Quirky, eccentric, community-driven, edgy. Must go to for anything Squamish nightlife.

Amazing place for a snack and a party. Karaoke night doesnt disappoint and they have a great selection of drinks, including non-alcoholic.

Fantastic music and shows, great beer (and kombucha!) on tap, and awesome vibes! These guys are super dedicated to supporting the arts and music scene in this town and building community!

Happened to drop by at this place for a closed event a couple of weeks ago. The location is excellent and the interior is nice and cozy. Mayson, who is their Event Manager does an awesome job in creating the events and even setting up for them. Prior to our event, she set up all the chairs and tables by herself and despite all that was so welcoming and a great host. Her bubbly personality and attitude are a real asset to her employer. The lady at the bar was very kind and didn t even want any $$ for my ginger ale (non alcoholic) but I was so impressed by her gesture that I insisted I at least pay something. She might be one of the co-owners possibly. Regardless, I would like to pay it forward for the both of them and this awesome place. I live in the lower mainland but wish I could move to Squamish in a heartbeat. I was supposed to attend an event this last weekend but was unable to go as I was sick and Mayson once again was kind enough to put me on the guest list even though I had asked just a couple of days before. I wasn t able to attend and let her know as I didn t want to deprive someone else of a spot just in case especially because of the long weekend. See you soon! Maybe I ll come by next Sunday for my birthday!

I love what theyve done with tricksters hideout. They have fun events all of the time and great drink, coffee and food offerings. Not to mention the art is awesome! Keep it up!

Loveliest down to earth owners, great space for meetups, so glad they bring different communities together. Good IPA on tap too!! Will be back

Ive only ever really gone when Nothing Productions is putting on a show. Its always a good time. Love the DJs, love the music, and love the cozy venue. Its pretty cool that we have an actual night club in Squamish now! We dont have to go to the city for a night out dancing anymore.

Suck a lovely place to spend sometimes. We use to go on Sunday to play pool, have a nice coffe, good music, good vibes :)

Really cool spot - has coffee, delicious cocktails, mocktails, and a million other things. There s so much to do and look at here. Lots of art, drums, board games, pool, etc. this place is amazinggg!

Simple menu and great cocktails. The best part of this place is what the spacenoffers - there is so much whimsy and imaginination and even a full size chess set. Best accessed by the alley (so cute they say is 1 1/2 ave ...) this would be a great spot for a coffee to lose youre thoughts in or a first date to play some games in a cool space! Since its just off the highway and open long hours I would definitely stop here instead of a fast food joint on the pit stop up to whistler next time!

Its a wonderful little place that has a very tucked away but special kinda vibe to it. Its a cafe *and* a bar. People who run it are nice. Whats not to like?

Came across this place after being told about. I don t live in Squamish but so nice to see a live music venue and sweet spot to hang open up. Barista was super helpful and lovely. Will for sure to come back for an event!

Love the chessboard floor!! And the life size pawns, king, queen, and all the other pieces.

Great service, the place it s kind of unique make you feel that you are on a vintage place. I really like the ambiance of the bar during a Saturday night, it can get busy. Great for young people who wants to meet people or want to hang out with friends. Will definitely recommend it.

Great coffee!

The coolest venue in town! Super friendly staff, a unique and ecclectic decor with tons of events and concerts happening pretty much daily. Love their open mics, jams, karaoke, and concerts. Also has a killer dance floor. Something for everyone!

This is such an amazing space and very needed in Squamish. With a great combination of community and art related events, as well as awesome club nights! Ive never gone out so much!

Super Groovy Space! Love the vibe! Ive been for a couple of shows now and the bands were great, the love was in the air and the owners are reinventing hospitality. Love the funkadelic decor and the art installations by local artist William Wallace will leave you wanting more...we will definitely be back! Keep up the good work guys!

What a fun chameleon kinda place this is! I absolutely love the decor & vibe this place gives you, had some amazing time both chillin with a cup of coffee and dancin the night out. Im so stoked for what the new owners turned the space into, lots of people before gave it a try, but no one has so far achieved even close to what is it now. Well done! Thank you for enriching our community! Oh and their grazing board is a bomb

Finally a hub for all of Squamish s amazingly talented artist s and entertainment. Alway s something happening. Plus the staff are amazing!! Would recommend to anyone.

Currently my go to community hub. Im someone who isnt a huge fan of drinking alcohol regularly, so I appreciate the alternative of a late night coffee and live music. Tricksters does both well. Lots of different types of events take place here. Kareoke one night a week, open mics regularly, burlesque, live bands, djs, poetry, etc.

Very quickly became my favourite place in Squamish to go for a unique night out! A very art-focused and visually pleasing interior, with great live tunes and other performances happening! Love the variety of music and theres something for everyone, every night of the week. Always have had a great experience with the staff, and the owners are very warm and welcoming. They are clearly passionate about the community and service they are providing, and Im excited to see what else they come up with!

I have loved this place every single time I have gone in! They either have a cool free show (I saw Rocky Horror the forst time I went) or special event going on or I find myself making up reasons to go for coffee every few days. Absolutely in love!

Quite possibly the most unique space Ive been to! This venue is a feast for the senses - theres beautiful vintage furniture, fantastic art pieces, delicious coffee & drinks (plus non-alcoholic options), and a killer sound system. We were thrilled to find a space that. encourages community and collaboration. Theres a great come as you are, leave better attitude at Tricksters Hideout, and the staff are amazing. We will be back again the next time were in Squamish!

Chill beats in the back round while enjoying a matcha and meeting for a creative brainstorm with another business owner. A unique space that is perfect for off the beaten path connecting.

Awesome and creative space for any desire. Coffee is top-notch and the events create an amazing atmosphere! The staff are super friendly and attentive, even on the incredibly busy nights! I couldn t recommend Trickster s anymore! Squamish is lucky to have a place like it.

I loooove this place! We came to Squamish on a little trip from Ontario and we have gone to this place every day that weve been here. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, the energy is amazing, the place itself is so unique and cute. The drinks are amazing!!!!!! Im obsessed with the blueberry tea. Theres such a sense of community in there that I just love. This place alone makes me want to move here

The service is better at a dog pound than here. The bartender(BLONDE CHICK) had a vendeta against the woman ordering. I asked for an orange slice along with my shot, and she basically explained that she did not feel like cutting it up for me. When I told her Id pay for the orange slice, she basically made it clear. SHE DID NOT WANT TO CUT AN ORANGE. PERIOD. My group of friends, even other friends that had separate nights but were also there, all felt the same. There was one extremely nice guy bartender, and the rest were as we call it spicey. Very rude and very impatient. The one extremely nice bartender that took care of us after this all went down and did apologize in regards to the bartender (blonde woman in a white tank) that was incredibly rude from the get go. He was very aware of her service and how we were being treated and apologized in respect of it all. He even CUT AN ORANGE FOR US!!!! I was then discussing what happened with a manager and he was completely defending her service and was not even remotely apologetic for the way I was treated; then in my conversation I mentioned the name of someone I know in town who co owns the bar; the manager then proceeds to tell me Im welcome to leave the bar just for mentioning the name and called over another blonde lady who was sitting up by the dj booth. She also was happy to invite me to leave just for mentioning this name. We knew these were not legitimate reasons to be kicked out; and it was clear because we actually never got escorted out. So it was all just empty threats, BUT at that point, we had enough with Tricksters, and we decided to check out the tavern to see if maybe our night would go a little differently. The bouncer was notified about us and was told that we needed to drink water before entering and to go across to the coil for water.... I had only purchased 3 drinks before deciding to leave, so to try and accuse me of being intoxicated was the only thing they could try and defend themselves with. Which clearly was not the case. As previously mentioned-being a small town, this may be the first and last time we check out tricksters. Small town businesses DO NOT TREAT PEOPLE LIKE THIS. Honestly, it was a waste of time and money tonight. Conclusion. Bad service when it comes to serving drinks during a busy night. Maybe they cant handle the volume? Or theyre just truly not happy working there. I. Dont. Know. All around every single person involved in that establishment needs a wake-up call. THIS IS NOT HOW YOU TREAT PEOPLE!!! Oh, I forgot to add. The manager was drunk the same night and attempted to message me regarding my review and the way MAYSON spoke to me? Was just the cherry on top. And just to top it off, they even went as far as making 2 drink specials 5 days after the incident; named after my review. Making fun of the situation clearly shows their lack of care and respect and all around accountability for bad service.

Amaaaazing spot, love the staff some of my favourite bartenders in town, very friendly and always remeber what i like to drink, the owners are fantastic, awesome shows every weekend, the vintage steampunk decore and art work really adds to the atmosphere. Karaoke is on point. Damce parties, open mic nights, poetry and more great times to be had. Great coffee and cocktails. And they have a pool table! I have hard time not going in there five nights a week. I can only hope they name a drink special after me! Love you guys keep the vibe alive!!
