Place that offers good vegetarian/Vegan Ramen always the best! 🫶 Samurai have tons of veg option! I loved their veg Ramen! Their sushi were delicious. The broth of udon was good as well! If you are nearby and looking for veg/vegan Ramen or Sushi, must try this place!
We’ve been loyal customers for years, frequently visiting with family and friends because of the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. However, the food quality has noticeably declined over the past year. Unfortunately, several of us, including myself, have experienced food poisoning after recent visits. This has happened multiple times, and most recently, a relative fell ill after dining here last weekend. If you’re vegetarian, the food seems to be safe, but I can’t say the same for other dishes. I hope the restaurant takes this seriously and addresses the issue.
I love stopping here on the way to horshoebay. Tasty, affordable and friendly place to eat in or take out.
Fantastic place you must go. Think about it I got a box of sushi for $40. It was a huge box healthy nutritious food and really good. That’s the equivalent of one and a half pizza in a fast food place. Ordered online and picked it up pretty quickly within 20 minutes already paid everything online just had to leave the store. Will be back.
Ordered some take out tonight but if you want to eat in, you better be here before 8:15 cuz they close at 9pm. Otherwise, the food is tasty and good portions. The inside menus are much more informative than the ones at the window. Lots of parking out front. Got about 4-5 tables for 2-4 people to eat in at.
Came for dinner, food was amazing! Loved the beef tan tan ramen, and dynamite rolls were great too! The staff were so friendly and nice, they went above and beyond for us. I highly recommend this place. Mostly cause the food is amazing and the staff is so great!! Too bad we only came by as visitors otherwise we'd come back ❤️❤️❤️
We loved the service, we loved the sushi options and the prices. Definitely be back. We ordered #3 cpbo substitute out the California Roll for Avo/Salmon roll and add housemade hot chili spice. Thank you.
Good sushi. At first glance this place looks almost like a fast food restaurant. We were in a hurry as it was late so we tried it out. The sushi was good and the portions were generous. We would come back for sure. The Buddha roll was amazing.

Just wanted to give a shout out to the woman working last night (feb 18th) at the downtown location who helped me navigate the menu with my dietary restrictions. It has been really exhausting/frustrating trying to find what I can and cant eat. Your help was amazing, thank you for all the suggestions and your kindness.

I was in Squamish a few weeks ago and this place was my highlight for sure! Thank you for the hot, yummy ramen keeping me going. I tried it for lunch and went back for dinner before I left Squamish! If I had more time I wouldve loved to tried more items from their menu!!
My go-to sushi place! Delicious rolls, friendly service, good value love it, especially the Tataki Roll and Donburi Bowls.
Had Buddha roll and meat lovers donburi, both were really yummy

This is a great location! I have been a Samurai customer since 2006 in Whistler and have frequented both locations in Squamish since 2014. I love the Online Order feature for pickup and it s my goto for quick, healthy takeout eats. The staff are friendly and the food is always great. They get busy.. take advantage of the online ordering and pre payment!!
This place used to be good. This time, the portions were quite small. And the Rainbow role sure tasted rather funky.
The place is small, in a commercial location, it was uninspiring but we were hungry and had to run an errand nearby. What a nice surprise! It was really delicious, the ramen was simply decadent, and combo #2, seriously, the diversity on the plate, plus, it s affordable. My boyfriend and I were delighted! Well go back tomorrow Vegetarian options: Japanese food, available with tofu and other vegetarian choices

The sushi is good, but not anything amazing. If your looking for some quick, fair priced, and just good sushi then this place is for you. However the other menu items do not disappoint, the Chicken Karaage is fantastic and the miso and udon do not disappoint.

This is the worst sushi place on the planet. Service, food quality, and ambiance is really bad. I like to give positive reviews, but there s nothing positive about this place. Keep looking for other options.
Great sushi in Squamish for takeout and value. Udon is great when under the weather and they have some unique rolls to Samurai. Worth the stop.

The sushi was very good, flavourful, and prepared quickly. Jacquie and I had a variety of sushi all of which were a delight for the palate.We started off with a good size miso soup that was totally enjoyable and at the right temperature. Complimentary tea is a nice touch and its self serve from a large dispenser. I find it a little pricey however, so we only go when were craving sushi. The service is good and we are always greeted with a smile. They are busy with a continuous flow of take-out orders and sit down customers, which tends to mean that they are good at what they do! We like it and we are convinced you will too. Cheers

Great sushi! Rolls were full, large and tasty. Nice slices of sashimi and nigiri was great. Fast and super friendly service - this place was busy with take out and eat-in traffic the whole time we were there. Would definitely recommend and will be back!

Authentic Japanese food - tasted the same as those we had in Japan. The chef is Japanese. Best Ramen and don we ve had so far during our North American trip.

It tastes very good, and the ramen is well served, recommended, and the service is very pleasant, :3, I will definitely return after a long walk or for a craving. About 28 cad for the ramen, a sushi and a canned cider (I didnt know what cider was until I tried it xD).

Very very low quality of food! Tasted like it was not fresh! The California roll doesnt look made professionally - just rice, piece of avocado, and piece of crabmeat. Very disappointing.

Not good. Ordered a couple combo meals that came to $60 total. The amount of food was quite reasonable, much like Vancouver sushi places. Thats unfortunately where the similarities ended. Food smelled kinda funny in the car, which should have been a tell-tale sign, but we powered through. Rice in the rolls was dry and nothing tasted very fresh. Worst part - after a few hours both of us felt stomach sick. I would strongly advise staying away from this sushi restaurant. Its not worth the risk. Order from one of the higher rated places in town..

I like the fast service, even though my family made a big order, the food was ready in a good time. The food itself also tastes very good so Id say its absolutely worth it to come have lunch if youre passing by this area (open for takeout during COVID-19).

Sashimi portions are small and the bento box just comes with rice and salad. Disappointing
