Local coffee shop serving up crafted espresso drinks, delicious paninis, and house made baked goods
I found this Caffè while browsing the store in the Squamish Adventure centre. Nice coffee, snack and food options. This cafe is handicap friendly and easily accessible. Spacious seating with art all around the table areas. There is outside seating as well. Clean facilities.
If you want to support local I highly recommend dropping by this place. Their prices are cheaper than other commercial coffee shops. The views are incredible and the service is great! Coffee tastes delicious and their pastries are always fresh, it smells so good when you walk in. It is an underrated place as I hardly see it get busy even during peak hours.
The best coffe, which I ever had. There is a very kind customer servise and so nice view from there. The food was delicious, especially muffins. Very nice place. The blond lady made me a really good coffee with a beautiful latte art, which I like. Thank you for this service.
Amazing location, pretty helpful and friendly staff. The coffee and muffins were absolutely amazing.. It has got ample parking space outside the plaza. It has also got a souvenir shop within. Very close to the sea to sky gandola ride and falls on the way to Whistler.
What a cute little caffe nestled in the adventure/visitor center. Yea I’m a tourist and I love stops like this where you can get information and a hot latte to boot. The peach/mango hand pie was so good. It’s a gourmet version of the McDonald’s hot apple pie. Barrista was very sweet and polite.
Loved the large windows and natural lighting. The views of the Chief are spectacular. It was not too busy for a Saturday morning but picks up around noon. Had the silence of the hams, a prosciutto panini, nice crisp edge with a plus middle, nice amount of saltiness. Tried the ube hand pie, perfect amount of sweetness and the dough was like a flaky pie crust, so good. The coffees were solid as well.
We stopped here for break and were amazed with the taste of coffee. The taste was unique and different from anywhere else. We had hot chocolate and cappuccino from here. The vegan bread was tasty as well. Above all, the customer service was amazing!
It's a great place to meet with folks before starting a great adventure day in Squamish. The huge windows and views of the Apron make it an amazing place to get a bit of work done when you're stuck indoors needing to work, haha. Good cappuccino & mocha, wide open space, good-sized tables, and nice staff.
Worst service I have ever
Awesome place. They let me use my stainless Yeti for a brewed coffee. Super grateful to be able to save on any waste from our coffee this morning! Cheers
Tried the maple latte and was quite decent. Quick stop on the way to whistler.

Nice view, good coffee and good food!
We got here and the barista doesnt know English, she had a bad attitude then made my coffee wrong, after I asked them to fix it, they again made it wrong. Not a place for actual coffee people
Lavender iced soy latte and silence of the ham (prosciutto and roasted red peppers) sandwich
Stopped in for a quick treat. Got the smallest scoop of gelato for $4 I have ever seen. Not worth the stop.
What s this
Nice place
Visiting Canada from New Zealand and needed a proper coffee. Cafe Garibaldi did not disappoint! We had a panini each (toastie in NZ) which were delicious and I tried a Carrot and Cranberry Muffin which was yummy. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a good ramp for wheelchair use and an accessible restroom.
Best place on earth
Good place for light meals!
Nice view and a good stop for a coffee
Very good coffee and very well prepared.
Convenient spot with cool view but the food is overpriced for what it was Friendly service. Food
A lovely cafe within the visitors centre. It has great views of the surrounding area. Id strongly recommend the cheese panini - it had perfectly toasted bread!
Parking: If parking is full in their lot, just across the street is a large dirt/gravel lot that has appeal parking for any size vehicles. Food
Butter Croissants were very tasty .
Im not the type of person to leave bad reviews, especially not for a small business, so this ones tough. When I found out this was a family-owned place I started coming here all the time with my husband to support it. We go for coffee multiple times per week and love supporting locally owned businesses. We did always notice that the service from the young blonde girl was quite unfriendly, but we never minded as were not sensitive and know that some people are just less friendly by nature. But today at around 2:20 p.m., after I ordered a latte, I noticed she grabbed a to-go cup, and so I very kindly said, May I have that for here, please? as I wanted to sit in. The girl froze, rolled her eyes, then slammed the to-go cup back down on the sleeve of cups. My husband and I stood shocked for a few seconds (as weve never had someone be so rude for absolutely no reason). We were regulars here, always friendly to the staff and always tipping. We are always very nice people, even making friends with the other local businesses we frequent. I was so shocked that someone could be so mean for no reason (Ive always had my lattes in the porcelain mugs as not to be wasteful, so didnt think itd be a big deal). While Im kind, Im also not a pushover, so I asked, Did you just give me attitude because I want my latte for here? She seemed annoyed that I called her out and tried back peddling, the other blonde lady jumping in and making up weird excuses like, We are closing soon so we didnt want to make more dishes, and then something about how it was a busy day. As if that gives you a reason to be horribly rude to someone for zero reason? I replied, So then all you had to do was say, Do you mind if I give it to you in a to-go cup today? and I wouldve happily said, Sure! I wouldnt have minded one bit! I told them I dont understand why theyre being so rude when we come in all the time and are always so nice and tip them and support the business. They kind of stood there smirking and giving weird excuses, and finally the girl says with an attitude that shes sorry. The customers behind us saw what happened and gave the girl a look and left too. I dont blame them. The thing is, how do you know one of us wasnt having a rough day or going through something tough? You dont treat kind people like that ever. If I were rude in any way, then sure. But I did not even do the slightest thing wrong here all I did was very nicely ask if I could please have my drink in a porcelain mug. Thats it. Im still scratching my head and confused, but mostly just grossed out. Im so happy that Im nothing like that girl and could never treat people badly for no reason. People like that are quite frankly hideous to me. Needles to say, were done supporting this place for as long as that girl works there, and will support our friends at the other Squamish coffee shops instead for now. P.S. The comment about how they were closing soon still baffles me, as we were there over an hour before closing time. A made-up excuse to cover for the girls bad attitude?
Vanilla latte is good here!!!
Great snack place
They have a really neat gift store inside the adventure center. Lots of great stuff.
Great coffee , great smiles!
Maple Latte at Caffè Garibaldi was so, so, so great! Anybody who doesnt love bit drinks will be satisfied with this. Just try it and youll know what I talked about
Nice ppl, small caffe just to get your trip going don t expect a full menu of a coffee shop tho
Superb coffee and great paninis and sweet snacks!
Great price and strong coffee! Iced americano was delicious.
Nice place to stop-over. We grabbed some coffee and gelatos. They have small store as well to buy some novelty items.
Amazing spot to write your thesis haha, good food and drinks, chill background music, and the view looks exactly like the incredible photos
Muffins and coffee take-out for a wedding party pre-ceremony prep. The manager/owner is a lovely woman. Super helpful and accommodating.
Best place to stop for a coffee
Great coffee, croissants and best views in Squamish
Let me start my saying the staff were pleasant and kind. They had a debit machine crash when it was my turn to order. The only way I could order was with cash so I had to leave, go to an ATM, pay $3 to take out money, then come all the way back... only to find that their debit machine was now working again. Then I got served lukewarm Americano... We waited for an hour from 730 am for this place to open because it was supposedly the best in town. Honestly not a great experience, I wish I just got Tims.
Only sweetened non dairy milk. You can always add sweetener to regular milks. Ruined the drink!
AMAZING Hot Cocoa!
Staff very friendly , excellent service
Great coffee and great local vibe
They have the best muffins I have ever tried! Raspberry chocolate muffin is just so fresh, decadent and it just melts in your mouth! I love that they have lots of vegan options. The only thing better than this food is customer service at this place, staff here is incredibly nice, will definitely go back again and again!
We found this cafe just down the road from our hostel in Squamish. A great place to stop for coffee and a quick bite. The staff are quite friendly and the service is great. Highly recommend.
Delicious coffee, friendly and welcoming service!
Awesome pit stop for cafe food! I had the best vegan brownie.
Great coffee, great atmosphere, great service. Its my go to location for work meetings. I had another lovely experience here this afternoon. The baristas do an amazing job. Thank you!
Prices were very fair. Delicious drinks and their soup of the day was delicious.
I found myself in a curious interaction with one of the baristas during a recent visit to the café. The owner went to some trouble to contact me and hear about what happened. She was gracious and interested in feedback. That counts for a lot to me and Im most appreciative. The location and the view are fantastic at this café, that much we can all agree on.
This morning, I ordered a apple cinnamon muffin and an Americano for a takeout. After paying and adding a 15% tip, I politely asked the barista if she could kindly butter the warm muffin. My hands were full and no one else was waiting to be served. To my surprise she answered There are plastic knives there. You can butter it yourself. This was a needless inconvenience for me when the barista could have quickly and efficiently taken the muffin and made a cut in it and inserted one of the pre-packaged butters they have. This is a trivial matter except for the fact that I already tipped her! Tip: To Insure Proper service. Im sure Im not the only one that would have considered it a pleasant nicety to have my warm muffin buttered. Alas, I managed it myself. It was a great coffee and a tasty muffin. Bravo on leaving a good taste in my mouth ... but a wanting in my heart. Starbucks would have buttered my muffin (and served it on a plate) on request. I expect more here than at Starbucks and alas I can only give 2 stars. Tasted good. Not serviced as expected.
Very good
Best muffins baked daily. Relaxing atmosphere.
They make the lattes really hot. So I started asking for not as hot lattes, otherwise it s a good place with good cookies!
Super friendly staff, great coffee and treats. Love visiting. Recommend you stop off any time.
Wonderful specialty coffees, fresh baked goods and paninis. A nice spacious coffee shop at the Adventure Centre great place to meet up with a friend or business acquaintance.
Great for a pit stop on the Vancouver - Whistler route
Perfect trip stop! Coffee was great!!
Super nice staff that made our day. One of the best coffee we had in Canada so far. Delicious Gluten free muffins and banana bread. Thanks
Okay pre -made turkey wrap and okay service with a FANTASTIC VIEW!
Best coffee in Squam
Good iced latte. Plenty of seating but 1-hour time limit. Huge windows have good atmosphere. No wifi unfortunately.
Best coffee and muffins!!
Very cozy atmosphere. Fresh sandwiches and fresh, tasty coffee. Just awesome.
Awesome rest spot
Friendly place. Ideal for breakfast. Friendly waitresses.
It s not a one designated cafe building, it was multiple amenities within. So you ll hear noise here and there but overall a good experience.
Walked in to smells of freshly baked products coming out of the oven, lovely! Great products and coffee, good loos etc
Great coffee and a super friendly staff.
The best coffee in Squamish and all the girls that work there are welcoming. I also love the big windows and the view
I love their coffee!!! They also have a lot of vegan options.
The latte tasted awesome. Highly recommended!
Super delicious and right by the Squamish Adventure Inn and Rope Runner. They killed their Hochata during the Squamish Hot Chocolate Festival! I would recommend the Squamish Fog and the Silence of The Hams panini (even if you just get it because of the name).
Attentive staff, delicious coffee. Need I say more? Thank you!
Conveniently located in the Squamish Adventure Center, this little cafe offers typical food accoutrements like croissants, muffins, cookies along with paninis. The turkey paninis that my wife and I had were a little disappointing due to a lack of filling, making for a rather bland snack choice. The usual coffee menu with a variety of milk options. Service is good, food is fresh and you cant beat the view.
Such a beautiful location, a convenient stop (though when had a trailer before, we were not sure if we could park anywhere, we saw some trailers parked randomly in the gravel parking lot, seemed chaotic). We enjoyed our lunch with the view. Latte was great! We had a panini, a cup of vegetable soup, a Nanaimo bar and a muffin - everything was good, especially a chocolate raspberry muffin! Panini could use a bit more filling in my opinion. Coffee (beans from Moja Coffee) and the view is unbeatable!
Need something for your office, they have it.
A must-visit if youre passing through! Really fun little stop with a very Canadian vibe (complete with stuffed bears!) - the coffee was pretty good too. And you cant beat the view! Taste: /5 Value for money: /5 Customer service: /5 Atmosphere: /5 Will visit again:
Superb!
Ordered a lovely cappuccino and croissant. Staff were very friendly. Free WiFi available within the Adventure Centre.
Great little stop on the way to Whistler. Muffins were delicious and a good size.
I come here several times a week and am always pleased! The garibaldi iced tea is one of my favourite menu items. The paninis are always fantastic!
Best espresso in Squamish.
Best pain au chocolat! The real thing!
Fun times.
Wonderful service, lovely atmosphere and view looking out at the Chief, delicious latte and ham and egg panini. The perfect fuel I needed for my hike that day! Plus, the most carrot amazing muffin I ve had! It was a wonderful treat at mid-way on a hike. Would definitely recommend.
Totally relaxing to enjoy a cup of coffee here.
Their newest drink, the pumpkin spice latte plus the vegan banana bread (yes it has chocolate chips!), is to die for. Lovely ambiance and is it just me or is their coffee a cut above all the rest? Their baked goods are baked on site every morning before the rooster crows.
Amazing location, food and drinks and staff ! The muffins and yam pastry are amazing a must visit in Squamish
Great venue, with lovely staff!
One of my favourite coffee spots. Delicious americanos and excellent muffins. Love the staff here, they are lovely!
Nice view, great coffee amazing lemon loaf
The quinoa date square is fantastic. Great pre-ride stop when riding in Squamish.
Best treats!!! Great coffee!
First class as usual. Girls are super friendly.
Saddest panini ever.
Lovely location in the visitor center. The building is quite lovely. Great selection of treats. The Squamish Fog was good. Definitely a great alternative to the chain coffee shops along the way. Well be back!
Very bad acidic coffee
Best coffee place ever love it
I was waiting for a friend and the sun was very hot, then again, it was sunny and I sat by the window. If you like the heat this is a good place for you. Smells nice too.
A cup of coffee, a pastry, and looking at the scenery outside the window are indeed a kind of enjoyment.
The pastries are great and the coffee excellent. Great location with a cool view as well.
Clean, convenient,modest menu.
Great coffee and deserts
A coffee shop with a view of the highway and The Chief, a Squamish landmark. It has nice coffee and sandwiches, however, the hours of operation are unfortunate since, like most of Squamish shops, it closes early. Hoping to get a second cup of coffee at 4pm I was told by a staff member that they were closed. So I packed up my laptop and left.
Excellent coffee always!
Very interesting experience. Beautiful view. Excellent customer service.
Thank you Yvonne for the wonderful kind service you provided to my client and I. The tea was amazing and my client loved the cheesecake raspberry gelato. I have taken more clients there for your wonderful Sunday morning muffins. They raved about them. The coffee and service great.
Goog sandwich and coffee
It s a really great place with gorgeous views of the mountains to enjoy a cup of coffee. Loved their Maple Latte and the Namasthé turmeric tea. It s a must stop on the sea to sky highway.
Nice people. Good coffee
Nice feeling of the place and good coffee.
Great view of the Chief from inside the Squamish Chamber of Commerce/Tourist Information Centre. They use Moja Coffee so it is nice and flavourful. Varied assortment of pastries and loaves/bars. A full pannini menu offered at lunch. A nice place to relax on your roadtrip and take in the views. Price point is on the high end, but the location is worth it. Parking and washroom facilities available.
Good Gelato and they serve an assortment of local drinks. Nice place to start your day of adventure in Squamish BC. Cheers
Good coffee shop inside the Adventure Center. Espresso served is Moja Coffee. Good selection of drinks and snacks, with a nice interior seating area. Only open when the Adventure Center is open. Solid place to stop for coffee just off the highway!
Most beautiful place to have a coffee. Good vibes great coffee
Friendly staff, great coffee, great view of the chief. Also had a ham sandwich which was delicious. We spent some time here regrouping and finding our hext place to stay. The Caffe was recommended by a friend and local guide Kiril.
Good coffee and great panini
Nice place to stop by
I love coming to this cafe. I go there with my friends all the time. The staff is friendly and I love the variety in tea they have and I loooove the oat milk option, is so yummy! The paninis are great too as well as the baked goods.
Squamish has a few good café stops, but overall its easy to say its the best coffee in town is at the Garibaldi café. It has a great atmosphere and great service. Thanks everyone who works there for making it a great way to start my day.
Great coffee, beautiful exterior seating with a view and water feature.
Great coffee!! Love the decaf, moja has to be the best Ive ever tasted. You cant get any better than their gelto and vegan goods either. The view is AMAZING, very happy :)
Awesome rest stop and awesome Gelato
Great place to sip on coffee with a view!
Very good and cozy
Fast service and easy going atmosphere.
Wonderful and most welcome pit stop along this route :) Lovely centre, nice and clean with huge windows to stare out at the surrounding mountains. They also use Moja beans for the coffee (one of my faves!) so the Americano was delicious. Also a surprising amount of toilets!
Best coffee in town
Great coffee even better gelato! This place came to us as a complete surprise, the good kind! Their coffee is silky smooth and full of texture; absolutely delicious gelato, I tried 4 flavours all were amazing but my favourite is cookie and cream! The location is really convenient, right next to the Sea to Sky highway, inside the Squamish Adventure Centre, with huge clean windows overlooking the Stawamus Chief, picture perfect! Staff was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that they close at 4 pm, way too early! Highly recommend!
Our favorite location after a quick ride.
One can stare out the glass windows all day. A chill hangout cafe.
Good selection, good views, more seating than most coffee places in town.
You need a phone that works that you can answer
I love this coffee shop. We stop here every time we visit Squamish. They make great espresso, nice sandwiches as well as have a fine selection of desserts. On top of that you get to enjoy Stawamus Chief views through 30 feet windows!
$7 sandwich with 1 slice of meat and 1 piece of pepper... very disappointing.
On our way to whistler, we dropped by here to pick up a drip coffee with a slice of banana loaf. Tastes are good! This location inside the adventure centre is pretty amazing! Good to stay for the rest in peace.
Loved this place. Superb views to go with delicious latte and pastries. :D
