I ordered the breakfast burrito and salsa, lentil soup with toast and a coffee. The burrito was served as a tortilla wrap with some scrambled eggs and when I asked for salsa (as advertised on the sandwich board) the lady working had no idea what I was talking about and asked if I meant ketchup. Coffee was quite watered down and the lentil soup was microwaved in a take out box. For $33 I felt the quality of the food was lacking
The girl didn't even know how to make a milkshake unless a milkshake is milk that has been favored like a Milk to go and was just a little mixed how i payd 9$ Is a joke
Mango Lassi was soy milk with ice chunks, almost no mango taste at all all that for 9 dollars. Had the chicken shawarma and it was expensive and the chicken was dry. Overall everything was pricey and tasted like dumpster. Lady behind the counter was nice thought and the cafe itself was nice looking?
Came back again for the breakfast burritos, so delicious and uniquely pressed almost like a panini. Service was friendly and homey :)
Good coffee at half the price compared to branded shop. We were walking and we stumble upon this place with the eye catching benches outside the shop. The lady is very friendly and accommodating making us feel welcome. Come check them out and support local.
Tasty food, very friendly service. More of an Indian bistro rather than a cafe. The sandwiches are grilled in a press, very saucy and with their own special dips, and are excellent - try the pineapple coleslaw, better than expected. Goat curry was rich, spicy (medium hot, for a white guy), and savoury. The Butter chicken was sweet, rich, and a bit spicy. We were pleasantly surprised. Limited indoor seating but we were there on a gorgeous day so the park next door was ideal.
My favourite place for food in Squamish. The inside of the cafe is clean and well decorated, and you are welcomed by friendly staff. Their food, especially the butter chicken samosas are the best. The food is fresh cooked and still hot when you get it, and are perfectly made. Not just the food, but the drinks are good too, I recommend the Mango Lassi. Every time someone asks what they should eat in Squamish, I bring them here.
Was excited to try Parkside Cafe but in the end we were quite disappointed. Ordered goat curry, butter chicken, and 2 samosas. Though the curries tasted okay but the portion sizes were very disappointing. $16 for 2 pieces of goat and naan that looks like it was purchased pre-made from a grocery store was a let down. If you go to any of the other restaurants in town for Indian food you will get 3x the portion for the same price and better quality. The butter chicken was similarly lacking in quantity — 3 small pieces of chicken. The samosas were flat, soggy, and sad at $2.25 each. For about the same price at other Indian restaurants in town you get much larger samosas that are freshly made and tastier. We will stick with the other places from now on. Edit: The owner reached out and spoke with my wife to try to apologize and ensure us that our concerns were taken seriously. I changed this review from 2 stars to 3 to reflect the good customer service we received. That being said, my opinions (and review) stand.
Nice cafe, beautiful in the sunshine very relaxed with friendly staff
Good mango lassi!
A little dirty bathroom and overheard the manager tell the girl to smile more for more business . lol
This little gem of a place has a change in ownership, coffee has changed as has some of the snacks, new offerings however no longer good coffee or homemade samosas
Wrap cost$15 tasty but oily
Terrible coffee and horrible service, our town has many other coffee shops to choose from that are absolutely amazing so no reason to bother with this sub par place.
Great place
Yummy chicken schwarma! Great prices and friendly service.
Best coffee in town and best service
Great experience never ever had a coffee like that in my life
The milkshake was very watery
Ordered a milkshake and it was extremely watery. Whipped cream was great but store bought. Friendly service but do not order ice-cream-related products.
Good luck This place has a new management team. They have started the business recently. Two young hardworking women are looking forward towards a bright future for this business. lets support them to grow. We bought ice cream with chocolate cream on top I wish them good luck and so many customers
Accidentally I found out this place and the experience was amazing . Good food and very friendly service.
Coffee was low quality, tasted bad and the blended drink had large chunks of ice.
They have the best shawarma ever Love it Food
Super awesome food and fantastic staff
Really disappointing! Ordered the halloumi grilled cheese which looked amazing in the pictures they advertise on their board outside. Unfortunately the sandwich was nothing like advertised! It was dry, boring and on toasted wonderbread. $13 for a couple pieces of halloumi and tomato between toast wouldn t recommend
4 juumon points ~ Got a drink to go, cute place! Not bad prices. Thanks have a good one
Ordered Chickpea masala with Naan ($12.95) and Chicken tikka roll ($13.95). Chickpea masala with Naan tasted like the ready to eat stuff from supermarkets (instant curries available in packets to heat and eat). The chickpea masala portion size was miniscule. Naan didnt look or taste like Indian naan roti and felt like very thin and small crispy bread from Superstore or Walmart. Chicken tikka roll was full of veggies and very few shreds of chicken that were difficult to find. Highly disappointed with taste and quantity. Was expecting some authentic Indian food cooked in the restaurant for this price.
Service 10/10, Food 10/10, Vibe 10/10! Amazing food tried the sandwich and the razle both were great my brother had the milkshake and loved it, my fam had the tea (chai) and loved that too! Thanks Japneet K. For the amazing service!
Excellent service! Support immigrants businesses
Definitely better than I expected for a tiny cafe . We ate on the picnic benches on a nice summer s day. It was tasty!
Extremely disappointed. We ordered 2 lassis and a samosa. The samosa was just a tiny frozen samosa you get from the supermarket. Soon as I bit into it, it was oozing water and was still cold in the middle. The lassi was not even close to what it should be. Tasted foul and was a weird peach colour. Not to mention the samosa was nearly $3 and the lassi was $5. We had to throw it out as it was so inedible. The service was friendly. Wish the food was up to par.
Very friendly environment, not an Indian food afficionado so cant comment too strongly on the food other than the butter chicken was delicious and fairly priced!
Food and service amazing !
Sorry but this ice cream tasted old!
Absolutely recommend!
Grabbed a smoked pineapple coleslaw sandwich with aged cheddar, one of the best sandwiches Ive ever had. Employees were super friendly!
Under new ownership. I got the somosas which were nice and I look forward to trying more. Thanks for being so friendly and great food.
First time eating at Parkside since it came under new ownership and I am NOT dissapointed. I ordered butter chicken with rice and naan and a vanilla milkshake for pick-up and was greeted with a warm hello as soon as I walked in. Very friendly staff and hasty service. The food tasted so authentic and was one of the best butter chicken dishes I have ever had. The naan was phenominal and so buttery.
visited with my friends and had strawberry shakes, must say great quality food with vast options in menu.. 100% recommended
Amazing food, and fast delivery. So fast we werent event home yet lol
Bubble tea was served rotten, worker even said she had no idea how to prepare it or how well it keeps in the fridge there as she was serving it to us. Edit due to owner reply: this was a year ago, thanks but ill pass
The vegan Chickpea Masala was delicious and freshly home made. It was creamy with a hint of cilantro and came with a side of rice. It was great to see many vegan options, thank you Parkside Cafe.
Their Cafe is just beyond imagination!!!
Mediocre and overpriced for what it is.
Great coffee and snacks!
Just had a delicious lunch! The kulchas were outstanding. Very friendly service and obviously a hard working family!
Really good food and service
Love this place such a variety of coffee and tea drinks. The drop coffee was just amazing not bitter and also the caramel maciado was excellent. Top marks... Much better than Squambucks
Amazing food and service! Samosa sandwich for the win!
Cute little east Indian Cafe thingy. We got the chicken salad sandwich and it was weird. But like amazing weird. A hint of the far east or something with some toasted bread. Prices are great too!
Nice and cozy place to share with ur loved ones
Great no frills place to grab a fast coffee. My wife had a tasty homemade soup which she loved. The very friendly owner just adds to the joy. Prices are pretty reasonable too.
Really tasty Vietnamese Iced Coffee! I cant remember the name of the sandwich, but it had chicken and some sort of curry mustard? - It was super good. The owner is very friendly. Wouldnt recommend for a sit down meal, but its great for grab and go!
