Lunch spot - Groovy apéro Natural wine Sandwiches Coffees
What a cute little sandwich shop! We were recommended the meat Sando and it did not disappoint! Quick food stop on our way to whistler. I hope in the future they can add some more Cold drink options to their menu.
Great sandwiches. The bread is not overwhelming so the ingredients really standout. The deli was super flavourful, the Italian was more fresh tasting. Big recommend.
Best sub in BC. Hands down. I would drive 1.5 hours to have these sandwiches again. We tried the meat and the veggie sandwich both 10/10. Wish Vancouver had a place this good. Next time I’d would like to try the deli sandwich which was sold out when we got there. Highly recommend.🫶
Seriously, if you you’re looking for the best sandos in the Sea-to-Sky area, look no further. The Buvette has it all, imported wine, craft beers, insane coffee and even the cutesy little boutique. The design of this place is very cutesy. Everything little details is picture worthy! Sara and Constance, the two owners created this amazing restaurant that makes you feel like you’re in cool vibey coffee /apero spot back in Montreal. Lovely gals to meet !
2024 Eats: BC #9, Sandwich #1; originally planned on having lunch at Howe Sound, but their kitchen was down/having issues. Had found The Buvette from browsing on Google Maps and the food pics and reviews looked good! We ordered the meat sando $16 to share. The sandwich was a bit smaller than expected (compared to other pics), and since I couldn't/didn't see the sandwich get made I couldn't shake the review I read of someone stating they felt these were pre-made and not fresh. Overall it was tasty and I particularly enjoyed the cheese and arugula. While it didn't look/seem big, it was pretty substantial. Only other thing to note is that when paying here tax was higher than the all the other places I paid in the rest of BC. Maybe federal was baked into the other prices but here they add both federal and provincial after the fact
Great service, spacious area with outdoor seating. Our favorite was the meat sando. Very fresh ingredients
went for sandwiches and coffee after a hike. the veggie sandwich was one of the best i’ve ever had. meat one was good but even if you aren’t veg i’d recommend the veggie one. vibes were cool. could see it as a good place for wine too
Loved this spot for a quick bite and glass of wine! Note you have to order food to get a glass of wine due to permitting but you'll be more than happy with the options. Coffee and sandwiches during the day then appetizer / share plates at night. The tomatillo pickles were off the charts! Cute space, great food/wine and friendly service. Definitely on the up and up here...check'm out!
Great little Sando shop! Will be back!
Really wanted to like this place, but waiting 40 minutes to take away one sandwhich is disappointing. Coupled by the fact that I kept on hearing the employees complain about other customers not tipping, the service was just not great. Was the sandwich good? Yes it was, but this visit was very disappointing.
Sandwiches actually WERE the best I ever had in Squamish... but $20/sandwich after tax and tip... Is that what a good sandwich goes for these days? If it is, then this IS the place to go Food
Best sandwiches in town! Great views of Chief, cute spot with solid veggie options.
A great discovery in Squamish! The perfect place to have a good coffee and a sandwich to take away before setting off on an adventure, or to treat yourself to a little aperitif break after a day outdoors. The welcome is warm, and the products are of very good quality. I fell in love with the Vegi Sando sandwich, fresh and tasty, and the Whipped Feta Dip, absolutely delicious! A must stop, whether you are in the area or not :)
Veggie sando was amazing! And the pickled tomatillos with dill ricotta and crackers, perfect late lunch! Will add this to my regulars when in the Whistler/Squamish area
Grabbed coffee with my girls friends yesterday and the service was amazing! Will be coming back soon. Also, love the retro vibes in there!
Nice place
Great sandwich but special sauce way too hot. Ate half to start but next morning sauce made sandwiches inedible.
Can t say enough good things about this place. Squamish was in need of something like this. The sandos are jam packed and they have the best natural wine list in town.
Great sandos. Baguettes were crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Lovely staff.
Incredible sandwiches, good coffee and a lovely patio. If only they had proper coffee cops instead of single use, this place would be the full package.
This place is bomb. Sandos are loaded, coffee is quality, vibe with music and industrial materials are lovely. I do recommend!
great service, very clean, tasty sandwiches Vegetarian options: vegetarian and vegan sandwich Food : 5/5 |
SO delicious and cute. Only weird thing was that they dont have a garbage can and my friends and i just had to keep putting our garbage directly into the servers hands. Which felt wrong. Vegetarian options: Veg sando was outstanding, just the right spicy
Lovely wine bar with delicious sandwiches and great service. Perfect spot to chill with friends or relatives in Squamish.
Love this place!
Vegetarian options: 2 types of veggies sandwiches Non dairy options Parking: Street parking
Wow, really incredible sandwich, Will 100% be coming back when I pass through squamish !! Food
What really surprised me was the drink selection. Where do they import those Italian non alcoholic bitter aperitifs? So good.
Great little cafe that has excellent sandwiches!
Really friendly and helpful staff ! I got the vegetarian sandwich and it was delicious.
Amazing food and setting!! really fresh, quality ingredients, will definitely be back!
Amazing spot for both lunch and dinner. Good food, drinks, music and warm service. I recommend the vegetarian sando! Sarah and Constance are kind and welcoming.
This is the best chill spot in Squamish! The coffee is excellent and the sandwiches are delicious with a great mix of flavour. The ambiance is welcoming and the staff are such heartwarming people. I will never miss a chance to pass by when Im around. Food
Incredible flavours, amazing wine, good vibes. A tad pricy but worth it! Thank you so much for considering vegan and vegetarian diets.
Love the sandwiches, the simplicity of the menu, and the interiors. On the pricier side for sandwiches but I think it s worth it! Look at that stack of cold cuts! Food : 5/5
The sandwiches here are unreal !!! Highly recommend !
Best sandwich Ive had all year!! Perfect account of spice, fresh, delicious!
A gem in Squamish! The atmosphere, food and wine selection is incredible. A simple, efficient and friendly atmosphere and concept. I highly recommend.
Such a cute place to stop for lunch! They have some of the most delicious Italian sandwiches I ve ever had. They also have a vegan option. Will definitely be going again!
Great spot
Looking for a spot where you can dress cute, enjoy good music, and indulge in delicious small plates with a great selection of wines? Look no further than The Buvette! This place has the perfect vibe for a night out with friends or a cozy date. The music sets the mood just right, and the food is simply amazing. Whether youre a wine enthusiast or just looking for a great place to hang out, The Buvette wont disappoint! :)
Delicious coffee and sandwiches . Lovely baristas . Definitely worth a visit .
I had an awesome sandwich served by delightful staff, very friendly and a great playlist!
Absolute delight, I dearly hope this place becomes a Squamish institution. We will be returning every time were in town.
Great coffee! I ll be back to try some food soon. Squamish needs more of this.
Great spot for sunbathing and eat a delicious snack! The location is on a quiet street so it makes it kid friendly. Food
Was super excited when I heard about this place, but didn t hit the mark. The decor is very cold and sterile and there isn t much of an atmosphere.
Amazing spot
So groovy and so delish. Love
I was hoping this could be my go-to lunch spot, but it was immediately disappointed by the limited selection of sandwiches (choice of 3), followed by the shocking sticker price ($16 for the meat one). I still held out for what surely would be an immaculate presentation with a plethora of sides & garnish. The plate arrived with a sandwich wrapped in wax paper, cut in half. No garnish, no chips, no nothing. Then, when I took a bite, my teeth recoiled from the cold, refrigerated sandwich, which I nearly spat out. Oh, wait, this is not a freshly made sandwich after all - it s a pre-made, super chilled sandwich. The pesto butter making bread super soggy. I m quite surprised at the good reviews this place has gotten, so maybe my expectation of a lunch sandwich is very different to the crowd that tends to visit this establishment. First and last visit, I m afraid. I ll go back to the places that provide real value for money.
Amazing place to grab a sandwich to go at lunch time or enjoy the beautiful space at night with curated food and wine. Fave place in Squamish!
Love this new discovery! Great vibe and the owners are super friendly
Fancy Wine? Don t look any further. My go to spot to eat in or take out with a great bottle! Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and vegan options too!
Natural wine, good music, good vibe, good food. I really recommend if you are in the area! You can also buy bottle of natural wine to go. Really nice concept!
A little bit of Montreal in Squamish. I love it. The food is really good, but I would love to have one or two options that are a bit larger in case someone in the group is very hungry. Food
Styling new sandwich shop and wine bar Meat Sandwich was nice and fresh, quality salamis and fresh mozzarella. Only cold foods on the menu but a good selection of appies, olives, charcuterie etc. Will be coming back for coffee or wine at night. It would be great to see some small cold desserts like mini cheesecakes. The vibe and music was what you d expect from a city cafe but the hard metal diner style tables and chairs could be softened with some comfy seating available making it a bit more social and loungy and less dinery
Sandwiches and coffee are fantastic. Sarah is a real one
Contents of the veggie sando were great but I was pretty disappointed at the bread quality for how $$$ it was.
Rad people, rad spot :) Go check it out! Food : 5/5
This place is a hidden gem - literally! It feels very warm, intimate and cozy inside. You dont feel like youre in Squamish anymore. The snacks are delicious too! Perfect place for a date in the evening. Will definitely be back :)
Havent tried their food yet, but the wine they had was out of this world. Really nice atmosphere and quick service.
My wife and I popped by to try the sandos here and they are INCREDIBLE (had the veg and the meat). So nice to see a local business offering such high quality ingredients in their food. Will definitely be back for a sit down dinner/wine with friends soon! Highly recommend.
What a spot! Squamish has nothing like it! Great place to have a coffee in the morning with a great selection of sandwiches! Evening vibes are even better! Natural wines, really good and quality snacks made with fresh ingredients and super chill atmosphere. Plant based options are plentiful with lots of vegan or veggie options. I was also impressed by tasty non alcoholic bev options. I really couldn t believe how tasty all the little snacks were. Wheather your looking for a place to hang in the morning for some coffee and brunch or a chill vibe to get together with friends at night for a few drinks. The Buvette is the place for you!
So fun and aesthetic. Had been dreaming of a spot like this that brings a bit of the natural wine scene in the mountains (no more driving to Vancouver!). Great playlist, and the menu has lots of vegetarian options as well which is great. Perfect for the apero or a coffee run. Can t wait for their wine list to expand even more!
