Chinese Food & Bubble Tea in Downtown Squamish Takeout / Dine-In / Delivery
Visiting from Vancouver and my wife and I were thrilled to have found this quality Squamish gem! Service was 5⭐️, young man that was serving was on point, friendly and very welcoming when we walked in, we instantly liked him. We took a moment to compliment him to the owner, who was also very warm and friendly. Food was as good as any of the top spots we frequent in Vancouver. We will return, great place, cannot speak more highly of the Dragon 🐉 Terrace!
Fantastic! Some of the best Canadian Chinese food I’ve ever had. Very much the standard menu items, but all excellent quality. Fast and friendly service too.
A surprise gem! We arrived in Squamish after a long day of driving and wanted to grab something quick to take out and bring back to our Airbnb — we just randomly stopped here and were very pleasantly surprised— lots of good options, ready in only 15 minutes, and all delicious— all was good but in particular we enjoyed the ginger beef and chicken chop suey— lots of savory and pronounced flavors— the woman who took our order was very helpful, and everything was hot and fresh— highly recommended!
Most people come here for the beverage, but I would really recommend the food as well. The pork fried rice and deep fried prawns were exceptionally delicious for North American restaurants. In fact, such authentic fried rice is typically only found in high end chinese restaurants in Richmond.
Brown Sugar Bubble Tea tasted really well, they give a generous amount of chow mein. Lots of colourful sticky notes on their wall which gives off that high school vibe. Friendly staff and conveniently located! Give them a try!
Not bad, your standard small town Chinese food. Got the combo 1 for dinner for one, not bad. Their take out containers are much smaller then the regular ones (maybe an inch smaller in depth), so quite a small portion. Only one in downtowns aside from the one up the hill so 🤷
Love this place! Nice family owned restaurant. We drive down from Whistler to get food here all the time. This is traditional "American Chinese Food!" For $40, two people can walk out full as can be. Definitely coming back. Service is quick and friendly. Atmosphere would be enhanced with some fresh paint and some pictures to brighten up the place, but the food keeps me coming back.
Tried this restaurant as we were staying in town. We had the wonton soup, crispy egg rolls, #1 dinner, #4 dinner & breaded almond chicken. Best almond chicken I've ever had. The batter was thinking and crispy and the almonds were ground and just the right amount of sweet. Yes, like another said, no fortune cookies, but we didn't care. The prices were really good and we didn't have any problem with the portion sizes. For a family of three we went home with leftovers. We only got pictures at the end of the meal, but at let it shows how much was left.
Only boba in Squamish House milk tea uses Earl grey - pretty good No sugar actually means no sugar hallelujah Tapioca is okay Buy 9 drinks get one free (stamp card) Singapore style friend vermicelli - pretty good - well stir fried (noodles intact, sauce evenly distributed, not-mushy/soggy) - could use more salt and sauce - way better than expected (I was told Squamish didn t have good Chinese food) - really hit the spot - big portion
Great place to go and hang out with friends and family. Their food is authentic and delicious. They have a lot of options to chose from.
Very good food and good service from Jef great
Good food but the service is meh she was nice to others but not us lol
This aint it
I like their food. It tastes like home. Of course, it is North American Chinese food, but as a Chinese, I like it. Its simple and yummy, and the price is really reasonable.
We finally found a Chinese restaurant with good options, excellent service and delicious Chinese plates % recommended!
Nothing special
Personally my favorite Chinese food in town. The boba is great too.
Yo makes the best bubble teas in Squamish!!! I ve been often and this girl truly makes the best. She s got the magic touch. Always happy to see me when I come visit! Thanks Yo!!
Good food cheap and fast got the #1 and can t complain everyone was friendly
Absolutely love the customer service and the drinks are amazing and at a great price and the husband loves the wonton soup
Fast, hot, great portion sizes, and most importantly delicious.
Nice order with the food , fast and delicious:)
Terrific almond chicken, everything was perfect. The right level of crispy . The Mongolian beef was fabulous. And I They have me a drink on the house . The level of quality is always repeated Thank you .
Fun stop in dt Squamish for a quick snack and bubble tea. The brien sugar milk tea with Pearls hit the spot. They have a very cute community comment wall of notes and doodles. Service
I love their drinks! I drink them almost everyday! By this time, I ll end up broke and getting a diabetes
Amazing bubble tea and super interactive and nice owners!!!
We had mouldy tasting ginger beef, undercooked chicken chow mein, tiny spring rolls, beef chop suey, powdered flavourless almond chicken, flavourless sweet and sour pork. I was really looking forward to this restaurant that showed *4.1 from 131 reviews. Not even close. Couldn t even bring leftovers home because there was a lot.
Amazing meal that reminded me of my favorite Chinese restaurant in Montreal. Great flavors and value
Love boba tea
Great value bubble tea
Fantastic place to get bubble tea, great portion, flavor and price The place is really nice and the staff welcomes you with a smile Food
Had a Super Oreo slushy with Lychee jelly , Good quantity and filling. Its nice that we could ask to adjust the sweetness level to our taste.Comming back for the other flavors.
i come here all the time and get a mango green tea with pearls. this time when i went it tasted toxic almost like dish soap. i went in to tell them and they were very rude and said it was just me but my friends also tried it and agreed it tasted very toxic. they also said that they never use soap (gross) i feel sick now and i only had a couple sips before pouring it out. total waste of $7.
Squamish is a small town so we dont have lots of stores, so I was so happy when they started selling bubble tea here. I havent tried the food yet but Ive heard from friends that its really good so Im excited to try it soon. The bubble tea is really great, and I would recommend this place for sure. Really great costumer service as well!
Delicious! Fresh and thoughtfully prepared dishes. Highly recommend.
Good food (my husband was raving about it), but smallish portions for the lunch special. The sesame chicken was a very small portion! We will be back though. :)
Love the bubble tea!! The food is pretty good too. Very friendly staff
Food wasnt that bad, and there is a wall which you can put stickynotes
I only get takeout always good , love the consistency. Thanks
Todays broccoli was not washed and there were several grains of sand in it. It seemed todays broccoli had not been rinsed properly, grains of sand were detected in the Mongolian beef meal.
Great place to get bubble tea
Good portions, great food. Loved the deep fried wontons! Would recommend for a quick delicious Chinese food!
Its good stuff!
Left my phone inside one time, the cashier ran out into the street to tell me and give it back to me lol. Excellent service!
Food is amazing and so is their bubble tea, got enough for 2 and there were still leftovers
Loved the Szechuan chicken. Only reason I went there. And Im very happy with it.
The lemon chicken is not bad, but we also had sweet and sour chicken, and sweet and sour pork, very disappointing, the pineapple was cold, the chicken chewie not in a good way, and the pork too hard.
Great selection, good food, very clean
Like the bubble tea, highly recommend
Ordered the beef fried rice. Good portion and flavour, but there was very little meat. They dice it very small as well, would be better if they gave larger pieces.
Ordered delivery, came fast hot and fresh, the food was very well made. Chicken was a little soggy and the rice is a tad dry but I cant complain as I ate the entire thing.
Extremely small portions, horrible Chow Mein, $60.00 & barely enough for 1person...
Nice person above average food.
Great Customer Service! Wonderful locally owned business.
Great service and delivery
I wish we could order on your website and pay when we pick up. You dont seem to have this option and youve lost orders from us more than once. UPDATE: Yes, I tried to call about 10 times today. Couldnt get through. The phone would ring. Answer then go dead after about 20 seconds. Guys, its a real barrier. Im flagging it for you.
Love the new look. The spicy wonton is yummy.
New management but the food is still sorely lacking. Ordered 2 fried dishes that came soft and mushy with little flavour.
fun vibes, love the message wall, great bubble tea and tasty dinner! :)
I like the food very much. Will come back again
Dragon Terrace is our go to restaurant for Chinese food in Squamish. Everything we have ordered is delicious, filling, and so satisfying. Also a recent huge perk is they now have bubble tea, and it is simply amazing. Highly recommend!
Cute little fresh authentic chinese food. Best bubble tea in town. The items taste exactly the way they are described. Highly recommend this place.
The bubble tea was GREAT! the pearls were soft and fresh, and I was able to order my milk tea half sweet. The food was also delicious, I ordered a small wonton soup which came with a decent amount of wontons, and the prawns with veggies was fresh. The prawns had their tails taken off so I could just enjoy eating
Uncooked beef, rotten produce and cold food. Will definitely make you sick .
Small portions, not as good as before
They were super with accommodating my Gluten Free requests. Food was delicious!!!
Under new ownership its basically a brand new restaurant delicious food friendly stuff
The brown sugar milktea is the best!!
Best chinese food in a long time. So so good. You gotta try it.
Ordered from here and the portions were not very big, it was disappointing to say the least. It was the same price and more than half the amount of food.
Great gluten free options! They can make most chow meins and fried rice gluten free. Super delicious!
The owner is awesome and his the cook too fast service and food is the best..
Best Chinese food in town..
Good family run restaurant.
I hadnt been to The Dragon Terrace for about ten years and I understand the ownership has changed over that time. My dinner this evening was a pleasant surprise, I enjoyed it very much! in my opinion, The Dragon Terrace is better than it was. I wont hesitate to return the next time I want some good Chinese food.
Havent been there in forever. Service went downhill. Recipes changed with new owners. Hot and sour soup isnt the same
Really good Chinese food will return for sure
Ordered spring rolls, chicken curry, chicken chow mein and beef and broccoli, was wonderful, really delicious, great service for very reasonable price.
Great food, made fast. Highly recommend
Ok, quite mild food compared to typical Metrovancouver Chinese food. I can understand the customer base it is serving in Squamish. But I did appreciate eating Chinese food in Squamish.
Gotta say I didnt have high expectations when I picked up my food but hoped for okay. Spring rolls were mush, Hot & Sour soup tasted like beef broth with a hint of dishwasher soup. The chicken chow mien was exactly that, Mr. Noodle chow mien with a few pieces of chicken. No other garnishings and very blah. Sweet n Sour Pork was done with some other sauce but not your typical sweet and sour dish. Sorry guys but very disappointing. Hopefully these comments will inspire improvements.
Friendly staff, good munchies!
Fast, friendly and good quality food. Nice surprise!
I like the food here. But i could do without the rude girl who takes the orders for delivery. Almost makes me not want to order from there! But i live here so ill see how long i cant take it for i guess!
Christmas Eve night, good tastes and full size!
Great service an the best wontong soup in town the best!!!!
I had wonderful food and exceptional service. Very generous portions. Will definitely eat there again.
Chicken fried rice was awesome, the wor wonton soup was delicious also
Good price and tasty food. My husband and I will be eating here again. I want to try everything on the menu. The spicy mushroom beef chow mein was really good and the wonton soup was delicious. Good job guys
Not worth your time or money. Got delivery. Prawn chow mein, spring rolls and sweet and sour chicken. Absolute bland fest. Only thing with flavour was the sweet and sour, which were all soggy and had an unpleasant tang. Best way to waste <$50 and not eat.
Really delicious food and good service. Everything was really fresh and tastes great!
if you are chinese background people, dont go!
Asked the woman on the phone twice if delivery was free and she said yes. Turned out to be $6. The value wasn t worth it. Not the worst Chinese food I ve had, but definitely the worst egg rolls I ve ever had. They tasted like a barn smells... won t be ordering there again.
Best Chinese food in town. We had the dinner for two and wonton soup. The wonton was one of the best I have had. The servings were big and more than enough for both of us. The veggies were super fresh. Sweet and sour pork was super tasty. Will be back for sure.
Nastiest food ever. Lemon chicken, sweet n sour chicken and honey garlic pork all tasted like grainy flour and bland. The sauce for lemon chicken also tasted like 7up. Mall food is 10times better
Favorite Chinese restaurant in town. Great service, always new things on the menu and fantastic prices.
best chinese food in town , wonton soup and sweet and sour pork ,
Well... if you really need to eat Chinese food, this place is ok.. but don t compare with Chinese restaurants in Vancouver area.
The best place to gp and buy food, super nice family restaurant.
Good food, quick and cute, homey atmosphere.
Only choice. Alright not great
Great food. Fresh veggies. Went with my parents and they loved chow mein and the wonton soup was really good as well.
We had a dinner for 3. Great portion and good price. Fried rice was with lots of eggs. Sweet and sour pork was not too messed up red coloring as others. Overall was satisfied with the food and service.
The food is excellent and also the prices. I love eating chines food in that restaurant!!
Nice good
Great food
It was hate at first bite!!...Worst Chinese food we tried to eat...after one bite we could not consume anymore...do not go there...never again for us
Is in my top 3 restaurants in Squamish!!! Every time we have gone there we have been more than pleased. The Dragon Fire Wontons are absolutely amazing. The food is packed with favour. If I was going out tonight for dinner I would be going to the Dragon Terrace. By far the best Chinese food in Squamish!
I love this place! The restaurants owner is very friend and helpful with recommending us with great taste food. Especially liked the wonton soup and Malaysian style fried noodle! Definitely a must try place if anyone is stopping by Squamish.
New Owners since last February! The food is incredible! I love the garlic chicken and the spicy fried rice. Great place to go after climbing or coming back from the ski hill. It really hits the spot.
Used to be the best Chinese in Squamish, quality kind of fell off though. Authentic looking inside.
Excellent food, reasonable prices and very friendly, courteous staff. Definitely would eat there again.
Love the wanton and stir fried beef with broccoli. It tasted like home (I am from Malaysia by the way) and I finished everything on my plate which was a little unusual for me (I was thinking about takeaway)! Very reasonably priced considering the value it offers as compared to Vancouver! The owner of the shop was very friendly too and they have just taken over the place from previous owner few months ago. I will surely eat at this place whenever I am in Squamish!
Quite impressed. My first time here and usually I never finish the broth of won ton soup. Today I did, it had so much flavor. Sad to see so few people here. Definitely worth my stop.
Always had the best experience here.
Best Chinese food in Squamish
I never coming back. Not tasty at all
New owners are trying their best!!
Over priced especially considering the quality of food, cost us 55.00 before tip for five items. Ginger beef was grainy like flour, egg rolls lacked flavour and filling, dry garlic pork was wet and tasted wrong, the chowmein was flavourless, the rice was not bad but honestly we make much better rice at home and expect better at that price from professionals. the whole experience left us feeling ripped off I usually love leftovers but just threw it out rather than remind myself of the dissapointments the containers they use are excellent but may have caused the wetness of the garlic pork maybe I ordered the wrong dishes. I have a feeling the good reviews are written by friends or family I write many reviews this was the worst one ever I feel quite bad for saying so but feel I must be honest. I should have read the reviews I got in trouble from wife. Her favourite dishes all wrong.:(
The egg rolls and chicken Tasted like Burnt microwave popcorn. A very strong chemical flavor. No silverware or napkins, didnt eat it anyway.
Best wonton soup ive ever had, lovely service and very accommodating
