Food is great and reasonably priced. Biggest surprise was the lasagna which is a must try.

Apparently, the owner/manager makes servers pay out of their own pocket for people who ditch on their bill. Disgusting and ILLEGAL behavior.

Tuesday wings do I need to say more ?

Its a little old and run down, but you cant beat the pricing for drinks. The food menu hasnt changed in over 20 years, but theres a pretty good selection on it and the prices are reasonable on everything but the appys. (9 wings shouldnt cost $16) Quality of service is mixed. Some servers are on top of things all the time while others can leave you waiting for 10 minutes or more for service. Overall, its a good place to meet up with friends and have a good time.

This is a classic English style pub. Dark wood interior, low lighting, seniors and young adults, darts, pool, sports on tv, vlts and great food and drink specials. Bee coming here 18 years now. Wings special is Tuesday!

Went for the game and wings. Usually, it is a great place for a friendly casual outing with really decent food. The wings were not edible (this time), but everything else was fine.

Big shout out to Lanka the incredible server that we met last night . What an incredible employee you have in her. She is everything you look for in a server . Friendly , attentive and very personable . The place was packed last night and she served flawlessly always smiling and chatting with the patrons. All this while being VERY pregnant !!!! Look after this ALLSTAR she s worth her weight in GOLD !!!!

Been coming here since my 18th, April 2009, and havent stopped yet, while having high restaurant standards. There isnt many pubs thatll actually cook a pubsteak rare, but crown will get it done. Great service and food. Lastly get the crown lager.

Weve been coming to the same party for four years now and in no way is that depressing.

This is a mainstay of St. Albert. Ive been coming here since 2014, and the quality has been maintained throughout. Its a classic pub with everything a person needs. They have a large open dining/drinking area, VLTs, pool tables, darts, televisions, and attentive staff who dont keep you waiting. The Serving counter stretches out into the dining area, resembling a tower somewhat, and it is great because you can get order quickly without having to line up behind others. I recommend the wings, but youll be fine no matter what food you order, to be honest. It really is an all-around great place. Crown & Tower has outlasted every other bar in St. Albert, more or less, and I expect that theyll be there for the foreseeable future. This place gets packed on the weekends with folks of all ages, it really gives off a community vibe.

Its a great place for a 55year old guy like me.

Something is getting wrong with this location which is too bad. The food quality is getting worse and quantity doesn t match with the prices It is not normal to (for our group) to have to return two meals (first one because the changes asked were no done properly and the second one was simply not edible). Hopefully this situation will improve.

Favourite neighborhood hangout

Oilers game night and Karaoke after! Couldnt ask for a better Friday night. The ladies behind the bar really work to make sure the night goes well for everyone. Thanks for the experience! Oilers lost which made the night extra special.

Ive been coming for many years only stopped during the COVID 19 outbreak forced the place to close for a lengthy time but Im back enjoying this place.

Probably a really nice place, but hours are incorrect, went out for a late night and it was closed. Arrived at 11:50 PM and website said it was open until 2AM, big disappointment considering the Uber money I spent

Fun atmosphere for a neighbourhood pub. We had excellent attentive service from our server,Tabitha; who was personable and efficient. One of our entrees (fish & chips) wasnt made as described in the menu which is why I selected it. It was neither tempura or beer batter, but more like the cook used frozen highliner from the grocery store! Tabitha acknowledged this and took it off our bill. Thats good customer service.

Bring back the good old burger buns and original delicious bratwurst. Avoid the bagged salad as well. People need to eat healthy. Less preservatives... always enjoyed the food but have noticed some cut backs.

Terrible service.Servers are so rude, did nothing wrong and she told me last call is whenever I say it is when it says were open till 2 am..... so rude.

Been attending the crown for over 29 years. Its always a great place to catch up with friends, coworkers, and family for a social drink. Staff is always warm and welcoming, great customer service. Couple things need to change. 12 draft heads and NO craft beers at all. So many competitors carry 5-6+ craft selections. My only other critique is breaded chicken wings. Not a fan. Gone are the days when the crown used to bring in fresh chicken wings. They used to be sooooo good. Best wings in St. Albert.

We used to go here almost every Sunday after work. A couple Sundays ago, we showed up and they were closing at 945pm (last call was already done). There were 8 of us. So we went to a different bar.

Would have been a great regular spot but the hours are inaccurate and you cant be sure if itll be open if you come after 10pm. Used the bathroom last visit and a super drunk bar patron was aggressive to another guy in the mens bathroom. Just started harassing this guy for no reason. I went out for a smoke, came back and a worker was talking to the guy that got yelled at. Didnt see him again but drunk guy was there when I left.

Deep fried chicken wings juicy and tender. Their sandwich in tasty ciabatta bun is yummy paired with their delicious vegetable soup. This place is our hangout during Oilers hockey game. The servers are friendly. Food ad drinks are served in a timely manner ....

Perfect neighborhood pub. Been coming in here almost every week for the past while and have never been let down. Great prices and arguably the best pub style wings Ive ever had consistently. There almost always is a quality food and drink special happening which makes choosing something to have (the bane of my existence) super easy because I know its going to be good no matter what.

Was looking for a new venue to enjoy some wings and beer. Well I must say I ve found my new special place right here is St.Albert. The wings were delicious and the Bartender was very polite and extremely busy. We sat at the bar which turned out to be a bonus. As we enjoyed our beers and delicious un-breaded wings, we observed how efficient and smooth the staff interacted with each other.The place was packed as it was game night, but the staff worked like clock work. The bartender was amazing to watch, multi tasking tapping 2 beers at once very effective. We will certainly be back in the near future, did I say how delicious those wings were. And the high point the price is very reasonable, which warrants my return visits. Well done Crown & Tower...

Great food the service is just as good . Biggest down fall is there is 1 guy that is always there with a gym bag . He stares you down makes us feel uncomfortable .

What a happening place, where some other chain pubs seem less busy we barely found a place to sit, it had a great vibe . It won t win any interior design awards, but you go to visit with friends, not to marvel on architecture. Their food portions were generous, their beer prices reasonable, even had a beer special on wing night. Try that anywhere else. Server was amazing and she was busy, Looks like we found our new wing night and perhaps drop in location, hope we can get a table. Good job Crown and Tower.

Stopped in for a couple drinks and food with my brother had soup and sandwich for lunch it was excellent.

Wow, fries are adorably terrible (like home cooked fries). More than made up for by The Warrior Burger. This burger features 2 full size 8 oz burgers, bacon, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes. A fellow patron yells thats heartburn on a plate! It was heaven.

One of the best pubs in St. Albert. They have excellent quality food for a neighborhood pub and easily the best prices on food in town. They have lots of appealing daily deals for food as well as drinks. The place has a cozy atmosphere and consistent service. A great place to be when its busy on a Friday or Saturday night. Itll be great when Covid is behind us and they can stay open late again. Love this place! Definitely recommend the Crown & Tower!

Before the recent COVID restrictions we were in the area and decided to get takeout from the Crown and Tower. I called in an order from the parking lot and was given a ready time. When I went in to pay and pickup the server was so helpful and friendly. I thought the pricing of the food was really good and the food was fairly typical pub food but we enjoyed it. The fries and onion rings tasted great however the burgers appeared to be cooked from frozen however if it was not then maybe they were a little over cooked, but either way we did enjoy the treat! Unfortunately it is temporarily closed however we will certain order again once it reopens. Thank you to the server (sorry I dont recall her name)... Really helpful and nice lady!!

As this is our neighbourhood pub, needless to say we have been going for drinks and food for some 20+ years. We always enjoyed the great service and ambiance but I must say that over the last few months, since reopening after Covid, the food is not up to the usual standard! We were there today, and again the Crown and Tower burger was small and did not have that grilled taste that we have enjoyed in the past, and the fries were soggy and greasy! Something has changed in the kitchen and not for the better! As usual the servers were fantastic!

This is where I had my first beer and had been a solid establishment ever since. This is the go to place after any sporting event or activity. Specials every night and staff that are always welcoming. Def recommend to grab a beer with the boys.

Amazing little pub, great environment & their happy hour is incredible with great prices. We had the cauliflower bits, & they were extremely delicious !! The service was impeccable, some of the best I ve experienced. Will definitely be returning.

My wife and I had been searching for a cozy pub when we stumbled across The Crown and Tower. The prices are reasonable, the portion sizes are great, and the food itself is well crafted pub food. Fantastic servers and homely atmosphere. This is now our go-to pub!
