Most popular restaurant/coffee shop in Squamish. The food is excellent, with great breakfast goodies and lunchtime soups. The service is great and the atmosphere is wonderful. This cozy spot is always busy, with locals and visitors alike. The owners still work there, the staff are friendly and bubbly!

An Awesome place for a motorcycle destination. This was my first time visiting The Green Olive Cafe. A true gem in the Beautiful City of Squamish. I had the Quatro Grilled Cheese sandwich and an Americano coffee. Delicious! Great friendly staff, great atmosphere, inside and outside eating areas, everything hand made. I always make a point of coming to Green Olive when I visit Squamish. Staff are always friendly and food is always fresh and tasty.

I find myself frequently returning to Green Olive for its delicious freddo cappuccinos, fresh food made with quality ingredients, and welcoming staff. They sell Mediterranean ingredients for your own home cooking, including pastas, sauces, San Marzano tomatoes, olives, vinegars, canned fish and octopus, and imported sweets. You will not find their culinary products in any other grocery store in town. Of my 12 years in Squamish, I can safely say Green Olive is one of the best cafes here and my personal favorite. Stopped in for a coffee but purchased an iced cappuccino. Was totally delighted with the place and glad that I gotten the iced cap. Fantastic.

Ordered the signature avocado toast and had quite high expectations. I paid extra for gluten free bread but only got one slice compared to 2 slices if having just the normal bread. It mentions walnuts and goat cheese, however very little of either was sprinkled over the avocado toast. For what you get, I unfortunately found it overpriced. The decor was nice inside and quaint. I just didnt feel the food matched.

Best food ingredients I have ever had the pleasure of choosing from. The pera sandwich is extremely good with fresh pairs and bre! Great scones, cafe drinks and good vibes. One of the staff taught my girlfriend tips how to make legit pasta. Awesome people!

I enjoyed the pera, which was very balanced. A good mix of sweet, nutty, and cheesy with the splash of balsamic.

Super cute café with Italian products for sale. My husband and I both had the turkey avocado BLT on Nelson the Seagull sourdough. It was phenomenal! Perfectly toasted with the right amount of sauce and made with quality ingredients. We both agreed its probably the best sandwich weve had in BC. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Squamish.

One of the best iced chai lattes Ive ever had!

Green Olive is a Squamish highlight for locals and visitors. I love the owners, great staff and delicious food. Coffee and treats are wonderful! My favourites are their avo toast, full veggie sandwich and shakshuka. They make great tasting espresso macchiato here. Every other coffee shops in Squamish (ouch, sorry) have very acidic and citrusy coffees, which is not my jam. Green Olive gets my classic, coffee flavour profile - good nutty chocolatey. Mmm. I always look forward to the Squamish Hot Chocolate Festival, since Green Olive is one of the best places to go and drink their hot cocoa!

Everytime Ive been here its been busy..good food, good service. Finding a table can be challenging. This time I had the Muffleta Sammie, really good. Food

So good we came back TWICE. Some of the best sandwiches ive ever had and im usually not a bread person. Really recommend the tartufo but honestly you cant go wrong. Also really appreciate the option to forgo sweetener for the coffee drinks.

Looks like food and drinks may be wonderful and is very busy which attests to local interest. However, there is no way to order one cappuccino to go in an efficient and easy manner. You wait in line behind all the people placing big food orders. It took me 30 minutes on a Monday to get a coffee. The cashier would not help me with that which seemed to be poor service

Food is good but staff has been rude on several occasions. Today I ordered a Greek salad as I always do, and it came without feta, especially the red head female was extremely rude to me when she told me to read the menu and to pay $3.95 to ad feta, I m fine to pay but how about ask the questions necessary ahead of time, never have I ordered a Greek salad before that feta was an add on and if it is they should let you know Ahead of time.

A great place for a sandwich and a coffee.

I visited The Green Olive Cafe in Squamish with a friend last week and we had a lovely experience. Even while it was a tad chaotic/busy, the staff were gracious, friendly and had an organized system in place. They also offer an array of imported packaged goodies. You can tell this is a gem for locals. We purchased two oat milk matcha lattes and two gluten free breakfast sandwiches and they were amazing. I am not sure what kind of GF buns they use, but I would love to purchase some. I m still dreaming of them! I hope I can get the details for this! Thanks:)

Wouldn t recommend for people with food allergies the staff here were not able to provide me with ingredients or allergen information. Strange that the veggie sandwich has nut-free pesto, but has walnuts on the sandwich what is the point of nut-free pesto then? Food was decent but overpriced. Very few options for plant-based. Pretty excited about this place. Its truly an authentic Italian deli in downtown squamish. The owner is super friendly and helpful and the food is always delicious

easily hands down my most favorite café in Squamish. Ive postponed writing a review for years because every sandwich I get is my new favorite, and every soup is delicious. everything is wonderful and it never disappoints & I am always happy here.

Kid-friendliness: They have lots of kids toys. The staff is great and the owners are very dedicated. It is a great place for all ages. You can find products from Greece and some coffees are made exactly the wa they make them in Greece, like the freddo capuccino. If you are heading to Whistler, make a stop here for sure. This Cafe is a hidden gem with an unforgettable dining experience. I had the Mediterranean Eggs: perfectly poached eggs on creamy Greek yogurt, topped with fresh herbs and aromatic chilli oil, accompanied by crusty, olive oil-drizzled bread. The cozy atmosphere and amazing staff made the visit even more enjoyable!

Had a take out on my lunch from work other day, first time I d been in and WOW the veggie vegan pesto eggplant sandwich BLEW ME AWAY!! and when do I ever get to have a vegan choco chip cookie?! Never. Loved the paper wrapping and raffia used to tie it around. Enchanted by the look all the vegan options, will be back for more :)

We stopped there on our way to Whistler and we loved it all from its location, to its design and service to their delicious authentic- Italian food.

Loved this cafe! I ordered the creamy and spicy beans and they were fantastic. Really great atmosphere, it felt like a place that encouraged community. Definitely not a sit on your laptop in silence type of place, which we really liked.

Great little lunch spot with a decent amount of seating, seemed like the local place for lunch. We had a couple sandwiches, they were pretty good. Had their full veggie sandwich to take for Slhanay and the Chief and it was hands down, the best sandwich Ive ever had mountain top or not. The eggplant, tomatoes, arugula, artichokes, pesto, walnuts and fantastic bread came together into a blissful experience. Even the kraft paper and twine wrap they used was a perfect touch to an already virtuous sandwich. My first experience inspired me to return, where having their green olive sandwich was good but noting to write homeabout. Loads of good hummus, arugula, and some figs and olives on an soft loaf of pita.If this was my first experience I probably would not have returned. Just came up to Squamish for a day drive and stopped here. Lovely spot for brunch. The staff is so nice, the shakshuka, croissant, and latte were wonderful. Highly recommend.

This is my new favourite place. Probably the best coffee I ve ever had. The same could be said for their food. I ve tried 3 of the sandwiches and plan on trying everything else on the menu. Absolutely delicious and fresh. The cafe is so nice too. Fresh flowers on every table, just such a great place.

We got a latte and Nutella hot chocolate. They forgot about our order but it seemed like a rare occurrence and they were very sorry about it. The drinks were very good and worth the wait! Had a avocado turkey blt and an iced latte the sandwich was DELICIOUS and it was the most beautifully crafted & delicious iced latte I have ever had.

This my favourite spot in Squamish for a quick bite or to grab a sandwich to enjoy on a hike in the area. But I warn you its hard not to eat the warm sandwich as soon as you get it. Theres lots of seating inside or in the sunny patio while admiring the grand Chief. I love all the plants too, which add a very earthy vibe. There is an assortment of choices for all diets, including even some gluten-free options! But double check if youre celiac since Im not sure about cross contamination. You really cant go wrong with any of the sandwiches but my favourite are are veggie or the spicy Italian. Theres also a variety of specialty Italian groceries you can grab while you wait for your food. The service is always friendly and cheerful. And dont forget a latte to go! Seriously, this place is THE BEST.

Best breakfast ever! I had the Breakfast Toast and it was such a delightful dish. Until I tasted my boyfriend s Mediterranean Toast I almost stole his plate so I could eat both! You guys locked up with that butter! My compliments to the Chef!

Great place to stop for brunch on a weekend and to pick up some gourmet cooking supplies. They ve got some really nice light options like Shakshuka and Mediterranean eggs. We had to wait a bit for food since it was a busy morning but was quite a reasonable wait.

Incredibly tasty and unique dish! Mediterranean poached eggs in a bed of Greek yogurt was spectacular choice from their brunch menu. The focaccia was a great starter. Flat white was delicious.

Im originally form France and they had amazing croissants and pain au chocolat, we bought them all, it was too good And I found some real mozzarella I 100% recommend even for breakfast. Thank you for the awesome expérience

I got the spicy Italian sandwich & an iced American! The sandwich tasted very good however quite small for the price! Iced coffee very good! I really did not appreciate the poor attitude of the lady who had to come outside to deliver my sandwich even though informing the staff at the till that I would wait outside with my dog! She was so inconvenienced and I still had to go back inside for the iced coffee, thats what tipping gets you these days!

My experience at Green olive was amazing. The food was tasteful and affordable. The staff was very welcoming and sweet. They made a small mistake with my order but immediately compensated me by offering a free and delicious meal.

Cute Italian cafe/store! We had a traditional sandwich and a tiramisu and they were delicious! It was nice to have warm and strong cappuccino and hot chocolate on a chilly fall afternoon as well. Lots of neat Italian groceries there! We bought some candies and a frozen Nicli pizza (my favorite frozen pizza along with Nightingale s)

Wonderful cafe with great sandwiches, an excellent latte, and caring staff. Owner was extra attentive when he saw me juggling my baby and went above and beyond to get me seated with food delivered, and the lid properly on my coffee. Has a great selection of the special pasta noodles you can t get just anywhere.

I loved this spot! I had the avocado BLT without cheese. It was well-portioned, toasted, and had a good ratio of filling. The atmosphere was quaint, and I particularly loved the amount of plants by the windows. Great location. Not too noisy, although it was packed. 10/10 would recommend. 10/10 would return. Dietary restrictions: Accommodated my lactose intolerance by not including cheese in my sandwich.

There for the Squamish Hot Chocolate Festival....busy in the store as it was a weekend. But the hot chocolate & goodie were tasty. Plus, the selection of pasta & other Italian based items is extensive.

Take all my money. This place is fantastic. Went here twice on a short trip because it was just too good. The tartufo sandwich is fantastic on a hike. The breakfast B.E.A.T was super savory.

Super delicious sandwiches with bread that tastes freshly baked. Also, very fairly priced considering the area and inflation lately. Vegetarian options: A few great vegetarian and vegan options that factor in flavours instead of just throwing the typical lettuce cucumber and tomato on bread.

Try the Nutella hot chocolate if you dont want caffeine...

I had reviewed this place 4 years ago, and went back again last week, and it is still amazing. Great sandwiches and coffee. Very friendly service too. More than 5 stars. Wow! Fantastic sandwiches and very friendly service. They customise the sandwich to your taste. The artisan bread is perfect and well toasted to make it crusty outside.

Best sandwiches in all of Vancouver Squamish and Whistler. The Traditional sandwich was amazing and so was the Alpine and Tartufo. We went on the way up to Whistler and had to stop on the way down. We couldn t stop talking about how good it was!

Paid 10.50 for a small tiny English muffin with very little on it. Some of the ingredients were even missing. Total rip off Wont be back. Reply... There was no tomato or jam. I live places like tgis but 1st time in this one.... and the last.

Avocado toast was excellent, and my husband got the Hero sandwich and latte with a shot of vanilla, which were both very good too! I wished I wasn t so full such that I could also try the croissant, which looked so tempting with all its beautiful layers! I also liked how the tables came in all shapes and sizes. There are a bunch of things from pastas to sauces and everything in between that you can purchase too.

Love the shop and sundry selection - great quality dry pasta and sauces. Staff was friendly. I wanted to love my sandwich and had high hopes unfortunately it was way too much bread to filling ratio, I know costs are high but it needs more filling - meat and cheese or at least less bread - make it smaller but more filled. Quality was good but wish it was on softer bread like a sub or Portuguese bun - again the bread was too big and chewy.

I don t ask for a lot in a breakfast sandwich or a spanakopita either but what I ended up with was a sliced hard boiled egg and melted cheese on an English muffin and my partners spanakopita seemed like it was from a frozen case pack. Super cute location but really disappointed in the food

This place is amazing! They make authentic greek and other cuisine, and their Shakshuka(posted a photo) is outstanding! It s almost impossible to find a better one in North America imho. They also have good coffee and treats and a lot of real European deli items.

This place fills my heart with the authentic European delicacies stocked up on the shelves and homemade baked goods set on the counters. The menu items are made with quality ingredients making for an absolutely mouthwatering experience. The breakfast sandwich is my favourite, albeit, price are high, worth it! I continue to go back for Euro pantry items and food. So glad we have this little cafe in town <3
