Have eaten at this place many times. Always fresh, fastand well priced. My favorite…
It was a great experience. We came for lunch. Both of our boys are very satisfied. We are a family of four. All of us are full. We spend around $70. Great atmosphere and service. Thank you a lot! Definitely recommend this place!
Nice place. Staff is friendly, service prompt (counter ordering and payment, but they'll bring you your food). Takeout experience is smooth. Had ramen here a few times and been pleased, as well as some donburi bowls. Happy to return
Good general sushi, love the Vegan options - Avo Yam is my fav! Like everything else in this town... prices are on the tad expensive side. Need better communication between staff, and training on the menu. Chick on the phone didn't know what an Inari was--Passed me to co-worker, called me the wrong name, and had wiped all of my order, so had to start again. Not a big deal, just a heads up for better service.
Good sushi’s. Friendly and very fast service! Not a luxury sushi restaurant but good quality of sushi. Quick, friendly and nice quality. Perfect for our family of 5 that was hungry 😁😋
My friend and I went to this place after finishing a hike in Squamish on Canada Day. Service was super quick, staff is friendly as always, pricing is reasonable. My friend had a Zen roll, I had salmon avocado and scallop tempura rolls. Everything was tasty, although I particularly enjoyed the scallop tempura rolls as it was crunchy and delicious!
Good sushi and apps. Service was quick (pick up order) and staff were friendly. I would reccomend.
I love this place. It's always my go-to place when I head up to Whistler. Food is good. I had the chicken karage don, portion is pretty generous. Pricing is ok too. Put this in your Whistler itinerary. Oh did I mention there are cool paintings on the wall and they're for sale too!
The first time I visited them. For a fast food place it is very nice, the food tastes good and with very good prices.
Good portions and food is good.
Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu Food
Staff are friendly and I loved their foods
Worst Tuna Poke I ve ever had The bowl had about an inch of sloppy gross liquid at the bottom the was sooo salty! Couldn t taste anything else really overpriced and bad value never going back
Great sushi, fast service.
I went to eat with a friend yesterday, and to be honest, I was disappointed. The front staff was nice, but the kitchen staff had the worst attitude. The people were talking so loud that I couldnt hear the background music at all, and the laughter echoing throughout the store was noisy. And the language theyre speaking isnt English or Japanese, but something like Chinese? The food was delicious, but it seems like this restaurant is ruining the wonderful image of Japanese culture and etiquette, which is a real shame. There are people who want to enjoy their meal in peace, and that kind of commotion is completely unacceptable. The customers around me seemed really bothered, and I felt sorry for the customers and small children who wanted to enjoy their meals quietly. Honestly, I cant believe I would pay to eat in such an environment. The food itself was delicious, so I would have given it a rating of 1, but that was the only saving grace, so I gave it a rating of 2. Are there really store managers or owners? Its a problem if youre not aware of this situation, and an even bigger problem if you know about it and ignore it. I dont want to go anymore.
Had the chicken ramen and loved it
We only had one set of sushi but it took 20 minutes to prepare even though there werent that many people. Then maybe there were a lot of take-out orders. Except that it was delicious and original. Vegetarian options: Vegan option listed on the menu Dietary restrictions: The same goes for gluten-free options.
Not everyone who serves is friendly, its not worth going since the sushi isnt the best either. Better to pay more a few meters away and be well served.
Staff are friendly and great at their jobs. Always quick and very consistently good food.
Paper thin pieces of salmon in both the rolls and the nigiri, but a huge amount of rice so that s all you taste. For the price it s absolutely not worth it.
Great combos lots of food. Really tasty
Satisfied customer!
Great place for quick delicious sushi
Authentic Japanese sushi and ramen! Parking: Easy peasy parking in the lot out front. Food : 5/5 |
Sushi was mid. Will not be back.
An on the go fave for me. A couple of delicious rolls for the car ride home.
I can t believe I m saved, they had a stapler pin in my miso soup.. me and my kid could have died I m so scared and husband doesn t care as he is like atleast I didn t eat it and obv we should just relax and not order from it again -.- the overall food sucks too.. never ordering again.. very disappointed and threatened
It s fast
Amazing food at a great price!
Arigatai tomodachis
My nebayaki udon was really delicious!! It s perfect for a cold day in Squamish. The service was great too. The server reminded me that the pot is hot. I would definitely recommend anyone who is stopping in Squamish to take a break and grab a bite.
THIS PLACE IS UNDERRATED! Why only 3.9 stars? No, you all need to try veggie udon from here. Its affordable, delicious, and tasty. The best Asian restaurant so far! Vegetarian options: Quite a lot of vegan menus
Pretty basic dining room, but it is clean. The sushi is always tasty and doesn t break the bank.
Stopped here for lunch today on the way back from whistler with my family, immediately after leaving about 20 minutes I was extremely sick was very dizzy and was nauseous. Still feel very unwell I do not recommend eating their raw fish there.
We live in the North. We expected or at least hoped the sushi would be great here. Sadly, we were very wrong. We ordered gyoza. It was burnt and made with a green wrapper that tasted like a old protein shake. Not good. It seems we have forgotten quality food after covid. They dont have an email for feedback so i am leaving it here.
Noodles and broth for $15 is not ramen. Chicken ramen ? - there would need to be some chicken rather than none. False advertising is an understatement I d suggest try somewhere else.
Delicious Japanese food! Great staff, very yummy sushi and poke bowls. Easy parking.
Simply our favorite Sushis in Squamish together with another place downtown. And check out where you can have your sushis :). Food : 5/5
Best sushi place in Squamish
Love the food here, tasty and great value for your dollar. Front staff and service staff is pleasant and accommodating. Please your order before dinner rush though :)
the new online ordering platform is not prioritized. 45 minute, innacurrate wait times. Good idea in theory, executed poorly in practice. Otherwise I enjoy the food Food
Great, friendly service. Food came fast and was yummy. Kid-friendliness: Lots of options from the kids menu, and kid chopsticks that they took time to put together. Food : 5/5 |
Yum yum
I was happy with my meal although I could have eaten a bit more. Hungry big eaters are going to need to order more here. Ordered the Tuna Poke bowl. Tea is free and you serve yourself. A bit of a cafeteria style eatery where you order first but they bring your food to you if you are sitting at a table for dining in. Not a date night location, it is a no frills restaurant. It was just what I needed being by myself and wanting a mid point stop and dinner on my way back driving from Whistler to Vancouver. I would likely stop here again in the future if I am in a mood for sushi.
Love stopping at the Garibaldi location on my way back to yvr from skiing at Callaghan. Great sushi wraps, nice service.
Really delicious food! My picky daughter loves it!
I ask for extra teryaki sauce everytime and this is what they give me! 3 bites in and I m eating plain rice and chicken!
Miss this place and the Samurai Special. Anyone know if they use Franks hot sauce for the spicy tofu?
Cheap, fast, efficient, and decent sushi/Japanese food. Its in a good location in Squamish on the way to Whistler, and theres plenty of parking. The place is really busy and kinda small, but theres no table service so everything is pretty fast and the food is ready in 5-10 minutes.
Great little hidden gem. Had sushi for lunch and it was delicious, do I came back for dinner the next day and had their vegetarian ramen. The service is incredible and the food is great, especially for the price point!
Not huge portions but good quality. Used to be good for gluten free but the last time we visited they contaminated the food. Service wasnt as good either
Pretty decent sushi, service, very clean and also good ciders
Amazing service always and the sushi is so consistently great. My go-to.
Good restaurant to stop by and charge yourself! Food taste great!
Very good food and service for the price
Terrible service, the food took over 35 minutes. Everyone around finished their food around us
Pretty good food for the price range, came out fast and the staff were nice and friendly. Will be back
Great rolls and donburi bowls.
Good sushi, good vibes, good tea, good pee
There opinion of what your money worth for there food is sad Ramen is $15 with tax and consists of broth and handful of noodles and 3 thin, small pieces of beef. I don t feel like they care
Mediocre may be a compliment for this place. Its clean and staff are friendly but the food was a disappointment. Expect small rolls that are mostly rice, semi tasteless and prices above their worth. The ginger slices were the best part - and they dont even make those. We wont be returning
The worst sushi Ive ever tasted in my life.
great reliable sushi
I enjoyed the sushi but the pulled pork donburi was made with very sweet teriyaki and the gyoza deep fried instead of pan fried . Theres nothing in the interior decoration that says this is a Japanese restaurant. You also have to stand up by the cashier to place your order, sanitize your seat and table before and after eating and bus your table at the end. Why would you put some money on the tip jar?
Always great service Food tastes great I order from there once a week
Quick service good food
Stay away , very bad service , staff is sarcastic , and very expensive for what you get .
Returning to the mainland from whistler stopped in for dinner. Very busy. Food is decent. Portions are small. Cant compare to standards in Vancouver, but judging by how busy it was it was probably a safe bet.
Great fast sushi
Been coming here since they opened and never before have I been served a pile of fat with my beef bento. I complained and they gave me another pile of fat. Wont be back.
The seasoning is appropriately delicious and the seaweed stems? It was really the best. I ate the udon right away so I don t have a picture.
These guys have the best customer service in Sqaumish and their super efficient. The sushi s good, but the teriyaki isn t the best quality with pretty small portions
Fair price, tasty, and so quick!. I would definitely stop again another time.
The little amount of green ice cream they give you tastes horrible! Green Ice cream of death, youve been warned! But over all, great place, great food, great sushi, great service! 6/5
Pricey. Mediocre fast food type sushi.
Favourite sushi place
Great food, nice and clean.
Love the veggie wrap
This is my sons favourite restaurant in Squamish!
Good food for a reasonable price; the daily specials are great value. I love the seafood salad, its fresh and crisp and it has a very tasty dressing. Service is fast and friendly.
Delish & quick food. Great bowls & sushi! Good value! Great place for a quick bite! Free parking. Fast and friendly service!
Worst sushi and customer service in town. Skip at all costs!
Kind of expensive for the quality. The rolls are decent but the other dishes are meh. Service is excellent.
Your run of the mill Japanese restaurant, will definitely satisfy your sushi craving if you decide to visit. The restaurant doesn t seem to be entirely authentic, as many of the menu items are tailored to a more western pallet, however it is good sushi nonetheless.
Almost every time I order takeout they forget to put something in the bag. Tried emailing them after being frustrated 2 times in a row and they never responded. Super unprofessional. I used to go there every other day, now I never want to go back. Additionally, my friend just ordered from them tonight and the girl forgot to hang up the phone and started complaining about her!!!! Absolutely terrible...
Around dinner time the restaurant fills with people and the small amount of seating is completely full by peak hours, which is a bummer if you do plan on dining in. Service can be a bit slow, but Ive also had my order come twice as fast so it really depends on whos working and how busy they are at that time. However, this is a great place to pick up quick, relatively good quality sushi in a pinch
The Best meal ever. Cooks are amazing and prepare great creations!
Order on phone. Get there 10 mins later. Told I still have to wait in a long line of people waiting to order to pick up my food that is cooling down on the counter. Waited 10 minutes in line but eventually left to avoid eating cold beef donburi.
Love the food here
Udon noodle soup broth was really good but egg was very overcooked. Rolls were ok -- too much rice.
Good quality affordable Japanese/Sushi
One of my fav little spots for a hit of sushi. Tuna tataki roll, avocado roll and the pork gyozas are my go-tos. Spicy agedashi tofu is nice, too! Delish!
Easy, quick and delicious !
Great value. Not the top sushi in the world, but great food for what you pay. Fast, friendly and yummy.
I travel across Canada quite a bit so I do eat a lot of sushi. Sushi from this place is overpriced and is worse then gas station sushi. i m nor lying. The rice was hard, some of the ingredients weren t fresh it was absolutely disgusting
Good pricing.... independent of the sea to sky. Friendly staff, decent selection. Would recommend!
Very overpriced for what the quality is.. they also dont take valid canadian currency.. lol what a joke. Spend your money somewhere else like sushi sen.
It was tasty and seemed fresh but portions are very small for the price. Really small rolls and just average. Wouldn t go out of my way to order from here again.
not good but not bad .... but they are struggling to roll their sushi
Sushi rolls are way too pricey for their worth. I ordered 5 large rolls all fit in a small box which shocked me and had to re check my order. To top it off didnt like the taste of the sushi which was not even rolled properly. Never going to order sushi from here again.
Great quick food
Mediocre sushi at best. The lines were long inside so I figured this was a good sushi joint. But to my disappointment not only did it lack in flavour and taste, it was rather expensive. There aren t much alternatives to other sushi joints near by. So it makes sense why people flocked to this location. I guess the locals just got used to mediocrity at best.
Excellent place
Very clean, fast service whether you eat in or phone in for pick up, staff is always friendly and the food is fantastic
Great sushi at a decent price. The daily special is the best deal and usually super quick. The staff is awesome and friendly.
Always a favorite
Consistently good. Busy place with limited seating but they do their best to serve quickly.
Great place!!
This place never disappoints
Good taste!
Out of food. Despite advertising for nabeyaki udon for 12 dollars.
The Chicken Karage Avocado wrap is bomb. Especially for the price. I recommend adding some heat!
Quick and tasty food
Great spot for takeout, fast and friendly. Food is great!
Decent fast-style sushi. Great donburi (especially the beef) for the price. But in my personal opinion the best thing they offer is the spicy agedashi tofu, which is well balanced, crispy and so tasty.
Decent meal to stop by to Whistler.
I love visiting this little cantina-style cafe. Staff are so friendly. Service is fast. I do hope they get a tofu bento box soon though!
Excellent food, you can tell they care about ingredients, price is reasonable.
don t order chicken teriyaki, just had a chicken liver or something gross in there and ruined ny appetite...this was $11. I guess I am used to Vancouver where theres much better sushi. Tossing this away and will go get some better food for lunch.
Food was pretty good except for the miso soup. It was pretty bland.
Honestly worst sushi Ive EVER had. And I am not hard to please when it comes to sushi. My husband and I just ordered 6 Calofornia Rolls and spicy mayo. They dont have cucumbers in them, smelled off. Tasted HORRIBLE! and the spicy mayo was just gross hot sauce mixed with liquid sugar, no mayo whatsoever and inedible. Never ever going back. Wish we turned around and got a refund. The paying system for take out is so slow as well.
Not worth it- and I don t write reviews often. Garbage food for a garbage price
Really delicious and fast!
Pretty good sushi for Squamish at a reasonable price. Lagging compared to the quantity and freshness you can get in Vancouver though.
My favorite Sushi in town!!
Cheap and delicious sushi! Making my favorite food affordable! Bummed that I moved away because this place grounds me.
Nice restaurant
Was very good. Food was awesome as was ambiance
Cheap, fast, good ... the Trifecta
Sushi wrap is a legendary item I cant find in vancouver always stop here when in or passing squamish.
Fresh and very tasty!
Great sushi and service.
Great fast food sushi. This is a great restaurant for a quick lunch or dinner. Lots of people eat here so it s quite busy. The unspoken rule is order, eat, go.
Fast, good food
Average taste, staff is just plain, no friendly. Just one of the girls was nice and she even smiled back at us.
The Sushi was good and great presentation.
Was good food
Possibly the bang:buck in the sea to sky.
Great service, must try eel nigiri
So good
Amazing quick sushi place , it s right off the highway and they have a really good menu with a great assortment of different rolls.
Its okay. Good for quick sushi on the go. Found the portions were small for the price. Sushi was average. The space is kind of cramped. Didnt like the constant lineup at my back while I was eating, but maybe thats just me.
Super quick service. Also great tasting food and as much tea as you want
my fav sushi place gr8 prices good food
Insipid food but they probably stay in business because there arent many restaurants serving sushi in the Whistler/Squamish area.
Was good stuff
Rude waitresses, my older came up 15 minutes before my partner, they served people that came in after us & were not helpful. Not what I expected from them.
Love the ramen and udon bowls!
Busy & tiny but good value
