Delicious fruit and berry filled hand pies. Our store front offers a grab and go selection of freshly baked fruit pies, cookies and tarts as well a large selection of uncooked Take n Bake products from our freezer.

It's a take away bakery and everything is amazing. Butter tarts are the closest to my mom and grandmother's I have ever had, and theirs were a 10! They have a great selection of savory and sweet!
Got a couple apple pocket pies at the Apple Festival. Delicious! Will have to stop by and pick up some sweet and savoury pies next time we're in Squamish.

Extremely delicious pastries. Buy extra! Some for now and some for later. The pastry is so crisp and flaky. We have friends ask us to pick some tarts when we're in the area. I'm getting hungry just thinking of Raspberry pocket pies!
I cannot believe I haven't been to the bakery until now. I feel a loss of 3 years in Squamish not eating these amazing baked goods. The Chicken Pot Pie is probably one of the best I have ever had, I only wish my British grandmother was alive to try it because she'd fully approve. Butter tarts? SO GOOD! You MUST try them and the hand pies. My goodness I'm too excited about this find and look forward to sampling everything because it's all phenomenal!!!
My new favorite place in Squamish and, judging by how busy the place was both times I was in over the course of three days, it is other people's favorite as well. The tourtiere is excellent, as is the spinach quiche. Don't leave without butter tarts.
First time trying the pocket pies from the Farmers market. What is a pocket pie? Think of a strudel that is wrapped up like an envelope with lovely pie stuffing inside. The crust is on the drier side than a all butter crust that is flaky. The filling is about 50% cornstarch slurry filling than the fruit itself. Would have loved to see more fruit! More than 10+ varieties to chose from at $4/ea. If you see it on your way, would recommend if you haven’t tried it before, but it’s not mind blowing good that you need to go out of your way for it.
Ordered several tourtières for a Christmas celebration and they did not disappoint! Rumours has it that the flavours are similar to old school Québec cooking and we couldn’t agree more. Solid 5 stars, order without hesitation as these tourtières are the real deal.

Water absolute Squamish gem. Really good chicken pot pies and the curry chickpea pies are really solid. Apple hand pies are a go to dessert with a bit of ice cream

The best shortbread cookies in the entire world. Everything they make is delicious, but today we drove from New Westminster to Squamish just for them. Amazing as always!
Our favorite place to get that from the bakery pie or pocket pie. First got to know of them from the farmers market.
Hidden gem. Honestly the best pies (and pocket pies) around. The crust is sweet and crispy and delicious (coming from someone who doesn t like pie crust) and the filling is the perfect consistency and not too sweet so you can actually taste the fruit. We usually have this for dessert with guests and everyone loves it.

Living in Squamish, we are limited to options for bakeries but Golden Crust is an excellent choice regardless of the location. We often get the chicken vegetable pies for a quick family meal when we dont have time to cook. They have so much more though and we sometimes indulge in baked goods but try to maintain our discipline (its hard though). All quality and the staff there is super helpful, detailed and clearly passionate about what they do. Highly recommend it!
Everything is wonderful! My favorites are the seasonal glazed cookies and the oatmeal with chocolate chip cookies.
The most delicious fruit pocket pies, made with BC cherries, apples and berries. I remember them from the Whistler Farmers market many years ago and was happy to be able to pick-up some from the main kitchen & storefront to share with the family on our trip to Squamish for the weekend. The owner is very kind too. They also sell frozen take and bake sweet and savoury pies.

Great baked goods but having difficulty ordering via website. The form keeps asking for zip code when all the address info is Canadian. Cant get past it to confirm the order! Seems like the only way to order may be by phone?

Spectacular hand pies. Perfect pastry. The strawberry rhubarb was tart and fruity. We lamented not buying the frozen pies and some savoury ones, too. Will definitely return.

Amazing pie crust! I used think that I made a great pie crust and then I stopped in at Golden crust....I will never attempt to make crust ever again , there is no point. I could never recreate the perfection that they have achieved. So good. A must if you crave baked goods!
They make the best butter tarts this side of the Atlantic Ocean and possibly the other side as well. Picked up a half dozen pecan butter tarts today to satisfy our craving for this treat. We have been fans since tasting the butter tarts at the Farmers Market in Ladner.
