Went there with my husband after a long day at work to have a good time. There was just one other table and us. I asked if it was possible to customize the protein in one of our meals which the server checked with the chef and agreed to it. When I pointed at the Souvlaki dinner, she said she was going to charge me with a different thing on the menu apparently the most expensive one and then put $7 of protein upgrade on that rather than giving me what we actually asked for. When I pointed it out she called me and my husband Hilarious out of nowhere and told us to speed up and order. She said and I quote, I havent got all day for you guys, I have a million other things to do which says a lot about someone working on a minimum pay job, I mean what was she doing serving at the first place if she has already got million other things which obviously does not include serving her customers well. We couldnt take it anymore so we asked her to cancel our appetizer order and get us the bill for our drinks. To which she stormed away and came back with a machine and threw it on the table for us to pay. NEVER HAD SUCH EXPERIENCE. Idk if she was having some personal issues with her life which was reflecting on her profession or was just being pure racist towards us. The chef himself came in and tried to fix things for us (which was very nice of him) but it was too late and we did not wanted to be served by her so we left. All I am trying to do through this review is to warn you guys to not go there if you guys are big on customer service as the person like her should not be near the restaurant let alone be the face of the it. It was our first time there bcoz we really wanted to give local a try. Unfortunately it did not go as expected thanks to the server. Never going back. Cannot review the food bcoz we did not even get a chance to try it and for the service I wish there was something less than one star, unfortunately thats the minimum.

The place has traditional food from a breakfast and lunch menu, as well as traditional local drinks. The atmosphere of the space is a little depressing but the food offers a good taste of Canadian culture.

Not there for the atmosphere, great breakfast and great price. Have lived in Squamish for over 2 years and didnt even know this place existed.

We have always enjoyed dining at Timberwolf and especially like ordering their MARGHERITA Pizza for take out. A great place for the entire family to dine in ! Vegetarian options: They have some great choices for vegetarians, though my favourite is the veg pizza. Kid-friendliness: Variety of foods for kids to enjoy !

I had a great experience at the timber wolf restaurant in squamish. I was seated within a minute. then soon after ordered a ham and cheddar omelette with a side of bacon. Everything came within about 10 minutes. All hot and fresh with a perfectly made omelette, crispy bacon but nothing special about the toast or home fries. The price was reasonable for the amount of food i got. All in all a great eat and would definitely come back. Parking: Attached to a hotel so loads of parking

We are in sqamish fairly often but this was our first time eating at the Timberwolf. I had the Lasagna and my husband had a burger. Both meals were fantastic. Service was superb! The chef/owner seems committed to making your dining experience top notch. Great food, great prices! Food

I was very disappointed with the service from entering in and to the table . We had made a reservation for 15 people and might be more . We never got any coffee or water or took our orders. But Mayson I think that was the girl who served us was rude not happy . We felt like we were outcast because a big table of indo Canadian were sitting down. We had to call to get out orders in then no refills for coffee never got water . Then The food was coming out and certain people didn t get their food till we asked her . First in here I would never come back it was because Sandman hotel recommended you . But we saw them hanging around the customer service area the cashier area, but she didn t come and check on our tables but she checked on everybody else s tables for refills for coffee. Very bad customer service.. the other half that was sitting outside didn t get menus until they came and grab our menus.

We have come here for years whenever we stay in Squamish. The food in our opinion is excellent. We had the lamb shank and chicken pesto penne and did not disappoint! Kudos to the chef and the service!

Great classic breakfast without the unnecessary frills! I feel like the Timberwolf takes me back in time.. but in a great way! Very competitive pricing and good, simple food with big portions. Lots of seating for big groups and great for kids. Can t wait to come back!!!

I had the Mushroom and Cheese Omelette and it was excellent. Stuffed full and the Cranberry sourdough toast was amazing. My with had The Don, 2 piece French toast with maple syrup and enjoyed it. Great service!!!

The food wasnt too bad, potatoes were AMAZING, the ribs were dry and the veggies were not the greatest. We were the only two people in the place yet had to ask multiple times for service. The girl was then annoyed and really let it show throughout our meal. The other girl working seemed very professional and friendly. Kind of an older uglier style of interior. The food came SUPER quick!

This hidden gem in Squamish has a pretty good breakfast with generous portion sizes! Hashbrowns, eggs, its all good. I would vote this place a good contender if youre on your way to a hike and have time to sit down to eat breakfast. Parking: Parking around the hotel.

Absolutely love this restaurant. Good food and even better staff. We stay at the adjoining hotel because of this restaurant! We arrived late on a slow weeknight and they opened the restaurant just to let us do takeout.

No nonsense food at reasonable prices. The servers are always fantastic - fast, kind, efficient, and leave me smiling every time. My fav place to go out and eat with the kids. They will always eat the food, no matter how picky they are. My only complaint - I wish they were open for dinner too!

This place is a hidden gem kind of in the middle of nowhere, but its one of my favorite restaurants we ate at in Canada. Dont be fooled by the area its in or the building exterior. Its kind of in an industrial park, which was strange at first, but after we ate there we didnt care. We stopped for breakfast on the way to Whistler and my teens liked it as much as my wife and I. In fact we ended up stopping for lunch on the way back to Vancouver a few days later and it was just as good. Finding a place to eat that has things all 4 of like is a rarity. Next time we go to Whistler, stopping there will be planned into the trip. If it was in my town Id eat there all the time - cant recommend it more highly.

Ordered beef dips to go. So bad! Hardly any meat, which was tough and chewy and had literally one small piece of onion, bread was dry, no flavour. Fries tasted like fish. Time to change your grease. Total waste of money.

Timberwolf is a great place to eat. They have good portions with a variety of dishes. I go here especially for the breakfast when I visit Squamish. The service is great. It is connect to mountain retreat hotel so the parking lot can be busy. They also have a liquor store there as well. I also like the atmosphere pretty chill.

I have never had a bad meal from Timberwolf. So delicious. I have ordered delivery multiple times and it is consistently very good. Pizza, souvlaki, calamari...everything is delicious.

Best beef dip we have ever had. So much meet great bun. The butter chicken was so authentic too. Place needs a face lift with the worn out seats but service is fast friendly. This is an awesome hidden gem.

We had the beef souvlaki and the calamari souvlaki. Best weve ever had!!! We tried the breakfast Quesadilla the next morning. Wow. Delicious. Coffee was great. Our server was very kind, she was there that evening and again the next morning. Orders ready on her estimate (we had to have take out). Filled our travel thermos with hot water for the road. Thank you so much!!!

Pizzas have no flavour. Lots of dough and cheese but nothing else. We had 3 different pizzas, they all tasted the same. We used hot sauce to give them some sort of taste. Ill try again with a different dish I guess.

Family had a lovely meal everything was good solid eats loved the jalepenoe poppers but forsure what turned this from a 4 star to a 5 star was the waitress Mayson she was actually running, super attentive, found time to be joking the family was even joking wondering if she was hostess, waitress and cook. Overworked and super cheerful you never see that anymore.

For breakfast - Food was good. Service was both very good and very, very bad. All of the real servers were hustling and doing a great job. But - some man came out of kitchen with a soiled white cooks uniform and attempted to find us a table. He ushered us to a table and then sent us back in line to wait. Then he cleared a table for six to seat just me and my wife. A real server spoke with the cook/server that seated us and told him not to seat anyone more because they do not have enough staff to service any more people. When another real server came to serve us, I offered to go to smaller table because I could see there were a couple of large group waiting in line. The server was grateful and sat us at a quiet table for two. We noticed that the cook/server was continuing to hustle and seat people. We asked our server if she could tell the cook/server to stay in the kitchen and let the staff do their job. Apparently he was not a cook/server. He was a co-owner/manager/cook/server. Our breakfast took close to 40 minutes to get to our table. But it was hot and it was good. We left our real server with a generous tip for expectational tolerance of the work situation. I dearly hope that the staff will walk out and find a less toxic work environment - because that is where well be eating breakfast from now on.

The best cube hash browns Ive ever had. The pancake was fluffy and melts in your mouth. The service was excellent. The food came very quickly. 100% will visit again after my next camping trip up in Squamish!

Food was okay but service was sub par! After a small complaint and asking for the manager he excused himself by telling me to call back because he was busy, the place was empty because we had pickup? Gave a tip for pickup with no, thankyou! They didnt even put a knife or fork or napkins after we told them we were staying in the same hotel!!

Food was great but service was horrible. Had to ask for a high chair 3 times. Had to ask for the appetizer I ordered and she said she didnt hear so when I finally got it I was half way through my dinner. The waitress was absent and we were the only table in the place, other then the 3 people at the bar. Will not be going back.

We had a lovely breakfast today at the Timberwolf Restaurant, it was very busy due to the power outage here there was minimal waits with excellent service. Each employee from the kitchen staff to servers should be highly commended.

Ordered for delivery and was delicious!

We stop here for a quick brunch on the way back from Whistler. After waiting in line for our turn, we were told to wait a minute to be served when we were next in line. 15 min later when ask what the heck is going on a disgruntled employee lashed out that they are at capacity (which no one told us), thats its only two of us servers here(as if the patrons are responsible for staff scheduling) and that well have to wait if we want to eat. The service here is abysmal, and the staff is extremely rude. In the middle of a pandemic, we know how small businesses are suffering and when you show up to support an independent established, we got lashed out at. Please save you money and go somewhere else. There are plenty of nice places to eat near by.

We had our Thanksgiving dinner catered from Timber wolf. The whole experience was 10+. The owner/ chief was very helpful, pleasant, and very accommodating. The food was delicious, large portions and presentation was very pleasing. The cost was very reasonable. I would recommend this place for your catering needs and dinning out. By having the dinner catered there was more time for fun and no dishes. Win Win!

Ive been coming to the Timberwolf since they opened. One of the Best eggs bennie in Squamish. Great service, get here early or early afternoon for brunch on weekends as it does get busy.

I really cannot say enough about the service staff who welcomed me, learned my name and treated me kindly and professionally (thats a unusual mix) I never waited long for my food and it came out super tasty and beautifully presented. I highly recommend this place.
