1584 BC-99, Squamish, BC V8B 0H2, Canada
We are a locally owned restaurant who believes in always using the freshest ingredients when possible. Our food is served in a fast food manner but most definitely not cooked that way. Wait times can vary from 15 min to one hour. Try to pre order when ever your in a hurry.
I loved this place. Above all, the atmosphere is amazing. I mean a fried chicken x Mexican restaurant with a blend of traditional Mexican decor and old school American rap art all over the walls? In Squamish, British Columbia?? It’s so random and I loved it. A little pricey but the food was worth it. Nachos were great, I like my cheese drippy bruh!
Sunny Chibas Restaurant offers a great variety of food options with fresh and delicious flavors. The staff are incredibly nice and friendly, making the experience even better. If you’re coming from Whistler, I highly encourage stopping by to enjoy their offerings. Another thing I love is that they are open until 10 PM, making it convenient for a late meal. Definitely worth a visit!
Loved the atmosphere and decor of this place. I would pass on the chicken. The skin was tasty but the chicken meat had no flavour. The fries were good. We tried the beef dip and that was my favourite. The fish taco was good too but quite pricy (over $6 for one taco!).
You guys have the best chimichanga (hands down) and one of the best fried chicken in town. Great service, wonderful decoration and exquisite flavourful food. Will be back whenever I am on my way from/to Squamish/Whistler.
This place hits the spot after a long hike or a long day climbing. Fills you up and tastes great. I personally love the chicken taco salad bowl
This was my 3rd visit in Sunny Chibas Mexican restaurant. Never got disappointed by the quality of the food whether it was fried chicken or, burrito or taco salad. The only thing if you visit for lunch on weekends the wait time for food to get ready is quite long. The place is colourful and the welcoming Mexican atmosphere with Spanish music creates quite a memorable time. We love going there after long hikes or tiring skiing days on the way back towards Vancouver. Plenty of parking spaces here. Dining in with the great view of the giant chief granite is a wonderfully pleasant experience. Try their massive Taco Salad you won't get disappointed 🤩🤤 Sounds like lots of adventurous travellers have made a stop here. The entrance is a storytelling piece of art decorated by travellers stickers 💥
Sunny Chibas Fried Chicken Mexican Cantina offers a fantastic dining experience. I enjoyed three tacos—fish, lemon chicken, and chili beef—all bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. The restaurant's chill vibes and friendly staff made the visit even better. Highly recommend for delicious Mexican food in a relaxed setting!
What a delicious place to stop and take in a meal! Fun atmosphere and chill vibe! Had the chimichanga and it was super delicous! My hubby loved his pork belly wrap! Next time I am going to check out the fried chicken!
Fried Chicken and Mexican!! Where have you been all our lives! Please open up a location in Mission, I will invest . Our food was delicious
Such a kind staff and amazing food! Will always go here when passing through
Very good. Friendly cashier gave good recommendations for food. Poutine is probably the lowest value, burrito is highest. Guy behind the counter was very nice and gave us warm water for our thermoses. Delicious pork belly taco.
My Favorite restaurant. Order the chimichonga! You will be very happy
Big and delicious tacos, we ordered fish, Korean spicy cabbage, shrimp and beef, fries and fried chicken were also great.
Delicious every time!!! Never disappoints and huge portions
The best Mexican food Ive had in a while! The chimichangas were phenomenal! Tacos were amazing! And the burritos was huge! We couldnt finish it in one go as the quantity was huge. So satisfying and extremely tasty.
This is the most unexpected place ever, and you need to stop here. It s 90s hip hop with incredible Mexican food. I ordered the wild baja taco and ribeye taco. My husband ordered the fish burrito and it was everything we were both craving. The service here is amazing and it s a fun atmosphere, that s opened later hours!
Love this place!!!
This place was epic! The food matched the vibe. The woman who took my order was super cool and friendly. I had the fried chicken and the quesadilla. Both were top notch!! The fried chicken was crunchy and flavourful without being greasy. The quesadilla was spot on! With rice and awesome refried beans! I will be back!
Food so good
Vegetarian options: Gluten free Food
You can bring your own hot drink, while they are still available by restaurant Parking: Large parking spots Food : 5/5 |
Checked out this spot on our way home. Super welcoming staff and great customer service. Thanks for the chicken Aaron!!
Dare I begin to explain the exquisite temptation that is Sunny Chibas? Can one explain the end-of-summer rain glancing off the Chief, or a childs laughter as they experience their first Loggers Sports event. Just as Squamish has grown, one precious thing remains to myself and the rest of its inhabitants...The mouth watering nourishment within Sunny Chibas. Specifically, the Ancho Pork burrito that changed my life forever!! I spent the better part of my highschool life making said burrito a special treat to myself, and now that I no longer live in Squamish, it is the most sacred moment of my visit. Thank you Aaron, for your continued service to the community.
Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options Food
Chimichanga is the best!!!
Delicious fish burrito! It was really filling, and I loved how there was lots of cabbage and veggies added. It made the burrito taste more fresh and the acidic sauce it came with balanced it out well. Also, the staff were very nice, and the way it was decorated inside was really unique.
Not sure if Chibas has changed hands, certainly alarming to see the old crew has vanished and been replaced by TFW s bossed around by a middle aged white lady. No shortage of folks looking for work in Squamish, deplorable to see a local institution like this undercut the local labor market while charging $6.50 for a small taco. I ve been a regular since this place opened as Mags99 back in, like, 2012. Certainly will not be returning while the owners are engaged in wage suppression.
Loved the vibe. Delicious food. Have both veg and non veg options.
Always delicious, a regular stop on the drive through Squamish. The steak burrito was phenomenal.
Best food
I live for the taco bowl and enjoy when they have live music there
From the outside, this restaurant might not catch your eye, but dont let appearances fool you. Inside, youll find a culinary treasure trove, where the food is nothing short of spectacular. The unassuming exterior hides a warm and inviting atmosphere, with dishes that are crafted with care and bursting with flavor. Its a place where the focus is on quality and taste, making it a delightful surprise for anyone who steps through its doors.
Food was good now its over spiced the birria tastes like curry. Go back to the old recipes stop letting the Punjabi change the recipe its not good anymore
The number one spot to stop after climbing the chief. Really cool owner, great food, large portions
The good was great tried 4 tacos. The fish one was my fav. Cant wait to grab some chicken one time.
One of if not the best little food spot in squamish. Check it out and make sure youre hungry!
Service was friendly and food came out fast and fresh. Baja fish tacos were very tasty! Very good portions as well. Definitely will be coming back when I m in the Squamish area.
Waited 30 minutes for a burrito and 2 tacos. They proceeded to give my tacos to another person which had been sitting there for 15 of those 20 minutes before my burrito came out. Then the burrito that I got was also cold and also had a hair in it. This place used to be my favourite place to stop while driving to and from whistler. I WIL DEFINITELY NEVER COME BACK HERE!!!!
Fantastic food
Weird in a good way. Chimichangas and nachos were great!
Portions are massive, and they have options for vegetarians and vegans, so theres something for everyone. This classic spot in Squamish is a great place to drop by on your way back from Whistler or after a day on The Chief.
Food was pretty sub par considering the hype around this place. Very expensive for what you get too.
Had the steak burrito. Not a great one for me. The steak was cooked fifteen times too many. It was more like beef jerky. Also barely any cheese on it. Not impressed.
Taco salad was the best I ve ever had. My 11-year old son LOVED the chicken. So happy we stumbled across this place.
Great food and friendly staff. Highly recommend.
Its not just the food but the atmosphere too. A really cool place to get a well made taco or two
Beef dip Is the greatest thing anyone has ever made
I always drop by whenever Im hiking around Squamish or coming back down from Whistler. Everyone I take here LOVES it!
It gets pretty busy as it s off the highway, but the burritos were very good and large. Poutine could be better and the portion was . The murals and stickers all over the walls bring a fun atmosphere, bring your stickers too because you can put them on the front door or bathroom stalls.
Was heading home from a day in Squamish and we ve always passed and wanted to try out Chiba! Pretty busy which is great, I ordered the pork belly burrito, my friends ordered enchiladas and the chimichanga. They really enjoyed theirs, enchiladas were a bit wet but that s ok. My burrito was alright, it was about $20 after tax, but it was subpar in my opinion. The pork belly was perfect though, should have just gotten a plate of that! Service was good and everything was clean and not unorganized which was nice!
Food was okay and slightly overpriced but the worst part was the blonde girl working at cash. She was weirdly condescending to every customer and kept rolling her eyes or sighing when people would do something slightly annoying (like take too long to order, or not know where to put their dishes away). She was also slamming chairs when clearing tables. I don t know if she was just having a bad day but it threw off the whole experience.
I was really impressed with the staff and how well they worked together and how they communicated with the customers! The dishes were cleared off the tables and from the bins consistently . My son and I really enjoy the chimichangas here and the lineup was long and they told us right from the start that we would be waiting and I really appreciated that. The food did not disappoint. It was delicious as always . The portion size is quite large. I was able to have the other half for dinner.
This is the spot to be:)
What can I say? This place has been a staple of my experience up and down the sea to sky for years! Even before it was Sunny Chibas! But it is an amazing spot that is full of authenticity and a good time Parking: Lot of spots and I dont usually have any issues, but can be full!
Fried chicken poutine is exceptional! The steak and fish burritos are also incredible. The wild mushroom poutine is good but theres just ground up mushrooms no full mushrooms in there.
The food here is outstanding, if a little pricey. The staff are very nice. I do have a complaint, and its not restricted to this restaurant but this was a great example. When I got sour cream with my meal, it was a tiny little 1 oz container, completely inadequate for the meal. I love sour cream, especially with spicy food, and the chimichanga is a large plate of food. i asked for more sour cream and was told an additional 1 ounce container was going to be 75 cents. A 10kg commercial quantity of sour cream is about $49. That will produce something like 350 servings. You could honestly cut it down with a bit of milk to make it go further, maybe they do. So its about 11 cents a serving. My meal was $25. As much as I enjoyed my meal, I would enjoy it a lot more with some sour cream. It affects how often I come back. Maybe others feel the same way, maybe not. Maybe Ill sneak in my own next time, stop at the grocery store and buy a tub.
Totally worth your buck! Vegetarian options: They have this option! Food : 4/5 |
Oddly enough, they were out of fried chicken and pork on the day we visited
Fun server, and the chimichanga is amazing. Only feedback I gave was the fish tacos are lukewarm in the middle; they need to be fried longer. Secondly, the guacamole would be so nice if it was clearly fresh rather than blended and squeezed out a bottle. Its clearly watered down, and was more like a green tinted lemon dip. Atmosphere is very teenage-y, but thats just a style thing. Chimichanga, great. Everything else, ok.
I stopped here years ago and the food was excellent, the service was top notch. It was lined out the door. It took awhile to get a table then to get your meal, took time, but the vibe was worth it. This time it was all east Indians running the place. I ordered my meal the lady at the till a young east Indian girl looked annoyed that we took awhile to decide what to eat. Then we ordered and she handed me the debit machine and was hounding over me while I decided on the tip it started at 15% 18%20% for what for making me feel uncomfortable and pressured ? So I gave her a $5 tip and shouldnt have done that. The food was ok but not what it once was. Another business lost to people who dont care about it. .... what a shame.
Good portion for food, taste was okay but nothing special. Have yet to try their fried chicken. Only has a burrito
Cool decoration that is all about this place. nothing about Mexican food! Expensive and poor service! Food
Wonderful food and I will always go here when I am in the area
Staff are not friendly and oder taker was swearing when I walked up.prices have doubled since I first started coming here.
Very cute Mexican restaurant. I love the wallpaper inside and graffiti outside. The food is above average
cool ambience, however the fried chicken was so dry and quite pricy. I am sorry to say that this is not a place I will go back again for fried chicken.
Favourite place to eat in Squamish since forever. Such good food, especially after hiking or swimming
Be sure to stop in when you are in Squamish...and bring you hangry with you! Great food, great service and big portions!
It was one of the best Mexican food I tasted around BC. Chicken was moist my husband and kid loves it and the fries were home made but the Chimichangas is the bomb!!!!
We make this a stop every time we come to the area. We love all the art done to the place the food was amazing and yummy. But when it came the service my wife was asking whats good for the kids whats the trend food for the family even after her telling them she cant see the menu and only gave a why you asking me this question answers the chicken for every question
Large tasty portions
Good food and great atmosphere.. only con is the food is expensive but other than that a great place !
Dope spot with fun tasty food. Cant go wrong here
food was great, but it never came
Came here for a late lunch on our way back from Squamish and the food was great! We got some burritos which were flavourful and huge! The wait was a bit long but worth it! Thanks for a great lunch!
Food was okay, nothing to rave about burrito was very dry, food was pricey. They messed up my order, so I had to wait an extra 15-20 mins for them to make the correct item, everyone was done eating by the time I got my food, quite annoying and ruined the experience.
Quality fried chicken. However, I feel Brownies is still the king. Mag99 is similar to this
Good
We are still talking about our experience a week later; the food was delicious and you have a great mountain view!
Amazing food. Huge portions. Great vibes. Vegetarian options: Bean and falafel options are great Food : 5/5 |
Went in because I was told such great things about this place! But sadly, we were quite disappointed. First of all, the service was absolutely terrible - food took an astronomical amount of time, even though only fries and beef tacos were ordered. People that had ordered well after us, were getting their orders before us and we sat there for nearly 30min, waiting. We were ABOUT to get up to get a refund, and then they finally called our name - it was insane. Secondly, $6+ for the smallest little (authentic style) taco is crazy. Even in Vancouver the dont cost this much, for the size. On the bright side, they taste quite well ..but that sure didnt outweigh the cons of this restaurant. I will probably not return! Do not reccomend.
Delicious! When I m in the area again I will be stopping by for sure
We got the fried chicken tacos ($6.25 each) and the small chicken burrito ($15). The food had complex flavors and good taste however the portions are VERY small for the price. The tacos were mini for being $6.25 a piece, and the burrito was half the size of your average burrito (although advertised as small, it was still smaller than expected for $15!). For being a sort of fast food joint, it took quite a while to get our food and there was barely anyone else in there. The art and vibe is quite cool, funky and artsy. Just wish there was some bang for the buck. I don t regret going to Sunny Chibas, but I probably won t go back as there are other spots in town that are more affordable for the same quality.
Food is good, their pricing is a little bit off though. $19 for a burrito and $4 for a fountain drink I found to be a bit much
Wow. All I can say is wow. The only place you need to eat in Squamish. Everything from top to bottom is absolutely incredible. The portions, the art, the atmosphere, the quality and variety in the food, the list goes on. Ive traveled to Squamish multiple times and I wish I knew about this place sooner. I wont go anywhere else. The prices cant be beaten either. What an absolute gem. Ive eaten Mexican food all over the world, and in Mexico, and this is such an exquisite fusion of Canadian, Mexican, and american. Its unique and different and perfect. Anything off of the menu will blow your mind and if it doesnt, it sucks to be wrong.
The food here is always very good and the portions are huge.
Ordered a 2 piece and one of the pieces was a small wing. >$19 for a very small meal. Disappointing!
Awesome location and great food
Well well well! Please if you go there just go with their name that is sunny chinas chicken, get yourself mexican fried chicken and it d be probably worth it. I chose the beef dip and chicken poutine and naah! It was 90% potatoes!
SAVE YOUR MONEY and AVOID!! Ordered the 3 piece fried chicken and large shrimp burrito. Took 35 minutes to get the food because they were training a new worker... which is fine but the food was ABSOLUTELY TRASH AND UNEATABLE. Fried chicken and fries was super dry; makes Churches and KFC look so much appetizing. And the burrito had NO flavour, was 85% dry uncooked rice, 10% cabbage and 5% shrimp...there was a total of 4 small shrimps in the burrito that was barely wrapped... my 3 other friends also got burritos and they shared the same experience. For 20$ a burrito, I expect better.
The food was good went here in late september with my bf qhen we were camping up at the Chief and the Khalani campgrounds Not a fan of the price Love the decor with the hip hop albums, can remember what albums there was. I do wish I bought stickers as a memory of eating here, was confused but I like the style. Mexican with a twist of fried chicken, order a meal for me and my partner I cant remember I think it was 3 chicken(the spiciest they had) and fries with a medium fountain drink, it was busy that day but it was nice and Sunny out. Next time I will try the Tamales when i come again if im in squamish again! Parking: I believe they have a parking lot outside the restaurant close to the tables outside Kid-friendliness: Saw families there with kids, it was a nice day that time.
Great spot. Food was good. Many of the entrees are large enough for 2 to share IMO. Kids loved the fried chicken and kids quesadilla. I was a little disappointed in the lack of hot sauce & salsa options.
Great food, generous portions. Great place to stop for food after a day of climbing
place for chicken highly recommend. Always best to order ahead since its so busy.
I came to this place because I heard about their chicken on cbc, but I see why there is 20,000+ KFCs! But worth a try, if you re passing through squamish
Such a vibe to walk into this place, guys in the kitchen playing punjabi music while staff outside totally giving a warm and welcoming vibe. Picture worthy place, clean and organized.
Food quality has gone down as has service. We had a terrible experience during the winter dining here and recently decided to give it another chance as we were on the go and close by, and again disappointed by the taste (why does the taco beef taste like it has curry powder :s) and service.
Cool spot but the chicken was dry and bland
good poutine if youre looking for a good lunch-ini, this is it
Pretty busy place , neat atmosphere good sized portions, great food
One of the best places to eat in all of BC, the owner is one of the nicest, most genuine guys you can meet out here and is always looking out for customers. I always look forward to eating here. Food is amazing and fresh.
Somehow managed to forget about my order twice, waited for 45 min but I had other things to do
Big portion, but the contents is very basic
I mean decent chicken but for THAT cost I could go to 24/7 and get the same thing, twice the amount for half the cost.
Gigantic taco salad and burrito. The fish was so good. Fries are great too! If I m in the area again, I ll definitely come back and try the fried chicken
Best food always
Good food at decent prices with fun staff. Easy vibe with local ambience. Parking is minimal, and it can get busy. Its hard to be popular.
Very cool place aesthetically but the food and service was subpar. We had the fried chicken and a couple tacos. They mentioned they were gonna put the chicken sauce on the side but it was tossed in it instead. The food was just better than average. Definitely overpriced. I appreciate the box of tissues at each table. Cool murals and collages are placed throughout the inside and outside of the restaurant. Lots of hip hop and anime references. They had chill reggae music playing at the time. The restaurant is a bit dingy like an old Wendys.
Fries are really good but the fried chicken was not. The batter was too thick and the chicken was flavorless. The fried chicken had the consistency of a cordon bleu. Next time Ill try their Mexican options and skip the fried chicken.
It s a damn shame that some of the best fried chicken BC has to offer is 1.5 hours away from where I live but if you asked me to go right now, i d get up and start the car.
We appreciate the owner s friendliness and customer service. He seems to care greatly about the establishment and patrons. Thanks again for going above and beyond to make our experience a positive one.
I have been coming here since they opened, and before when they were the other place. The owners and staff are very friendly, the food is always top notch, the atmosphere is fun and inviting, I came over from Vancouver Island specifically for Sonny Chibas food this time round.
Fried chicken and chimichanga
Honestly it blows my mind how busy this place can get, considering how sub par everything is. There are far better options in the Squamish area and as much as I wanted to give this place their redemption, I ve been time and time let down each visit. Quite literally getting fast food level quality of food, and fast food level service, yet waiting 20+ minutes and paying sit down restaurant prices. Why ask for a tip if there s no service involved?
Cool place. Great food. Massive portions and delicious. The fried chicken is really good, bot spicy (but their hot sauce is amazing) but great flavour. Will make sure to be hungry every time I pass through Squamish so I have an excuse to eat here.
Very tasty tex mex! Fun decor inside. The woman at the cash was a little aggressive, though.
Awesome chimichanga
Really glad me and my friends chose to eat here on the way back. Amazing proportions and awesome tacos! No photos, ate it too fast.
Always good! Big portions, nice food!
Delicious portions. Very friendly attention.
Super fun, great (unique) vibe! Who ever thought fried chicken plus Mexican food was the way to go? I m not sure but it works. We had tacos and they were delicious! I especially enjoyed the surf and turf taco! The fried. chicken taco and twice baked pork belly tacos were also delish. I probably would not recommend the falafel taco.
From KFC / Taco Bell to Mags 99 to Sunny Chibas, the fried chicken/ Mexican combo tradition continues
We had the tacos (cod, lamb, and beef) and fried chicken and fries. The cod tacos was really delicious. The fries were cooked to perfection.
Very Interesting and creative atmosphere. I loved the Mexican details like the huichol art across the walls and the service table visual contrasting effect, and the random paintings of the iconic Mex culture luchador in a fresh fusion with some sort of galactic/punk + anime retro art. I walked there alone and my experience was a feeling of coziness embraced in an abstract way as I could sit there and have an amazing view, enjoy delicious food and grasp a few flashbacks as I was entertained with their playlist. Their food menu has yummy options that I m sure I d like to try next time. Whenever you feel boredom about entering to the same old franchised shaped boxes to grab simple food you need to stop for having a contrasting experience. It was like the old phrase in my culture: I was looking for iron but I found gold
so disappointed. This place use to have the best tacos when i was younger . The past month i have went there 2 x and ive thrown out my food . The fries and gravy were horrible and the fish taco had many bones in it. Sadly dont reccomend anymore its also outrageously priced .
The fact that the food takes around 20 mins to be ready for you is a sign that its made fresh! I wasnt expecting the burrito to be so big, it took me 2 sittings to eat the whole thing! Super yummy vegan options and the staff are friendly. Would recommend Dietary restrictions: Vegan options available!
It used to be the best spot in the world! Last time I went I did not enjoy the burrito I had. The fried chicken was still good! And the service is pretty fast for how busy it is. Also I have never had an issue finding a table despite the high volume of people inside
The food hear is just amazing.
Food wasn t bad but price is a little steep seeing as you order at the counter then get called up to collect your food when ready. The blonde girl with glasses who was working the counter needs an attitude check. Wasn t the friendliest at all nor helpful when simply asked her preference on items (as it was my first time here). Kind of threw my experience off. The actual atmosphere of the restaurant is cool though with lots of pop culture references and graffiti style artwork.
Everything about Sunny Chibas is pitch-perfect. From the verve that your name is announced with when your order is ready, to the incredible art that dons the walls, it is an experience to savor. The food is exactly what one would hope for when you ve just come off the trail or if you just came down from a higher place. Strongly recommend stopping by if you are lucky enough to be in the area. *could be an amazing wedding venue for those looking for a unique place to tie the knot*
Ive had my eye on this place for 5 or so years now and finally had the opportunity to eat here. Everything was beyond amazing. From the 80s nostalgia graffiti everywhere (outside and in) to the cabbage crunch in my burrito. Nothing but praise for this establishment. Proper portions. (10 & 13 tortillas for burritos) Friendly service. (Staff cared that I was there) Excited ownership. (Made me feel special and valued) Legit menu choices. (Huge variety and necessary standards) My friend and I ordered a large burrito, taco salad and had the chance to sample some fantastic, dry-spiced fried chicken wings. All Star Eats . Highly recommend eating here if you know you want something filling and delicious without giving you any runaround on toppings, flavour, portion or ingredients. Their sweet and spicy hot sauce has made me re-think my opinion of sweet and spicy sauces. Im a concert. Muchos Gracias Aaron and team. This gringo will be back every time Im in Squampton. Top Notch.
Decided to stop for a quick lunch under the Chief on our way by, this just happened to be on the last exit we happened to choose. Our burritos were super fresh and filling and i considered us to have been really lucky to have randomly selected such a jem. And the view was awesome too!
Awesome food zero complaints
Delicious burrito
Cool decorations with a free Pac-Man machine. Service friendly. Food was very average, the chimichanga was good but enchilada was extremely dry as the meat was old. They sell locally made kombucha.
Amazing food and service. Highly recommend trying the chimichanga.
Great food, but slow, always busy, and tables are not always cleaned.
Pork belly tacos.....the best! Al pastor chimichanga was awesome! Portions are huge...took a bit to finish off that chimi! Food : 5/5
Great food. My boyfriend and I regularly make the drive from Vancouver to Squamish solely for this place. Absolutely worth it. Unique menu and decent service as well!
Loved the decor. Service was amazing. Coming from out of town the guy up front asked if he could help with the menu. Food was delicious. Fish tacos had more fish than most restaurants fish and chips. Will definitely be back any time Im in or going through squamish.
The service is really slow, but the food was ok I asked for pastor chimichanga and definitely, it was not pastor not even close.
I love this place so much!! Food is amazing, just wish I had tried it earlier. Every time I ve gone down to Squamish Ive forgotten about it or the parking lot was packed but I did finally drive down just to try it! The inside is like an old video game and it s super cool and has really cool vibes! I usually get the large burrito and it s massive, you do get what you pay for and better yet they don t cheap out on the good stuff in the burritos!
I love the chimichangas
Stopped in for the first time and was highly impressed with the quality and taste of this food. I had the pasta shells and pork belly and it was incredibly delicious! Loved the pickled onion on it and different sauces. Will for sure be coming back again soon!
The food is okay, not authentic, of course! It is a fast food stop, Mexican style with many options. It is roomy and lots of free parking. It is great for outdoor seating when the weather is dry.
Amazing Mexican and fried Chicken Kid-friendliness: Great kids meals Food : 5/5 |
Don t get the chicken or salads. Dry chicken and nasty salad like soup
Fun place to eat on the way through town. Good selection of vegetarian options to choose from.
A local classic for sure. Not a cheap meal but the portions are massive and worth the money. So come hungry and enjoy. Food : 5/5
Anime inspired decor with an arcade machine, the best beef dip of my life, average fries, solid chicken make sure to get it spicy. Poutine is good but not great. Service was rocking. Love this place. Will return. Kid-friendliness: Small town diner vibes. Kids will like this place.
Busy place but fast and good service.Friendly staff. Parking: Free and easy to find a parking spot. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy side door access
Squamish local. This is my favorite spot in Squamish. Casual, good music, view of the chief, massive portions, arcade machine while you wait. And most importantly (don t let the above fool you), exceptional food. This isn t a fast food spot. The building used to be a combo KFC/taco bell back in the day. These guys thought the fried chicken, Mexican combo was genius and took it to another level in the legacy building. Personally I d recommend the taco salad, chimichanga, and spicy fried chicken. All are good, but spicy beef is my go-to protein I do wish they d grill/fry their burritos so they re crispy on the outside. Still worth a 5 star review
the food is not fresh, the meat in my burrito was dry and tasted like a refrigerator, the rice in my burrito was horrible instant rice from a box, my tortilla soup was extremely salty I couldnt even eat it. This has nothing Mexican about it and the food is of very poor quality. Zero recommended, dont throw your money away.
Such a great atmosphere, lots of personality and great food. Free video game for kids made it super fun while waiting for food
Definition of mediocre food. KFC has better fried chicken and the Mexican offerings are ok at best. Cool looking restaurant with friendly staff but it s a restaurant at the end of the day and the food isn t very good
A very nice and. cozy place in.Squamish. Foods are great and lots ofparking. My furst Mexican food and great impression.
This place has great signage. Noticed it first on the way to Whistler and we talked about going to this restaurant all throughout the weekend. Passed by on our way home to Langley. This place has fabulous food. Ordered the chimchanga and its so delicious. Next time you are up for a whistler trip from Vancouver. Dont miss the sign to Sunnys.
Great food, but I could do without the gen-z apathy at the front counter.
Absolutely scrumptious fare in a laid-back and street styled atmosphere. Had the beef dip and it was glorious. Would recommend. Will be returning on my next trip back from the mountains!
Killer beef birria poutine! Taco salads amazing, the fried chicken is up there too! You won t regret it
A great place to stop for bites after a long hard hike in Whistler. We had to wait about 20 min for our food but it was worth the wait Parking: The lot was pretty full when we arrived but we managed to get a good spot. Guess this is to be expected on a Saturday night.
Delicious!
Glad we popped into this creative space. Poutine was on point!
