food and maybe I won t care that my food is not prime.

Price point was a tad high - basically 20 for a egg mcmuffin with extra meat (homemade sausage patty and peameal bacon) but honestly the food was amazing... came with potatoes and fruit that was fresh.. and that salad. Yummmm- Id still pay it again just wish it wasnt so.... But. Again amazing.

Food tasted great and came out fairly quickly. Salmon was delicious and the atmosphere was nice. Service was slightly slower but not so slow I would complain about it. I could recommend this place if you want to have a relaxing lunch or dinner. Vegetarian options: Portobello options for vegetarians. Parking: Parking lot in front of restaurant or street parking.

The moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted by the warm and inviting ambiance of the restaurant. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made me feel right at home. The service throughout the evening was impeccable, with prompt and knowledgeable waitstaff who went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. Now, lets talk about the food! The menu here is an absolute culinary delight. Each dish was expertly crafted and bursting with flavor.

I never write a review unless it s positive but in this case this is the third time I ve been to this restaurant and I just don t get it. We wanted to sit at some of the seats outside but everyone of them was covered in food remnants. A waitress was seating us and never offered to clean them off. Then when we went inside the tables were still sticky and covered in food. We were given menus and then left to sit there for 10 minutes without anyone coming to talk to us. The restaurant was empty. Our waitress during that time was in the midst of making cocktails for a group of people. which I m aware are their staff since like I said I have been there before. It was all a very frustrating experience and seem to mimic the same service that we ve had there in the past. Very poor service. Very poor attention to their customers or any sort of degree of cleanliness. We ended up walking out. The restaurant was practically empty with the restaurants all surrounding it completely packed. Which I can only conclude is a reflection of the same type of experience others have had. I just don t get it.

Food is good but service could use some improvement

Food is amazing! Especially breakfast , sometimes the service is good, usually in the mornings. We have been there a couple times at night and the vibe was totally different. Not as friendly . Have heard the same from some friends that certain times they are treated the same depending who is on? shame cause the food is delicious..

Very cute little place in the heart of Squamish. However, the service was some of the worst I have experienced (it was not overly busy either). I got the eggs Benny and my boyfriend got the Reuben Benny. Mine was pretty good, and I liked the sides that it came with. My boyfriend s was a bit soggy, and just alright. He felt sick for a few hours afterwards. I am not sure if we just came in on an off day but I wouldn t return due to the quality of the service we received.

The only good thing I can say about this place is the waiter was very friendly and welcoming. The food was well below par. The cutlery was dirty and the condiments looked like they had been left outside all night. Everything tasted and looked old, except the smoked sausage

I just can t anymore the food here is delicious but the service is TERRIBLE! And it s not even a big enough place that could justify such a sub par experience. We have come multiple times and it s always the same story: left waiting forever to order, at least one persons order being completely forgotten (EVERY TIME)and waiting forever for the bill. Then the icing on the cake is the tip prompts are 18/20/25% on the machines .FOR THAT SERVICE?!? I can t keep going back anymore regardless of how much I love the food, it s just not worth it anymore :-(

A hidden gem... No one ever recommended this place to us and we stumbled in and now we recommend to everyone, the portions are decent sized, the servers are lovely and the food is so tasty!

Great bistro. Everything is pretty big and heavy, but great food, cheerful staff, and nice open space. They make their own meats and their peameal bacon is the best peameal bacon I ve ever had. If you re looking for a breakfast slightly on the lighter side, ask for the Huevos rancheros with no potatoes. I ve also had their reuben and French onion soup. Recommend. I ve also had their smoked salmon salad which was good but I left thinking why didn t I have a reuben or French onion soup or something more unique about this place? Great drinks too.

What an amazing place this is. The staff is super friendly and the ambiance is really nice, but what s going to make us come back is definitely the food! Everything we tasted was amazing, the ingredient combinations are well thought of and the dishes are extremely well executed. Highly recommended!

Today my experience was disappointing. Firstly I know brunch spots get busy on weekends. We were totally prepared to have to wait for a table. We waited in the long line outside for up for 30 minutes, which would have been fine except our server would not take our order once we were seated due to the kitchen being backed up. We waited 40 minutes just to have our order taken, on top of already waiting just to be seated. When we finally got our food, my meal was completely cold. Not even remotely warm. At this point I was so hungry I didn t even care. I ate most of it and my boyfriend wanted to try a bite and he got some pieces of egg shells in his mouth. The waiter was so busy and didn t even come to check and see if everything was good. My boyfriend and I have worked in the industry so we know what it s like when you get in the weeds but this was ridiculous. I ve been here before during the week and it was great! But sadly this has left an awful taste of eggshells in our mouths. My suggestion would be to communicate better with the customers and if they can t manage then it s best to not even seat the customers.

Awesome restaurant in Squamish. I was in the Squamish / Whistler area for a week. The two meals I had at the Lil Chef were the best by far. It started with breakfast one morning after yoga across the street at Yoga Shala. The experience was so good I had dinner there after climbing the Chief. Everything is made on site, fresh! Excellent value as well. More food for the money spent than I can recall from anywhere! Great service and great conversation with Jose.

This cafe is a real find. Both for breakfast and dinner. All food is cooked right there, the products are used fresh, not frozen semi-finished products. The food quality and presentation is on par with some of the best cafes in Vancouver.

We had Chef Mihaela of Lil Chef Bistro cater our backyard wedding in Squamish and could not recommend her more to cater your next event. She is so creative and can make you whatever desire...she has a strong background with catering and was quick to recommend tasty dishes that serve well. The food was incredibly tasty, particularly the beef brisket! The adaptability of their equipment and service team was fabulous, and they were very diligent in cleaning up, taking care of clearing dishes and packaging leftovers. Thank you so much Chef Mihaela and team for making our wedding so simple to organize and for the delicious memories we now have.

Bistro with European food. Chef is from Romania. I ordered the stuffed cabbage, pork ribs, and polenta (sarmale with ribs). It was very good. I also wanted ginger beer but unfortunately they ran out and were brewing more for the following day. The others ordered sandwiches and ravioli. Only the ravioli wasn t done too well.

We loved this place and ate here many times before. Yesterday, we had to wait almost 30 minutes to get our drinks. Just after we notified one of the waiters they started to make our drinks and food. Finally we got our ordered drinks without any sorry for keep you waiting this much . The food was not as delicious as it used to be, was not seasoned well enough and was a little bit greasy. We understand sometimes the waiting time can be longer, which is not a problem if someone is informing us.

The food wasnt bad but the restaurant was understaffed. There was only one server for the entire restaurant so service was really slow.

My friend and I ordered breakfast. The meals were great. I would definitely go back and try lunch and dinner.

Staff was so incredibly rude. We waited 30min to get any service and once we did they just came with a pad and didn t say much besides are u ready since we were eyeing them down to get at least a drink while we wait. It was not busy. They could have brought us waters while we waited but that seemed too much a task for them. We brushed it off and waited another 45min for food. Once the food came, one of my eggs for the eggs benny was rock hard and clearly old/over cooked. I could not eat it.. it was cold and gross. The other egg was fine. But the hash browns seemed old too so honestly the entire plate was a solid 1/10. Entire experience sucked and I would not recommend this place.

Waited over 25 mins to place an order for simple brunch. After another 45 mins no sign of our meals. The server came and advised the our order somehow got lost. No apology. They just gave us a small bowl of stale chips. Food finally arrived after over an hour (we re now 1.5 hrs into our visit). Brunch meals were fantastic and we understand things happen and that the hospitality industry is a tough gig, but with the place half empty and multiple staff standing around, this was just very disappointing. Wouldn t go back.

Amazing! We had brunch - Eggs Benedict, Huevos Rancheros and mimosas. It was one of the best breakfasts we both have ever had. Really cool atmosphere, super fresh and delicious food. Absolutely worth a visit.

Ate here while going through to Whistler for the weekend. Stopped here for lunch with my wife. She enjoyed the eggs Benedict with salmon, I had the Ruben sandwich with potato salad. Great flavours, great service. Was very impressed with the quality and taste. Has a good variety of dishes on their menu. Highly recommend stopping in and enjoying a delicious meal here. Parking: Note, this is on a one way street. So enter from the north end of the street heading south. Lots of street parking.

Good food, good atmosphere. Its a lovely place with a nice open kitchen. Too bad the kitchen staff seems to never smile and seems to always frown.

Beautiful hidden gem in Squamish with European comfort food and great service

We stumbled upon this amazing bistro en route to Whistler. Fresh, fun, and such great service. Came for the breakfast and will come back for the cabbage rolls and schnitzel. Our server, Siena, was such an awesome, patient, and friendly soul. We could see the chefs in the kitchen working so hard to create every plate fresh, loaded, and hot. They make their own sausages, create their own bone broth, and even have homemade jam. What a find!

Had the smoked salmon eggs beni, found the ratio from Argula to smoked salmon was a bit off, lots of Argula took away from the salmon, it was on a homemade muffin but the muffin was a bit thick. Service was good, we had Randy as our server and he dead well, place was clean and the atmosphere was well designed in comparison to the venue, a little overpriced though, a bit above usual.

I normally don t leave reviews but I felt I truly needed to for this place. We sat down at 11:45 AM and had to wait over an hour for our food (food came at 12:50 PM). When we sat down, the server didn t even bring us water or come to us. As we were waiting for our food, we watched over 4 different bagels be thrown away as they were left sitting at the counter for over 15 minutes. It is absurd that we watched two to three other tables who came in after us get their food before we even got ours. The food was honestly not bad (quite mid) but for the service we received, you re better off going to another brunch spot. We genuinely didn t think that moving at negative speed was possible but the servers and chefs here proved us wrong. Everything was extremely disorganized. Maybe we came on a bad day but honestly, we don t recommend coming here on the weekend at all. Oh and if you want to go to a place where the servers and chefs seem like they re happy to serve you, don t come here.

We (2 people) waited 50 minutes for breakfast, and others who came after us received their food before us. Eggs were cold and overdone. We were never offered refills on coffee. Servers did seem empathetic and genuine about the situation.

The worst service that I received for last 2 years,I don t recall to leave a place without a tip ,but I had too.servers has forget my order and asked for coffee refills 5 times and they kept forgetting or ignoring.Last part was funny they were charging me for a food that hasn t been delivered.when I asked about it told sorry and they removed coffee charges .I have been there for almost 2 hours no water and almost several part came and got served and we were still waiting I love supporting local restaurants but this bistro is a place that I would avoid.

Another great find, this in Squamish. Small, intimate dining room with the right lighting and music, terrific food with friendly efficient staff. Open kitchen, which I like, to watch the magic happen. One side dish I have to mention, there was a pickled tomato on the plate. Never saw one before and it was delicious. The whole experience was a delight and I would recommend this place to anyone.

Extremely pleased with everything! The menu options were coherent and varied. The vibe was laid back, friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and I left stuffed. We stumbled upon this little gem during our stay in squamish. We really enjoyed the food here, everything had a bit of their own flavor and style. The burger was great! Schnitzel was incredible also. Dont miss this place if youre in the area!

Amazing home-made food - had an awesome first experience there spatzle, delicious. Lamb burger, delicious. Lil chef burger, delicious and surprising with a tangy pesto-like spread. Oh and the cabbage rolls were extremely flavourful. Will definitely come back! Food

Best experience I ve had in long time!! Food was great! New server, Sam, was amazing!! Atmosphere is exactly what you want. Not too big, not too loud, just perfect! Their Orange juice maker is a thing of the future and adds a touch or Europe to your orange juice. Kitchen staff has their Shiznit dialled!!

Absolutely fantastic, and very consistent - . Everything I ve had here is just excellent (and I m a regular), including the coffee. I have high standards and I can safely say, nothing in Squamish (asides maybe Fergies) rivals this place. Everything is made from scratch, including the delicious English muffins and hollandaise they use for their bennies. No cutting corners for these guys. It is truly a hidden gem in Squamish. They do breakfast, lunch and dinner, and you can almost always get a table, which is shocking given how good it is. Fantastic service too - thank you Randy!! You always rock!

Oh my lordyyyyy this was one of the best brunch places I ve ever visited randomly. Delicious Reuben Benny and the espresso latte was phenomenal. Highly recommend

This is definitely a hidden gem in Squamish. The food is absolutely fantastic, the menu is varied and interesting ranging from onion soups and burgers to borchs and tostones. The staff is always friendly and cordial. Cant recommend this place enough. If you are passing by Squamish, you should definitely stop by for a meal.

Dropped in here for a bit of breaky on the way to Whistler, was adequately sated for our onward journey. Very tasty.

I think I had much higher expectations reading previous reviews. Was a bit disappointed with the meal. Potatoes felt it was warmed up from the day before. Homemade English muffin was good. Maybe they need to look at new coffee machines. Coffee needs to be improved.

I try to visit this gem every time I am in Squamish. Excellent food, much of it such as soups, peameal bacon, sausages made on site. This visit was a morning meal. Never disappoints! Friendly staff. Highly recommend!

We all 3 got the the smoke stack burger and we all 3 agreed that it was below average. Dry patty, not very flavourful. The coffee tasted watered down. The beet salad was drenched in vinegar. Wont be coming back I dont think.

Was so looking forward to a good experience, but sadly this wasn t the case. Let s start with a glass of tap water which was so warm It could have come from a bathtub. Noticed later that the water container sits in the sun at the entrance so kinda amazing that nobody who works there could fathom what effect this might have. No ice offered or could be seen. Sat down at one of the log slab tables and noticed the sleeve on my shirt kept sticking, which I then realized was due to the table not being cleaned for who knows how long. Started to look around and noticed crumbs on the chairs at not only my table but also the tables around me. As my eyes looked towards the dirty floor there was actually a fork with food smeared on it under my table. So appetizing! At this point I thought the food must be so good that patrons overlook the obvious cleanliness issues, so I ordered the first thing on the menu - schnitzel with a side of home made potato salad. Unfortunately the schnitzel was absolutely tasteless and the potato salad was an incarnation that did not suit my taste so I only had two bites of it. Shame on me for not carefully looking at the potato salad ingredients since there was no egg, mayo, you know the stuff you d normally expect. Anyways I worked my way through half the schnitzel and asked for the bill. The waitress asked if I wanted a to go box and I said no, thinking this would prompt her to ask if I enjoyed my meal - but she did not. Anyways this will be my last visit to Lil Chef since it didn t meet expectations on so many levels, despite being fully staffed and not busy at all. Though I love supporting local business, this one simply does not deserve our patronage I m sorry to say.

Best ever gourmet version of a salmon burger - 2 ways grilled and lachs style with very yummy aioli. Had to come back twice for it. Great service too.

The English muffins and the eggs Benedict are really tasty. The prices though... are just completely outrageous, especially for the portion sizes. It costs $13 for a single Caesar... a minimum wage worker would have to work almost an hour to afford this one drink. I will also add that the portions used to be larger when this place first opened.

After spending a lovely few days in Whistler decided to stop off at this well reviewed place for breakfast on the way home. Line up to get in which turned out to be a 10ish min wait which was fine. Waitress was really disinterested on arrival to our table. Ordered 3 dishes and 2 coffees. The food was pretty good for most part with the exception of potatoes were undercooked. During the over 30 mins we were eating we were never asked once if we wanted a coffee refill ($3 a pop) or how our meal was or any water or anything until we asked for the bill. I don t know if it was an off day for this particular waitress but we felt undervalued as guests for the prices we paid for our food.

Wow! The quality and taste are second to none! The servers are very good and you can watch to care taken with food preparation in their open plan prep area. I will be back!

Great food. The spaetzle and the cabbage rolls and the schnitzel are superb. Pretty good caesar too.

Really mediocre experience. The food took awhile. We saw our food sit on the counter for 5 minutes, not under a heat lamp before it was brought over. Everything is cold. My eggs were hard boiled by the time I cut into it.

Service with a smile ! The most delicious freshly squeezed oj mimosa! The bacon benny was so yummy! A must stop!

Super tasty burgers and good portions! The store is a must-visit if youre in the area. The interior of the restaurant is also really nice :)

Haven t been out to breakfast for a while and decided to give this place a chance based on the reviews. We were sadly disappointed. The morning started off with my wife s coffee. She thought it was weird that the sugar shaker had both brown and white sugar in it. The expression on my wife s face after a taking her first big sip was priceless. It wasn t sugar. Lol After the laughs were over, the waitress came by to take our order. Firstly my wife is vegetarian and ordered a couple benny s. One was the portobello and the other option she asked about was the spinach with peameal as another vegetarian option, to which the waitress replied yes. Secondly, once we mention the sugar/ salt prank to the waitress, she told us that another server did mention that she may have accidentally put salt in the sugar shaker. You would figure if they knew about this before hand that you would try and avoid this situation from happening. I guess they just didn t know which shaker it was. My wife got a new coffee and tested the new shaker before using it. Our food came super fast which was awesome, but we had no cutlery to dig right in. And this is when we both learned that peameal is actually bacon. Instead of making a fuss and wasting a Benny, my wife gave me the bacon and just got a side of avocado. The eggs themselves were fantastic, but the potatoes were dry and cold, definitely not freshly made. I m not sure if we just came on a bad day, but I wouldn t recommend this place for breakfast. Maybe their lunch and dinner might be better.

Wonderful food and fantastic service!

Stopped in purchase some smoked meat/ pea meal bacon in their store , which happened to be a freezer in the doorway. Unfortunately the owner shared that she did not have time in the summer to make extra to sell. Bummer. We did decide to stay & have an early dinner. My husband had the smokehouse sandwich & spatzle which he said was very good & I had the French onion soup & a homemade English muffin both very good.

Used to love this place! However it seems to have gone downhill. I tried to message them about the experience we had trying to understand if there is a reason to the bad service and old produce but they didn t reply.

I ve been here twice now and it has definitely been the best burger I ve ever had! Warm and friendly staff. I m only giving it 4 stars because their beer menu is lacking in selection. Also, since it s an open kitchen design, you can smell the smoke from the cooking pretty strongly if you are seated nearby.

The food was perfect, service was perfect, atmosphere is great, music was amazing. Id give 6 stars if I could. Lil Bistro is absolutely amazing.

Cute brunch spot, waited half hour for seats, starving big portion versus great price. It s just very hard to call the server as they only had two people serving over 10 tables, it s giving very English breaki vibes.

The soup of the day is always an exceptional choice. I keep going back for it, and I am pleasantly surprised with a new soup every time I visit. The lamb burger is a treat.

This place was great, the food was quick healthy and very presentable. We were a family of four and the food was perfectly portioned for us. And the kid menu was a way better alternative than fast food joints. They rushed the kids order so she could eat. I had the lamb burger and it was so fresh tasting.
