We had our staff Christmas party and were served an amazing 7 course meal! The food was delicious and beautiful! They do private events and opened their restaurant just for us for the evening and it was an amazing experience. Highly recommend! Cant wait to try their brunch menu!
Run, don’t walk, to this new breakfast and lunch spot in St Albert! In a market with such high expectations and massive competition, this place shines. Amazing food, great cozy atmosphere, creative dishes and drinks (including a beautiful boozy London fog that is a must try!) and a super friendly and welcoming staff! We will definitely be back!
My first time out to wildroots today and it’s safe to say I’ll be going again. They’ve done an amazing job setting the ambience of the space, the staff were all so welcoming and the food was next level. My mom and I got the mushroom toast and the ricotta toast and added an egg each and we were so pleased. We weren’t able to finish our servings because it was so filling! I highly recommend :) their special gingerbread cookie latte was also outstanding, the gingerbread cookie on top was just spiced enough!
Just a wonderful breakfast in St Albert! Great menu choices and a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy them in. Flavours were fantastic and seasoning was excellent. Can’t wait for the patio next summer! Try the brisket Benny, you won’t be disappointed.
Absolutely amazing little brunch spot! Exactly what down town St.Albert needed. They really make you feel like you are having a dining experience with their family. The food was amazing! I had the best panzanella salad it was so fresh and paired great with the mushroom toast, which was so rich. Can't wait to go back and try the eggs Benedict! We also had some amazing cappuccinos, I am usually pretty picky with my coffee and these really hit the spot. The atmosphere is such a vibe, can't wait to see what they are going to do with the place!
An Absolute Gem!!! If you are looking for perfect spot to indulge in amazing food, delicious coffee, and friendly service, look no further than Wildroots Bistro! Atmosphere instantly makes you feel at home or like visiting your best friend. The food here? Simply incredible! Every dish is crafted with care, delivering fresh, vibrant flavors that satisfy from the first bite to the last. The portions are generous and fulfilling! You can truly feel the chef's passion and high standards in every meal. And let's talk about coffee! This place understands what's good coffee is! It's rich, smooth, and impeccable crafted - honestly, some of the best coffee I've tasted (will admit I think I over coffinate myself there because coffee was way too good and I may or may not ordered one cup too much). Whether you're a latte aficionado or an espresso purist, they got you covered with drinks that are perfectly extracted, highlighting every subtle note and nuance in the beans. If you wondering which dish to try first I would suggest Shortrib Fricassee, but all dishes I tried I will order again. All in all, Wildroots Bistro is must-visit! Whether you're catching up with friends, enjoying a solo coffee break, or celebrating a special occasion, this place has it all- delicious food, incredible coffee, and untamed service. I can't wait to return!
We’ve been eagerly waiting for Wildroots to open, peeking in the window from time to time — and today we finally had our first visit. We were in no way disappointed. The former location of Cerdo Taqueria is almost unrecognizable after a thorough renovation, in a most marvellous way. Wildroots is run by a husband-and-wife team, where chef Tony creates artful and innovative dishes in full view from an open kitchen and Chelsea performs acrobatics to ensure every customer is delighted — never an easy feat, much less just a few days after opening. And delighted we were. I thoroughly enjoyed a Breakfast Pizetta, which is like a small arabiatta and ham pizza that has blissfully collided with eggs Benedict — including perfectly poached eggs under the blanket of a home-run hollandaise. My wife loved the Gnocchi Carbonara: incredible house-made potato gnocchi with decadent smoked duck confit and fresh arugula. And our girls devoured an Eggs Benedict Florentine (with heirloom tomato slice) and Garlic Toast, which is an incredibly understated description of a crispy focaccia slice served with garlic butter, delicious herb confit and melted cheese. Everything was purely delightful. The new décor is elegant and we loved the compilation of hand-thrown pottery from the owners’ travels paired with comfortable modern utensils and flanked by Chelsea’s heirloom glasses. St. Albert has been quickly transforming into a hotbed of varied and impressive breakfast and brunch spots, and we were ecstatic to claim a table in our new favourite.
Cutest coffee brunch spot downtown St. Albert. Coffee is the rich creamy Colombian roast, and the eggs are bomb. Brought my two littles and they ate their plates clean (and asked for more of the “best eggs ever” haha). They also have fresh baked bread with browned butter.
Had my office Christmas party here last night. They do private events and they do them so well. The food was incredible. The service as well. Would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you so much for making myself and my team feel so special.
My husband and I went for a lunch date here today. The food was delicious! Great portion size too. Will be back for many more brunches!
What a lovely little spot. I got the Mushroom toast with a black coffee and it was delicious, filling with great ambiance and service.
Good food, service and atmosphere but definitely overpriced. Sadly 2/3 expensive hot drinks were served lukewarm.
The food in this little gem is truly amazing! The thoughtfulness of the preparation, the ingenuity of menu choices and the prices, all incredible. If youre looking for a chef forward, comforting and unique menu , this should be at the top of your list.

We booked this restaurant for a private event and the food and service was incredible! In fact, their take on a Black Forest cake included sour cherries from a staff member s tree! But let s talk about the coffee. I pride myself as being a coffee snob, it was the best latte I have ever had! Better than Starbucks. So just go, you won t regret it. Oh and they accommodated food allergies!
An AMAZING local restaurant with impeccable service, and INCREDIBLE food. Our private event was a culinary experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

The perfect little brunch spot in St.Albert with great food and the coziest vibe !! We had the cheese toast which comes on probably the best focaccia I have ever had! The Panzanella salad was recommended and I could eat it every day! It was very flavorful and refreshing! The breakfast pizza and the short rib benny are outstanding. I highly recommend trying everything on the menu, you cant go wrong. I already cant wait to go back! This is truly a little gem!

The food was absolutely amazing, came in over the weekend and was delicious. Only flaw experienced was it took over 45 minutes to get our salad then hit the 50 minute mark for the other 2 plates (garlic toast and eggs benny) which was very long. Server was really great. Perhaps an off bad/day for timing.
Superior food and presentation; busy lunch crowd with calm staff who reminded us there was on chef and to expect a wait. If you can call 20 min for amazing food a wait . Best chocolate mousse ever.
Sooo good!!! We went first thing at 9am with two little toddlers. They were super accommodating. Maybe some of the best food I have had in St.Albert. Well developed flavor. Highly suggest!
Went twice over the weekend, having lamb Sausage, mussels, dill pickle soup, a toast as well as an eggs Benedict. Absolutely not let down by a thing, you can tell very much they care about their craft. Not to mention the cocktail side of the menu we tried, there wasn t a miss, totally to die for. 10/10 would recommend!
Enjoyed a wonderful breakfast with my girlfriends. We indulged in their cocktails, shared a plate of sour dough bread... the brown butter was fantastic! Then each had our own breakfast plate. We left full and extremely satisfied. Food was great and service was attentive and friendly. Thank you!

We have been to wildroots a few times now. Each time, it gets better and better. The food is amazing. Its fresh. Its different from other restaurants, and it makes you crave it when you dont have it. The service is great. Everyone there is so friendly. So welcoming. I have a toddler, and I know that there isnt any judgment. They are very accommodating. The atmosphere is so calm and relaxing. Its not in your face. Its just right. & I love that it is all local. All in all, I would 100% recommend it, and I will be back.
Very cute little bistro in Downtown St.Albert. Good service and good food! They opened about a month ago. Our meals were very tasty! Probably the best caramel latte Ive had! Will be back!
We had a wonderful brunch at Wildroots! The Americanos were amazing and we also had the eggs florentine and the vegetarian breakfast pizza (what an awesome creation!). The flavours were impeccable and staff were prompt and very welcoming. We brought our 3 month old son and found the restaurant to be very child friendly. Definitely a brunch spot you don t want to miss out on! Vegetarian options: There were plenty if vegetarian options to choose from.

Really great, fresh food! I enjoyed the crab Benny and the mushroom toast the most. Def one of the best places in St. A for good quality lunch. Would recommend!

We didnt have the time (or a calm child) to stay for lunch so we went for a coffee. There is a good range of teas available for my British in-laws and I had a latte which was lovely, and a highchair for our toddler. The place had a great buzz about it with a lot of people who were enjoying, what looked like gorgeous lunch. Staff were very friendly and attentive when it came to table service. Next time we will try to be child free so we can eat!!! Dietary restrictions: Skinny latte available for my MIL who is always on a diet! Kid-friendliness: Easy for kids to sit on the bench seats and a high chair was available.
A lovely addition to downtown st.albert. Everything chef Tony makes is delicious and will have you scraping and licking the bottom of the plate. I ve been twice and they ve only been open a week now. Don t miss out on getting a coffee or latte. Probably the best in the city!
Amazing experience. My wife and I love the vibe of the place. Our food was so tasty. My favorite is the pansanella salad and the Benedict. Thanks for the delicious capacino. WildRoots is a wonderful brunch establishment. We are excited to go back again!

Wildroots is just what St.Albert needed! The atmosphere is relaxing, staff wonderful and the owners are so personable. Food was out of this world! Can not recommend this new hip brunch bistro enough! YUM!
One word - WOW! The food was exceptional fresh, flavourful dishes with local ingredients beautifully (we had the panzella salad, mushroom toast & crab benny). The service was top-notch; we were so happy to recognize Tony & Chelsea from a former St.Albert restaurant! They made us feel right at home. Overall, it was an awesome family lunch outing, we I can t wait to return. Highly recommend this gem!
