38927 Queens Way #1, Squamish, BC V8B 0K9, Canada
Craft brewery with 'lakeside-meets-the-mountains' tap room and patio with fire pits. Snacks and nonalcoholic options also available on site.
Such a fun find! My wife and I were visiting on a trip for our anniversary and we drove by this spot and immediately were drawn to turn around and have lunch there. Super friendly staff and a very clean ambiance. The drinks were enjoyable, the food was delicious, the bathrooms were clean. Parking was the only annoyance - tight parking and next to no availability! We came a couple different times and it was the same each time.
Good beer and burgers. Good service. Has the light lager and raspberry ale was very good. Burgers were rated 7/10.
Super chill place to grab great beers. Food truck outside, casual seating inside and out (around fire pits when it’s cold). A great place to just hang out with friends!
Not surprised to see all the one star reviews with the same complaint! Went there to get a burger with a friend. After spending $40+ we sat down sharing a Picnic table With other patrons when one of the bar staff walked up to say we cannot eat here unless we buy a drink. NO signage seen anywhere other than their “dog policy”… Only reason we went was for the burgers as the watershed had an hour wait. Staffs approach was rude and unwelcoming, definitely won’t be going back. Don’t recommend this place at all. If you want the burgers, just get takeout…Let’s see how that goes for their bar business. As for the burger joint, you guys should think about moving somewhere else with welcoming staff. You should be thankful people are coming for food other than that that you’d be empty and out of business! Your business would benefit if you guys weren’t such **** and just let people sit to eat… most people would buy drinks without it being forcing down their throats.
This place rocks! Amazing burgers, great beer selection, super friendly staff and a convenient location after a day of hiking. Will definitely be back!
Great burgers at this brewing company restaurant. It has a small seating area inside for eating and drinking. The burgers are from the food truck parked right next to the place. The mushroom burger is great, and the chicken sandwich is pretty good also.
Stopped by this great little place. While we were in Squamish. Great tasting beers. Hubby and I each had a flight. Their patio with fire pits and picnic tables plus super comfy chairs is a huge bonus. They even offer warm blankets. How thoughtful. Would’ve had more beer, but we were heading back home and it’s a bit of a trek
IPA focused menu, which isn't my style, but found the Earl Grey Tart Ale to be really enjoyable. We visited on a warm, sunny Saturday and the patio was full, but we were able to enjoy the indoor seating as well as order online & pick up from the taco truck on site. Cool cabin vibe that suits Squamish well. The ladies working the taps were very efficient and friendly. The parking lot is not big! We actually came back a few times over the weekend before we were able to snag a spot. Just have to be flexible if you want to pay a visit.
1 of the best pubs in town Hybrid service keeps my pint always on the right side of full. Friendly team, good vibes and a really solid local.
Intimate and comfortable brewery space that has a wonderful outdoor seating area, and the Flipside Burger truck has great food! Love to see businesses support each other in this way.
Beers are fantastic as always. Atmosphere is brilliant, the table carved into a cribbage board is so cute. Outdoor space is so cozy/welcoming. Services was just ok, seemed to care more about gossiping / being on their phone than doing their actual job. Would come back for the brilliant beers
Nice, little cozy spot. Beer was great, and so was the service.
Last night as often I went to the place for order a burger, this evening I didn t want to drink alcohol as I usually do and come visit often the brewing for drinking beers and buying beers for taking away. I was sitting inside alone waiting for my burger to be ready and a waiter (tall with black hair) kicked me out of the place because I didn t order a beer! I had to wait outside in the cold to get my burger ready and I can t eat it at the place, I had to change the order and say it is for taking away. Very disappointed, I like the beers there, but I like more the taking care of customer s behavior, then I won t tip anymore there. I mean at the end, they will lost all their customers by acting like that. I told my local friends about this story and they were very surprised
Love this place.
The beer was good. Really cute patio outside. The burgers and sides were amazing. Definitely recommend this place!
Finally, they accept dogs! This is pretty awesome and makes sense when you have a patio. However, as soon as we entered the place, we were looking for where to sit since we brought a dog, but the guy on the desk immediately requested to purchase beer first. We told him that we needed to find a place on the patio first, but he rudely asked us if we were planning to come back and order beers. If they are facing problems with people coming only to eat the Amazing Flip burgers, they should find a solution internally instead of threatening the customer poorly. Its too bad since I really liked to come here.
Very unwelcoming environment. Wont return
One of the best taste of beer I ever had. I really recommend Pale ale.
Stout in the summer Hey 1 star $5 coke guy . You know they have free water? Make that your drink of choice for your health and your budget! Or try the alcohol free ginger beer!
I love this place. Great patio, friendly staff, tasty food and cold beer. Whats not to love?
This establishment is streets ahead.
The staff member we encountered was extremely rude and made us feel like idiots. Would never return or recommend
Always a great time, the beer is amazing and the staff is very friendly. By far the best brewery in Squamish!
I don t know who needs to read this But PLEASE keep the dark lager in your rotation. The coast is so deprived on non-stout dark beer. This beer has increased my foot traffic through your establishment, and has me not even considering other pubs in town. Please pretty please keep this in the rotation!!!
Good selection of beers, a cozy interior, and nice and friendly staff.
My favorite!
Greatest brewery in British Columbia.
Need a dry cider badly for gf people and variety. Straight and arrow even if not enough taps. No good non alcoholic options either like aelo spritz or ole. They ll ask you to leave too.. maybe they should make food in house then versus forcing drink sales
Was pleasantly surprised at how many non-alcoholic options were available to me. They are a brewery but really do cover all their bases/customers with the extensive options. The house made Ginger Beer and the zero alcohol Margherita were so amazingly yummy, and when I wanted a pre-mixed virgin canned option, I had 5 to choose from!
Went for food and drinks after a long hike, service was good, beer was great, and food truck was wonderful as well. Overall not a bad experience. However I brought my dog as this is a dog friendly brewery and they told me I had to leash my dog up outside of the patio near a busy street and not close to the patio.
5$ for a can of coke that i can get for 2$ at the store!!!! 5$ so we can sit inside to eat a burger. If this isn t a rip off I don t know how to call it. I don t drink alcohol and it s pouring rain. That make a lunch expensive really quickly! The only reason I will give a star is for the service. The staff is friendly and welcoming.
Missing the Earl Grey Lemon Tart. Is it coming back?
Nice cozy place, beer was excellent, delicious burgers with even more delicious fries. Minus 1 star for not allowing dogs on the patio
What a place! Great beer and I had possibly the best burger of my life from the food truck on the patio. Will come back many times.
Fun place with good vibes and good peeps
Try their award winning dark lager. It s tasty as hell! Look out Backcountry!
Nearby Backcountry was closed, so my son and I went here for the first time. It is OUTSTANDING, made even better by the five-star food truck adjacent to the premises. Love the beer, food, decor, ambience etc. Definitely worth stopping by...
I always enjoy visiting this brewery after a bike ride in Squamish. Great beer and atmosphere! Unfortunately we ordered the fish and the cauliflower tacos from the food truck. Hardly any fish, just batter and the cauliflower was waaaay over battered. The guac that came with the chips was just a creamy avo sauce drizzled on top. Not what we expected and worth the price. Although I ve had there non battered tacos before and they were good.
Great place, always love the beer and the nice patio.
We love it here! The staff are amazing (Chris is great with kids!), beers are delicious (and theres gf drink options too!), and now that Flipside burgers is parked there (and their burgers are heaven).. Its the perfect match! Its a family favorite!
Cute spot, decent beer. Food truck is now burgers, which looked really good.
New burger food truck is a game changer
Great beer with a solid food truck.
Amazing burgers, great beers and friendly staff. Hit it both on the way to and from Whistler!
10/10 Ive been here atleast 500 times, staff are great, beer is great.
A Squamish favorite. Easy going, currently hooked up with flipside burgers outside to provide food options, it s a winning matchup.
Horrible Service. I was trying to sit down and eat a delicious flip side burger, when rude man bun asked me to stand in the curb and eat my burger because I wasn t drinking a beer.
Great spot to hang out and grab some beers, always a good selection of beer and nice atmosphere with friendly staff. Plus now you can get burgers without going out to the parking lot, the extended deck and new food trailer are awesome.
Best brewery in Squamish. I should know, I ve tried them all.
Good beer, great curly fries, AMAZING burgers. Had two of the most popular beer and it was very nice, as well as the Hot mess burger and mushroom feta burger. My partner and I agree that these are the best burgers we have ever had.
Creamale was wonderful. Flipside burger and chief chicken was excellent!
Great beer nice casual spot.
Brewery bar with a nice terrace, a bit uncomfortable inside. About 8 different beers to choose from
The Beer is mediocre, they force you to buy it in order to get the burgers. If you do great beer, you dont need to put a sign at the entrance making mandatory to get drinks. Flip side burgers are great, I hope they get their own space soon You should spend less energy forcing people to buy drinks, and focus on making great drinks so you go for the drinks and not just for burgers Overpriced drinks, rude service. Just get the burgers to go
Although the space is nice specially their patio, their team is often rude and their beer is average. The team at A frame dont have a welcoming attitude and the only reason we keep coming back is because our favourite burger food truck, FlipSide, is here too. If Flipside wasnt there, we would not be coming at all.
July 2023 what a cute little brewery with a fantastic patio! The kiwi sour was definitely the highlight of my flight. Definitely check out the food truck too!
The beers are fantastic and the atmosphere is inviting! Really enjoying the new burger food truck option you guys are hosting!
A great and friendly place. Beers are solid, too. Great patio! Can bring your own food with purchase of drink.
Not a good experience here today. Very rude and unfriendly staff
Best local beer around!!
Went there after a long hike to get a beer very tasty and delicious
Great local brewery! Their staff is always welcoming and I especially love their seasonal sours. Must visit when in Squamish!
Great beers - love the Shuswap and Naramata Lake IPAs.
Quick visit for some to-go cans. The tangerine wheat is yummy.
Not easy to see from the main road. I was on my way to another brewery when I discovered this. Glad I did, as the wild berry ale was excellent
Excellent beer choices and great food truck
Good patio, blankets, nice non alcoholic selection, will come back.
If your going to partner with a food truck allow the customers to sit on your patio. I ve been many times for a drink and gotten food because of it. Today I came for a burger and may have bought a drink but wasn t even allowed to order food from the patio first ..
Great atmosphere. Beer is great. Fantastic set up with the taco truck to be able to being food into the brewery and enjoy both. Update: taco truck is no longer there but Flipside burgers is fantastic.
Great beer, friendly staff, cant recommend this place enough
Killer atmosphere
A squamish staple, glad we were able to stop in. They have a delicious assortment of beers on tap, and the Luz taco truck is the cherry on top.
Definitely a fan. Had a tasting flight that was a solid mix of beers. Loved the Forrest sour. Appreciated the decor, the food truck outside, and there wasn t a tv on. My kind of place.
Perfect atmosphere amazing place amazing taco
Really great beers, done to style. Service was awesome, friendly and I will be back. 10/10 recommend
Beer was good. Ive had some delicious sours on our trip to BC. This place wasnt my forte as far as those go. But, everyone has different tastes. Cool setup inside and out and has a taco truck outside which is a bonus. Washrooms could definitely be a bit cleaner.
This was a nice place to have a couple of drinks with some friends. The staff were very friendly and helped me find a great beer. The cream ale is far better than any Ive had before. I will definitely be back to try some more of their selection. I didnt have any tacos this time, but, Ive been here before and they are delicious.
Unpleasent customer service.
If you ve had enough fruit-bombed or flavour jammed brews, this is the place. Local, normal brews, done well. Cream ale is
Please bring back the Cupcake Lemon & Earl Grey tart ale...absolute favourite, told everyone about it and then it disappeared! Would have been nice if the guy behind the bar didnt scoff when I asked about it too, not the kindest response. Otherwise really love this spot, especially if you can snag the fire pits on the patio. Perfect after a hike.
Absolute favourite place to hang-out. The beer is delicious and varied, the staff are friendly and attentive. Thank you Carla, Casey, John, Luke, Jeremy & Jeff! Sorry if I missed anyone :-)
A-Frame does the best beer in town and has the best patio. They dont serve food but you are welcome to bring your own or order from the the taco truck outside. Its bar service, but the staff are attentive and will always offer to bring you another beer if you are running low and are seated. Unfortunately they charge for refills of beer, but I guess this is needed in order to run a profitable business (if they offered free refills I would find a way to leave a 6 star review). A-Frame has a really great team, there are no weak-links. They have low staff turnover which is likely a credit to Jeff, the owner. Its nice as a local to see the same faces whenever we stop by for a beer (or 3). They are also invested in the community (#payitforward). Squamish is lucky to have A-Frame Brewing.
Nice local brewery with awesome stuff, great beer
Just stopped by to buy some beers. The server/cashier was just staring at her phone and texting while scanning the beers and chatting with other servers about her personal life as if the customers were not in front of her. That was my first impression of visiting here.
Terrible experience. Spent $50 dollars on tacos and cokes (6 tacos 2 cokes) only to be told that we are Not allowed to eat while sitting down because I don t want to drink and drive. Lots of empty seats. Will not be returning Edit for owner, this was not communicated by anyone, there was no signage or rules posted before I placed an order and purchased a drink from your on site vendor-partner. It was not a busy time and allowing my workmate and I to sit for 10 minutes would have built a better relationship for my future patronage. After my experience with the rude bartender and now this curt response from the owner, I now know my decision not to return is the correct one. A recycling depot and automotive plaza across the road from a works yard isn t really my idea of a great place for beers anyway.
Lovely brewery with a lovely vibe. We arrived a little late to catch the quiz night, but enjoyed listening in all the same. Great IPA! Friendly staff... whats not to like!
Ride people
Bad service
Pretty looking brewery beside the taco food truck. I like the aesthetic inside and they have a nice wooden patio for sitting and enjoying. It s a nice place to relax and have some beers especially if you re close to the sandman hotel. There are other amenities and the area so you can always find your way here if you re just going on a walk.
A good selection of beers that are refreshing and the service was wonderful. Chilled out vibe. Lovely view from the patio
Great little brewery and amazing patio space!
You know when that butterflies feeling hit and all your feelings turn into maximum happiness? Thats how I feel when that first sip of ultra delicious crispy delightfulness hits, right in the sunlight on that mega fresh patio. Also bonus point for best staff on the seatosky. 10/10 would drink again. Anytime. Anyday.
Great tacos too
Mean staff
We were really shocked to walk into the establishment and have the staff be so cold and stand-offish. Vibe was way off maybe a bad day but not great. The tacos tho BANGERZ! So authentic and lovely. The environment also super beautiful.
Great beer and Tacos!!
Solid beer. Nothing super funky, experimental or complex. The smoked beer was the best offering. The others are more patio crushers.
Great experience. Wonderful patio with lights, firepits and a taco truck on site. Server was very helpful figuring out their confusing sticker board and even gave me a freebie when I struggled deciding between my two favourites. All round excellent experience.
Smaller selection of beer compared to the other local breweries. A little pricey. Beer was okay. We always do flights do try everything. Staff seemed a little disinterested. Food truck outside saves this brewery. Good food. We were here for several days so hit every brewery up here from Squamish to Pemberton twice for a better perspective.
Nice aesthetic but with only one option for cider, overpriced sub par Mexican food, and requiring dogs to be tied to the fence outside can t say it checks many of my boxes
Beers are generally pretty good but the major selling point for me is that its way more chill than backcountry. Staff are nice and setup is good
Good beer and the lovetacos truck make the most amazing tacos Ive had in forever.
Such a diverse lineup of beers, there s always something new each time I visit. The bonus is that the staff are so friendly!
Been there probably 20 times, beer simply isnt good, dunno why I keep coming back
A super solid brewery. Despite never being blown away by a beer, I always find myself coming back here. All the beers are solid and the laid back vibes are second to none. The staff are friendly and the food at luz tacos is fantastic. A must go if you re in the area.
Great beer and great atmosphere. One of my favourite spots!
Back again on Nov 26 and as good as ever. Tried the Lake Lemon & Earl Grey, very fresh and light so easy to nab a couple! Always seems to be a table so I hardly try anywhere else, avoid the let down of table 40 minutes syndrome.... which no one likes. Just an all around great feel, friendly staff, decent food just out the door... And, you can see the mountains! Go there, or like me... Go back there!
One of my favourite breweries in Canada! The beer and ciders are good, but the atmosphere and patio make it an 14/10. Will be going back everytime I am in Squamish.
Staff very unfriendly towards out of town visitors. I recommend trying Backcountry which has great atmosphere and better beer.
All their beers were delicious, i took some home with me. Cool there is a taco truck right outside too.
I give it a 4, because they dont have their own menu, but an outdoor canteen is available and very good. Nice atmosphere, good beer. I recommend it.
My partner and I spent a great couple of hours at A-frame yesterday. Its a must do everything we re in squamish. All the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and approachable. They take covid regulations very seriously but they dont let that take away from the upbeat cabin vibes when you get in and seated. Such an amazing spot with great beers, food and views!!
A Frame is a great brewery. They do a lot to support the local community. And also leave random acts of beer-ness around town! Great patio and taco truck. Check it out!
Thanks for keeping the patio open for locals!
Beware of drink in hand policy
Terrible service. They refused to let me use the washroom despite buying tacos from Luz Tacos which they jointly share a property with. They said they re separate businesses but they are absolutely not separate. They are physically located together and advertise as being together, they have signboards as a joint business etc. So they can benefit from their association but the customers who keep their doors open can t. Terrible business model lacking understanding and respect for why they are in business at all. The few times I ve been to Aframe it s always the same. Some bs little rule that makes absolutely no sense. I keep thinking it s a one-off bad experience but seems to be their MO. Don t have expectations of decent service if you go to this place.
Totally awesome...they serve beer...need I say more?
Got rudely turned away at the door because they only serve Squamish residents- yet I had been working there for almost 2 weeks. Pretty bad for business though when the Howe Sound Brewery served me just fine, as well as other restaurants etc. Wont be coming back and giving A-Frame my business moving forward. I even called ahead of time after perusing their web page for any restrictions and wouldve thought that piece of info wouldve been nice to have reiterated over the phone before heading over. At the door I was told about their restrictions on their webpage- and there it was, waayyy at the bottom of the page (how convenient).
Great beer ! ...great Tacos !
Good beer no the best in the squamish but no to bad, they dont have food in the service and the food truck outside is delicious but they close one hour after (9pm) than a-frame,(10pm) so if you wanna eat and drink you have to go with time.
Always amazing, friendly staff with a beautiful patio! Highly recommend!
Beer 5/5 great classics with a bit of a twist. Patio 5/5 Nice and open with a lot of shade.Service 5/5.
Best patio in Squamish. Fun staff and very good selection of locally crafted beer. Fire pits and good social vibe.
Loved their beer. A cold one to quench a hot summer day on a beautiful patio with some awesome tacos from Luz! A gem of a find. Will def visit again.
Extremely rude staff. Call themselves full service, but don t serve you, and don t have their own kitchen. Beer was below average, hit up the taco stand up front, but skip this brewery.
DO NOT GO HERE - glasses were dirty, staff were rude, bathrooms weren t clean, felt very uncomfortable being there, wish we would have taken our business elsewhere.
Great craft beers, great service and patio! Love it.
Good beer, tacos from the food truck are tasty, and friendly staff. Well go again for sure.
Each beer had the name of some lake and very unique. I like the atmosphere, I could relax and enjoy variety of craft beers!
Love the vibe of this place and. Wry good beer too. Something for all taste preferences. There was also a taco truck out front. The perfect pair.
Was very rudely refused to be seated. Maybe because we re not local and had a different brewery hat on? Not sure, but don t waste your time. Backcountry Brewery has superior service and was not discriminatory.
Easily the best patio to enjoy a beer on in Squamish always a good time with great beer and awesome staff. 10/10 every time
Favorite hangout in Squamish. Always greeted with a friendly smile and a tasty pint of pale ale.
AVOID THIS PLACE. Should ve read the recent reviews before heading to this place. They re all the same story. Door guy was extremely rude. He refused to seat us or even give us a wait time because we asked for a patio seat, so we could be near our dog. I asked if there was a spot from inside in eye view of our dog/truck while we wait for a patio seat. Instead, he just threatened to tow our truck when there were 6+ vehicles parked on the road. He just shrugged his shoulders and said too bad refusing to even give us a wait time. Eventually, I said we ll try somewhere else and he replied sarcastically awesome, bye . It s sad to see the owner below supporting this type of behaviour and customer service.
I Love that place! Everyone was super nice and welcoming! Really liked the energy there! Also let s all be kind to each other and understanding during that tough covid time when it s super hard to find people to work. Be patient and respectful!
This is my favourite place for drinks in Squamish. It s inclusive and welcoming with a fun vibe. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable, the patio is awesome and the tacos are great! Can t say enough good about them. Make it a must-visit when you re in the area!
Best brewery around!
Great brewery with great beer and even greater values! A must visit in Squamish
This place is the best brewery in Squamish. Not only is the beer delicious, the patio is a beautiful place to hang and Luz tacos is simple amazing. The A-Frame team is also actively involved in so many amazing community initiatives and truly gives back to the spirit of this great town. 10/10 recommend.
Staff was extremely rude (muscly 40 year old dude hopefully not the owner). Refused to even add us to the wait list for the patio. We were not even given a wait time, as the owner assumed below. (We had all day) This tendency of the staff to blame and be condescending to the guests is consistent with the owner s responses. I feel bad for Luz Tacos that probably loses customers due to this the brewery s rudeness/discrimination.
I ve had bad service LOTS before (it happens!) but the staff here were just flat out rude. Made us feel uncomfortable and like a hindrance.
Beautiful mountain view from their patio, lovely music and nature sound combination, relaxing atmosphere. Its so nice for just being here. There is a taco foodtruck that smells awesome. Their beers are not my type tho, and pricy, thus 4 stars #HazyIPA #craftbeers #squamish
5 stars for the great outdoor space, following COVID protocols, and having a food truck nearby. Minus a star due to my personal preference of not loving the beers I tried. Minus a star for the service. I walked up asking if they had a hazy IPA, because thats my kind of beer. The man at the counter said, We dont do hazy IPAs. This is not Backcountry. Ok, your highness, forgive me for not knowing what youre all about before showing up at your door. I would have appreciated you giving me some suggestions, instead of the response that youre not Backcountry. I never said anything about Backcountry. Im not sure what you have against another local business, but theres no need to take that out on a customer who simply asked if you have a hazy IPA.
Always a pleasure to be here! Great collection of ! Cream ale is a must-try!
Place is so good and the Beers are excellent. So nice to get some cool Mexican food too!
Happiness in a glass!! The staff are always rad and super friendly. Get your fill in. Personal fav is Cup Lake. Or the BallyLama is pretty darn good if theres a sour that s too much.
The dudes behind the bar are ace
First off, this brewery does so much great work in the community and are vocal and active in supporting community groups like Squamish Pride and any small local business they can. Every time I go to A-Frame there s a fun vibe in there, all the beautiful staff are always groovin to good tunes and slangin beer better than I ve ever seen. The beers are brewed with as much finesse as they are poured too. Consistent and balanced-my favourite go to is the IPA, but the Cream Ale is a crowd pleaser for dad beer lovers. The patio is newly expanded and has perfect views of Atwell Peak, stunning in the sunset. As a bonus the taco truck is the best Mexican food in the sea to sky by far. Overall, it s the type of place to make your second home.
Favourite place to have a beer in Squamish!
Had a such a great time the first night of my vacation i thought id come back and see if it was as good the second time and it was . Staff , especially Carla, were awesome , loved the patio the beer and the taco truck. I can highly recommend trying them out.
Great outdoor space with lights, fireplace, and a taco truck. Varied beer list (lager, cream ale, saison, ipas), NA options, good service. Beers we had were real nice.
Fantastic service every time we stop here! Crew are attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Great place for a visitor to town or a local weekly spot. Love this brewery! Luke in particular, is great and always remembers what beer is your favourite!
Solid pale ale
Great little spot. Nice patio
Awesome atmosphere, staff is friendly and helpful. Oh, the beer is pretty good too. Luz tacos on point as well. Check it out...
A-Frame has a brew for every taste- stout, cream ale, IPA, Kombucha, and other creative flavours. The tap room is cozy and the porch is comfortable even in winter with fire pits. Check for weekly trivia and food trucks!
My favourite spot in Squamish to grab a beer after a day in the mountains. They have a great vibe, tasty beer, friendly staff and have really become a milestone in the community
Dont come in 10 to 15 minutes before closing. They may close early despite you standing at the front having obviously made a trip to visit them. And, dont expect an apology.
Came here on a Saturday night and had a great time. I ordered one flight and my other half ordered another so we could get a taste of them all. The stout was lovely and the tropical IPA was also a hit. Overall a good experience.
Went there on Saturday 7/25. We had large group, 9 people. Totally understanding that we would need to split into 2 groups. Guy at the door said we are not taking larger than 6 people groups because they had one group that didn t obey the rules. Therefore their policy now as a company is not to take groups larger than 6. Of course we didn t understand because we already understood the government rules. The guy started giving an attitude because we questioned, politely, why we couldn t separate into two groups. So is this really a company policy or were they just shunning outsiders?
I wish I could give negative star rating. The host was extremely rude and unwelcoming. A group of us rode in from the Fraser valley to specifically go and check out their establishment. With the pandemic going on, we knew our group would have to be separated. We asked for two tables one for four people and one for five people knowing six is the max per table at most establishments anywhere. We were told nope, because other groups disobeyed those rules so they lumped us in with them even though we specifically asked for two separate tables. You could tell they really did not want us there especially by his tone of voice. Avoid this place like the plague unless you want to be treated like a second-rate citizen. I would highly recommend going to Geo Cider company, as the owner was extremely welcoming. We sat at two separate tables like we had originally asked. The food was amazing, the ciders and beer phenomenal and the service second to none. A-Frame Brewing, the 9 of us have told everyone we know about our experience there. You have lost more than 9 new customers who most likely would have been repeat customers! Not a good way to do business.
My husband and I visited this wonderful craft brewery on our way to Whistler this weekend, and stopped again on the way home to enjoy it a second time. Their COVID-19 Health & Safety Protocol is commendable - contact tracing, clearly marked social-distance markers, and sanitizing happening throughout both visits. I have been apprehensive about being in public places, but I was very impressed with their measures. Not to mention the beer is excellent - if you do make a stop, grab the lime sour. One of the best brews I have had this summer! Definitely a five out of five stars (I wish I could give a bonus star for the taco truck out front!)
Weekly trivia is so much fun! Friendly staff, local independent worth supporting. Would recommend :)
I never give 5 stars, place just fits me! Great staff, always good to talk too! They like the raptors, well one of them does!!!.....bonus point for Fiddie Diddy protocols (physical distance)
The staff and the beer are fantastic!
I only grabbed a 4 pack to go so I cant speak about the inside. The service was good and the beer is good. They had a nice patio set up and a Mexican food truck setup out front.
The server was extremely rude and clearly didn t want to be there.
Love the rustic feel of the place! There s also a patio with fire pit outside. COVID protocols in place are 10/10. We had to write down our contact information before we were allowed in. It looks like the pens are wiped down after use. The floor is marked for direction and the tables are spaced out. They had a taco truck stationed outside and we were able to bring the food back into the seating area to have with our drinks.
Tried: - once in oct 2019, so review is not conclusive - had a couple of beers (i believe IPAs) and sat in the patio near the fire pit at night Pros: - great location - lovely patio seating - food truck available - good service - price is reasonable - fire pit available Considerations: (Hence the 3 stars) - BIG ONE for me is DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED in the patio. They have to be tied to the outside of the patio, possibly away from the are where you may be sitting. It would encourage me to visit them more if they had some convenient dog-friendly options - beers were decent
West coast brewery tour continues....today drove to Squamish on a HOT sunny day with the roof down to find some place to drink a few. Found this little gem of a spot. Nothing like an ice cold Czech Pilsner to refresh.
My partner and I came in through the gate of the patio since that was where the dog water bowl was. The guy on shift made us feel unwelcome and tainted our whole experience, by passively aggressively asking us why we did it, declaring that patrons must sign in at the front entrance. He was unnecessarily rude and accusatory, like he was catching us out stealing or something. I understand frustration and judgement of others during COVID, but you shouldn t work in customer service if you re gonna be this rude for no reason. I won t be returning.
I was there for the Liz tacos. The A-frame looks like a sound spot.
Awful service. The guy on shift spoke to me with the most disrespect simply because I entered the premises through the yard gate and sat down with my partner. The gate was open and there was no sign to direct customers to the front door. The server proceeded to speak to me like trash and then stood behind the bar whispering to his colleague whilst looking at me shaking their heads.
Loved the rustic decor and atmosphere that they have at A-Frame. It was great to be able to sit on the patio and enjoy the view of the mountains. The place was super clean in line with Covid protocols. The beer itself was good, but nothing that overly stood out.
Im not even supposed to be here today sour is worth the trip alone
Tacos and beer! Yum!
Great little spot for a little sunshine, some great beer and if you lucky, tacos!
Just plain rude. Don t bother with this place. The taco place is awesome though and a separate business. Get tacos, but don t spend your hard earned dollars at the brewery.
Great beer, great atmosphere, amazing Tacos (Luz Taco Truck)
Staff was very professional and friendly. They only had the 5 beers they made on tap which is a bit small and none of them particularly jumped out at me (although Im not particularly a huge fan of IPAs or pale ales in general). It was still a fun environment and I enjoyed my experience! And the tacos from the taco truck were pretty decent aswell!
Staff here are awesome, and the beer is sensational. The Pale Ale is spot on!
Tasty beer and friendly staff!
Great beer! Small menu but all delicious, most are stable favourites then 1 or two rotating taps. Lots of non beer options too. Adjoining taco truck, Luz Tacos, is the best around. Highly recommended the Baja Prawn taco (pictured) but can t go wrong whatever you order. Location is easy to find with lots of space to park, but on a busy road next to a car garage which takes away from the Cabin Vibes .
Great beer, nice patio seating. Dig the brand, lots of merch options to take Aframe home with you. Luz tacos are
Always a great place to visit. Great beer and excellent service... Ill be back again and again
