Amazing cafe, awesome menu and great staff who went the extra mile to give great service. The waffle breakfast sandwiches are so fun, and such delicious smoothies (with eco packaging!) We love it.
Delicious! Gluten-free and vegetarian food. There are lots of tasty options and the staff are pretty friendly so you can ask them questions.
We stopped into Festal Cafe after finishing up at the Train Museum with our son, and I was blown away! It’s so hard to find restaurants that cater to specific dietary needs like keto and sugar-free, but this place exceeded all expectations. I had the eggs Benedict with salmon on keto bread—it was absolutely delicious. The roasted cauliflower was perfectly seasoned and mouthwatering. What really stood out was the impeccable service. The staff were attentive, took our orders promptly, checked in regularly, and even offered me a to-go cup for my latte when my son started getting restless. I was so impressed to find they provided a biodegradable, compostable paper cup with no plastic coating—truly sustainability done right. It’s rare to find a restaurant that not only offers healthy, delicious food but also makes sustainability a priority. The attention to detail was exceptional. The dishes were beautifully presented, giving the experience a fine-dining feel while still being casual and relaxed—the perfect balance. And the view of The Chief while we ate was stunning, adding to the charm. I can’t say enough good things about Festal Cafe. It’s a hidden gem, and I’ll be recommending it to everyone heading to or from Squamish or Whistler. If you’re looking for incredible food, thoughtful service, and a focus on sustainability, this is the place to go. Well done, Festal Cafe!
We have loved every meal we’ve had at FESTAL and most recently, ordered the family 4 pack meal and WOW, everything was incredible! Super generous portions, so flavourful, and such quality fresh ingredients. You can tell that so much care and thought went into this menu. The whole family loved the experience and we can’t wait to order again soon for a healthy easy take home dinner! We love FESTAL!!
Absolutely loved that this restaurant is 100% gluten free! However the service and food was mediocre. The chicken tajine was well flavoured and a good portion to price, however the rice was quite dry to the point where it was a bit crunchy…. The braised beef sandwich was very disappoint. For the price it’s very small and didn’t really have any of the toppings listed in the menu. Service was slow and not very coordinated, by the time I received my dish everyone else at the table was already done eating. The chicken waffle sandwich was actually very good and a good portion for the price!
Festal Cafe is my favourite brunch place, every single breakfast they offer on menu is equally delectable and serves as healthy fuel for my day. The staff clearly take pride in the quality of their environment, customer care and fresh delicious menu ingredients and dishes. Best brunch in Squamish!
This place is a fantastic option if you're passing through Squamish—it's definitely become our favorite! The customer service is outstanding, and the location and space are just right. The food is delicious, but if you're after a strong coffee, this might not be the spot for you. I'll try their drip coffee next time. The balance of flavors in the food is amazing.
This place is absolutely STUNNING, and the food is world class. Chef James is a super star. We had our annual work event here at this location, and it wouldn't have been the same anywhere else. The food was curated for us with so much thought and love we were all absolutely elated! Can't recommend this place enough. ❤️ Thank you James and everyone at Festal Cafe in Squamish!
Great place for breakfast/ lunch! Modern, clean, and very friendly staff. It is rare to find an all gluten-free restaurant! Food was delicious!
Gem in Squamish! Best Brunch spot I d had in a while. Gluten-free options 10/10. From food to service, everything was amazing. Looking forward to coming back. Dietary restrictions: So many gluten-free and non-dairy options.
Great place to stop for coffee and breakfast in Squamish! Super friendly staff, great menu and plenty of space
Delicious and plenty of options!! We were so pleased to find a cafe that caters to gluten free travellers. Highly recommend a stop here!!
Vast choice of delicious foods, all gluten free.
This is a great Gluten-free/Paleo place to eat. My eggs were cooked perfectly! The waffles were delicious. They need to work a bit on their pizza crust recipe to make it more crunchy, but it tasted great.
They get it! It s rare to find a place where every dish feels thoughtfully crafted with fresh healthy options. Quality food for people who have specific preferences or restrictions to their diet. Ive been multiple times and the service is always friendly too.
This cafe is a true hidden gem. The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, with plenty of natural light and a relaxed vibe. The food is outstanding, with a diverse menu offering everything gluten free, low carb, sugar free and dairy free. Each dish is packed with flavour, made with fresh ingredients. We had the coffee and strawberry cheesecake smoothie and whilst I was sceptical it was out of this world. Not too sweet but hit the spot just right. Service is friendly, efficient, and attentive, making for an all-around great experience. Best of all, the prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality you get, making it a fantastic value and great spot to stop at.
So first the positive. The people working there are super friendly and are great at catering with people who are celiac! Dont order the beef brisket if you are hungry I dont feel the portion size is worth it for the price you pay. The taste is decent though although I didnt see any of the toppings that were advertised. Second Im not sure why they only fill the water glasses half way. Its weird. Third, I would recommend to the staff to work in timing. It was not busy and all our food came out at different times and I was finished before the last person got their meal.
Best breakfast I ve had in a long time. Had the bullet proof coffee and the Boursin omelette. Way bigger portion than expected so totally worth the price.
Great spot, fresh food, great flavours, friendly staff!
The food is amazing. Had the turkey bacon club, it came on a Belgian waffle and Canadian bacon!
Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. The waffle benny and beef dip are both must-tries. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they really care about their customers. Highly recommend for anyone, especially those with dietary restrictions. Dietary restrictions: Celiac friendly
Great spot! Food was excellent, the staff is extremely friendly and the atmosphere is perfect. A must stop if you are in or passing through Squamish!
Great brunch in Squamish! The girl at the counter was super nice and even gave us a cookie for us to try
Loved the mushroom shawarma. Everyone there was very sweet. Will return.
Avoid if you just want a cup of coffee. Waited 15+ minutes for a an overpriced latte, only to throw it out because they pumped it full of artificial sweetener and made it undrinkable.
LOVE this place, cant believe it took me so long to try it out, but its an instant favorite. The food and smoothies are ridiculously good (both in taste and nutrition), lots of powerpoints for remote workers, beautiful chief views, bright and welcoming. Staff are super lovely. Stoked to have this spot!
Drove from Vancouver to Squamish and dropped by Festal Cafe for breakfast before heading to Mamquash Falls, so glad we did! Cheers to the best pumpkin latte I had so far and the food? delicious! Everything was so fresh and healthy. I cant get enough of the fresh fruit and veggie salad with strawberry vinaigrette. Also, not only do they serve amazing food, but the view from the café is stunning as well!
Fantastic breakfast spot with great food options and mountain views. Lots of healthy options and the portion sizes are perfect.
This venue is truly breathtaking, and the food is top-notch. Chef James is exceptional. We hosted our annual work event here, and it wouldnt have been as special anywhere else. The food was thoughtfully prepared with care, and we were all thrilled! I cant recommend this place highly enough. Thank you, James, and everyone at Festal Cafe in Squamish!
The waffle Benny is cold, the lox and bagel is cold, the salmon is fishy, if you have other option, go for it
We ordered their Thanksgiving dinner and it was absolutley brilliant. So much food, the turkey was perfectly cooked and all the sides were full of flavour. Will be back for every special holiday that Festal is cooking for. Thank you!!!
Scrumptious!!!! Our family came up from the city for Thanksgiving and I had ordered the Turkey Dinner to take home to serve. The Turkey was the best wed ever had - Juicy, tender, and the flavors! - Warm, cozy, inviting . . . I couldnt have paired it better with the day we had - it was so poetic. The seasoning perfectly matched the stunning fall day we had enjoyed as a family at the pumpkin patch out in the valley under a golden sun, with the changing colors of the maple leaves. The dressing for the salad was unforgettable - a tangy vinaigrette with citrus notes that balanced the rich flavors of the greens (Im hoping theyll bottle and sell it at the cafe). The roasted brussel sprouts were also a highlight - robust texture and flavorful. (When I was a kid Id have never thought that Id grow up to say the brussel sprouts were the highlight of the meal!) We fed 7 adults and 2 kids with lots of leftovers.
I ve been here a few times already when passing through Squamish. The food is amazing and everything is gluten free. The staff is friendly and very attentive. They actually provided a bowl of water for my pet which was super nice. I ll be back for sure in future visits to Squamish
The experience was magnificent, the girl who served was super attentive, originally from Chile, and took great care of us. Very good quality food, totally gluten free.
The food was great!
Dietary restrictions: Great place for gluten free Food
Such a great place! The owner is so friendly. I m a celiac, and I find it hard to find good GF options that are also tasty. Highly recommend!
We were at Festal for a private event. The chef selected menu paired perfectly with the theme for our evening. The food was perfectly prepared and scrumptiously yummy. The staff were so friendly and kind. We tried to go back for lunch a few days later, but unfortunately for us, it was their day off. I would highly recommend trying this unique cafe.
Surprisingly, 5 stars given the location and brand new restaurant I had their chicken, carmelized onion and mushroom stuffed omelette covered in a light white sauce, with squash hash and bacon. It was amazing - large portion, lots of flavour. They can cook. Prices are a bit higher than other quick serve restaurants in Squamish, but worth it given the quality.
We stopped in for a late lunch after biking and (maybe I was particularly hungry but) I think their chicken sandwich was the best Ive ever had. Holy cow. Coffee was great too. Worth the price for sure.
My daughter told me that the pasta was salty, so I took a bite, but it was like eating salt because it was too salty. I was angry because it was salty and too salty. The food was healthy, but the waffle was hard and the bacon was burnt, and the casher moved the salad vegetables with his bare hands, took the vegetables out with his bare hands on the left side of the counter, plate set in the direction of the kitchen, and sprinkled the sauce. The vegetables were not fresh, the sweet potatoes were cold, and the poached eggs were hard to understand. I dont understand why the rating is 4.8 and its expensive compared to poor food.
Lovely cafe for brunch! Stopped while on the way to whistler. Chicken waffles are good
We waited 30 minutes for a standard 2 eggs and bacon, which cost 19.50 btw (57 after tax and tip for 2 people). When the food finally arrived 35 minutes later, there was no toast included with the meal and it was the tiniest helping that would ve taken me 10 minutes to cook at home for 1/4 of the price. No water offered, no hot sauce, no salt and pepper. The hash was turnips and sweet potatoes. My boyfriend s omelette was just an omelette stuffed to the brim with bland chicken. The weirdest brunch place I ve ever eaten at. What an absolute waste of time. If you re expecting bacon you ll get 1 piece, if it even amounts to that. It s chewy, weirdly cooked and my bf who can eat ANYTHING, couldn t eat the bacon.
Great location downtown Squamish, we ordered eggs Benny and turkey club on waffle The food was great, fresh and good flavours. Was impressed with the service and food Came back next morning for coffee and muffin. Ordered flat whites from the menu and blueberry muffin. Disappointingly the coffees took about 15 minutes to arrive and the muffin was heated when requested as-is. The coffee had good flavour but was coffee and milk, definitely not close to steamed or a latte/ flat white quality. The muffin was warm on the outside but ice cold on the inside not a great texture. The host replaced it but the new muffin was still ice cold which I guess is due to the nature of the ingredients. I can t say I ve ever wanted a refrigerated muffin. We were looking forward to a local cafe that served nice food and coffees but they really need to hire/train a barista and consider how to serve baked goods at room temp not refrigerated
We re very happy to have a place to eat in town that s celiac- friendly! Delicious food and friendly staff
Food is outstanding, so delicious. Service is fantastic and the restaurant is clean and very well cared for.
This was one of the best breakfasts Ive had in recent memory. The meal was so delicious, I started writing this before I even finished it. The Waffles Benny was refreshing, and had many different fresh, unique flavors. Definitely make a stop here if youre visiting Squamish!
Amazing! I feel like in Europe. The goodies are delicious, not too sweet at all. The staff is super nice. They brought us the order to our table together with water. The place is nice and clean. Perfect
That s my favorite place either to have a nourishing breakfast or to have a nice and mindful dessert. The service is top notch, the menu is rich . I like that they have unsweetened coconut milk for drinks.
Great atmosphere - Amazing food ! You must order your food at the front of the cafe but other than that the food and staff are amazing ! Food
We worked with Festal and their event coordinator Ivana on a corporate luncheon recently and have nothing but good things to say about the experience. Ivana was responsive, the food was delicious, and there was not a single error with our catering order for 28. We have our next event in August planned with Festal and wil continue to utilize them with our catering needs! Thankful that there is a restuarant in town that makes this part of our events easy and delicious!
Highly recommend the smoked pulled chicken and boursin omelette and the smoked paprika shakshuka. Friendly staff. Great view of the Chief from the patio!
Dietary restrictions: I have celiac disease and this restaurant was amazing! Loved my eggs Bennie and my kids loved the pancakes and wanted more. Thank you! We will be back! Food
We visited with a celiac diner, Festal was super welcoming and friendly - and really great brunch menu with things you don t normally find gluten-free. Food and staff were great - will definitely be back!
The food was colourful and delicious. Great presentation. We had a table outside with a great view of the Chief. Entire family loved it.
Great little gem in Squamish. Amazing food and experience. You will not regret stopping here for a bite. We had check & waffles, burger, Squamish rancheros, avocado toast on focaccia. Everything was delicious and tastes super fresh!! Gluten free kitchen safe for celiacs.
We recently used Festal Cafe to cater a baby naming brunch for 30 people. Both Ivana and Jason were a pleasure to work with. The food was delicious and presentation was outstanding. My daughter is celiac so we were thrilled to find a caterer that fully understood her allergy and provided all foods gluten free and amazing. Would highly recommend visiting their restaurant.
Took a while to come but the Quinoa Oatmeal was delicious! (Ordered it nut free too)
The best food in town in my opinion. I don t eat out a lot as i prefer healthy home made food, but if I could I would eat here everyday. I value the quality of the product, nutritional facts, representation and customer service. All these factors meet in one place. So happy we have this place in Squamish. Good job guys.
Such a great spot for food! Pricing was reasonable. Portions were good. Service was awesome. We had an egg allergy and the server without hesitation offered a substitution without extra charge. Food was loval, tasty and fresh. The space is bright and cozy. Highly recommend this place! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, dairy free options
Elegant Friendly Delicious Food : 5/5
Food was great (I got the shakshuka), nice employees, cool atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.
Amazing food and atmosphere!
I recently had an excellent brunch experience at Festel Cafe in Squamish with a group of friends. I ordered their Eggs Benedict, which was simply delicious. The hollandaise sauce was perfectly creamy, and the eggs were cooked to perfection with runny yolks. Paired with a latte, it made for a delightful morning treat. The ambiance at Festel Cafe was cozy and inviting, with a charming decor that added to the overall experience. The service was friendly and attentive, making sure our group of seven had everything we needed. Overall, Festel Cafe provided a fantastic brunch experience with top-notch food, great service, and a warm atmosphere. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a wonderful meal in Squamish.
lemon pound cake and donuts were cold. Like came from a fridge kind of cold drinks and cafe vibe was good though and the service
It was one of the finest experience. Food at festal is organic and vegan. If you are in squeamish and you want to try good brunch definitely try this place.
This place is amazing! Especially for anyone with allergies. Food tastes fantastic and there are loads of gf/df options. Blown away! Staff are lovely!
An absolute Gem! My partner is celiac and feels safe with an abundant options. Thanks for offering tasty food and considers people s food allergies. We need more places like this.
Hidden Gem, needs a-bit more signage, otherwise we would have spent the whole holiday eating here - Best food in Squamish hands down !!! Healthy clean fresh food, Dairy free options / gluten free options / Vegan friendly
Amazing food with delicious ingredients leaving you feeling energized, satisfied and happy! Great service from people who truly care about their community. Thank you
Best place for me as a celiac. I m in paleo, keto, dairy free, gluten free heaven It s unassuming from the street, but everything inside is crazy delicious and the view of the chief is incredible. There is parking in the back which is easy- that deterred me for a while but once I figured it out it s a piece of cake. Great for breakfast or lunch. Their baked goods are guilt free indulgences. For the quality of their ingredients the price is very reasonable! Dietary restrictions: Celiac, gluten free dairy free paleo
We came here because my wife has gluten restrictions. We all ended up getting the turkey bacon club and a delicious salad. This place was great, food was delicious and service was fast. Highly recommend!! Dietary restrictions: All kinds of options
The food and service were espectacular, it also had really quick service which helped to continue on with the tour. Great atmosphere throughout. Healthy, delicious and original plates
I had gone to Sea to Sky Gondola and I came across the Festal Cafe in Squamish. I really loved their food and a great ambience. The portion size was really good and the ingredients used looked high quality. I would highly recommend people to go there and enjoy their food. Vegetarian options: Yes plenty Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free, Dairy free, Keto and Paleo Kid-friendliness: Gluten-free, Dairy free, Keto and Paleo
What a great place. Fantastic prices for the absolute quality you get. I was so happy to dig into this pesto pasta. It was so delicious that I was half finished before I thought to take a photo for the review. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There is also an impressive bakery section. Dietary restrictions: Everything is gluten free. Most items are dairy free. Many keto and vegan options.
Beautiful location with variety of dishes. They have good range of options for Gluten and Dairy free diet.
Such good food and friendly to all diets - vegan, gluten free!
Very nice staff and food and great for people that like to eat healthier or have food allergies. Vegetarian options: Lots of options
The food is delicious! And the prices are fair for what a beautiful plate you get. Service is kind and answers all your questions definitely recommend for those who have food sensitivities
Amazing, perfectly cooked dish. Very nice plating. Everything was so fresh, light and tasty! Couldnt even tell the waffle was gluten free, the hash was a mix of root veg and the dairy free holidase did not disappoint! Also, very nice setting and emasculate bathrooms with plants and fresh cut flowers. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, dairy free, Paleo, keto Parking: around the corner
Very tasty shukshuka with a great view!
My sister was very excited to try Festal Cafe, everything is GF, most things are DF and everything can be vegan or vegetarian upon request. Her husband had the spicy chicken and waffle sandwich and she had the beef burger. The coleslaw on the burger and sandwich was super tasty! She liked it better than the salad - side salad was kind of bland. The sandwiches were yummy and filling! She loved the variety of dietary restrictions or lifestyles. My sister has celiacs disease and is always very cautious when eating out but she felt very safe and comfortable here. Dietary restrictions: Good for celiacs disease and other dietary restrictions Wheelchair accessibility: Space was good for wheelchairs but I didn t notice an accessible entrance door.
So happy to have found Festival! Great great menus! So healthy and delicious and very friendly staff. Great for sit in or take out. Highly recommend!
10/10 experience! They were so helpful and completely met my many food restrictions.
Amazing food and staff! I am so happy with everything that I tried. My personal favourites are - spicy chicken waffles, Festal foragers flatbread, butter chicken, key lime and strawberry cheesecake! Soooo good :) the restaurant itself is so bright and inviting.
Great ambience, amazing staff and delicious food Dietary restrictions: 100% gluten free Food : 5/5 |
We had a dinner party where two guests were celiac. Given that Festal is one of the few restaurants that can accommodate in Squamish, we were keen to order a few of their flatbreads to have options for all guests. The owner (Jason) went out of his way, cooking the items after the restaurant had closed AND, delivering them to our home. If I could give 10 stars, I would! Thank-you so much! Dietary restrictions: No gluten on site. Perfect menu for anyone with Celiac disease.
This place is unbelievable!!! Never seen anything like this, REAL gluten free restaurant and clean ingredients! So tastfull and innovative you want to come back everytime to try everything!! Plus amazing view, light and nice environment!! It would be me local place
Really yummy food! Breakfast portion sizes were a little small. The lox and cream cheese was super! Brought 4 non- gluten free people and they all loved it too. 100% gluten free - could not recommend it enough for Celiacs!
My favourite place to eat in Squamish! The food here is absolutely beautiful and tastes just as good as it looks. The staff are lovely and I was blown away by the amount of options for gluten and dairy free people.
I m not gluten free but Festal Cafe has become our new favourite place in Squamish. Really flavourful food, quick service, bright open space and welcoming staff. Menu changes regularly and they use local food producers!
They don t know how to make cappuccino s. Make sure to specify you would not like it in a 12 or 16oz cup if you dine in. Food was quite good though! Beautiful views
One of the best steak meal I have ever had. Simple perfection. I ll be back over and over and over.
Absolutely loved my visit to Festal Café! The Butternut Lasagna was hearty and flavorful, and the Apple Crumble smoothie tasted just like dessert in a glass - but way healthier. Its so refreshing to find a spot that nails the healthy-eats brief with such tasty options. Big fan of their wholesome approach and the cozy vibe as well, their commitment to quality, local ingredients really shines through. Festal has quickly become my go to lunch and dinner spot when I visit town, I will definitely be back!
The eggs and chipotle hash bowl was so fresh and delicious! Cant wait to have everything on the menu!
The food was great and the service was just as good. My wife is celiac and they were able to accommodate with a great selection of menu and baked items that are unique to their cafe. It was our first time there but we will be returning. Thank you!
I did my very best to avoid this place like the plague. I believe in eating quality food, supporting local (especially a new business here in Squamish) and I knew that this place had it dialed. Unfortunately for me, I am right beside this cafe and being a new business owner myself, I knew that if I had a taste - i would be hooked and it would eat into any profit (pun intended) daily. So today the owner of Festal Cafe comes into my store, Bluebird and gifts me a Turkey Bacon waffle sammy w/side of salad. I knew I should of just thrown it in the trash and keep fearing the worst. Well, I was right - the sandwich was fantastic. Ill be thinking about that thing all day. Absolutely delicious! Its gonna put me in the broke house....thanks a lot Festal Cafe. See you soon.
waffle sandwiches and caesar salads(both regular and dairy free) were SO GOOD, best gf sandwich weve ever had!! Dietary restrictions: gluten free !! dairy free
My absolute favourite restaurant! I have celiac disease and its so nice to go to a restaurant that is 100% gluten free and safe to eat at :) All the food is delicious and if youre not gluten free, you wont taste the difference!
So my friend and I grabbed some drinks here on the way out of town, and this is solely based on their espresso mochas. It was rather disgusting. And the more we drank at the worst it got. It just tasted kind of like water, ovaltine, liquid heated alternative liquid which we couldnt figure out what the taste was. It was pasty, chalky, tasted nothing like chocolate or espresso whatsoever. And they used a blender. It was very bizarre its not worth a penny. But theres a lot of other stuff on the menu which I guess you should try cuz the food might be better. However as I left I did see the chefs in the back making waffles for the next day for the chicken and waffles. Which is unsettling because why are you making that the previous day, that should never be like that it should always be fresh.
Chicken waffle sandwich was amazing but not a hint of spice but I can handle fire soo
When in Squamish, it s a must. Only a few months in operation and it is as if Festal Cafe has been a staple here for a minute. 100% would recommend to any tourist or city dweller, but especially those with food sensitivities or limitations.
Amazing food! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free Food : 5/5
Im so happy that I can finally eat somewhere around town and not worry about whats on my plate! Dietary restrictions: Whether you cant tolerate dairy, if youre celiac, or even if vegetable oils cause you inflammation, I highly recommend eating at festal because you know whatever youre going to consume, your body is going to love!
The food was delicious. The ingredients were fresh and naturally gluten free. I look forward to stopping in again soon.
Delicious food Squamish needs more spots like this.
This place is perfect. Healthy, delicious, filling and reasonably priced. The wide range of options can accommodate anyone, and the flavors are truly on point. The waffle was so fluffy yet gf/df/paleo. The zucchini pasta was SO GOOD. Get the alfredo with pesto chicken- also df/gf. My husband doesn t have dietary restrictions and loved it. Go here!
It is so great to walk into Festal with a 12 year old celiac family member & be completely comfortable & stress free. No gluten free/celiac safe questions or concerns of cross contamination. AND there are plenty of reasonably priced meal & dessert options! Now going out for a healthy family meal is totally doable in Squamish!
Food was incredible. I was sceptical about the keto modification as they are usually dry and dense but the spicy chicken and waffles were delicious. Service was great and efficient and we were able to be in and out over lunch hour. Will be back for sure!
Visited this cafe for the first time today. The lady working there was very rude, did not greet us, just looked my family up and down. Latte was ok, muffin was delicious but overall did not feel welcomed there. With all the other great family friendly cafes in squamish, we will not be returning.
Our best restaurant experience ever! Our family follows gluten free and AIP diets and we are accustomed to making better tasting food at home than any restaurant can serve us. Well, not so now that Festal is in town. We went for a celebratory dinner last week and we all found items on the menu that met our needs. The food wasnt just safe but spectacularly flavourful and the service impeccable. We look forward to eating here again. Dietary restrictions: Meal options that were (AIP) auto-immune protocol friendly. Kid-friendliness: cafe style eating means less sitting around for squirmy kids.
What a treat! This is delicious and beautiful food. The staff is lovely. I highly recommend if you like great food! Squamish needs a place like this Vegetarian options: Did try
The food was amazing. I had the strawberry cheesecake smoothie which was really good. The staff was really friendly, especially Sukhreet, who was serving me. Will definitely come back.
Just visited for the first time and the food was incredible. Healthy, flavourful, and made from the heart. Will definitely be back!
They advertise their be glutten free restaurant but they are NOT only have glutten free options. Celiac poeple don t go there as there is cross contamination which will make you sick. Definitely should be more clear about their menu.
I went in for an afternoon latte and couldn t resist the site of the amazing menu and options I would have to go to the big city to find. I was blown away at the tastiest lunch and to have the gluten free paleo option was fabulous. I ll be back. The latte was incredible too! Sunny cozy corner table and hip music playing. I ll be back. Thanks Festal. Oh and a perfect view of the Chief!! P.S. easy parking under the shaded area around the side too. Easy.
What a great addition to Squamish. Super food! Super location and fantastic ambience! Dietary restrictions: Very good options for gluten free!
Terrific breakfast and I really appreciate their vegan menu accommodations.
One of Squamish s best new restaurants! Even if you re not looking for gluten free food, you will enjoy their food. We ve quickly become regulars because we keep wanting to come back!
Second time at Festal. Today my wife and I both enjoyed our lunch selections, mine the soup of the day and hers, Broccoli and Cauliflower salad. They were both outstanding. The Mushroom soup came with cassava bread which was so good. Not usually a gluten-free fan but Festal s offerings are so good you d never know it s gluten-free!
Sooooo Good! The restaurant is beautiful bright and airy. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly. I highly recommend this beautiful cafe Dietary restrictions: GF Veggie Paleo keto sooo many options Kid-friendliness: My kiddo is a very picky eater ASD and he loved the banana pancakes and calm atmosphere
Amazing food. We visited here last weekend and had very good experiences here. The portion is good and I love how they create different gluten free dishes. I will definitely come back here.
Beautiful space, nice staff and celiac friendly which is pretty incredible. Exactly what Squamish needed. Tip- try their chocolate muffin. It s literally the most moist delicious dessert I ve had since realizing I m celiac. Dietary restrictions: Celiac friendly
Great new cafe in squamish! The food is healthy and delicious. Recommend :)
A beautiful calm atmosphere and the best americano Ive ever had.
So thankful for this new addition to town! I can finally take my gluten free/dairy free child out stress-free for guaranteed delicious and nutritious meals while also enjoying them myself! Such a great selection. Dietary restrictions: All items are gluten free, most are dairy free and adjustments can be requested. End result is yummy.
Unique ideas. Really (Non Gimmicky) healthy food and amazing location. This restaurant is everything. I tried out their chicken waffles and carrot cake but would love to try out the entire menu eventually. The staff can also customize the ingredients to keep it more inclusive to different dietary preferences. All in all 10/10 experience.
It was my first time to Squamish and Festal Cafe was the perfect choice for was a delicious brunch :) In the heart of the city and with a lovely ambience, great menu with attention to detail especially keeping the health plus taste awesome combination, it was truly a delight..I tried the Key Lime Smoothie and the Creamy Alfredo with Pan Seared Salmon..Instant love ..Highly recommended and looking forward to try the other unique options on the menu soon..One more WOW factor being the distinct varieties and the customization to make your stomach soul happy including the incredible customer service as well as the overall experience
The spicy chicken and waffles were really tasty. We went when it was sunny out and we could see the mountains from our seats near the window. Highly recommend stopping by for great food and great vibes (:
This place is a perfectly tranquil and tasty little spot for a study sesh or an afternoon bite. Great coffee, great food (all gluten-free!), both lunch and dinner (open till 8). Working my way through the menu but the tempeh burger and lasagna are my favorite so far! Pasta portions are quite large and filling! Try the zucchini noodles! Gets lots of light in the morning. Bring your sunglasses! Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggie options. Vegan is harder though. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free EVERYTHING
Really delicious! I had the strawberry cheesecake smoothie, yum! We tried the chocolate chip cookie and the breakfast hash - both super delicious. Service was fantastic and the restaurant was clean and bright - very inviting. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair parking under cover nearby, ramps and a flat roll to the front door of the cafe, lots of room inside to move freely and sit at a table comfortably.
The best of both worlds! You want healthy and delicious food.. this is the place! Very nice atmosphere and decor too! Dietary restrictions: Gluten frew
Generally pleasant atmosphere and front staff service, however the management team needs to sort some things out... 1) food took over an hour to get served 2) had to follow up multiple times to see if they were making it. By the time I got my food, the place was full of people who arrived after and almost everyone was served before me 3) food was missing ingredients (hollandaise on eggs Benny) 4) bacon was undercooked. This place has a good menu and potential to be a great spot here in Squamish but they need to figure out their processes another person in a similar position never received their meal (while the rest of the table did) and just had to ask for a refund
So far, SOOO good. Ive been agonizing for a place that does not only healthy, wholesome and gluten-free meals but also food using healthy fats (no corn, vegetable, trans fats). Anyway - yay - its finally arrived in Squamish. Hubby and I went there a couple of times for breakfast, lunch and dinner already. Its been a great place to stop by on the weekends for a healthy breakfast - I really enjoyed by breakfast hash with the guac and ricotta on the side - husband had the Eggs Benny. Chicken Waffles were particularly filling, and surprisingly, so was the Butternut Squash Lasagne. Lastly - theyve opened up for weekday dinners now - which I imagine will be a lifesaver for some wholesome dinners and takeouts when were on our way back home from work. We had the Quarter Chicken Dinner which was great! Vegetarian options: Lots of Veggie options and options to add protein if desired Dietary restrictions: SO good for Paleo, Gluten-free and add-on options to make it Keto. A lot of the choices came as paleo-friendly as standard.
Food and service amazing
The lattes so far have been ok, still pretty good BUT THE FOOD. we went for breakfast on the weekend and it was absolutely perfect. Healthy and filling. What I appreciate about this place is the plethora of gluten free and healthier options. The chocolate muffin was great as well. Theyre new, so one thing they could improve would be getting creamer containers where the sugar is for coffee and tea :) Dietary restrictions: Its a Paleo Cafe! I think everything is gluten free or uses alternative flour, lots of sugar alternatives like monk fruit and stevia are used. Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu with items for $5
Location, gluten free food and service- everything is top notch. My kid enjoyed his meal (chickpea pasta) which otherwise he would not try at home, haha! Great sugar free desserts as well that you ll surely enjoy.
Amazing staff, service, tasty food. Interiors of Festal is tastefully done, bright and inviting. Everything served at Festal cafe is healthy and nutritious yet so delicious. Ingredients consists of wholesome foods and healthy fats. Love this place
My family had a great family meal in Festal Cafe! I thought this place is not gonna have any meat or poultry but I was wrong! All of their menu is based on gluten-free and good quality of oil, such as avocado and olive oil. We had Beef burger, Turkey waffle sandwich and Alfredo pasta. All of them were delicious! The burger patty was juicy. IT IS a HEALTH YUMMY BURGER! Alfredo pasta with zucchini noodles was also beyond expectation. I will definitely go back to Festal!
I highly recommend trying this place. The food is fantastic. Great variety of entrees - meat, fish, pastas, etc and delicious bakery desserts. Loved the lasagna. They use healthy ingredients, high quality meats, and monk fruit sweetened desserts. And oh yeah- the WHOLE place is gluten free. Dietary restrictions: Everything is gluten free, and lots of dishes are also dairy free. Vegan options as well, but they have lots of meat also.
Great selection of food including many allergen free options, friendly efficient staff, clean & bright restaurant with great views of the Chief. Eggs & chipotle hash very tasty, fresh & not too heavy. Coffee good too. Dietary restrictions: Gluten, dairy & nut free options Parking: Parking available beside restaurant under the apartment building.
Food was so good this was the best picture I could afford
Amazing food!
Great place, awesome coffee and perfect customer service.
We were lucky enough to experience the soft opening Christmas dinners offered through Festal this year, and oh my, it has us very excited to experience the full menu. The turkey was done to perfection and the side dishes were plentiful portions and the perfect homey compliment. Can t wait to come experience the cafe soon and support the caring team behind the scenes Dietary restrictions: Caters to paleo and gluten free diets to make an inclusive menu for all families.
Had an amazing opportunity to do a menu tasting this weekend and am stoked for this place to open to the public very soon. The food is incredibly delicious and made with wholesome and clean ingredients that cater to all kinds of dietary restrictions. A must try is the chicken and waffle sandwich. Many of their tasty treats are also GF, SF, Raw etc. They offer plug ins at every table for a nice working space away from home. A great addition to Squamishs food and Cafe scene with friendly local owners. Dietary restrictions: gf, sf, raw, vegan, paleo Kid-friendliness: They offer a kid menu that is affordable.
Chickpea pesto pasta and the lasagna were amazing! Well done!
Delicious food with tons of options on the menu. Allergens are really well labelled. Breakfast menu and lunch menu both look amazing ! Prices are fair - It was opening day, busy, straight at lunch and staff were lovely + food came out quickly. I am beyond stoked to finally have 100% safe GF food for Celiacs in Squamish !
Was blown away by this spot. The food and service was exceptional, even though it was their opening day. Highly recommend the eggs and chipotle hash - it was perfect. Legit the best poached eggs I ve ever had. And they have four kinds of bullet proof coffee too. I ve been dreaming about somewhere offering just one but this is awesome! Grateful to have this spot in Squamish and excited to go back. Vegetarian options: Tons of options Dietary restrictions: Endless number of vegetarian, keto and paleo options.
So yummy!
