Always a great time, had Joe bartending for us and did a great job. Strong hospitality, quick on drinks and kept us happy all night

Honestly, love Central but I ve had enough bad service from Warren (the bartender) that I finally had to mention it. If he likes you, you get served quickly, if not, don t expect anything from him besides side eyes and rude passive aggressive behaviour. Not sure what his issue is but if there are any other bartenders on that night, sit in that section.

Worst looking and tasting dill pickle salad ever eaten. Salad looked like the ingredients were thrown on the plate. Huge pieces of lettuce big as my hand. I am disabled and the restroom was too small to accommodate my walker. I could not find a handicap washroom. Food

We have ladies nights out whenever the UFC fights are on. The food is always tasty, environment is great and the service is fantastic. Last Saturday we came out and had an exceptionally friendly and helpful server, thank you Teslyn!

A must-try is The Cure We had great meals. Service was good but couldnt see our nice server often so I had to go get cutlery for us then a steak knife then extra napkins. Thank goodness these were out in the open so I could grab them . Everyone is allowed to have an off day. Kid-friendliness: Having a kids menu is great! Hard to find grilled cheese in most places. Would be nice if they offered milkshakes.

Sat for 15 minutes 2 servers walked by me 3 times without even acknowledging me. This was on a Monday where it was seat yourself. I eventually got up and left without even being acknowledged by a single staff member. Poor service and atmosphere

This location has been amazing, the service is always top tier, the quality of drinks and food has consistently exceeded expectations. The management (Jeremy and Steve-o) will make you feel welcomed as valued customers. The bang for the buck you will leave you happy . Definitely a no brainer if in St Albert. 10/10 would recommend! Side note - get the fries tossed in the Cajun seasoning if you want a little extra kick

Very much a chain restaurant, but bless them for being the only place in St Albert open late when date night falls on a weekday! Unfortunately my steak sandwich was a little gristle-ey but otherwise our food and drinks were really tasty. Kid-friendliness: Theres no world in which I would bring my kids here. Mostly because I dont want you to bring your kids here lol Let a girl have date night in peace!

Ive spent hundreds of dollars here in the past and was pleased. Yesterday evening arrived half an hour early for Oilers game. I was in a small line of 8 people all to be turned away from the entire place being reserved with name cards out including at the bar. There were 20 people there. I asked if the bar was reserved too or if there was anywhere to sit alone and watch the game. Hostesses said everything is reserved and youll have to go elsewhere. Not cool to turn away business when restaurant is empty. What ever happened to first come first serve. Have fun turning away business. I took my business to Boston pizza who accomodated me.

By far the best Central location in the Capital Region. Amazing, friendly service and food and drinks are delicious. They also support other local businesses with raffles and draws.

Everything was top notch. My only disapppintment was their prices did not match the menu that came up on OpenTable but everything has gone up recently so its not a surprise. I got the white sangria (perfecly balanced) and the honey chicken sandwich (very nicely battered). My friends and I were on the patio for a couple hours (alone, it wasnt busy) and the servers did not make us feel like we were overstaying our welcome. I can see this becoming our new monthly meeting spot!

Went there for a pint and some dessert. Staff was very friendly and kind. And the beer was tasty after a long day.

Came for happy hour. 9pm Drinks were what you expect. Had a few. Food was cold! Like actually out of the fridge. (Fries and kettle chips) Not worth the wait to reorder so we ate what was brought and left. My tip reflected the food.

Service slow this time. Not enough staff to cover nucanmber of customers. Washrooms subpar. Quality of food subpar and a little overpriced for amount of food. Quality overall has diminished over the last few months. Am a regular customer and tip above average. Mar. 29/24. Been a regular at this location for years ( About six years to be exact). LOVE!! the staff, atmosphere. Certainly the welcoming attitude.. although I would like some more minor menu changes. I live in North Edmonton. Have no problem traveling the distance for good service, food and hospitality.

We had a group of six for their Chefs Table that was to include selection of signature food and cocktails and desserts, personally hosted by member of the central call culinary team . We had no idea what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. We were seated in a private room with our own TV to watch the hockey game, Sara our server/chef was absolutely amazing. Polite, Very efficient with attention to detail, packaged our leftovers individually to take home. It was a lot, I mean a lot, of a very good food. We started with truffle fries and dip with glass of Prosecco, spicy maple Brussels sprouts were excellent, Berta beef sushi, truffle mushroom linguine, Social Butterfly cocktail, barbecue chicken, potatoes and caesar salad, beef sliders, and homemade doughnuts with a wonderful rosemary icing glaze. Jeremy the manager checked in with us on arrival, mid-meal and at the end. It was my birthday, we were there around 3 hours and enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks for making my birthday extra special.

Every time my husband and I come we have incredible service, the bartenders are kind and attentive. Theyre Wake up call drink is a drink made from heaven, its amazing and truly lives up to the name. Happy this place is so close to home!

The food was DELICIOUS!!! But I have a couple complaints about the service. Me and my wife went here to have a nice dine in dinner and our server who was nice didnt seem to be anywhere when we needed service. In fact the person from the kitchen who brought us our food was more helpful than her. We got by, but what really got me was the attitude after we paid. Now not everyone has the money to leave big tips especially to servers who cant do there job. I would have loved to come back and make bigger tips, but that one waitress who gossiped to her fellow employees really ruined the experience. As we walked out that night the waitresses by the bar just starred at us with disgusted looks.

We went in for lunch today, we waited to be seated for a few minutes and then once we were seated, we didn t have a server come take our order, we waited over 20 mins. Didn t even come to get a drink order or anything. Nor did anyone say anything as we walked out. Not sure if just an off day with who was working today, as it wasn t busy on a Wednesday at 2pm. Disappointing as we have supported central in st.albert through covid, even had our rehearsal dinner last year.

Food is consistently good -comes out hot and quickly. Good drink selection, prices are what youd expect these days for an eat in burger. Last night, Hostesses/servers at front door were more interested in talking to their guy friends than acknowledging we were waiting to be taken to a table. Our table server was great tho!

Took forever for our server to give us menus, then took forever for her to get drinks, take our orders. When we went to order I said I wanted the Ronald off the happy hour menu and she said okay. The food took forever and was cold when it came to our table and was clearly sitting in the window. Our blonde server kept ignoring us when I tried to call her over for a refill or box for our food. When the bill came she charged me full price when I specifically stated i wanted the happy hour item. She then tried to fight me about the price and yelled at me when I gave her no tip after horrible service. Will never go back. They yell at patrons. Lol

Waitress and service was great but the main part of our dinner was truly disappointing. I ordered the Barnyard Burger-while the fries and everything ON the burger was fresh and tasty I don t think I have ever eaten a more charred and DRY beef burger. Husband had the Chicken Burger and the chicken breast was sliced so THIN that the lettuce and tomatoe on the bun were thicker. When a breast is sliced that thin it s hard to retain any of its juices so it was DRY. However the onion rings he ordered with it were delicious! So in conclusion-excellent fries and onion rings but for approximately $60.00, the handhelds were disappointing. Waitress was lovely but we won t be returning. New cook??

We had my Moms birthday/retirement party last night and booked the private room. The staff and service were absolutely amazing. Our server Shealyn was phenomenal, the manager, Taylor was so accommodating and wonderful. Warren the bartender was awesome! Food was fantastic. 10 out of 10 would do again for any event. Thank you all for helping make this night so incredible!!

I understand that its a pub but the lights were very dim (Im not here for a romantic dinner) Servers were very friendly but service was slow. Food is on the expensive side for what they offer but it was very good.

Food was fine, drinks were made pretty poorly. Ive had the old fashioned at another location (ellerslie) and it was killer. The ones here were undrinkably sweet. Had the chicken sandwich and it was good. The fries were great with the garlic dip.

Came in because I was craving my favourite cocktail, The London. My cocktail was amazing but my service was even better! Ryiah was my server, she was attentive, friendly, and knew what she was doing. She made us feel like we were just out with a friend, will definitely be returning and asking for her!

The server was awesome unfortunately I do not remember her name. The manager Jeremy was so kind to me and my date he made sure we were having a great time and also gave us a free dessert after I told him it was my first time there. I had a backyard burger but it was underwhelming due to it being over cooked but other than that it was a great experience.

My wife and I were in for a night out Saturday in what is usually a fun welcoming environment seemed all but that. The male bartender with long hair, seemed to either be having a bad day, or hated his job or life. He seemed very miserable, like he just didn t want to be there and hated serving us. Grumbled to take my wife and I s order and was just acting like an all-round bellend. If that s not the right job for you sir move on, no one s asking for you to put on a show, but be pleasant, it reflects very poorly on central social hall St. Albert and all of its wonderful staff that we have encountered over the years. We will still be back to central St. Albert to give it another chance (since the majority of staff) have been nothing short of excellent. However if we have another experience or two like that, we will have to look at other options.

Great food, great atmosphere! Abby is an amazing server, along with the rest of the staff. It s great with smaller kids and for a grown up night out. The kids always ask to go back!

This is definitely one of my fave places for appy s and a drink in St. Albert. Love the atmosphere, food is always amazing, staff are pleasant! Would definitely recommend stopping in for a bite.

I do not like the online menu because it appears to limit the selection. Paper menus were provided on request. I enjoyed my backyard burger, and they were accommodating to our requests to modify the dishes and provide extra condiments. My daughter had steak and potatoe bites, and the potatoes tasted a little freezer burnt. I didnt get to try the steak because she ate it all. Was a little loud for my liking, but we all enjoyed the experience

After some miscommunication regarding a skip the dishes order in which a bottle of wine and avocado in a dish was not included. I was helped more than adequately by the team at Central Social Hall. Jeremy, the manager on duty took care of me this evening by replacing the entire meal with a gift card as well as giving me a bottle of wine. I tried to reflect this with Skip the dishes that they did a great job. However, I was not able to change the review. Thus, I am leaving a review here on Google to say I appreciate and support this establishment and their buffalo chicken bowl is one of my favorite meals. Thank you!!

Went in for Sunday brunch with a friend. Our waitress was excellent, friendly and personable. Service could have been a little faster at times but it was quite busy so I understand the delay. I ordered the new brown butter sage gnocchi. It is served with bacon and kale. I found it very salty and lacking in flavour, other than salt. We shared an order of Belgian waffles for dessert and the kitchen was kind enough to split it in half on separate plates for us. It was also split on our bills which we agreed was a nice touch! The Belgian waffle came with a delightful strawberry rhubarb compote, whipped cream and syrup. It was delicious

Popped by for a quick bite. We shared the Irish burger, it was delicious! The service was super slow. It took a long time to place our order, the food came quickly. But we waited for an eternity to pay the bill, finally just put cash on the table and left.

Absolutely terrible customer service, with nothing but attitude from the host to the waitress to the manager. And the food is just awful. After the first terrible time of snobby attitude, I swore never to go back, and gave them one more try and the attitude was even worse. I ll never go back again. There s a reason the place is empty most nights and it starts with the awful staff there.

The cheese bread is sooo good! I already want more! Good atmosphere, good service, and a pretty nice menu selection. Well kept interior and plenty of seating. I wish they had more trivia on their tv, its nice to read!

I was pleasantly surprised at how good this was. I was taken here for a birthday breakfast and it was the absolute best. Service was terrific, we were not rushed, food was hot and the potatoes were the best Ive ever had and they treated me to a special on their dessert menu. I dont give five star reviews often but this place deserves five stars. I highly recommend you give it a try.

I was hoping tacos would be on the menu for lunch but took a chance on their avocado toast Benny. This Benny doesnt have mayo like most bennies and I loved it. I also appreciate that they get their coffee from Roasti. My companion ordered the fried chicken Benny and was quite happy with his meal as well. Nice take on brunch and our server was great.

Had a great experience here with our family. We were served by Taylor (I hope I spelled that right) and she was by and far one of the best waitresses we have ever met. The manager had also made a point to stop by the table at the start of the meal and apologize for a very small delay in getting a waitress which is also something I ve never experienced. The food was great and our picky children finished their meals without complaint. This is by and far the best service we have ever experienced at a restaurant. We will definitely be coming back here the next time we are in town!

Went here for lunch with 15 of my coworkers, and the service was amazing! Samantha was quick and efficient, all of our orders came out perfect with no mistakes. Everyone spoke very highly of the food, especially the chicken sandwich. Another server, Lily, was kind enough to treat us to some warm donuts after our meal. The manager, Taylor, was very kind and visited us at our table to bring us the donuts himself! It was my first time at this location and it was definitely one of the best restaurant experiences ive had. We will be back!

We ordered the Thai Noodle Salad Bowl with chicken $22 All I can say is it tasted like coleslaw with vermicelli noodles, didnt see any peanuts and like maybe half of a half of chicken breast Have had other food here before, before Covid and was happy, disappointed with this dish and am wondering if the other dishes suffer from the lack of quality The service was great and its and its comfortable place to eat

I love have a beer here, and their gluten-free Ronnie burger is amazing. I have Celiac and cannot eat McDonalds. They make their version of a Big Mac and its jsut like I remember them when I was able to ear gluten.

Every time I come here something goes wrong when the food comes out lol 2 times we ve had our orders mixed up and this last time my food didn t even come out at all Luckily the manager made up for it but get it together.

Really love being able to take my kid out with friends. Twice now I have been completely forgotten by my server. Drinks come, food comes, and then nothing. No offer of refills. No check ins. Both times I have had to stand for 10+ minutes trying to get my servers attention in order to pay. I dont know if it is that the restaurant is under staffed, or if there is another contributing factor. We keep trying though, because the drink specials are good and the layout and atmosphere is conducive to get together with groups.

I was staying in town with my sister visiting with friends. Central social seemed to be the middle ground for all my friends. I was able to reserve a table through open table and get seated. Drinks were reasonably priced. Food was meh. General Manager was helpful. I came from and live in Vancouver. If you go to *any* Tap and Barrel in Vancouver, whether its on Lonsdale Quay, Granville Island, Olympic Village... you know youll get good consistent food, great happy hour specials, and a bit pricey drinks with a great view. Aside from the drinks, theres very little here. You should come to Vancouver and see what a Tap and Barrel offers. Definitely will never come back here again. :(

I was first introduced to Central Social (St. Albert) a few years ago when a company I was dealing with asked me to join them for lunch here. They made a point of telling me that this was their place of choice for entertaining clients. Since that day I have returned countless times, entertaining our own clients at lunch meetings, and as favorite place to go with friends and family. I am a bit of a foody and never have trouble finding things to satisfy my broad range of tastes. The menu changes, or at least some of the items change on a reasonable schedule so there is usually something new and interesting to try. Sadly, this on occasion means something I really took a liking to disappears but is invariably replaced with something awesome. The atmosphere for lunch, afternoon escapes and evening is wonderful, a surprising number of medium and large groups, both company gathering and personal gather there what seems like daily and they add a fun energy. The service right from the minute you walk in the door to when you leave has always been extremely friendly, sincere, and efficient. I have never had to wait either too long, feeling neglected or overwhelmed with attention. Keep up the great work SCH, I will be back in a day or two to relax on the patio or maybe, try that famous brunch I have heard so much about and have yet to take in. Parking: Right off St. Albert Trail, if it is a busy day and the lot is full there is plenty of free street parking right behind the building

I have always had nothing but a good experience when I come to central! All of the staff, from the hostess to the managers, always have great customer service and make the experience enjoyable. The food is always the amazing, particularly the honey crunch chickens sandwich, and the drinks are delicious. Would always recommend to anyone in the St. Albert area.

Kim and all the other servers are all so amazing at there job and so polite to make it the most enjoyable place to hang out in.

My favorite pub in St. Albert. The bartenders and servers are the best in the business! They are friendly, helpful and courteous. I have always enjoyed my time at CSH and I will visit as much as I can. Highly recommended!

Our group was able to use the private room at Central Social Hall St Albert. This was a good choice as we were able to circulate and chat. The service was very good and we were glad to take advantage of Happy Hour!

We had a delicious meal, once again, at the St Albert location. Courtney, our server, was fantastic! Just the right amount of attention, knowledgeable about all the dishes and drinks, and even a few of her own specials. Thank you! Steak and potato bites, brussels sprouts, and maple chicken wings were very tasty. All the staff were friendly and professional. Bathrooms were clean, and tables were cleared and cleaned promptly when folks were finished and left. We left wondering why we dont come here more often.

Ive been coming to Central for a little while now, always good food and good staff! Because of how amazing Courtney D was today, Im writing this review and will sit in her section next time we stop by.

Managers were accommodating of our specific NFL draft needs, all staff were friendly, the service, timing and quality were all met and Tasha was an amazing waitress. Nice spot & highly recommended for any occasion!

My family came in on Sunday, and no waiting got seats right away. The waitress we had was excellent, and all our dishes were fresh and delicious. Ill be a return customer.

We had fantastic service by the hostess and our bartender (male, had hair pulled back in a ponytail, not sure of his name), and our food was piping hot and amazing. It s nice to see such great attitudes and hard work! Keep it up!!

My sister had her wedding reception here, and it was amazing! The section on the far right was closed off for us. Overall the food was amazing! The roast beef was a little over cooked but the salad, dressings, perogies, mash and brussel sprouts were delicious. The service was fantastic. Thank you for making my sisters day so wonderful!

First off, the food was good, a little on the expensive side. There were lots of interesting items on the menu, that would intrigue me to come back and try something new. The odd thing to me is that on a weekend, it had more of a college drunk party vibe. We went on a Friday night, not even late (8-10pm) and there were lots of rowdy people yelling, pushing, fighting around the bar. It was so loud, we couldnt hear each other talking, and at one point someone dropped their glass right beside our table and our feet got soaked. Not a good place to come for a relaxing dinner, at least on the weekend.

Central Social Hall recently hosted our staff Christmas party. The staff at Central were the most accommodating and tailored the event to match our needs. I strongly recommend this venue for any social gathering.

We have eaten here quite often and it is always a pleasure. Had a minor issue with my Burger and they immediately took care of it. The staff and manager were very professional. Love this place.

This was our first visit to Central Social House, and we both agree it will not be our last. While it is a social house, one thing I loved was that while there is music and sports on, it is not overwhelming. It is easy to carry on a conversation. Our server Kaitlyn K was fantastic. She made great recommendations and made our first visit memorable. She was able to answer our questions and describe the menu choices well. The food, excellent. We had the steak sandwich and honey chicken sandwich. Both were better than expected. Especially the steak sandwich. It is a great twist on a classic. Lastly, the general manager stopped by our table. Had a brief conversation with us. Thanked us for giving them a try. As a completely unexpected bonus they offered us a complimentary dessert as it was our first time. You won t be disappointed and we will be back.

Absolute best experience I have ever had with a restaurant! We booked our annual Christmas party in the private room and the waitstaff as well as the manager on shift was incredible! They always made sure our groups drinks were full, plates were cleared and we were happy. Such a lovely, friendly staff that care about their customers. We chose Central St Albert for our company Holiday party this year and it was a great time, I cant recommend this location enough. From the moment we arrived, and were greeted with a special cocktail, the team at Central St Albert treated our entire team like VIPs, and I cant say enough great things about Taylor, Jeremy, and everyone at Central St Albert. We will most certainly be back, in this age of mediocrity its refreshing to see great customer service alive and well. Thanks to everyone at Central St Albert!!

The Cure is amazing! I was full for 2 days. The atmosphere is good but the noise is brutal. We sat at a table for 6 but couldnt really visit due to all the noise. They had a game on plus music at the same time. We couldnt wait to leave just so we could hear each other again.

I had the Great Nate burger. It was a special custom made burger by the chef and it was ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! Very fresh with a lovely flavor combination! By far one of the best burgers I have ever had in my entire life! Its a limited time item but it definitely needs to become a regular menu item

Been to Central Social hall many times over the years, the food has always been delicous but just wanted to give a big shout out to Chef Nate for creating the Great Nate burger thats currently on their limited time menu. This burger deserves a permanent spot 100% I need more of it!!

Staff is great. If you want to go there for a drink then i would highly recommend. If you plan on eating anything I would probably avoid. Food was a bit on the pricey end and was thoroughly unenjoyable. i had fish and chips and to be honest it was probably the worst fish and chips i have ever eaten at a restaurant. I get it, ordering fish and chips in Alberta might be dumb. But, if you dont know how to make crisp flaky fish and chips then dont put it on the menu. Fish was soggy and very battery and not worth 5 dollars let alone the 20 bucks i was charged. Anyways, beer was great, servers were great, atmosphere was great. Food was very not great. We went to the St.Albert location and did the Chefs table experience for 4 people. It was an absolutely amazing experience! Our server was Mikhayla and she was beyond exceptional. We had a blocked off section just for our group. When we arrived our table was already set and had a bottle of champagne waiting for us. We had 7 courses for our meal. They chose for us the spicy maple brussels, Berta sushi rolls, blistered shishito peppers, Perogies and sausage, Steak and potato bites and for desert the nutella mason jar cheescake. They also gave us the cocktail, Sage & Lavender Sizzle. All of the food was top quality and honestly I think my best dining experience. They had a great selection of cocktails and the ones we tried were phenomenal. The manager came to our table to introduce himself and came back a few times to see how we were enjoying it. The staff truly went above and beyond with every single thing to make sure we had the best time and enjoyed ourselves. We will 100% be returning in the future!

Absolutely outstanding service and food during our Chefs Table experience at Central. Can honestly say it was the best dining experience I have had in a very long time. Our server for the night, Mikhayla was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and treated us very well. Restaurant manager was exceedingly welcoming and made sure our experience was top notch. Food was excellent and I can honestly say I loved every dish and the signature cocktail. Thank you Central Social Hall Team!

It was good. I need to go back a few more times to give a proper evaluation. First impressions were nothing crazy but we definitely enjoyed our time there. Menu and drinks were great. Staff stood around alot. Not something you want to see as an owner. Just a hint people, always look like you are busy...even if you are not.

Neat place! Great service stopped by on my way up North. Love the patio will be sitting there next time. I like how they had they have individual rooms for bathrooms provides maximum privacy.
