To the guests of our restaurant, we do not offer takeout from July 1st - September 5th. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Came for a late dinner (10pm) after just about every other place in town had closed their kitchen. The decor was iconic and created a very genuine vibe, service was prompt and friendly, and the food was delicious. The pulled pork sandwich was juicy and tender, and the dessert menu - ice cream s'mores and cinnamon flavored french toast sticks - was both creatively imagined and successfully executed. Great place to grab food on the way home from Whistler, I will be back.
I had a noodle dish with brisket and it was amazing! The brisket was so juicy and tender, perfect texture with nice fat. It comes with plenty of veggies so I don't feel guilty eating the huge meat. I hoped the service was quicker. needed to wait a quite time to have a server to start.
An absolute must visit for anyone passing through town in all seasons. It also doubles up as fantastic local spot for a bite to eat and great drinks. The decor is second to none. So much character to this place, feels like a true mountain bar. The service is always fantastic, the food is delicious and everything is done at a quick pace. You can smell the smoker from a block away, which triggers uncontrollable salivation 🤤. Everything I’ve eaten is delicious. This time out we had the Poutine and spring rolls, but the burgers are always fantastic and the ribs. WILSON!
We tried the Half Rack of Ribs and Smoked Brisket, and both were absolutely delicious. The Cajun Cauliflower was flavorful, and the Smoked Chicken Wings were perfectly crunchy—definitely a favorite! Our server, Katie, was amazing—very attentive, friendly, and gave us fantastic recommendations.
Came here for an early dinner and loved it. The decor is side is super cool and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the loggers poutine and it was amazing, loved the presentation and the portion size was huge. Plenty left over to take home. Our server was also very friendly and pleasant :)
We stopped here on our way to Whistler and we were pleased with the choice! It was busy on a Wednesday night, but the music and patio were fun! We tried the Fried Pickles, Beef Dip Sandwich (delicious, perfect brisket), Mini Poutine (yummy but too much gravy for me), Cajun Falafel Salad (awesome!), Blackened Chicken Salad (good, not too special), and the Hot Blonde Chicken Sandwich (okay but the bun was dry and crunchy). The service was great and fast. Would definitely eat here again.
Great food and fun atmosphere. Every town should have a BBQ place like this one. Meat was tender and tasty and the cornbread is probably one of the best I've ever had. The waiter was always attentive too. The combo we had was well priced and huge. Enough for two of us, for a little over $32. Fast service as well. Highly recommend! Get extra cornbread cause you'll want it!!!
We love to stop here on our way to Whistler/Pemberton. The decor is fun indoors as well as on the dogfriendly patio! The service is great, and the smoked meat is very flavourful. Our favourite meal is the mac & cheese with smoked brisket - divine!
A must visit spot in Squamish. We really looked forward to this spot. Great vibes!! The food was quite pricey but great for a visit! Cheers to our host for being so wonderful!!
Fantastic food and great service! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options! Food : 5/5 |
Highly recommended !! The staff The ambiance The food everything s spot on . Keep up the good work.
Great food.
Good restaurant.
Food
Food was decent, but when it takes over an hour for a couple burgers with 3 cooks in a small pub, thats people who dont seem to care about cooking. Also, kind of strange that we have people carrying raw briskets from a door in the dining room to the kitchen. Wont be back.
Love Love The Food! Excellent service. Awesome atmosphere. Your missing out if you havent been there.
Great service, cool atmosphere and amazing food. It is a must see! Well done!
Nothing overly special. The food is rich but profoundly mediocre. My brisket was pitifully sad; definitely not worth the price. I got burned little bits with no marbling. The service was glacially slow, and the patio was so loud I couldnt hear my own thoughts. I understand a busy night, but to come specifically for smoked meat to only be disappointed by the prices and quality was such a shame.
Totally solid. Really great hamburger, fresh tasting. The service was friendly and attentive. Thank you!
I guess 3years ago they had a very delicious salmon burger with zucchini and I loved it. I hope they bring it back.
Very enjoyable evening, good selection of beers (not so sure about the grapefruit beer) and excellent food. Recommend the Jambalaya (of course) and the Mac n Cheese topped with pulled pork. The music was not too loud and the wall of money was interesting.
Good place in Squamish. The mac and cheese were delicious. The staff was super friendly and quick. The prices are fair. I deduct one point because the music was very loud, people had to talk loudly and you are exposed to a very loud background noise. However, I wouldnt rate it too strongly, I would come again.
The burger that should have blue cheese didn t, the burger that should have had cheddar cheese and bacon didn t. Serious misses at any price.
Wow!! Had the Copper burger brilliant!! Would visit again!
The restaurant is very cool, typical American, great music and cool
Went here for lunch and it was fantastic. Great food, fast service.
We by chance came here because there weren t many places open after our hockey game. We are absolutely ecstatic that we did. Unbelievable food, every single item we had. The wings! We had to order another order because they were so delicious. We had the jambalaya which didn t disappoint! My husband and I both ordered that. Our son had the crispy chicken burger and it by far was the best we ve had. Our server was Katie and she was so delightful. We loved the decor and authenticity. My only wish ? That we had this restaurant in North Vancouver where we live. Will you please open one? Partners? I ll be paid in food! Squamish, you are very lucky to have such a gem!
Like it best view in town
Incredibly delicious ribs with brisket. Service was outstanding and very friendly. Value for money 10/10. The decor is inviting with perfect music at a nice volume. Everything just fits here!! Thanks to Shane for the great service!!
Amazing place and great sandwiches.
Got the Cajun shrimp and the brisket beef dip. Both were incredible. Highly recommend
Great ambiance, patio, and service. We had the poutine, lettuce wraps, burger, and popcorn chicken. There serving sizes were adequate and served hot.
The interior decoration in the store is very atmospheric, the dishes are delicious and the portions are generous. The two main dishes ordered by two large and small ones were not finished yet, so they were packed away in the end.
Great place to stop for a quick bite to eat.
The Copper Coil is an absolute treasure in the center of one of the most magnificent backdrops ever. After a long morning doing the beautiful sea to sky drive through Squamish, we stopped here after reading some reviews and we were so glad we did. We had the NOLA Naanwich and the Yakamein and both were fantastic with flavors we still dream about. We would have never expected these flavors in the middle of the Canadian mountains, but it was absolutely perfect. The kids had great fare as well and everything was clearly gourmet. The atmosphere makes me want to move nearby just to become a regular. Its a perfect spot to stop and have a drink, some food or just hang. The waitstaff were all very attentive and friendly. Next time we are in Vancouver area, we will definitely make this part of our trip.
We love burgers!!!
Bugs
We thoroughly enjoyed our smoked meat platter, fried pickles, and cauliflower app. Beautiful view!
Very good BBQ joint in downtown Squamish with great views of the Chief. We shared the smoked wings, poutine, and a blackened chicken sandwich and enjoyed a few margaritas at the outdoor seating area. Salads, Po boys, and BBQ combos all looked good on menu. Very satisfying and fair price for the quality.
Loved the smoke brisket beef dip! Juliet was awesome :)
The absolute finest brisket dip I can think of in the Vancouver area.
So heres the thing; to me this is one of the most unique and fun places to eat on the Sea to Sky. Now, if youre in Whistler youd know, everything is exactly the same everywhere, all brought in by GFS or Sysco, unless youre going to high end places that still mostly just meet the expectations of their touristy clientele. Copper Coil? Although its offering the same kind of pub fodder, the preparation of the meats from brisket to burger are top notch. Better yet, its not just stuck in North American basic take out fodder, the inclusion of some creole dishes just makes my life. Im addicted to the corn bread. Yum.
Came here today after a grueling 6 hour hike at Garibaldi. What can I say, but it was mediocre. The food was ok, very basic. Me and my friend ordered the beef brisket and pulled pork platter and a bourbon burger. Both were ok. The server definitely did a good job in trying to upsell it and make it seem bigger then it actually was. You get pulled pork, beef brisket, 2 slices of cornbread, coleslaw, and a sauce cup of BBQ sauce. The meat was a bit dry, even with the BBQ sauce, and the burger seemed dry as well. No sauce really added to it to make it juicy and moist. I ordered a ginger ale. They told me they mostly sold Pepsi products, which is fine; but it also tasted a bit watered down. Just becareful if you order soda. Its not actually listed on the menu or the drink menu. It cost $3.75, and if you want a refill that costs $0.50. Quite expensive if you ask me. Anyways, very mediocre experience. The servers were attentive when we first entered, nearly every server we saw asked us if we had been helped. They sat is outside, and it was super windy. Had things flying everywhere, a bit chilly too. They didnt even set up the heat lamps I til near the end of our meal. Anyways, probably will not be back. Price seems expensive for what little you get back in return.
Great service, food and location
Im 60 and Ive eaten more that a few burgers in my day, but the blue cheese burger at copper coil? Damn, thats good eatin. And while the burger itself is terrific, its the time and attention paid to the bun that truly sets this burger apart and tells me that the person who built it actually gives a damn.... toasted and perfect. Plus the music is a ten and the service is terrific. If they can put a smile on my cranky face, imagine what theyll do for you. Thank me later...
Some of the worst service I have received in a long time. Not only did we find ourselves sitting without being noticed by the abundant wait staff but they seemed unwilling to make eye contact as they breezed by us multiple times. After 10 minutes of this we had to verbally and physically place ourselves directly in front of a waitress. She then informed us the table we were at is not her section. When asked whos section it is she walked away without explanation and started typing into the order tablet at the bar. I speculated she might be looking up who the correct server for our table was... The bar was not that busy, and there were at least 6 different staff that passed by us and 1 or 2 behind the bar, and nobody stopped to ask if we have been helped yet. I am normally a very patient person, I appreciate all who work in the service sector and I always tip over 25%. Disappointed and hungry I took my patronage to a different establishment down the street and was acknowledged as soon as I entered....
The owners are the kindest people who give from their heart. They treat employees like family... the employees then treat the customers the same. Happy smiling souls. Wonderful energy there.
Exquisite!!!
It was an enjoyable experience! And I cant say that about most places. Thanks
What a gem of a place. Brisket is outstanding!!
That naanwich is incredible!
Delicious veggi burger.
Fun, lively bar & grill. It was by far the most happening place in town when I visited. Good New Orleans-inspired dishes. Had the popcorn shrimp with remoulade, a seared tuna salad, and chocolate cake à la mode, which were all very tasty. Good, mostly local, tap list. Recommend!
Food was very good, plenty of heaters on the patio making it very comfortable even on a cool evening. Our waiter was super fun and friendly!
Jambalaya was mediocre, wings were dry and small. Beer was good. Wouldnt eat there again
Called in to Squamish for lunch and saw this place - excellent. Must have one of the best Menu Choices ever - could have chosen anything. We share two Appetisers Thats a Wrap and Cajun Popcorn Shrimp, with a local IPA. Everything was fantastic, great friendly place and so helpful & welcoming. Loved It. The Cajun Mac & Cheese looked brilliant, but another day.
More expensive than Vancouver. Around double. The music was too loud for me. The staff was friendly and chicken wings were available even at 10 pm. I liked Hot Blonde more than others. Food
Well located restaurant with a nice atmosphere and very good dishes.
Excellent! The service is very friendly and attentive! The place is spacious. You can go to eat or even just have a beer. The menu is varied inspired by New Orleans food, which is simply amazing! All the food tasted very good and the portion sizes were very good too. I will definitely return!
What a quirky restaurant. The decor is fun to look at- lots of personal trinkets from staff and patrons. The menu featured comfort food favorites. We had the popcorn shrimp and fried pickles to start then the veggie burger and cauli po boy as entrees.
Amazing place bbq done well with a sweet tangy taste. Portions were adequate. Staff was fun to be around. Got all extra sauces that we need on the house reman was fire also.
If you get the poutine add brisket and the potato skins are SO GOOD also, I love the Atmosphere. The servers are really nice. And the root beer is amazing. I am sad that I am just a tourist from out of the country and I cant come here again. But... Please go here if you have the time and you are in the area, its amazing.
This place has amazing food but the wait time is soooo damm long atleast 1hr to get it,but when the food did arrive it was so worth it. Brisket po bouy and small Poutine
We spent the day riding the sea-to-sky gondola and stopped in for a quick bite after. The French dip was the best we ve ever had! Seriously so tender and juicy. And the ramen was a hidden gem would definitely come back just for those two dishes alone.
Waited in their designated wait area for more than 5 mins with no one acknowledging even our existence. The waiters did notice us and even escorted the patron waiting before us in but chose not to acknowledge us.
Very slow service. After being seated, we waited a lobg time with no server. We flagged one down, and was told it wasnt her area but she would send someone. A while later we got up to go to the bar to ask for service. It carried on. Terrible service. Next time Ill enjoy a bottle of wine at home.
Stopped by the Copper Coil last week and had an amazing Beef Dip! the brisket was smoked to perfection. Chris gave us great service and had lots of knowledge about the area. Will be back again! Awesome spot.
Love this place! I always love getting the fabulous male server, Chris! and my favourite thing on the menu currently is the smores dessert
Gorgeous view of the Chief, food and atmosphere are incredible. Our server Savannah was super friendly and helpful! Highly recommend!
Best atmosphere in town. All the staff are always happy, friendly, and helpful. Food is great, one of the best patios around. Also have a dog friendly patio. The bartenders Savannah and Jules always give the best service! The owners are beautiful people. A must check out while in Squamish
I ve never had a bad meal here. The service is always great, some of the BEST food in Squamish, unreal patio, highly recommend.
For years now, and through many owners, The Copper Coil has been a favourite for their food, service and location. Now, under the current owner it s bigger, and it s great decks can be accessed for more of the year. Courtney, Jocelyn and the rest of the staff are exceptional. The ingredients are exceptional, and just walking by the place is an olfactory orgasm! Go!
Great place to regain strength on the way to Vancouver. Great service and very tasty dishes. Greetings from Spain
I came here last night for a drink and bite at the bar and had the best time chatting with the bartender Juliet! She made sure I had a pleasant experience and didn t feel alone whilst dining solo. Would definitely come back!
Served by Katie, Courtney and evlyn. All were happy and fabulous made us feel welcome. Husbands working up there and I visit on the weekend. Its our go to place!!!
Love everything about this place! Great spot to get drinks with a great patio. I loved our bartender Juliet, she really made our time there special :)
Best mushroom burger I have had in a long time. Loved the peach sangria and the view was AMAZING! We will be back...soon
Nice place, you can sit in the hall, on the veranda or on the street , cool. The food is good, you need to wait a little, the service is excellent. There is somewhere for the kids to play while they are waiting for food, there is also a childrens menu, but of course the choice is limited. If you are hungry, feel free to come in, you will be pleased.
Best place in town jumbolia was great, best corn bread I have ever had. Bbq chicken salad was excellent
Food is great but the service is something else! Honestly havent had service like this maybe ever. 11/10!!
Okay SO. I ve been to a lot of restaurants in my day. But I have NEVER had service this AMAZING before. We were waiting on our table, and 3 different people asked us if we were helped. My friend and I left for a couple minutes to go to the car. They came out to let us know the food was ready, and offered to bring it back to the kitchen to keep it warm. I ve never been treated like this before. 10/10 recommend for EVERYTHING. next time you re in Squamish, go here!
Fantastic Ambience. Great food. Creative options for cocktails. Enjoyed a late night meal with my partner. Katie was very helpful throughout the service and helped me customize the order according to my allergies. Dietary restrictions: Need to tell the waiter about your allergies. They re more than willing to accommodate.
Lovely service, great food. Staff went out of their way to show our kids (7 and 9) a great afternoon.
Went with my misses for dinner yesterday, and... Our server Josh, nailed it! The kitchen staff NAILED IT! AND it was my cheat day (non-recovery after gym day) so I opted for the Pulled Pork.... umm.... Naan bread... thing... I dont remember the exact name, but it wasnt just delicious, it was GLORIOUS! And Josh, out server, you were a gentleman and a scholar good sir! You were the face of your team, and you represented them very well! Thank you to everyone who was involved in giving us an A+++ dining experience! It may be a little while (not a local), but youll CERTAINLY see us again! And our pup will be getting to share left over fries with me at some point later on!
Had a great dinner here with my wife and niece. Food was excellent as was service. Highly recommend.
Very nice casual restaurant with great atmosphere and tasty food. Love the pulled pork poutine.
We arrived at around 9 pm and the place was packed. However, the service was pretty quick and our server was very friendly. We sat on the patio which was lovely. The food was absolutely delicious! Overall, this is an excellent restaurant.
Found the burger to be bland without much flavour to it, maybe it was just a one off. Service was great and it always seems to have a lively atmosphere.
We had the hummus/tzatziki appy, so delicious. The smoke beef brisket dip was sooo delicious. Great patio as well.
We were just passing through and we had the best burger and po boy probably ever!
Great place
Shockingly disgusting food at shockingly expensive prices! Came a while ago and it was quite nice but this last visit was the pits! Never again.
My family was visiting from up north and they LOVED the smoked brisket and pulled pork meat sampler. The other highlights include the Nola Naanwich and Beef Dip. A great relaxed atmosphere with the best vibes in downtown squamish! Shoutout to the service staff and managers who were also working their butts off / busing tables etc. 5 stars!
Jambalaya was freaking delicious. It made me lick my plate clean. Cant wait to try other dishes on their menu.
Such a great spot. Good beer, food and excellent service.
Fun place for lunch between Whistler and Vancouver if youre on a road trip. Stopped in a few times and it been good each time. Nice staff and a great menu.
Coming down from the Sea to Sky Gondola to eat here is a great way to relieve fatigue. Finding parking on weekends can be challenging, so you might need to circle around a bit. The food is excellent, with reasonable prices, generous portions, and great taste. In the summer, its very comfortable to sit on the deck. The burger patties are juicy, and the beef in the noodles is very tender. We will definitely come back next time.
Good food fun place.
Had a great time! Food was delicious but the wait for food was a little long (mabye because of lunch hour) staff was nice and I had one of the best burgers I ve ever eaten. Awesome place and will be coming back soon. Parking: Spot behind the grill where there is a parking lot for customers
Food was awesome! Service was excellent. Two outdoor patios. One covered, the other with gravel, picnic tables, umbrellas and games. This patio is dog friendly! Food : 5/5
My spicy crispy chicken burger was an religious experience. Sinful goodness.
It s a great-great location, feels just like jasper village with the views. Food was yumm -ordered blackened chicken club and hot blonde crispy chicken. Tried 5-6 cocktails in my 2 visits -all of them were soooo good..!!
One waiter Guy is rude, chicken wings not good, they have kinds of beers but theres no food for beer match
Found this place on the way back to Vancouver from Whistler, awesome vibes awesome food
Great food and drinks!
Food is average. Nothing special.
Is ok for pub food. However, they don t do take out on weekends never heard of that before. Funny thing is I ordered take out last weekend if you are busy, that s fair, but frequent customer would appreciate you being truthful
The food was fantastic! I enjoyed the Smoked Beef Brisket Dip with mini poutine. The poutine was huge and could have been its own yummy meal. The brisket was honestly the best I have ever had....kudos to the kitchen! Hubby had the Cajun Chicken Sandwich and also really enjoyed it. Laura was an excellent server and was very warm and friendly. Love this place!
Kid-friendliness: Burgers were fantastic, fries were eaten quickly and there were a couple other kids options. Food
I love the Caesar
The Copper Coil has done a fabulous job keeping their food quality high, servers attentive and happy, and generally creating a place where you feel like you get good value for what you pay.
Cute traditional bar, we sat at the bar and people watched. It s a very busy and this was a 10pm. Staff were very busy and serving food until nearly 11pm. We didn t have food but it looked good. Would recommend to a friend.
It tastes great, the outdoor seats are comfortable, and it doesn t feel cold at all thanks to the fire grill. recommend
The food is just amazing.
Great food and service. Everything clearly home made, and very flavourful.
Cheeky bar with cool decor. Good service and good food options for gluten allergy.
Nice place to sit on a chilly Squamish day. Food though was just mediocre (based on what we had). Brisket was dry and lacked flavor. Falafel salad - the patty arrived lukewarm. Service was pleasant but slow with a significant delay in delivering our dishes - several reminders were needed.
Third time back and still enjoying it! We always leave full. The patio is great when the weather is fair, and the inside of the restaurant is pretty funky. I enjoyed looking at the international currency on the wall. No hook in the women bathroom stall though. :-(
Food was great and beer was better! UPDATE: The food is always amazing here. Theyve got unique tales on old classics. The service is always great! Food : 5/5
Dog friendly patio was perfectly laid out with shade and space for the pooches, both in summer and dry winter days. The drink options were great, love the 3.5% hazy on tap, perfect when driving back to van after & the white sangria was . The food was all amazing, such generous meat portions and my stand out was the beef dip sandwich omg Amazing decor, service and atmosphere on top will make this our no.1 stop off spot in Squamish from now on especially as a dog owner that finds restrictions in most places round here other than locavore Parking: Big free parking lot right next door just not Friday 11pm until Sat 4pm when there is a market on
Such a great place to stop and relax after a day of exploring. Awesome team, great service, and loved the brisket Po Boy.
Nice place to lunch try the burgers there is a lot of option i think the servers and really gentle
The Chicken Jambalaya is a must try!
Service very nice. As for the food, I expected more. Imagined fresh shrimp grilled or fried. These were simply deep fried frozen foods. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a footbridge, i.e. entrance for dogs and you can also use it in a wheelchair.
Some of the best brisket and cornbread I have ever had. Absolutely fantastic.
Fun casual noisy place with smoked meats!oh that beef brisket!
On a recent daytrip out of Vancouver, Canada, we drove the Sea to Sky Highway, out of North Van to Squamish. We made several stops on the way there and back just to marvel at the scenery and views. Once in Squamish we walked up and down the main drag and were lured in by the wonderful smell of smoked meat coming from the Copper Coil Still and Grill. The exterior is striking with the huge rock face of the mountain in the distance. The menu is quite good, as seen in many of the other reviews, and the decor is very rustic with license plates and money from all over fastened to the walls. The staff are very friendly and helpful with food decisions and information about local shops and activities. Now the food fantastic! My son had the Pulled Pork Sandwich with Cajun Spiced Fries and I had the Beef Brisket Dip with a house salad that had goats cheese and a really tasty dressing. Both of the smoked meats were very tender and the buns very fresh. Even the dill pickles on the side were very good. So if you are looking for great food in a very ecclectic place with fast friendly service, this should be your got-to in Squamish
It was the perfect afternoon hotspot, the food was amazing cant wait to go back and have the bbq platters, beer taps great selection, service timely and lovely. And the atmosphere itself was warm and cozy. I loved all the decor on the walls so I cant wait to go back again.
You guys rock! The best place in Squamish! Perfect ambiance, service, price and especially kitchen. This is delicious! How comes youre still not Michelin?? THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!
Very fun and laid back atmosphere. Beef brisket dip is so so so good!
The food with special decorations is good, especially the mushroom burger is worth recommending. There is also a supernatural phenomenon. The water glass just rang and fell to the ground without anyone touching it
Laura was lovely. I appreciated how much they love dogs and the dog friendly patio. They were super friendly. We had the black and blue burger and it was delicious. Not a super big burger, but tasty. The fries were tossed in seasoning which was delicious. We will be back.
Weno weno weno
Great atmosphere, amazing food and really good service! Will definitely be back next time we are in town.
Best beef dip ever
Delicious food, nice service and a very cool location. The perfect place to stop after a long day of hiking! Parking: Park for free right in front of the door
Good BBQ and a great meal after a hike around the area and you re starving. Recommend to have po boys as others have said. Colourful decor inside and plenty of seating for a small place. Outdoor patio available as well. Parking: Lots of parking around the restaurant and street. Bear in mind though for busy travel season where you may have to park a block away
The beef burger is quite good. But the fried chicken burger is soso. A bit disappointed to wait for 50mins to get the food which is not acceptable. We keep asking the waiter to check but she keeps mentioned it is so busy today. But it is aware the people enter later than us. The food is faster than us. This is very unhappy with this. Please come to enjoy the restaurant if you have time to wait.
Decided on a whim to try this place as we love smoked food and we re not disappointed. The Naan pulled pork sandwich actually should have the slaw but I donated it as I am not a slaw person. We sat outside on picnic tables in the dog friendly area. Everything was clean, the service was great, and the beer was cold!
Shout out to Laura for being a lovely server. She s friendly. She even remembered my friend (and her order) who went there a week ago. I ordered the Smoked Beef Brisket Dip. It was amazing! The meat is tender. It is not over-seasoned. The dip is amazing! Well, i hoped they put more coleslaw in the sandwich. Or maybe just put it on the side. Cajun fries is a bomb. A generous view of the chief. I just wished tho that the cars park front-facing the tables instead of buttwards. The smoke could get into the food. Nevertheless, it s fun Kid-friendliness: They have games. They also have kids menu. The patio is also pet-friendly.
Great place with a great atmosphere. Enjoy you won t be disappointed.
This place is our favourite! Great food (everything is delicious), great service & atmosphere. Awesome view of The Chief from the patio
This restaurant is fairly small and can get crowded due to its popularity. The food is fresh-to-order and very good, albeit on the salty side. The fried pickles are fresh out of the fryer and have a satisfying crunch to them without being overly greasy. The creamy sauce goes well with the refreshingly sour pickles. The Jambalaya is well-seasoned, loaded with sausages and shrimp, and comes in a nice warm skillet. It is an enjoyable experience. However, it is quite salty, so be sure to have lots of water handy afterwards. The restaurant is clean and well-organized, but it only has a single washroom stall, which means there will always be a line given how busy the restaurant is. Overall a very pleasant experience.
Coming to the copper coil was on a whim and I have no regrets because Ive had wings and over a 100 different pubs. And restaurants and these were by far the most amazing wings Ive ever had. First. Bite makes you go wow. Im Gaffney gonna make the trip from Vancouver back to squamish, just to have wings here. The atmosphere their service and I cant wait to try other things on the menu
I was in squamish for a small weekend getaway, ended up in this restaurant because my wife is vegetarian and the options there were very intriguing. Little did I know that the Jambalaya would change my life for ever. I can stress enough how good and how much everyone should try this place. I don t write reviews for places but I felt obligated to write this one. Thank you for the amazing experience.
Great place friendly staff,
Reasonably priced, good food, fast service, and friendly staff!
Great food, great service, great atmosphere! The beef dip should be added to a text book on how to do a smoked brisket beef dip. Lots of meat, super tender, melts in the mouth, and smoked to perfection. Fries were also quite good and the seasoning was a nice addition. Service was speedy, friendly, and on-point. Atmosphere gave a well executed southern small town restaurant vibe and did not feel over done. The smell of the smoker also added a nice touch.
Yummy thanks
Thé wings are amazing !
Loved visiting - this was on a quick stop off in Squamish but so glad that we found this little gem. Great food and service and would certainly recommend.
One of our go-to spots in squamish when we head out on the bikes. The food is fantastic and the beer is cold. Love the patio and the staff are super friendly
Fantastic food and beers, and great staff! I highly recommend this place any time of the day. Cheers!
My first poutine, certainly wont be my last. The brisket was exceptionally well cooked.
Nice beef brisket . Fun place
Awesome food.!
Got the sangria pitcher, brie bake, and smoked brisket. All were quite good!
Good vibes all around, cool decor, great beer, awesome staff, good food. Can t go wrong. The bbq is def good but the brisket could have been a little more smoky and fatty, our pieces were on the lean side, that was the only knock. The prices are fair for what you get and I d def come back when I m in Squamish!
The smoked pulled pork and beef brisket was literally amazing. So much variety with the corn bread, tender meats, sauces (I recommend adding the cholula and the tobasco) and the coleslaw. Only thing that could have been better was adding more mayo to the coleslaw as it was very bland. The brie appetizer was also really good but could have had more cheese. Pro tip: get the sangria pitcher!
Bourbon burger. In my top 3 burger ever !!
If you are in Squamish you gotta come here! The Copper Coil was an absolute delight! I loved this Chestnut Beer from Whistler was probably the best beer I have had! It tasted exactly like a tootsie roll! And the jambalaya, so delicious, be sure to ask it for extra prawn! Shoutout Danielle for being a great server!!!
In-house smoker. Anything with Brisket . Excellent, friendly service. Place is unpretentious, great vibe, unreal food. Highly recommended. Peace in the Middle East.
We are in squamish for the weekend and we decided to order takeout. The food was superb and service was amazing
Love all. Friendly servers and awesome food. I ordered a brisket and I was 100% satisfied. Amazing and various local beers were additional happiness. Ps. There were all Canadian and American plates except Yukon.
This place rocks! The waiter was extremely friendly and the food was excellent. Great fries, great chicken wings! On top of that there is a terrace which is really cozy in the winter because of the thermal radiation. They definitely know what their doing!
Great food and great service. We didnt have to wait long and we were there at a busy time
Very good service and delicious food

Delicious food, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere. Every dish is a taste sensation, beautifully presented. A memorable dining experience that exceeded expectations. Highly recommended for anyone looking to savor great flavors and enjoy a warm, inviting ambiance.
Great bar/restaurant. Divey, comfort food and cold beer. Loved it.
Quality food and great service. Nice place in downtown for drinks, food. They also have sports on TV.
Small but good place for a break. Covered outdoor patio with plenty of heaters for winter. Single male bathroom. Great service
Great place with a brilliant ambience and great food! We were visiting Squamish from Manitoba and this was our first stop. Lots of yummy vegetarian options as well.Got a moscow mule with Winter fest Mac n cheese and it was delightful! What a perfect welcome to city! Highly recommed for a relaxing and fun filled wrap up to a fabulous day! P.s do not miss the wall filled with pet pictures!
They have some of the best smoked meat dishes! Highly recommend this place for a lunch stop.
This place is cool. And what an unsuspecting gem! The food was stunningly good - I immediately started thinking about my next visit. Staff were great to interact with.
Cool little establishment in the heart of downtown Squamish! Three of us ordered and each of us enjoyed what we got. Service was good, the place has a fun theme, and most importantly the food was good! I had the Poke Bowl (although its not called that) brisket, broth, Vietnamese noodles and an egg, very delicious. My friend had the mac and cheese and we found out that they dont make a batch of this for the day but make each order individually. Am I second friend enjoyed the blonde chicken sandwich. Wed definitely come back!
Excellent food and service. Spent my bday there.
During our journey to Whistler on a cold winter night, we stumbled upon this hidden gem and decided to stop for dinner. Arriving on a weekday during late fall, we were promptly seated under the comforting warmth of the heaters in their enclosed porch. The service was notably friendly, and the beer selection boasted an impressive array of options, perfectly complementing the cozy ambiance. We indulged in their poutine (which is a dish of french fries and cheese curds topped with a brown gravy), which exceeded expectations and stands out as one of the finest. Generously adorned with savory gravy, melted cheese, and flavorful meat, the portion size was both substantial and satisfying. The jambalaya surpassed even the high bar set by the exceptional poutine, boasting a harmonious blend of spice, heat, and rich flavors. Brimming with generous portions of succulent shrimp, tender chicken, and flavorful sausage, each bite was a culinary delight. My only regret was the inevitable fullness that followed, a testament to the dishs irresistible appeal. In addition, the unexpectedly juicy chicken burger provided a delightful surprise, further enhancing our culinary experience. In summary, this dining establishment offers a memorable and delightful culinary journey. I wholeheartedly recommend stopping by; its an experience thats truly worth savoring.
Great atmosphere and staff, excellent food. Highly recommended.
Amazing service from the staff! The food was delicious and good portions! Me and my boyfriend were so full after and so happy we came across this restaurant. We had our baby & our dog with us and they had turned on the heat lamp for us on the patio and were more than accommodating! Definitely going to come again and tell our friends and family. I recommend trying the beef dip 100%
Great pit stop to refuel.this high performance machine with tasty ,tasty dishes
I go here every time I visit Squamish. The decor and the vibe is so cool. The staff are always really kind and easy to chat with - shoutout to the semi-Albertan individual originally from Winnipeg. I always go for the poutine, which is always fantastic, and the portions are great too. My friend got a chestnut ale from Whistler, which may legitimately have been my favourite beer that I ever tasted. Great vibes all around. Have a good one!
I ordered the brisket and pulled pork. Supposed to be smoked but the brisket tasted like it was basic roast beef and the pulled pork was only spiced by the barbecue sauce they added to it. No smokey flavor on either. Pretty sure it was popped in a smoker for 20 minutes at best but definitely not smoked.
The Chestnut Ale is a MUST drink. It s all I WANT to drink. In fact, I may never drink another beer again unless it s this exact beer. The food was great and the staff were even better! A MUST eat location :)
Great food, we split a playe of fettuccine with brisket and 2 sides salads. It was plenty for 2. The ambiance is great, good choice of music, great staff.
We had hippy burger and beef brisket for late dinner and it was awesome. The waitress was very kind and professional. The place was neat, nice and cozy. Definitely recommended!
Had a delicious meal here. The vegan options are amazing. The cajun fries are delicious. The service is impeccable. The vibe is off the chain. Thank you for the experience you will not be disappointed here!
As I said before (no idea if my comment made the front page ), but that brisket is super tasty.
Very nice spot with good vibe! Best poutine in Squamish!
