I recently returned from an unforgettable safari trip to Botswana, and I can't help but rave about the incredible experience we had! Our journey began at a charming guest house in Cape Town that was the perfect cozy spot for us to get to know one another. Then we were off to Botswana and began our safari at Camp Moremi, where we were immediately immersed in the stunning beauty of Botswana's wilderness. The accommodations were luxurious yet perfectly blended into the surroundings, making it feel like we were in the heart of nature. Our hosts, Seb and Brighde, were phenomenal. Their passion and excitement for travel and veganism made our adventure even more enriching. They went above and beyond to ensure comfort, tailoring our activities to our interests and preferences. As they told us to we "turned our brains off" and let them do all the work! Camp Moremi and Savuti offer an unforgettable experience, enriched by the warm hospitality of the local people. From the moment you arrive, you are greeted with genuine smiles and an inviting spirit that makes you feel right at home. The amazing staff at both camps go above and beyond to ensure your comfort and enjoyment, providing personalized service that truly enhances your stay. The knowledgeable guides, with their deep understanding of the land and its wildlife, lead you on extraordinary adventures, uncovering the beauty and magic of the African bush. But let’s get to the food! As a vegan traveler, I was thrilled with the gourmet vegan meals prepared by the talented chefs at both Camp Moremi and Savuti. Each dish was bursting with flavor and creativity, showcasing local ingredients in the most delicious ways. From hearty stews to vibrant salads, it was a daily culinary delight! They even went above and beyond to provide me with special food to accommodate a recent, and very unfortunate, intolerance I have developed. Speaking of incredible experiences, our photographer Jen captured some amazing moments during our wildlife excursions. Her eye for detail and expert direction meant we got some truly breathtaking shots of the animals in their natural habitat, from majestic elephants to elusive leopards. On our way back, we made a stop in Cape Town, where we stayed at a charming guest house that was the perfect sanctuary after our days of adventure. We enjoyed a spectacular sunset that painted the sky in hues of orange and pink, creating a picturesque backdrop that I will never forget. To top it all off, we savored a high-end vegan meal that was as exquisite as the city itself—every bite was a celebration of flavor! This trip was more than just a safari; it was a complete sensory experience filled with adventure, stunning landscapes, new friends, and delicious vegan cuisine. Embarking on a thrilling safari can be a life-changing experience, not just for the breathtaking landscapes and magnificent wildlife, but also for the unexpected friendships that blossom along the way. As you share the wonders of nature—the majestic lions, the graceful elephants, and the stunning sunsets—you'll bond over your shared awe and excitement. Laughter and camaraderie fill the air as you swap travel tales around the campfire, navigating the wilderness side by side. In this captivating setting, strangers become friends, united by the thrill of discovery and the beauty of the wild. Given that we were traveling during an especially contentious time (November 2024) I am so grateful to have been surrounded by "my people" during this time. I highly recommend this journey to anyone looking for an extraordinary getaway. Thank you, Seb, Brighde, and Jen, for making this an unforgettable chapter in my travel stories! I can't wait for my next adventure in the wild!

Absolutely Fantastic! We had the privilege of traveling with World Vegan Travel to Cape Town and Botswana in November. Everything about the experience was perfect! We loved every bit of it - from the top-notch accommodations and amazing activities to of course the food (and there was plenty of it)! Brighde and Seb bring such positivity and infectious energy that really enhanced the whole experience. Their communication and organization was exemplary throughout, allowing everyone to always feel safe and comfortable while having a fantastic time. We also had a great time learning from and hanging out with Jennifer Hadley. She not only taught us an incredible amount about photography but also shared her wealth of animal experiences and encounters. It was also very special getting to know the guides and staff at the amazing camps. They were all incredible people and it was a pleasure to learn not only more about the wildlife from them but also about the history and culture of Botswana. The whole trip exceeded our expectations and we can’t wait to explore with WVT again!

It was a wonderful trip for so many reasons. The tour hosts, Seb and Brighde, designed and managed a wonderful visit to the Tuscan countryside. The places we visited gave us a great range of small Italian hilltowns to larger Tuscan cities, all with their own unique flavor and sites to see. We experienced everything from high Italian art to the beautiful Italian countryside. The agriturismo that we stayed at is a wonderful place with fabulous staff running everything, we really felt totally taken care of. On top of it all we had a great group to tour with and we really bonded through the wonderful shared experience.

Traveling with World Vegan Travel is my favorite way to see the world - I recently completed my 4th trip with the group in 1.5 years! I have traveled to Northern Italy, Botswana, Thailand & Alsace with WVT and each trip has a special place in my heart. Seb and Brighde's attention to detail is impeccable, the accommodations are luxurious, the food is delicious & abundant, and the activities are so much fun! In Thailand, every single day offered a new adventure. We rode bikes, participated in a cooking class, had a day on a catamaran, and toured the canals of Bangkok. One of my favorite aspects of WVT trips is the community of travelers that I have met. I have already coordinated with several of my new friends & fellow WVT travelers to book my next WVT trip. This is the best way to travel!!

Magical is truly an apt description! Everything was planned out with care to detail. Transportation, our wonderful tour guide Muriel, food and accommodations were all luxurious and wonderful! You did not need to be vegan to enjoy the food on this trip. The Christmas markets were wonderful. So glad I went on this trip. Thank you Seb, Brighde, Colleen and David for your wonderful leadership and fun spirit.

What an amazing experience! Our trip to the Alsace Christmas Markets was so well organized down to the tiniest details and was full of little surprises - personal toiletries, signs with our names and lovely, colorful maps of all the places we would go taped to our hotel room doors - little luggage tags with our names, just tiny details that made us feel like a family right off. And the food, my goodness. Everything had obviously been vetted scrupulously so it would be as perfect as possible. And it was. It was a trip to see Christmas markets and see Christmas markets we did - with some history from a guide and historian who rode along with us - and an animal sanctuary and a castle along the way, and the Alsatian winery! and fun games and diversions on the bus. From someone - me - who has planned all our vacations and doesn't want to ever plan another, and for sure doesn't want to search for vegan food - I found the answer in World Vegan Travel. And with Colleen Patrick-Goudreau and cooking lessons and truly inspiring talks, well, it's pretty perfect. Oh - I forgot the Paris surprise - the trip brochure promised a Paris surprise and maybe I shouldn't say in case they do it again, but it was pretty wonderful. Seb and Brighde, the tour leaders, work constantly to make everything perfect. One more thing - there was one traveler who wasn't vegan and I don't think she was even vegetarian but this was her third trip with World Vegan Travel and she said she won't travel with anyone else, and there was a couple who was taking their THIRD! trip this year alone. I get it - you are pretty well pampered. I'm good with that.

This year my husband and I took our second trip with World Vegan Travel, this time to Thailand, and it was every bit as excellent, fun, delicious and well organized as our previous trip to Botswana was with them. Now we know why their trips have so many repeat travellers, and WVT has become our go to source for new adventures. I've already signed up for a WVT trip to summit Kilimanjaro by moonlight. Vegan adventures with like-minded travellers are the best!

My sister and I had a wonderful experience with World Vegan Travel in the Loire and Dordogne River valleys last month. Starting with an open-air bus tour of Paris, complete with accordion music and champagne, the bar was set high and never disappointed. So much to appreciate--the beautiful places we stayed, amazing vegan food at every meal, informative tours of the prehistoric Lascaux and Pech Merle caves, Elephant Haven, castles and charming small towns. Seb and Brighde think of everything, so you don't have to do anything except enjoy the exceptional experiences and the company of people who share your values.

This is a review of World Vegan Travels Vietnam tour.vThis was our fourth trip with WVT and, like the past trips, this one was a wonderful experience. The itinerary was excellent -- starting in Hanoi, then an overnight cruise in the magical Halong Bay, followed by stays in Hue and Hoi An. The tour included visits to places of cultural significance, animal sanctuaries, and unique experiences (like foodie tours, boat rides and jeep tours), We felt like we received a very complete and special view of Vietnamese life. Our tour leaders, Seb and Brighde (who previously lived in Hanoi and know the country well), and our local guide, Chi, were well organized, personable and fun; they made sure everyone had a good time. The food was, of course, vegan and delicious. Indeed, our only complaint is that there was too much food; we needed to learn to pace ourselves at every meal so we could enjoy the next one. Finally, the travelers in our group (and on all our prior WVT tours) were very nice and some have even become traveling friends on other trips. WVTs trips can be a little expensive but they are worth it; it would be much more expensive (and probably impossible) to duplicate the experiences we had on our own. We have already signed up for two more WVT trips which should show how much we like this company and its tours.

What an amazing and unique adventure! I love traveling with World Vegan Travel. Their trips are always wonderful. It s lovely traveling with like-minded individuals and not having to worry about food. The accommodations in Arusha were extremely nice and the glamping during the Climb of Mount Kilimanjaro was fun. SiSi Trekking was so supportive and there were times that I felt like royalty with the cleaning of my shoes and meeting us with juice on the trail after a long day. Victor and his table of tea and treatS in the middle of the wilderness was always a welcomed sight. The food was delicious and nutritious with extensive variety. Chico made dining a treat even on the mountain. The trip was challenging but rewarding and the best moment had to be when Brighde met us on the trail with a truck to drive us to the finish line. Perfection! The after-parties (on the mountain after the trek and back in Arusha) were so much fun! We were clearly the envy of every other trekker who only got a medal for his/her efforts. The gift of a massage (and a facial as my husband chose to forgo his massage) and of washing laundry were just a few other examples of how WVT goes above and beyond to provide an amazing and unforgettable experience!

My husband and I just just had our first adventure traveling with World Vegan Travel and Joyful Vegan. We were completely at ease with the fab four, Brighde, Seb, Colleen, and David. They were with our group in Tuscany every step of the way. Such one on one personal attention had our group feeling like family by the end of the week. The itinerary was perfectly balanced with fantastic time spent in magical places, quiet time, and the most bespoke farm to table meals at Villa I Pini. I am not 100% vegan and I never missed a thing! The food and wine was truly spectacular. You can feel confident traveling with this very special travel group. Happy vegan travels to all!

Meeting like minded, light living souls who made a choice to stay vegan, has been super tough for me. I found the heartiest bunch on this trip to Northern Italy. The meal courses were carefully picked and delicious. The conversations were even more refreshing. The hotels were just perfect. Meeting the very sparkling Colleen, Seb (love his humor), David and Brighde, made me realize why they curate a trip so well. Because it s all HEART. It s the sincerity in their belief. Colleen talks about compassion with absolute passion which was my pivot point 5 years ago. One of the high points was visiting an animal sanctuary, though am quite afraid of even the gentlest cow. It was my 4th trip to Italy, but I did it to experience this energy. And there are but a handful, who create travel journeys with a desire to share the joy of discovery and have a purpose that connects deeply. I am so looking forward to packing my bags for another gorgeous, gourmet trip. Love you all

World Vegan Travel offers the ultimate in worry-free travel. They make sure everything is taken care of from detailed itineraries, to daily schedules, to tips for tour guides, to coins for pay toilets. That leaves you with nothing to do but thoroughly enjoy your trip. Our last day in Tuscany started with a hike along the ancient pilgrims way Via Francigena which allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the Tuscan countryside; next we watched our chef make pizza in a 200 year old oven, and finally we ended with a photo session at sunset in the middle of a vineyard. It couldnt have been more magical! Its impossible to plan a trip that satisfies every single traveller within a group - but Seb and Brighde come as close as one could. They work seamlessly to provide engaging events but also offer the flexibility to go for a wander through a town on your own. You can be as active or as relaxed as you want. And when it comes to the food, they go above and beyond to offer authentic food experiences for a specific destination within a vegan ethos. Our group was not only vegan but SOS (salt, oil, sugar) free and we enjoyed every single food specific to Tuscany and never had to ask what was in one dish or another. It was worry-free from the first email to the last good-bye at the end of the trip. If you ever thought becoming vegan meant your travel adventures were over, your first step should be looking into what World Vegan Travel has to offer.

Magical Christmas in Paris & Alsace 2023 I have so many wonderful things to say about this trip! The attention to detail by Brighde and Seb from World Vegan Travel was incredible. The food was great and the hotels were wonderful. The activities planned for us were fabulous--from the Christmas Markets to the Alternative Wolf and Bear Park to our dinners together. The entire group was fun to be around. We had time together as a group and if you wanted solo time, you had that as well. Thank you to all of the leaders on this trip--Seb, Brighde, Colleen and David and to all of the people that joined the trip. It was so nice to meet new people and spend time with everyone. The leaders and the group made sure no one ever felt left out. I highly recommend World Vegan Travel if you are looking for a group to travel with. I look forward to many more trips with them. We just returned from Tuscany on a World Vegan Travel featuring the Joyful Vegan and this experience that still has me swooning. Brighde, Seb, Colleen and David hosted us at I Pinini, in San Gimignano and it felt indulgent, yet unpretentious as we were the only guests and we felt like it was our own villa. We enjoyed a level of bespoke, graceful, hospitality that pampered us and left us wanting for nothing and they made it look effortless. We made friends, and laughed, walked, explored, sang, danced, learned and even shared our tears at the end because we knew we had just experienced something very special. Oh yes, and indeed we did eat 5-star vegan meals everyday, and a lot of it. This was an incredible value for the price besides there s no way to put a price on not having to worry about ANY details because WVT thought of everything. We re going back, because they re simply the best!

This was the most amazing trip of my life! I cannot believe all the activities they provided to us. And do not even get me started on all the amazingly delicious vegan food! Everything was so well organized and planned - I literally did not have to worry or think about a single detail during this entire trip. The guides (Brighde, Seb, Colleen, and David) were not only amazing hosts, but also truly fantastic and caring human beings. In addition to the guides, I met so many wonderful human beings on this trip and have formed some truly fulfilling friendships with fellow vegans that I hope will last a lifetime. If I could only use one word to describe this trip and my experience it would be EPIC. I cannot travel/vacation any other way unless it is a World Vegan Travel and/or a Joyful Vegan Trip!! I loved my experience so much that I am booked and going on their 2024 Japan trip!! I cannot wait to see Brighde, Seb, Colleen, and David again and to meet more new travel companions. Our trip to Northern Italy completely exceeded our expections. Brighde, Seb, Colleen and David put attention and intention into every aspect of this trip. The joy that the four of them have for traveling together is palpable and infectious, and it set the tone from day one. Brighde and Seb are master tour operators. We were instantly comfortable and confident in their expertise, preparation, and commitment to all the details. And, frankly, we were thrilled to go on autopilot for 10 days and just follow their lead. In Colleen and David, you couldn t ask for better hosts. They are gracious, generous, warm, and welcoming. And a lot of fun, too. We re not sure if we enjoyed our more serious or our more playful conversations more. The itinerary was a perfect balance of city time and nature time. The boat ride on Lake Garda and the hike in the Dolomites on picture-perfect days were highlights for us. And what can you say about Venice other than, is that place for real? All our accommodations were beautiful and first-rate, all the transportation and logistics were seamless, and the local guides were personable and genuinely interested in sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm. We can t rave enough about the incredible and abundant food and wine! Multi-course meals of healthy, colorful, beautiful, delicious and locally-inspired gourmet food; all paired with wonderful local wines. The food on this trip would be a revelation to anyone who thinks that vegans suffer or sacrifice with diets of scarcity and deprivation. Finally, the trip wouldn t have been the same without our fellow travelers. This was our first ever group trip, and we admit to some trepidation going in. But what a fun, fascinating, and compassionate group of people we got to travel with! We all bonded almost immediately; there was lots of laughter, singing, and dancing. When we said our good-byes we couldn t believe we had only just met everyone ten days earlier. We truly hope to stay in touch and meet up again. All in all, the trip was an 11 on a scale of 1-10, and we believe everyone else on the trip would say the same. We re already looking into which World Vegan Travel/Joyful Vegan we want to go on next.

As a solo female traveler, my experience with World Vegan Travel (WVT) in Thailand was not only amazing but also remarkably luxurious. Brighde and Seb impeccably planned every detail, ensuring that the accommodations were exceptionally comfortable, the vegan meals were delightful, and the activities were engaging. Thailand swiftly became a favorite destination, and the overall experience was nothing short of indulgent. Its challenging to pinpoint a favorite moment as connecting with locals and immersing myself in Thai culture was consistently special. For anyone contemplating a WVT trip, my advice is simple: just do it. This tour outshone any Ive taken in terms of both luxury and overall experience. Brighde and Seb went above and beyond to guarantee we had a blast and enjoyed delicious vegan cuisine perhaps even a bit too much! The consistently outstanding vegan food paired with truly luxurious accommodations left me eagerly anticipating my next WVT adventure. Exploring Thailand as a vegan was a foodies dream. From the vibrant streets of Bangkok to the serene landscapes of Chiang Mai and the lush beaches of Phuket, each destination had its unique charm. The Thai chefs impressed me with their exceptional plant-based dishes. Beyond the culinary delights, we had the opportunity to immerse ourselves in Thai culture through cooking classes and vegan-friendly excursions, creating a well-rounded experience that felt just right. In a nutshell, this vegan journey not only set a new standard for travel but also established a benchmark for luxury. Thailands warmth, hospitality, and delectable vegan options won me over completely. It was a fantastic and truly indulgent journey, entirely worth it. A huge thanks to World Vegan Travel for making it so memorable. I cant wait for the next one highly recommended!

Embarking on a vegan adventure through Thailand was nothing short of a gastronomic marvel. From the bustling streets of Bangkok to the serene landscapes of Chiang Mai, to the warm luscious beaches of Phuket, this trip was an exquisite journey that tantalized my taste buds and left me in awe of the vibrant and compassionate culinary scene. Thailands commitment to plant-based cuisine is evident in the diverse array of mouthwatering dishes that redefine the boundaries of vegan dining. Each meal was a symphony of flavors, with aromatic herbs and spices infusing every bite. Standout dishes like Pad Thai made with tofu, Green Curry bursting with fresh vegetables, and Mango Sticky Rice that was pure indulgence showcased the skill and creativity of Thai chefs in crafting plant-based masterpieces. The commitment to sustainability in Thailand is commendable. Many restaurants we visited embraced eco-friendly practices, from using locally sourced ingredients to minimizing waste - there was so much great food we hated anything going to waste. Our accommodations were nothing short of opulent havens for the vegan traveler. From the lush hotel in the heart of Bangkok to an exquisite eco-resort nestled in the lush jungles of Chiang Mai, to the opulent resort in Phuket, each stay offered a perfect blend of comfort and consciousness. Thoughtful touches like cruelty-free amenities and plant-based breakfast spreads added an extra layer of luxury to our already extraordinary experience. Beyond the culinary delights, our journey immersed us in the rich tapestry of Thai culture. Cooking classes allowed us to learn the art of crafting traditional vegan dishes, forging a deeper connection with the local way of life. Thailands natural beauty served as a breathtaking backdrop. Each destination offered a unique blend of tranquility and excitement. Vegan-friendly excursions, such as ethical elephant sanctuary, Gibbon rescue organization, and the Soi Dog rescue Foundation allowed us to experience the beauty of Thailand while staying true to our values. In conclusion, my vegan journey through Thailand was a sensory delight, a feast for the palate, and a celebration of a culture that seamlessly blends tradition with modern values. This trip has set a new standard for vegan travel, proving that a plant-based lifestyle can be not only sustainable but also a five-star culinary experience. Thailand, with its warmth, hospitality, and delectable vegan offerings, has truly won my heart.

I had the pleasure of traveling with WVT 10/2021. We did so much in 10 days I felt like I was on vacation for a month. They go above and beyond for their travelers (i.e. a traveler was sick while on our way to an excursions and unbeknownst to us they managed to get a car service to meet us along the route to take care of her). We never noticed the caious they went through to make that happen. I traveled alone but felt like part if the group the entire time. Love the new friends I made and look forward to my next trip with them 6/2022.
