I was visiting BC from Seattle and went on a random road trip with a friend from Vancouver this weekend and we ended up in Squamish and were delighted by the atmosphere, service, and the taste of the food here. We didnt show up with a reservation but we were kindly seated almost immediately. The pork cheek was delicious, well seasoned, and just melted in my mouth.

On our way up to whistler we decided to stop in Squamish and have dinner. The service from start to finish was top notch. The food on the other hand duck torchon was cut with a little 2 much butter which made it a little dense and if they added a splash of sauterne it would have boosted the flavour a lot more. The heirloom tomatoes were really good, very fresh. My wife s seafood pasta was ehhhhh. (Crab flavour but meat was unrecognizable, way 2 shredded). Everything would have been decent but then the ribeye came.. or lack or ribeye. Ordered the ribeye and when it came, it clearly looked and tasted like a flat iron steak. it even look like the same as the picture on their website. Same cut of beef. Asked the lady and she went to the kitchen and came back with the most absurd thing. The chef told her that they cut around the ribeye to just have the middle and that s what I got. My preference is the outside part of the ribeye. Any novice cook coming straight out of school could tell that there isn t a 10 once ribeye on my plate and instead a 8once skirt steak or flat iron, whatever you want to call it. The steak that we had was extremely chewy. Cut way to thick. Skirt steak should be cut thin, like thick cut bacon. Otherwise the meat will be really chewy. Being in the food industry I know there will be mistakes and unforeseen instances. But when someone knows the product they are ordering pls be honest with the customer. This is a perfect example of you should get what you paid for. Either the chef is incompetent or the owner not an honest guy.

A wonderful surprise after Gondola trip. Dinner for 3 with the warm olive apple served with a marinade of oil, garlic and chili peppers was fantastic. Tomato Burrata with large cut tomatoes just right. Tuna served to clients wish and Bolognaese wonderful. The price point not Vancouver and rated to Squamish. Well worth the Sea to Sky drive just for dinner.

Food was excellent, some of the best TomYum soup ever & probably our favorite tasty meal. My husband got the spaghetti dish. Drinks really creative & beautiful presentation. Nice location downtown. Inside pleasant ambiance, outside nice views both directions but building construction ongoing. Easy to ignore if you look at the peaks. Service was sadly the disappointing part. Staff was kind & apologetic about it, but still felt bumbled. We would have spent about $50 more & ordered additional drinks if we thought we d ever get them delivered. We were seated at 6:15 for our reservation promptly. Asked 2x what type of water we d like by 2 different staff- fairly quickly. Tap, please. Fast forward 6:27pm. Still no water. Finally at 6:35, we mentioned we still had no water, no other recognition of our presence & no order for drinks or anything yet to be placed. We placed our order for everything at once given it took 20 minutes to get water. Drinks came promptly within 5 minutes, yay!! Appetizers of heirloom tomatoes & burrata came after another 15-20 minutes, after we watched another couple, seated after us, get the same appetizer first. I would suggest more than 3 slices of tomato & 2 slices of burrata for the price. Finally dinner came. We declined more drinks or dessert for fear we d be forgotten or waiting longer. The owner (?or manager) asked about our meals & I said they were excellent but service an issue & he did not ask more. We witnessed error in billing at another table across from us & difficulty in getting the attention of anyone when needed. Another server helped pick up the slack. Thank you curly haired server for your help. If service was on point we would give 5 stars, but go in with expectation you may be forgotten & speak up if you are. I m sorry if you were short staffed or were having a bad day, but we all are fighting battles others know nothing about. But address the service issue, & offer a free beverage or some concession to make customers feel valued & seen.

Held in a heritage building in beautiful downtown Squamish my husband and I went out for our anniversary dinner and had our socks knocked off. From the cocktails to bottle of wine and the friendly bartender and owner. On top of that the food rivalled some of Vancouver s top restaurants. The chicken and Gorgonzola with crispy yam and vegetables were divine and my husbands dish of ribeye steak was cooked to perfection. A rarity in a place that isn t a steakhouse. Well done Salted Vine!

I just had an amazing solo dinner experience at the Salted Vine. The staff was super helpful, service was prompt, restaurant was clean and comfortable, and the drinks and food were delicious. I had a Negroni, and oysters to start. Followed by a caprese salad, and a main dish of perfectly cooked scallops. YUM!

Loved this place so much. Booked ahead and were seated immediately - lovely vibe Good selection of cocktails and other drinks, and while the main menu looked great, we visited on a fixed price option evening, which we opted for but they were super flexible with allowing us to pay a surcharge for adding the special scallops which werent part of the deal The food was divine - genuinely, couldnt fault any of it! Service was VERY attentive - at no point did we feel wanting for anything and the waitress was friendly and chatty with us and other guests around us leaving us relaxed and comfortable. Its possibly for the best that Salted Vine is a half a world away from our home, as otherwise we would be here all the time and my waistline wouldnt handle it...

Nice place. Hangar steak was very nice. Good wine selection. The liver appetizer was great! Had a BC wine from Okanagan Valley. Went well with the steak. No room for dessert. Great, attentive staff

Sensation food, cocktails and service! We ve been going here for years and the place is consistently fantastic. Treat yourself and head to the Salted Vine - it s recommended 100%

I live in town and have eaten here 4 times since the opening, last 2 visits in the past year were disapointing. Lacking in the quality of execution and generosity of the plates. Dry confit duck leg sitting pretty sadly with some basic roasted vegetables, big rectangular shaped gnocchis not cooked through last time, and today seafood pasta with 2 shrimps and flakes of fish mixed with pesto, too oily. I confirmed with the friendly waiter that this is how the chef does it. She asked if they could do something to make it up, I declined. Cheese plate laughable with 2 small chunks of cheddar. Vegetarian options are unimaginative: a risotto or basic tomatoe pasta. And no, I dont go to a bistro to eat pad thai or tum yum soup. Its unfortunate, doesnt live up to the prices.

Very disappointing. Not what we expected at all for a nice dinner out. The appetizers were fine and the mains were mediocre. The mushroom risotto was oddly salty and sweet (?) the consistency of heat across the dish went from lukewarm to searing heat. There was no fresh ground pepper, which when youre paying 30$ per dish you expect quality in those details. Overall it didnt seem like the staff cared that much and the vibe was lacking as well. Spend your money elsewhere.

Really enjoyed our meal there last night. Gnocci is to die for and the beet salad is delicious. Vanilla gelato with olive oil and sea salt was so different and really good!

We live in town and this was our second time there. We went years ago and we re disappointed, didn t go back till recently. Again we thought the food was not very good(steak was plain, pasta was super greasy), our server was nice tho. The restaurant also feels cold. We would recommend going elsewhere

This place serves some of the best oysters i have ever eaten. They even changed my husband s mind on oysters. The dinks served here are also very good. I would highly recommend the food and drinks at this location. After a couple looks over the menu I m struggling to see if this is an Italian inspired menu or Thai or Just plain confused ?? Seems like an odd mix of offerings when deciding where to eat. Just my opinion but always keeps me from booking a reservation. Would love to see the chef/owners choose one thing and stick with it. Pad Thai and papaya salad just seem very out of place in light of other offerings and old menus I grew to love.

Fabulous gem, hidden off the beaten track in Squamish. The seafood platter is devine. Im disappointed it doesnt feature as a main course! But the mains are just as impressive. We had steaks, which were cooked to perfection, and from the various other dishes we spied on, on other tables. We have no reason to think that the whole menu would be devine. The wine recommendation was spot on..... to the point Im on a mission to source a supply in the UK. Lol. All in all a great culinary experience.

Thoroughly enjoyed our evening at the salted vine. The tuna entree is an absolute standout, and a hard act to follow. Our waitress was also outstanding!

We ordered a Mocktail and a glass of wine to start. The drinks were fine. We had warm olives, which were good then we had off of the children s menu, Spaghetti in white sauce, and pad, Thai. The restaurant was freezing cold. They were offering blankets to patrons - granted it was very cold outside, they could have turned up the heat. I am not a foodie at all, and typically do not complain about food. The pad Thai had some sort of pork rinds out of a bag on the side which I thought was very strange, large full green onions (uncut) and the pad thai was so sweet that it was making me gag. The children s spaghetti with white sauce was terrible. I couldn t understand why my child who loves pasta wouldn t eat it but I tried some and I don t know how you can make pasta taste so bad. There was free ice cream with the kids meal which was nice. The whole meal was $80 and I feel as though it was $80 that could have been better spent almost anywhere else in Squamish.

I took my parents here for a nicer meal when they were visiting and was quite disappointed. We had a reservation yet had to wait for a table. The first glass of wine I ordered had gone bad in the bottle. We had to wait over an hour for our main course to arrive after ordering. My food arrived with hair in it and I had to wait another 10m for it to be replaced. My meal wasn t discounted or compensated for the inconvenience. Food was very overpriced for the amount and quality. The staff was very friendly and food tasted ok, hence the two stars. As a local, I wanted to love this place but sadly won t be returning.

We went to the Salted Vine for NYE and our anniversary dinner. Everyone seemed nice, but the service was one of the worst we ve ever experienced. For example: mistake orders, wrong food or drink delivered, missed courses, significant delays without update for food/drinks, no explanation of dish/wine pairing, no check-in. Our server apologized after each mistake, but overall this was a very disappointing experience. For a $400 dinner for two, the experience did not even remotely match a reasonable expectation for service. Giving 2 stars because most the food was excellent.

We usually love The Salted Vine. But we went for dinner, I had the scallops and was pretty disappointed. Not with the flavors. But I was served 3 scallops as a main with nothing else on the plate apart from cauliflower puree, and some small pieces of squash and the price was $33. Definitely not worth the money, left feeling hungry and unsatisfied unfortunately.

Beautiful plates, excellent cocktails, and well executed service. Beet salad, tuna, and scallop plates are personal favs. The value is there too. Lucky to have this gem in town.

Big disappointment for this place that used to justify his expensive menu , same price today but quality is gone, the risotto is a now a soup of rise either you change the cook or the price !

Please read carefully. This restaurant has a new cook who doesnt meet the expectations you can have for such an expensive menu. It used to be a good restaurant. Yesterday I ordered a $33 main dish and there were only 3 scallops in it. I left the restaurant hungry and disappointed. My partner ordered the risotto and it wasnt good either. Go spend your money somewhere else.

We were very disappointed with our meal, we do not recommend dining here. While Squamish needs more restaurants like this, the quality of the food is average and out of a package. We had the ravioli, burger, fries, the daily vegetables and oysters. The burger was dry, it was a frozen patty, and the ravioli was weird. We did not finish it. The daily vegetable s were burnt and covered in cinnamon. It was overpriced for the quality. We will not be coming back. Recommend saving your money and going elsewhere.

Just had a dinner here with our invited friends from Vancouver. What a disappointment. Have been prior with a great experience but this time was certainly not. The shrimp and duck liver were great but the time for the main was slow. My flat iron steak was chewy and not warm and when I asked about where my fries were, I was told they ran out! Seriously they are fries and not able to get them especially when Im paying $28 for the meal is unacceptable. I get that during this reopening things are tough but to charge what they are and not able to put out a half decent meal (even fries???) is something that would make me reconsider going back. On a side note they comped the fries my friend had which were cold and came reheated as they had apparently run out...wow thanks. One of the most disappointing meals we have has since moving to Squamish and would be hesitant to go back.

This was not our first review, we decided to give it one more try ..BIG MISTAKE. I should have taken photos, just to prove how bad things went over the entire course of dinner. We were a party of four, the sparkling wine was served in wine glasses, the starter shrimp cocktail was served and the shrimp were frozen in the middle, all the main courses that were served had issues. Cold veggies, missing items, one dish dumped onto a lap .it was one disaster after another. Then came the over $300 bill with nothing deducted??? Never have I witnessed an owner acting like he had literally given up, he did not have any concern or explanation. He doesn t care what the quality of food is coming out of his kitchen he doesn t apologize or try to fix the mistake. I see no reason for this business to stay open much longer. It s a real shame, it was good restaurant at one point. We received a $50 gift certificate, if anyone wants it let me know, we wont be returning.

Before you decide to go here better think and read the reviews. After a log 2 hours sitting and waiting without anything then water on the table the food I mean process food , was tasting very bad and they bring us totally different order . We payed over $200 and honestly I think k we were much happier to eat at the McDonald s.

Unfortunately I think the ratings will take a while to truly show where the current state of the restaurant is. I wish I would have done more research. The staff was friendly but unfortunately needed some refinement and training at the end of the day. For what the establishment portrays, the wine service was poor, food was average at best and the cleanliness was lacking. We ordered the seared tuna starter, risotto, and the hanger steak. The seared tuna was poor quality and the best part of the dish was the sauce unfortunately. No flavor in the tuna at all and was just a failed dish. The risotto was rich but over cooked and by the time it came out to the table, I could tell it was under a hot lamp for quite some time because it lost the shine/ribbon. The hanger steak was ordered medium rare and came out medium well with no seasoning and a chimichurri that was thick and pale green. The staff didn t even come back to the table until we were more than halfway done with the meal to ask how everything was which is a fail. You should check in within a couple of minutes of the food being dropped in order to correct any issues. All in all, the food was less than stellar and I could understand why there was no one there on a Saturday at 7:00pm. I would pass on this restaurant and ask locals where to go. We should have listened to the staff at another establishment earlier in the day who mentioned Salted Vine was having many challenges .

Great little restaurant in downtown Squamish. Had fresh local oysters, beet salad, scallops and cod. All were fantastic. Recommended! Food

Great food! Portion size is a bit too small for the price, but everything is pretty tasty. I ordered the Ragu pasta and it s very good. Very clean restaurant, washroom is very nicely maintained.

Excellent quality food with creative twists on flavor combinations, e.g., the pickled rhubarb. Obviously for a price. But the same would undoubtedly run up your tab a lot higher in Vancouver. Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian options on the menu, but not a lot. None are vegan.

Had a great dinner the other night! The pasta and meatballs were so delicious, and the cocktails and wine were perfect! Reasonably priced as well! Will definitely be back soon.

Ive eaten here a couple of times and it was delicious but the food this time was underwhelming and the quality wasnt great. The service wasnt the greatest. For the prices, I expected a lot more like it was a few years ago. It will be a long while before I think about returning. Food : 3/5

Great address. Dishes made with love and served with a smile. I recommend the homemade burger, with its crispy fries! There is also a nice selection of domestic and foreign wines. France is very well represented there!

Our first time here and we really enjoyed ourselves. The staff was so kind and accommodating as we have a toddler who does his own thing at times. So patient and I believe it was the owner or manager who came up a couple of times and was very attentive to our little one. The food was great in our opinion-very homey.

We had a great dinner at The salted Wine ! The food is very tasty. A lot of flavour. Our waitress Kayla was super nice and she has great advice. Close your eyes and go for it. You won t regret. Vegetarian options: Spaghetti Pistou

Good value for quality meal. Friendly service. I really appreciated them having an extensive non-alc mocktail menu because not everybody wants to drink every time they eat or at all but it s a missed opportunity in most restaurants and bars. Well done.

Jan 9. 2022 Checked your website-says open. Got dropped off to meet others only to be greeted by a sign saying closed Jan 1-11,2022! There I was, no restaurant and no ride! Why wouldn t you update your website if you knew the dates ahead of time! Very disappointed!

The food was really great, the atmosphere is great, but ultimately, the dining experience was soured when we observed a cockroach crawling up the wall beside our table during our meal. Management, please increase your pest management practices.

This is my go to spot for an upscale Squamish dining in experience. I have to get the Ruppert drink everytime... And not just because I like that mountain bike trail. Ive always enjoyed ordering the full dinner with a side of mushrooms. The seared tuna was my favorite salad so far. The steak is always cooked perfectly medium rare. Im glad I didnt feel too full so I could enjoy the lemon dessert.

The service and the cocktails were excellent. However, the price vs quality and quantity of food wasn t. We ordered the steak and it was tiny! $33 for a overly salted small piece of steak. It was supposed to come with sauce . There was none. The waitress asked which kind of vegetables we wanted with the meal, little we knew they were going to charge us $20 for a few carrots! We paid $140 for a small overly salted steak with no sauce, a few carrots, and 2 drinks. The service was great, but I will never come back here again! It was OVERLY price for the quantity and quality.

Had dinner out with party of 12 as bachelors party group. Atmosphere was great, good local vibes, staff were accommodating and friendly. Drinks were tasty. I had the Steelhead, food was excellent. Would eat here again.

This local upmarket restaurant is normally great, amazing Im told, but a loss struck the staff team recently and they are struggling... The management could do with reducing capacity until the staff cohesion improves. We waited a long time for drinks and food, which they did recognise, and what came was tasty (maybe a touch too salty) and the servers were doing their absolute best. Please go, but be mindful that times might be a little longer than normal so dont be in a rush :)

Good food but poor service. It took over an hour for two of us to get served. People seated after us were getting their food before us while we just waited and waited.

Initially 3/5 but brought down to a 1 after the owners attitude. It is also NOT an upscale dining experience like their website states. I thought this was a university pub. Food: I thought the food was okay. The albacore tuna was nice but the duck confit and meatballs that my partner and I got were not great. The best thing about it was the vegetables, which had a very nice natural sweetness to it. However, the duck felt a bit dry and the meatball dish was just cold. Not even lukewarm after waiting for almost an hour. Experience: My partner and I were invited for dinner by our friends on a Thursday night, and we were all appalled by the owners attitude. Our friend made a reservation at this place, and as we were walking in, we were greeted by an unhappy and grumbly host (which turned out to be the owner). After we were seated, we noticed that there was a large group of people celebrating someones birthday and we were seated right next to them. The group eventually became increasingly loud, and I could not hear what our friends were saying because I was sitting on the other side of the table. A group of 4 people could barely hold a conversation unless my partner was relaying what they were saying and relaying what I was saying because the large group was talking across the table, shouting, cheering, and clapping right next to us. But its really not the groups fault for reserving the restaurant to celebrate their birthday. We just thought it was very weird for the restaurant to have tables available right next to the party and not have that area closed off for the party. And because of the party, some of the food was not available and we felt like our food was forgotten, given the long wait. After our friend talked to the waitress about it, the owner came and that was when we found out that the guy that greeted us was the owner. Our friend basically told him that 1. The area should have been closed off if there was such a big party 2. If its not closed off, they should have informed us beforehand about the noise and delay in food Which was a very fair thing to say in my opinion. And the owners response was that 1. I did everything right and nothing was wrong 2. We should have just went to the patio 3. Theres no way they are closing the restaurant for 32 people if they can fit 90 people and that we are wrong but we are free to think that way First off, saying that you can fit 90 people is an outright lie, as the large group was taking up the majority of the indoor dining area. Secondly, we were getting chilly so we decided against the patio. If we had known about the situation earlier, we would have rather stayed cold in the patio or not have dined in at all. I did not understand the owners demeanor and his defensive, argumentative attitude to what seems like a pretty reasonable feedback. Claiming that this is an upscale dining experience is a joke. Ive had better and quieter dining experience with warm food and prompt service at university pubs. This was easily the worst dining experience of this year. Our waitress was pleasant but the owner really needs an attitude check.

After having had a few good meals here in 2021, was excited to return with friends and made reservations for dinner. Arrived to find the restaurant so crowded with guests attending a private function that items on the menu were sold out, service times were outrageously long and there was so much background noise from the private function that conversation was close to impossible. Upon approaching management with grievances concerning their booking policies - believing that the restaurant should have been closed for the function OR, that at bare minimum, we should have been warned when making our reservation - was met not with an apology - or any sort of regret - but instead with indignance bordering on hostility. Unbelievably bad customer service. Will never eat here again.

Giving this restaurant 1 star as in the end I hated it: they brought the food for one person at the table and only15 mins later for the rest of the family (we ordered in the same time). Even 2nd time when they brought the food they forgot to bring one of the items we ordered. I ordered fries and they came totally overcooked...probably a regular person would get heart burns from eating them. In the end we also ordered deserts but few minutes later they came saying they no longer had one of the deserts we ordered....extremely bad experience for a restaurant pretending to be a good restaurant.

Incredibly loud, over packed and the food portions were very small. Man who met us at the door was apparently the owner and was arguing with guests about the food and seemed angry. Not a good experience at all.

Surf and turf and the burgers were delicious. My meatballs dish was otherwise disappointed, the carrots in there was so hard that I can t eat over half of them. Cous cous was tasteless as well. Service was very nice and attentive. I enjoyed the atmosphere there

The food was good although the service was really cold. I felt uncomfortable and it took some time before our presence in the lobby was even acknowledged. This is a nice restaurant but lack of human warmth and service.

Brought my mom with me last month. She had steak while I had tomato salad. The steak was not that great. We love the tomato salad tho. The space is too tight too. My mom was in a wheelchair. Not really wheelchair accesible. I would give 3.5

Wow, wow, wow!!! This place is great!! Took family here for a nice dinner and thats exactly what we got. The service was stellar, the food was stellar and so was the price. This is a perfect example that great food doesnt have to be overpriced or served in a stuffy, uptight, pretentious atmosphere. We will be back for sure!!

Great cocktails! Front of house staff was excellent. Food was amazing and the octopus was exceptional. Great local spot for a wonderful meal and cozy atmosphere.

We came for happy hour after finding our Christmas Tree. The service was fabulous and friendly, cocktails and food delicious and the ambiance was perfect. Our new tradition! Thanks Pat and staff for making it special for us.

Arrived at a very empty restaurant. The host (whom was our server, I think?) greeted us with do you have a reservation? We were sat in quite an awkward seat, considering the restaurant was barely occupied. Our table was wonky, our ($7.50) sparkling water arrived in a plastic bottle placed on the table. Our server gave us menus and did not even share that there were specials. I prompted our server to share the specials after pointing out another diners dish. Our appetizer arrives, 3 arancini balls displayed beautifully. We cut into two of the balls and they were stone cold to touch, cheese was not even close to melted. Called the person over that dropped off the dish. Questioned if this was how this dish was meant to be served, they replied with no it isn t took the plate without any words exchanged. The same dish returns to us, within minutes. All balls now are cut in half and the sauce that once was beautifully arranged was a swamp on the plate. Clearly the dish was whacked into the science oven to bring up to temperature. We paid full price for this debacle and not one explanation or apology. I won t go on further about my experience because it doesn t improve and I d hate to embarrass a business especially if they were just having an off day. Fine dining, I d have to strongly disagree.

Love Sunday brunch at the Salted Vine. Sooooo good. Too busy eating the amazing eggs Benedict to get a picture of anything but my empty plate.

All of us agreed we had one of the best meals ever -- and our family includes a couple of young ones who are hard to please! The service was prompt and friendly without being overly attentive. The acoustics of the dining area was such that it was quiet even when it had reached capacity (within the limits of Covid rules), great ambience!

Food was okay but nothing impressing. One of the good aspect is that they were able to accommodate us even if we didn t have a reservation and they have an extensive non-alcoholic cocktail list. Our server was not really nice to us but seemed to be nicer to the people sitting next to us.

Cozy restaurant in Squamish downtown. They have various cocktails, and fantastic cuisine. Steak plate was too simple for the price, but I love the atmosphere(interior, beautiful art)Staff was friendly and nice!

The Salted Vine has been a highlight of our Squamish family trips for several years. The food and service used to be wonderful. However our recent dinner there was a big disappointment. The kids food came quickly and they were both hungry but neither of them could eat what was served. My son ordered a well done burger, which came badly burned on the outside and raw on the inside. When we timidly showed it to the hostess, she took it to the kitchen and brought it back as an unrecognizable and inedible piece of coal. My daughter loves butter pasta so when she could not eat it, I had to taste it... it was a very fine line between al dente and uncooked, totally tasteless. The food for my husband and me arrived one and a half hours later. When I expressed a little surprise at the waiting time, the hostess said This is Squamish. Fortunately for Squamish this is not true. The next day we tried a different restaurant and the service was great. Such a shame.

Lovely ambiance. Hubby and I were celebrating our Anniversary and some locals we met suggested this place. The food was gorgeous and so so delicious, fantastic cocktails as well. What I loved about this place is while it was fancy, it doesnt come with a pretentious air. Will be coming back.

Nice place and service! But.... There mustve been a hiccup on the food quality that day, we ordered salads and cauliflower bites - which were fine. One us were vegan, and requested that the cauliflower was dairy free. Waitress said we should be fine...but later brought in the food, and then said the breading has dairy...I wish they said this or confirmed it before making the food - so that we can pick a different menu item. one of the main dishes we ordered was Bucatini. We noticed that the squid was already spoiled. We sent it back. The Matrid (maybe the owner?) and waitress did sincerely apologized, and quickly offered us a different a option, which we just selected a salad to be on the safe side. They did handle it really well, by covering our meal -- so no harm, no foul. We were just expecting to eat something really good that night. A little pricey for what it is too. Like i said - great service and ambience

Great flatiron steak and accompaniments, yummy raw oysters

The best charcuterie board in Squamish? Very likely so. Great food. The ling cod in broth was to die for, the flat iron steak was perfectly melt and the desert was so good that it lingered just the right amount. Our waitress was so amazing too. She handled almost all the tables by herself with a smile behind her mask. That being said, please be mindful that restaurants are short staffed and service might be a smidgen slow, but the great ambiance and food quality more than makes up for this. Would definitely go again.

Went here for dinner lastnight and everything was amazing! It was busy but the service was great and the owner was also circulating making sure everyone was enjoying their meals. We had the bread with lemon butter (Unreal!), gnocchi (so creamy and delicious), and a steak that was on special (absolutely amazing). Had a bottle of wine but the cocktails people around us ordered all looked great. Loved the ambience and will definitely go back!

Delicious, fun, the best place to spend a date night.

We were very happy when we arrived for our reservation and the owner/manager let us sit at a table of our choice even though they had initially put us at another table. The mushroom risotto and cheesecake were very good but the drinks and other pasta dish we had were not very good. We also didnt appreciate that the server offered us water or sparkling water and didnt mention that sparkling was going to cost $7.50 - we dont like it that much and wouldve opted out. Otherwise, the atmosphere was nice and it was a nice time.

Dined here yesterday evening as a party of 3. Our experience was very mixed - the quality of service and speed of service was poor, yet the overall food portions were fairly sized, flavorful & reasonably priced. We ordered one cocktail within 10 minutes of being seated, which then took upwards of 15 minutes to arrive (the Cedar Sour was very good though). My husband ordered a cocktail in hopes it would arrive with the delivery of the appetizer, which it did not, so we cancelled this. It would have been great to have been told to order cocktails quickly when we sat down, if we wanted them at all. We asked the server for main course recommendations and descriptions of the dishes, which was not delivered very well. The Beets & Buratta was a great appetizer, and the Bucatini main course was tasty and came out hot. However, two of the diners ordered the Duck Breast (medium rare), that came out prepared medium, and were both cold to the touch. No quality check on any of the meals for us to be able to express this; those who had the duck didnt want to get the attention of the server as that would have taken far too long, plus then getting it replaced.... When this feedback was shared with the server after the meal was finished, there was acknowledgement. It was abundantly clear that for how busy the restaurant was on a Thursday night, they were wildly understaffed, which affected the quality of service. We were not the only ones in the restaurant trying to catch the attention of our server, or who kept checking to see when the food was arriving. Our friends bill was presented showing $0, so when we asked if that was in recovery due to the duck, she just said it was an error and then brought out another full priced bill without an apology. Overall, would not return despite the food or solid wine list.

Absolutely brilliant spot for delicious local food and drinks! Amazing menu with a fantastic variety, and flavours inspired from just about everywhere. The Rock Cod served in a dashi broth was just amazing! The house potato chips? To die for. And the best thing? All of the dishes are more than reasonably priced. And the staff are all extremely warm and welcoming! Definitely a place you need to try if you re ever in the area, or on your way back from a long day of skiing.

Great room!! Good, unique drinks along with main stays and traditional all made right. Service is superb, upper class feel. Impressive high end cuisine in Squamish, good prices for level of food. Patio in the front, open in the summer. Top notch menu, delicious pickled veggies, charcuterie selection, and cheeses! beef, seafood, pork belly, risotto, daily specials, chicken wings, are all options here! Recommend coming here for the vibe, service, food and drinks! All over well balanced place in a beautiful setting and once again the service is top notch!! The dessert is absolutely amazing, like everything I have tried here, made completely perfect, including food display is done right. Serving sizes are also perfect. Even the popcorn is perfectly made with all the right seasonings. It s hard to find a place like this in the city! Great local bread and frittes! Oysters are also great.

Delicious cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere. This is the perfect place for an upscale, fine dinner in a place youll feel at home. Dont miss the oysters and Cache Creek steak. And the brunch is also amazing.

Great Italian plates!

They have a great wine selection if ordering by the bottle. Pretty good selection for by the glass. Food was excellent and the atmosphere was great. Staff is on point with service. The charcuterie was top notch. We added the brie to complete the plate. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for some fine eats.

Very tasty and fresh. The pasta sauce was not too heavy with big prawns.

First time and loved their Happy Hour menu even though they were out of oysters... We had their parmesan frites, confit chicken wings and warm olives. Had their Dirty Jane cocktail (actually 2 ) gosh those were yummy.. Hubby had their Vanilla cheesecake and I had to taste and omg was so light almost more like a lovely mousse... Staff very pleasant and kind... highly recommend this little gem in Squamish BC

While the food was decent, the restaurant itself suffers from a poor atmosphere and iffy service. The food itself is also not deserving of its price point. The atmosphere is cold and uninviting, the open windows and doors are not fitting of a place where you are expected to pay over $5 for table bread. To me the open glass doors and windows, plus the uncomfortable chairs scream of a dinner and not of a restaurant that wants to be upper class.

I was completely blown away by the service, ambiance and food quality. Everything was incredible and fresh tasting. I was here last night and am already craving the food again! They have a great variety of meats, seafood and vegetarian options.

Wow. Coming from Toronto we had hit and miss restaurant experiences but were extremely happy with the Salted Vine. The cocktails were amazing and the 3 course meal was the best meal on our 10 day trip. The duck breast was one of the best tasting meats Ive had in a long time. I highly recommend this little gem.

The only place in Squamish that approaches fine dining. Dishes are presented nicely, service is great, well stocked bar and wine list. Problem is the wooden chairs and echo of a roadhouse. A little pricey for what is delivered, but fine.

This is New York ?!?!....forget about it. 4x the price. Iiiiiif you could get a table ......good luck. I want to write, don t come here, so it stays small and local. But I can t. Some of the best food and cocktails I have ever had. If I could give 10 stars I would. Just come ....you ll want to pay double

Nice place to take the wife!

Went for Sunday brunch. There was only a couple tables occupied. We were seated in the back corner of the restaurant. When mentioned it to the server she said it was romantic table. Disappointed. We had the egg bennies. They were really tasty. Would give more stars if we werent hinden in the back.

Great establishment. Everything is excellent. Accustomed to Alsatian Riesling, we ordered half a liter. Much too sweet for our palate and for the meal. The waitress exchanged it for us, we took a drier white wine: Okanagan Sauvignon which we tasted with hot olives and almonds then we took a DELICIOUS salmon, as we are not dessert people, we took a sublime espresso. Excellent address.

Great dinner, and good service. The starter (meatballs) were very good and we shared two entrees, the risotto was particularly good. Only negative is being charged extra for bread, I feel like a restaurant like this should offer bread complimentary, but thats only a small note.
