38015 2 Ave, Squamish, BC V8B 0C3, Canada
A specialty community grocer & lunch counter, bringing together artisans, producers, local ingredients and businesses under one roof. Featuring a cheese and deli counter, we're open for breakfast, and lunch from 9 am every day.
Peak Provisions is such an amazing lunch and dinner spots, including for premium grocery products. We've used them when we were renovation our new space and they were a go to to fuel us and our crew. They cater the best vegan wraps and treated us to a carrot and coconut soup. A must for Squamish. Thank you Martha, Gavin & Joël
From Vancouver we stopped by Squamish as our choice of destination to do a bit of shopping. We found this store. As I went in, I felt the urge to use the restroom first and since we are not from there, never been in the store, had to ask a lady where the washroom is. She said it's only for their customers so I told her I will be buying but need to use the washroom first. We browsed around the store, felt being looked at by other staff, perhaps coz we're not from there (I don't know) We shopped for 2 packs of coffee beans which were $26 each. When we got to the cash to check out we were charged differently. I paid $27 and my friend paid $26. I'm not sure about how to feel after that experience in this store. Expensive items, too.
What a lovely gem in Squamish! Visited every day for a delicious breakfast, coffee and baked goods. I'm looking forward to visiting again and having Peak Provisions a part of the itenirary. Everything truly is amazing, the staff and the chocolate chip cookies get a special shout out!
It’s good, but don’t have high expectations… likely a better spot for lunch rather than a fancy dinner. Avoid the incredibly overpriced $15 cocktails that come in a small childish glass about half the size of any reputable restaurant. The pasta night was fun and the chef did some great work with the homemade pasta, but unfortunately it seemed like amateur hour the entire experience… including the view of 20+ cigarette butts lying below our outdoor table where a neighbour came to smoke a few times during our meal. It was a very overpriced experience.
Their Salmon eggs benny was tasty. Staff was really friendly. I’d come back.
This gem of a shop in Squamish is the new cool and casual place to hang and have some delicious bites and beverages. Their fun and affordable Happy Hour starting at 3 makes for a perfect end of the day and their grocery and deli selection is full of speciality international and local products. After Happy Hour we got a Nightingale marg pizza from their Legends Freezer and it was great!
Loving our new neighbourhood Peak Provisions Grocer downtown Squamish. I've stopped by a few times to pick up items including some speciality groceries and Christmas gifts. Coffee, grilled cheese, and their wagyu beef hot dog were all delicious. They had a super fun night of cocktails made by the lovely Cece, with live music by Adam. Friendly helpful staff too! Definitely worth a visit.
We are so lucky in Squamish to have this new little gem open up! The food is fantastic, the choices are refined and unique for both the grocery section as well as the lunch bar. Services is excellent, knowledgeable and friendly staff. We will be returning over and over again!
Favourite lunch spot in town. Staff are friendly and I have yet to find an item on the menu that isn t delicious & made from fresh/quality ingredients. It s become the spot we bring any family or friends that visit :)
Please go back to making the old veggie sandwich, it was SO much better!
3 of us sat down for coffee/ tea, 2 ppl got hot drinks they forgot other. The coffee is sub par for $5.75 8oz latte, expected more for the price.
Everyone loves Peak Provisions, it is a very welcomed and needed shop in Squamish. Consistent and amazing service and food. I always look forward to coming in
Very pleasant spot for tea or coffee, with various other food/beverage options as well
Very good place
Great service and food!
Bought family size lasagna for my family; so much garlic, soooooo much, it was left uneaten by everyone! Inedible! Absolutely horrible! Never again, ever!
Superb service, fantastic food, good vibes
Love that Squamish has this place to pop in for high-quality pantry items, cheeses, and other foods, along with a tasty menu and chocolate chunk cookies!
Best muffins in town!
Such a great experience , the staff are nothing but warm and welcoming and the food will have you wanting to go back the minute you leave ! Highly recommend checking this place out
Satisfaction button. The smoked meat sandwich here were amazing. Tried their Braised Beef burrito today. So good!
This is my favorite place for happy hour!!! Wine for $6! The staff are LOVELY. The food is excellent. I always get a hummus platter- fresh food and so filling. Martha the owner is an angel.
This place is the bomb. Best spot for happy hour drinks and snacks. The food is always top notch - especially in their pasta nights! Some of the best I ve ever had. Always happy to be there. Owner and employees are friendly and happy to chat. Oh, and the grocery side is absolutely stacked with incredible stuff that you can t get anywhere else in Squamish!!!
Peak Provisions is the best place in Squamish! Amazing coffee, happy hour deals, tasty sandwiches and high-end groceries to take home. They always have new homemade soups and sauces in the fridge to elevate your home cooking. Their catering is top-notch and I would highly recommend hosting your events there. Were so lucky to have Martha and her team working their magic here in town.
Great location with chill vibes, good food and awesome people!
Hands DOWN best service, products, food, and atmosphere in Squamish. I ve never been disappointed, only thrilled and happy.
Love this lunch spot, gives me the familiar feeling of popping into someone (gourmet) kitchen and getting a high quality, delicious and creative meal served with care. Thank you Peak team!
THE WORST EXPERIENCE!!! We were here today as a group. There was soooo many things wrong with this place! First off, we had to wait outside in the rain. Although we were paying customers, we weren t welcome inside apparently We were promised combo meals including a sandwich, a soup, a cookie, and chai latte. When we arrived we were told that there s not going to be any soup which came as a surprise because it was not communicated before. They just put in a small bag of chips in there as a substitute for soup! Also, instead of chai latte that many of us were excited about, we got regular green tea teabags! And for those that requested VG GF options, they omit the cookie as well! Now on top of all of these changes and shortcomings, they charged us they same price with no discount!!!!!!! Very unprofessional and totally unacceptable! DO NOT GO HERE! Especially for group orders!
They were closing up to prep for Pasta Thursdays , as we walked in. They asked us if we could come back, but my wife had her heart set on a charcuterie board and even though they were busy prepping for supper, they graciously served us as well. They were friendly and chatty while they prepped for supper. The home made bread alone is enough to bring me back. Add on the delicious meats, pickles and onions mixed in with the friendly staff and this is a recipe for success. living in or visiting Squamish this is one place you need to try.
Best charcuterie in town
The most wonderful little grocer + cafe/bar! Friendly staff, good vibes and a great cheese and charcuterie selection to take home. Stopped by for a coffee and cant wait to come back for wine and cheese!
New in town, Must try place. I love their foods and people who work there
11/10 will come again
What a beautiful addition to Squamish. The staff are amazing, food was fantastic and wine delicious!!!
Obsessed with the food and the abundance of vegetarian options. I found the pricing amazing compared to the rest of the area.
Great new place in town. Especially for hanging out with friends for a glass of wine. Their food is excellent, and the prices are pretty competitive during Happy Hour.
What an amazing addition to our town! Amazing array of different cheeses, meats and accompaniments to any great charcuterie board. Went by for happy hour and was so happy to find out nearly everything on the board could be purchased in house to take home. There is a porcini pate to die for in the deli section and the in house pickled veg are divine. I ve also heard great things about their coffee. Beautifully laid out and owners/staff are all so lovely. Will be a regular stop for me!
Excellent new restaurant! We loved sitting at the bar at happy hour and chatting with the owner and staff. Very generous portions and high quality food and wine. Thanks for having us, we will be back often!
Oh man new favourite. Feels like I m in the city, which frankly is welcome to have that option. Love the beans (lots of garlic). Great coffee. Loooove the service. Heal up lad! All about that happy hour; got it nailed (except add more sandwiches..)
What an awesome little place. Good for a coffee, to pick up some picnic supplies or for a cheeky afternoon aperitif. The staff are really friendly and prices are affordable for quality goods.
Great place.
Wonderful addition to downtown Squamish, love the decor, the amazing food, the tasty beverages and stellar service. Enjoyed it so much we grabbed our groceries for dinner. Well done!!!!
We went for happy hour and it was great! Delicious food and portions that left us full. As well as a local beer selection, wines and whisky. Service was excellent and friendly. We will definitely be back for more! Excited to check out the grocery side next time we are in. Looks like there are lots of delicious take home items. Including meats, cheeses and pastas!
Theyve got it all from breakfast, beautiful lunches, deli products, apres and wine. Great service and knowledge staff. Feel very lucky that Squamish has this great new addition. Looking forward to lots of good times ahead.
Fantastic. The food and atmosphere are are high end, but the vibe is laid back. Really nice addition to town
The BEST place in town for drinks and yummy snacks. Also a fun place to meet up with friends. Totally cannot say enough good things about this place. The owner Martha is such a gem.
Sat at the bar, and waited 5 minutes to be noticed. Service was terrible, and food handling skills were atrocious. Had high hopes based on local reviews, but didnt live up to the hype.
Great staff, delicious food and drinks, reasonable prices especially at happy hour - love it
Great food, great prices, excellent staff - Im super impressed with this new gem in town. Heads up: the menu is not extensive - but does it need to be? I will take quality over quantity any day. So far everything Ive tried during breakfast and happy hour has been excellent.
Just what squamish needed! Such lovely service, food and drinks. Going to become an institution Im sure!!!
Love it here! Just what Squamish needed.
Im so grateful this lovely boutique grocery and wine bar has opened in our town. Its an absolutely perfect place for happy hour, and to gather with community!
So excited about a new unique and scrumptiously delicious option for going out in style in Squamish. Come after skiing, go on a date night, run by after dog walking . Amazing wine options and tapas and quality meats and veggie options. Walk out with deli goods from the grocery too. Take charcuterie up the ski hill! Freshly packed.
I went for the first time with my girlfriends for my birthday last week. We were there in the afternoon - the place was full of people, such a great vibe. While we looked through the store, we were greeted by 2 different staff members: they offered their assistance and were friendly. We sat at a table and had delicious lunches - the sandwich reminded me of being un Europe!! Again, 2 different servers approached us to ask how everything was. The vibe, the service and the food - it was 5 stars from start to finish. We will be back, we will send friends to eat here and recommend it to visitors. Loved the selection of olive oils, took the chili infused oil home - so good.
Nice space and looks like good food but the hours are all over the place. Have gotten excited to go a few times now to show up and they are closed when online it says they are open. Look forward to trying it out once they are past the growing pains.
Amazing customer service :) everything I ve tried has been delicious So happy Squamish has a new space to eat, drink, shop, work and socialize in- thank you team!
What a fine addition to downtown Squamish. We have been twice now. There happy hour is excellent. High quality produce and excellent wines. For breakfast- great coffee and one of the best baguettes I ve had. Just a bit in the slow side but I guess that s the vibe. If you want quick go to MacDonald s.
Lovely spot for lunch. Friendly staff, fair food prices and great cheese. Happy hour too!
Best happy hour in Squamish! Martha has curated some delicious snacks and drinks and the atmosphere is open and welcoming. Reasonable prices and good portion sizes. They also carry some specialized grocery items and cook at home meal options. Haven t tried those yet but if they re anything like the food they serve in person, they ll be fantastic. Peak Provisions is a lovely and much needed addition to Squamish.
A well designed, incredibly tasteful addition to the Squamish retail/hospitality sector. The charcuterie board they created for our family exceeded our expectations. Far easer and more cost effective than buying the ingredients ourselves. The Jambon blanc from the deli is delicious. OMG, what can I say about the Grittiness (cherries soaked in Kirsch). Try them served over some french vanilla ice cream! Wagu hot dog with a glass of beer during Happy Hour, Yahoo.
the blonde aussie girl made me a superb coffee! would recommend :)
This is THE place to go: whether you want a snack, a lunch, a breakfast, a dinner, a GLASS OF WINE! The wine is phenomenal. Hard stop. The service INCREDIBLE with a smile ( I dont think you get that anywhere anymore) . Food delicious. Home made. And their happy hour is completely out of the world unmatchable. If there is one place you need to visit in Squamish - THIS IS IT.
This place is so cute. The food was delicious and exactly what we wanted. We gotta come back for charcuterie and wine.
This is a wonderful spot to meet friends, get a quick bite or find a work space and the groceries from international markets brings a little bit of European cuisine and culture to Squamish. The staff and team are always friendly and the food counter dishes charcuterie and happy hour deals are amazing! Ticks a lot of boxes in one little spot!
Kind of a strange experience, Restaurant is visually very nice and the food was good for the most part but I couldnt help but notice one employee was cooking all the food as well as serving all the food while others stood around and looked flustered and told her what to do. Kinda made me sad while I was eating which made the experience. There was also an older gentleman who seemed like he might have been the owner who was seemingly making things for the poor cook by making a mess everywhere she was working and even cleaning off the contents of her cutting board onto the counter for her to clean up so he could slice a baguette
Every time I ve been in since Martha opened in December it s been a great experience. The food is always delicious and the staff are always so friendly and welcoming. As a local I highly recommend heading down for brunch/lunch/happy hour or coffee it s all sooo good. You will not be disappointed.
They have some fun finds if youre looking for high end treats or gifts. They have fresh pasta, gourmet meats, and other imported goodies. Their selection seems to consist of someones curated favourite foods. You must try their lemon wafer rolls or ginger shortbread. The staff strike me as not having been trained on how to serve their intended clientele. I was once leaned over a display table, looking at a product and a staff member walked between me and the table. I worked in high end food for years and thats a big no-no. You walk around the table. My guess is this type of business is new for the owner and it shows. The service is mediocre. Repeatedly, within 10 seconds of entering the shop, a staff member interrupts my browsing to ask if Im ok, followed by another staff member doing the same a minute later. I dont need to be hounded, especially not by multiple staff members when Im midway through reading the ingredients of a new food Ive not seen before. The shop is full of rare finds, but its difficult to enjoy them being bothered so often. When Im ready to pay at the till, however, Im often left waiting. They have it backwards. Be approachable and available for questions. Serve customers when theyre clearly ready to pay. Although some of the displays are appealing and attractive, they didnt think through the payment counter. Half of the products are not reachable because theyve pushed a table up alongside the counter. To reach anything would require interrupting people sat down to eat, which is rude and awkward. They havent quite figured out whether theyre a grocery store or a café. The name suggests they sell provisions, but based on their service they prioritize the customers eating prepared food on the premises. Theyre disorganized. If theyre attempting to be both a provisions store and a café, they need to divide their staff accordingly. It seems instead that all staff do all things and they dont communicate with each other, so it results in bad service. Sometimes no one serves me, other times three people try and serve me at once. And for the love of truffle oil, please stop asking if Im ok while Im shopping. If I have a question, trust me, Ill ask it.
We come here often to grab some food and snacks, the food is incredible and is served beautifully, and the food is just as good as the service, Highly recommend the avocado toast with the new salad
Sometimes I come here after school on my bike to have some snacks and cold water, They have really good popcorn, me and my parents come here sometimes too, the hotdog is really good to, the patio is comfortable too, they have a outdoor sofa. I really think more people should come here with family and friends, they also have really good imported candy that is not normally available
Love this place! The staff, the food, the wine - all fantastic. So nice to sit at the bar, eat great food and chat to Martha and her team. It was nice to pop in after the farmers market on Saturday too - great grocery items (ready made food!) with 10% off and a glass of wine on the house. If you haven t checked this place out yet, get in there!
This is top shelf produce!! The coffee & all the sandwiches are delicious- and you can even have wine or beer. Staff are also very friendly !!!
Such a wonderful experience! Came here in a group of 6 for my birthday and not only did they stay open late for us, we also had a beautiful array of meats and cheeses ready when we arrived. Everything was super yummy - as were the cocktails and wine. Definitely recommend this hidden gem!
Great Burrata but the customer service was awful. The women behind the counter was rude and abrasive, she seemed to be the owner?
Lovely atmosphere, great food and rad humans. Need more stars:)
Living in Squamish can be difficult to find good vegetarian food that is gluten free. I was so surprised and delighted to have the most delicious, huge salad ever while at Peak Provisions. They did not drown it will balsamic vinegar. It had some unique veggies and was filling. I hadnt gone in before because I thought they were all about meat. I was wrong. Im going back!
I cant express enough how much Ive enjoyed my experiences at Peak Provisions. Whether Im dining in with friends or grabbing something on the run, they never fail to impress. The attention to detail in their dishes, the warm and attentive service, and the delightful inventory make it a culinary gem that Ill keep coming back to. If you havent visited Peak Provisions yet, I highly recommend you do so! My favourites are the Cobb Salad and the Wagyu Beef Hotdog!
Delish.
Great food and fabulous cappuccinos! Cant wait to come back!!
This place is always 10/10. Best coffee, breakfast wrap and pancakes I have ever had. I also never write reviews, this place is excellent!
Stepped off the ridiculously touristy main street and found Peak Provisions. Truly great products and a super spot for lunch. Very welcoming team and cool vibe.
I accidentally ordered a Le Brie sandwich thinking it was a Tomato Brie. I explained the situation and my dietary restrictions to a server. He was super nice about it and said he could make me a veggie sandwich instead. The owner (I think) probably overheard our conversation. She came up to me and told me that I would have to pay for veggie sandwich and that she couldn t give it away. I felt she was inconsiderate. I understand I was at fault here but a more customer-friendly resturant would have recognized that it was an honest mistake and exchanged the sandwich. I definitely do not want to go back here.
This place is excellent! I love the breakfast and I love the vibe. The owner is great and also has a phenomenal wine selection. I would highly recommend stopping by here if youre in Squamish
We had a wonderful experience. Generous portions for the cheese board and friendly service! Thanks!
Went there for lunch and the owner i think this blonde lady was extrmely rude to everyone. Would never go back to this place ever again because of that one lady
Overall experience not for me, the food wasnt that good and I couldnt help but notice all the hygiene issues from sitting at the bar, be wary if you have food allergies.
Great food, atmosphere, and service! I highly recommend their eggs Benny Mmm
Love Peak Provisions Grocery and Goods! Dedicated to their local community and much more, Peak offers an amazing array of fabulous Deli goods, cheeses, charcuterie, delicious take home meal ideas, and inspired offerings at the breakfast/lunch/wine bar. From a perfectly delivered coffee in the morning, onto delicious lunch offerings and into the delectable Happy Hour/dinner menu, the staff at PP will welcome you for a personal and easy and inspired dining experience. I have so enjoyed my visits and would recommend it to anyone living in, or passing through Squamish BC, whether to stock up for that great weekend away, a special meal, or to take a little time out to enjoy a moment, solo or in the company of good friends! Its just a nice place to go.
Best place for coffee, lunch, après work or just pop in for no reason - yesterday s lunch while having a meeting - great service and top food quality
Incredible food, top notch service, and great vibe. Turned our late lunch meeting into a really terrific afternoon. Most amazing green salad, which looked simple on the menu, and completely blew me away when I tasted it. Obvious that the plate had been freshly, lovingly, expertly prepared. Can t wait to go back.
Love this little Squamish gem. My fav lunch dish is their wagu hotdog. They also do a great charcuterie board (with a gluten free option) and have a good happy hour menu. Thank you Peak Provisions!
There are so many fabulous things about Peak provisions. They have GREAT coffee and the best muffins I have ever had! The staff are super friendly and very professional. It has a good locals vibe of community and then has unique European food, which is also so good! I love this place, cant say enough about it! It is a must visit.
Everything is delicious
Honestly, one of the best brunch experiences I ever had. Everything was made right in front of you with fresh ingredients. Loved the pancakes and the eggs Benny. Trevor s energy was on point and made the experience memorable.
The place has a really nice atmosphere, the staff were really friendly and the open kitchen concept was very contemporary, the ingredients also looked high quality. Sadly as a Vegan person there was no plant based option on the menu, and the alternative would have been a salad. Would definitely come back there for food if they add a few plant based options to the menu
Been here a few times- 10/10 for food and service!
Pleasantly surprised that we have a new cozy place in town, drinks and food are great and a bit of a specialty groceries as well - perfect for a treat or gifts!
Tasty arugula salad w toasted hazelnuts and warm goat cheese. Friendly crowd behind the counter led by Martha. Barstools are for lunching and not for lounging. Crispy French baguette, well be back.
