Bartender Ryan was a complete stud. I asked for egg nog at the time they didn t have it. He took his own time to go out of the way and buy it just to make my Christmas experience memorable. I have never had a reason to compliment customer service in this ever changing world. Thank you.

Why do I have to stand in the freezing cold and wait have not a single person answer the back door change it back to picking up at the front

Disappointed, we had to wait over 20 minutes to sit at a table when there were multiple empty tables in the lounge and dining area. We suspect that there were staffing issues in the kitchen. The food was cold and the experience was not what we expected for Earl s.

My husband brought me here for our date night and we had a wonderful experience. The service was fast and friendly. The food was beautifully plated and tasted amazing.

Earls has been my favorite restaurant for over a decade, but this was my first time visiting the St. Albert location, and it did not disappoint. I ordered the steak and sushi, and it was incredible. The steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and came with a flavorful ponzu sauce topped with sesame seeds and chives. I decided to try one of their new sushi options, the aburi salmon pressed sushi, and it was amazing. The slight sear on top gave it a nice smoky flavor that paired so well with the melt-in-your-mouth texture. My husband went with the pulled chicken clubhouse, and he absolutely loved it. The sandwich came with dry-cured bacon, jalapeño havarti, avocado, tomato, crisp leaf lettuce, and garlic aioli on griddled sourdough. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the combination of fresh ingredients made it a standout dish. We also shared the calamari, which was crispy and came with a great mix of jalapeño, cucumber, and a refreshing yuzu dipping sauce. For drinks, I had the sparkling raspberry lemonade light and not overly sweet, which was perfect. My husband tried the zero proof mojito and loved it; it was refreshing and full of flavor. To finish off, we split a slice of the bourbon pecan pie, and it was the perfect way to end the meal sweet, nutty, and just the right amount of indulgent. The service was outstanding from start to finish, with the staff going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. It s clear that the management team is doing a fantastic job creating an upscale yet comfortable atmosphere. The whole experience was exactly what I ve come to expect from Earls. It s always a pleasure dining with them, and I m already looking forward to my next visit.

I was picking up the order for the customer thru Uber eats.This is the only restaurant which says to pick up the order at the back door where we need to ring the bell. After several attempts by ringing the bell no one respond. Even knocking the door is useless ( can see through tiny glass window staffs standing and walking around but no response). Driver got to wait at open area in any weather conditions which they don t mind and really don t care. So called maneger named Dawson if I haven t mistaken comes out when I asked one of the server that I want to talk to manager. She came and said sorry for formality but her body actions and hand gestures say I DON T CARE.When it s comes to pick up the order for any courier this the WORST restaurant who thinks delivery drivers are NOT human being!

My friend and I have been visiting Earls on a monthly basis for the past 5 years (since before COVID). Due to our regular visits, we have been able to get to know Adam quite well, as we always sit in his section and end up having many enjoyable (and often entertaining) conversations. Adam has demonstrated high-level hospitality and professionalism. We always feel fortunate when we get Adam as our server, as he provides outstanding service. Thanks Adam!

Would recommend for small or medium gatherings. Must try the surf and turf and truffle fries. Friendly staff and great food. My go to spot, this location. Kid-friendliness: I would definitely not bring my kids here. Wheelchair accessibility: Parking is tight and not many spaces.

I ordered a Margarite Pizza and was very disappointed. It is not the same pizza that they made many years ago. It tasted like dough with not much cheese and a few leaves of basil. Years ago it had sundried tomatoes and pesto and was outstanding. Gee Whiz Earl !! try one yourself and see what Im saying

Three star dining at five star prices. It keeps getting more expensive, but the experience of eating here does not justify the price.

Worst Earls that we ve ever eaten at. Place was only about 30% full. We waited 40 minutes for our food. Food was almost cold, potato squares undercooked and coleslaw was not on plate so our waitress saw that and brought a bowl with coleslaw. Our waitress was friendly and tried her best. We are disappointed because we love to eat at the Earls franchise.

Unfortunately, service and food were not too earls standard. Picked this spot for 70th birthday party, ironically 70% of orders came out wrong, and service was lacking. Its was not a good experience. The manager tried her best to rectify the situation, but it was too little too late. Im not saying dont go hear, just saying our experience was not enjoyable. The restaurant was slow, so Im not sure why the bad experience.

We were out and about and feelin hungry, so we went to our go to place. Earls has always been that kind of restaurant, sit, relax and enjoy the great food, professional service and good conversation. Today we were served by an over the top team of Chef Rohan, Sourav, Simma and the always smiling Ava who provided her friendly service and some interesting info. The wasps were out of control on the patio. Needs more wasp traps other than the one by the entrance.

We visited last night, ordered 3 bacon cheese burgers and one Susi rolls . Our server was great , unfortunately 2 out of the three burgers were incredibly overcooked. We wouldve had them taken back but the booth we were sitting in was freezing cold and couldnt wait. Apparently some issues with the HVAC system the staff said they were working on. What a disiponting experience.

Ordered through doordash... horrible last experience and was promised a refund, emailed so many times got no response. Worst service and food at this location.

It was too hot for the patio and it was for brunch very good. Only strange thing they serve toast, but no jam? Service ti take dishes away for quite some time, but other wise friendly and tasty.

Had a very irritating experience with our server Adam. The hostess was very welcoming and let us know there was a new menu. The previous menu had many gluten free options which were no longer listed or no longer listed as gluten free. I asked our server is the only things that could be made gluten free were marked and he was very irritated and said yes then immediately walked away. He did not return for 10-15 minutes by which point we decided to leave the restaurant in favour of another restaurant in St. Albert. When he asked for our food order we replied that we wanted the bill for our sparkling water only and that we would not be having food, he sighed loudly and irritated before walking away to take another tables order. He returned afterward with our bill. Overall a terrible experience because the server was horrible.

We were celebrating and seeing friends we haven t seen in a long time. We asked for one dessert for this celebration! They had to move our table. We hadn t eaten or anything so it was fine. They said they would give us all free dessert! Awesome food, service and very friendly staff!

Overall, a great eatery. Drink selections are subpar though; selection is limited. Service was PHENOMENAL. Food was 3-5 stars depending on item. Steak and seafood are done wonderfully here. Appetizer choices seem somewhat.....limited and basic.

There was a small problem with our order which almost tainted our experience, but Tommi took over and saved the meal. She was super reasonable, professional, and friendly. I was happy, my wife was happy, and our meal was excellent.

Food was adequate. 22 for roast beef sandwich and same for a burger I thought were a bit pricey because there was nothing particularly special about them. Found it very noisy as well. Not a place to go and have a conversation. Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible.

Good food. Nothing incredible. Service wasn t bad, just wasn t the best. Quite busy as well so that slowed down service as well. Miscommunication between staff so we were waiting a very long time for our meal to be packed up to go and to pay. Kid-friendliness: It was ok. I don t find Earls the most kid friendly. There is no kids menu but there are kid friendly items available. My kids get bored and I always end up bringing pads of paper and crayons. Wait staff is hit and miss how they handle the kids

What happened to this place? Not much has changed for menu options except for the ridiculous increase in pricing. Ordered Steak Frites at the Clareview location. My ribeye can out raw pretty much. I can eat a medium rare ribeye all day....not this one. Aged ribeye you say? I dont think so. The flavour is just not there for me to consider it aged or even an ribeye at this point. Portions have all dwindled down but pricing continues to go up. Young waiters and waitresses have no idea how to conversate or handle any kind of discrepency that came up. I will no longer be contributing any of my monies to this establishmenet. Too bad as this used to be a place where many patrons would frequent and could get a half decent meal and drink.

If I could give a zero, I would. Not only have I worked for this company years ago, this has been an establishment that I ve been going to for over 20 years with my family. I understand cut backs but they have no longer maintained the quality that I know they had. Service was unbelievably horrible. Food was sub par. We will be taking our business elsewhere. So disappointing.

I tried to call the restaurant to order some food to pick up and couldnt get through. I called 5 times and was unable to speak to anyone. I tried to order online at www.earls.ca and had an an error has occurred message 3 times. I drove to the restaurant and found that the restaurant was empty and the lounge was busy but not full. I walked out and ordered food from Capital Pizza. I was looking forward to some food from Earls and was trying to order it on my way home I wanted to enjoy it while watching the last period of the Oilers game. MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT.

We went out to have a family birthday supper my parents were visiting from Nova Scotia. They put us in the tavern section even though we had reservations. We asked to move and they said no. We couldn t talk to each other because of the noise level in the tavern section. The quiet section was mostly empty.

I ordered veg sesame citrus noodle bowl with tofu. it was slightly disappointing , knowing that earls food is usually pretty good. Tofu that was deep fried was dry and cold. But service was wonderful and so was the ambiance

My wife and I stopped for Lunch to kick off our 46th anniversary celebrations! Adam was our server and he provided us with gold standard service, he had excellent knowledge of the menu and wine selection.. well done Earls!! Food

We came in for dinner on Wednesday . The staff and atmosphere was great, however our server/ bartender Keenan was exceptional. Very friendly and had a fantastic attitude our entire time. Hes professional and humorous, making for an outstanding visit to earls. Would highly recommend Keenan as your server every time!

We have held two birthday parties in the last two months at this location of Earls for friends who are seniors. We are a large group of 15 people. The staff has been so welcoming and attentive - we had such a good experience both times. The food was excellent and all the orders were correct and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. The food wasn t bad. Honestly the sushi tacos were pretty good. On the other hand the service was absolutely terrible. The restaurant was completely empty, but our server showed up once to take our order and disappeared the rest of the night. She was fairly rude to us when we walked in like we shouldn t be eating there. We didn t get any serving plates throughout the whole meal and basically ate off napkins.

Dined in and everything was amazing! Food was absolutely delicious, ordered the Cajun chicken Alfredo and it was the best fettuccine Alfredo I ve ever tried! Will definitely be back for more!

Food was great, music and atmosphere great for a group dinner. Server Charlie was awesome!! Very kind, helpful and attentive.

I ordered the 70 Dollar Surf and Turf. I gotta admit, I could of done the same dish at home myself for half the price. Sirloin temp was cooked well, but the fat on it was not rendered off and there was grizzle that was unchewable (That I had to spit out) for a 70 dollar dish, I expect better. I will go to the Keg in the future, at least their steak quality match their prices. The Interior itself looks quite old and could use some renos. The prices reflect a higher scale restaurant, but its not even close.

Server was so slow. Ordered 2 Caesar s, still the best Caesar s, not offered water at all. Water came after our 2nd Caesar s. I ordered the hunan chicken, came out burnt. I had to send it back. Meanwhile my hubby at his dinner. Mine came out after he was already done. The restaurant was quite dirty. There were straw wrappers all over the floor, fries, crumbs. We have been to earls lots but won t be returning to this one.

Had lunch and calamari was undercooked and cold, small Cesar salad was limp and the dressing had way too much anchovy, no garlic and not a bacon bit to be found. Had instant bathroom issues upon leaving. Will not be returning.

Visited the other day and the service was horrible everything took super long even tho there was barely anyone dining never knew a place were it took so long to get some extra napkins to clean up a spilled drink on our table or container for takeout with the bill, the people who helped us seemed to be unorganized,on drive home me and my husband started feeling sick from the food we ate unfortunately our experience here wasn t that great

The food is very tasty! But the service is terrible, the music is quiet, the establishment is noisy, the waiters are unhappy and unprofessional, the tables are dirty, and they serve with other people s hair!!!

I came in for a birthday dinner with my family earlier this week and man can I just say one of the best experiences I have ever had!!! The restaurant was absolutely packed and all the servers were very friendly and quick to come around. People would always check in on us and we were able to share many great stories! I had gotten a steak with peppercorn and lobster tail and I just want to say it was one of the best steaks I had ever had and I will definitely be coming back more often to celebrate events with family and friends. Overall an amazing experience family friendly place, have many options for dietary restrictions and overall a very comfortable and positive atmosphere!!

The chicken was soo dry in lettuce wrap and the wings was not cooked properly. I was wearing my traditional clothes and the server who served my drink gave me a disgust looked. Soo disappointed! Never coming back here.

She literally came with my food and dropped two seats next to me without saying a word. Maybe she should be remind that she works at a hospitality business.

Came in with my family for supper . My brothers steak was undercooked . Hw had to wait a while for the pepper corn sauce. He got a new steak, and it was a different cut a lot thinner and under cooked again. The management did what she could but said we could possibly get a free meal another time. But had to call the general manager who wasnt there and to have to live out the whole entire storie to someone who wasnt there and then ask for the free meal she said we could get seems ridiculous.. the general manager should have received my brothers info from her in order for him to make the call and see if he could make it right by redemption to a customer that really loved that earls for them usually being able to cook a steak properly. Since he hasnt had luck at any other earls in the city. So he was pretty disappointed about the experience he had. Also the chicken I added to my salad was ridiculously covered in caked on Cajun seasoning . Like I had to scrap it off of the chicken. It was good seasoning but like a really extremely over seasoned.

Came in to have a bite with my friend . Frontline server was brilliant and super polite. I am surprised that near the windows almost all the table was vacant and we could not get one. We got a hidden table back of the couch. Food

Lack of attention to the front entrance when guests come in and the food is incredibly overpriced now, especially for the tiny portions you get. Its like a lean cuisine frozen dinner on a plate, just a tad better. This place was really amazing in the late 90s and early 2000s. Its definitely changed over time. Now I prefer cooking something at home over anything on their menu.

Staff were great but was served clam chowder that had been under what I can only presume were heat lamps for hours. It was practically fused to the bowl and the garlic bread was hard enough to bounce about 15cm after being dropped from waist height. Not impressed with the kitchen but the front facing staff were great

Ive enjoyed the food at earls for years, but the service can be hit or miss depending on the location. A meeting brought me to the St. Albert location and let me tell you they take service seriously. Not only did the delicious food arrive in a timely manner, the service was top notch from the moment I walked in the door. Helena was a lovely host, she gave us an incredible experience by making us feel welcome and important . I will definitely be coming back to this location when Im in this neck of the woods.

After a long days work, we wanted to dig into a delicious juicy burger. Ordered online and received a pick up time of 7:45. Arrived for pick up, order was not ready but it would take another 10 minutes. After 15 minutes order received, drove 5 minutes home (I live sooo close) and two of our group were so hungry they ate the cold food. I looked at my burger and found my meat red and pulled it out and ate the bun. Called the manager and she issued a refund. The third persons food did not stay down, they were in the bathroom during the night. This experience is being noted as it is our second experience with take out from Earls that was not near pleasant. Also, the web site asks for a tip when ordering. We did not leave a tip at time of ordering as there was no service received. At pick up, I explained to the young man at the door that there was intention to provide a tip but the food was late so I could not tip for bad service. Then upon arrival at home, the food was undercooked and cold. A tip definitely not deserving. The manager responded asking for more information and still waiting for a response.

I visited Earls St. Albert this past weekend with a friend and I had never been to this location. I was pleasantly surprised with how great everything was! One of the managers Helena was AMAZING and made our visit very enjoyable. I will definitely be returning when Im in St. Albert!

I had the Steak Frites (6oz) tonight which was perfectly done and so good. It s starting to be my go-to entree at Earls. Great flavour and good value for dollar. Our server was friendly and professional and the service was fast. The Manager checked in with us which we really appreciated.

Its not often that you have the delight of such a great server. I was just in for lunch and from the second we where greeted by Pearse we felt such a contagious burst of energy and joy. I had lunch here the other day with a friend. The food was great. I ordered the steak frites and he order the Santa Fe salad. It came out quickly and exactly as ordered. The service was excellent. The manager, Helena, stopped by to ensure everything was good and made sure our drinks were always topped up. I would recommend this restaurant location to anyone, five stars out of five.

The restaurant was pretty busy when we went in but Kate still took the time to answer any questions we had and was very fast with her service!

It seems like this earls is always trying to catch up to their sister restaurants Spent about $300 on food and drinks and it was An absolute waste of time and money. The service was amateur and slow to say the least, and the food. Well, it was c est la poubelle .. Not a lot of flavour and definitely a regretful waste of time and money. This is the D class Earls

I am disappointed that they no longer offer calamari on their menu. Historically, it was the best in Edmonton. I had difficulties navigating through their menu by trying to find gluten free options. I had the steak fritte, and they agreed to remove the gluten bun but were surprised that I wanted to replace it with gf bun. I needed to advocate for myself for agreeable options. The server wasnt supportive or offered suggestions. Their mixing of cocktails was also confusing. I wanted a lime margaritas with a salted rim. It didnt happen. They took it back and returned with a salted rim but the drink was overflowing with ice. No straw to mix the drink. No spoon either. I had to mix my drink with a fork. The server stood there watching me and didnt offer a spoon.

This is by far the worst earls. When we order take out 99% of the time it s wrong, we have called over and over again to complain but it never fixes the problem. Our order isn t even complicated . Once again tonight make it all the way home for it to be wrong.

Grabbed 2 6oz steaks to go, they were great! I used to work here in the kitchen over a decade ago-- the quality was great then, and the quality is great now! Ill definitely be back at this location for more steak in the future

Waiter was running around taking too many orders and getting them wrong. Waited 40 minutes for food to arrive and when It did, it was cold. Burgers were dripping with grease and had no flavour at all. Asked for water and none ever arrived. Asked for condiments for fries and again, none ever arrived. Spoke with duty manager who advised we would get desserts for free but no replacements. Desserts arrived and unbelievably were missing half the advertised product. Very poor service from start to finish and they charge $12 for a house lager! Overpriced for underwhelming food.

Tough place to watch a flames game

Our first time there was a great experience! The food was amazing, so flavourful! Our server was awesome and even joked with us after I shared my inexperience with steak cooks. My other half tried their new Irish coffee, and it was tasty! Can count us repeat customers!

Our meal on Sunday, May 7, 2023 was very disappointing. We have been going to Earls for about 30 years starting in Calgary and the food has always been outstanding. This time, not so much. My husband ordered the Bigger Better Burger and the size of the patty has been reduced so much and of course the price greatly increased. ( Where s the beef comes to mind) Normally we would have items from the happy hour menu but the selection is not great and prices are more like the regular menu prices, so what s the point? Gone are the days, apparently, when you got items at happy hour for at least a 50% reduction from regular prices. I ordered the Pulled Chicken Clubhouse (a new menu item). The chicken was so dry and almost inedible. I did not return the meal because at that point I was very hungry and did not want to wait for another meal. You would think pulled chicken would imply a nicely seasoned portion simmered in a flavourful sauce, somewhat like pulled pork. This was not the case. Very disappointing and bland tasting. The toppings were generous with avocado, bacon and cheese but still no flavour. The server was very nice and told our drinks would be comped even though we said it was not necessary, but was appreciated. Our bill was $47.00 plus tip and was far too expensive for sub-standard food. It will be a very long time before we go to any Earls again, if ever. So sad to see the quality of food at Earl s to go downhill like this after so many years of good food and decent prices.

Great food and service and Connor the manager at the St Albert location is hands down the best manager we have met. There was an error and he went far above and beyond to make our experience amazing. Very kind, knowledgeable, efficient, great service and very well dressed.

Please do not offer specials or discounted prices if youre not going to honour them, and kindly remind your service staff to mention when add-ons are an upcharge. The brunch menu has a misprint on it that states they offer half price champagne bottles until 2pm (beyond the brunch happy hour price); when we asked about it our server reiterated that the bottles would be half price. At this location that is not the case. They would not honour the misprinted price regardless. On top of that, our server was busy and therefore not overly attentive to our table (which we understood). All in all, highly disappointed in this location, we will not be back.

Four of us loved our meals: Blackened chicken, Salmon, Crab Cakes. Service was good. Four stars because it was so loud and noisy and made it difficult to converse. Parking: no problem

I ordered chicken lettuce wraps, trying to be healthy....the chicken was battered and deep fried..oops!. Nowhere in the menu did it mention this. This is also on me as i shouldve asked. Earls is also pretty darn pricey... Food

I went to this location with a few friends. We were told by the front of the house that there is a 15-20 minute wait for our group even though the restaurant is half full. My friend wanted a drink so the front of the house stated that we can order at the bar, but she stated we have to settle our bills at the bar before we get seated. She had to reiterate it again even though we heard her say it clearly the first time, which left a bad impression on my other friend. We had some drinks at the bar and the bartender was lovely and attentive. However, after 35 minutes, there was still no table available and several other groups that came in after us got theirs first. Moreover, the front of the house was giving my friend the looks and my friend had to voice their concern to the manager. The manager talked to the girl in the back and, guess what, when they came back to the floor, that girl was laughing it off. We decided to not stay for dinner and go to another location. Earls WEM and Clareview had better service and were not discriminatory.

Our server was fabulous. Had an issue with my steak which they soon resolved. It didn t arrive until after our sides were finished. The new GM was exceptional! More than compensated us for our dining experience. We certainly left with a positive feeling. Highly recommend.

Ordered over the phone to pick up at the restaurant. Ordered the steak frites, medium rare. My steak was overcooked and dry. It was half the amount of fries they give you when you eat in. The fries tasted old and were soggy. And everything was just thrown into the container. Im very disappointed

The last few times I ve been here have been terrible. Do not order the steak, they cannot tell the difference between medium rare and medium well. Thought maybe it was a one off but it happened to my gf as well. The food has significantly gone downhill over the years. The last time I was there we waited 20 mins for a table on a Sunday afternoon with half the place empty. Other earls in the city are much better. Go there.

Good variety of dishes and friendly, professional staff. Everyone we interacted with was respectful and friendly. I tried the Bangkok Bowl with tofu and didnt regret my choice. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options of several dishes are listed in the menu, and modifications to the dishes are possible. Dietary restrictions: Servers proactively inquired about dietary restrictions and preferences, and everyone was respectful and accommodating.

Went for happy hour with my Grandma, on the patio. The Host was kind and very helpful with getting us to our table. Yasamin our sever, was incredible and very bubbly, as well as interactive and kind, wonderful service ! Thank you Yasamin :)

Service was not great, pushed upgrades on meals, and the food itself was subpar. The music was also so loud we had to yell to hear one another. Clearview location is much better.

The service was extremely slow for a weekday evening, the food was average at best, and the prices are ridiculously high for the portions that you get. The only real reason that I would come back to this, or any Earls for that matter, is for the happy hour deals. Otherwise, Earls just isnt worth the price

Went last night with my wife. We ordered 3 appetizers, the hot wings were very dry, the sauce on them had even dried out. The Avocado in our roll was rock hard and the roll was falling apart. Our waitress was good and did all she could but the larger blonde manager basically just sat at the bar on her phone most of the night and just stared at us when our waitress told her about our food. Earls typically has good food and attractive staff but the Earls in St. Albert seems to only hire overweight and lazy staff that make me feel like I need to watch what I m ordering. Next time I ll drive into Edmonton

A regular stop for myself and my wife. Been a few weeks but stopped in last night (Saturday night 7:30pm) service was fantastic, quick,friendly. Food was terrible. Not sure if it was a menu change, cutting costs etc. Ordered the cajun chicken sandwich , had this many times in the past. This visit it was absolutely disappointing. An overwhelming amount of lettuce/ tomatoes and a sliver of chicken. No cajun flavor, just overcooked charred chicken, wilted lettuce and 3 slices of tomato. And with a hamburger bun now? Definitely not the same meal . Was something you would expect to pay $7 for from a fast food outlet. Wife had the salmon , again very disappointed, salmon was nothing special on a bed of very bland rice. The quality of food will keep us from returning, too many good restaurants in St albert to choose from instead.

Patio was nice, but the service was BEYOND slow.. Food was passable at best, seems new management has implemented cost saving strategies to squeeze more money out of the food. Do NOT order the Caeser Salad from this location, beyond subpar and disappointing. Its a shame, I used to love this location before covid. Earls in general has gone down hill and ESPECIALLY this location.

My wife and I always enjoy coming here for a date night or celebration. The staff are genuine, kind people. Our last server, Adam, was a hoot and made our evening much more memorable!

This Earls just doesnt hit the mark. No atmosphere, distracted server, average blah food. I was so looking forward to eating here. Huge disappointment. Thank goodness the awesome company of my niece made our time in the restaurant delightful and fun. UPDATE: the manager,Jeff, replied and has offered to comp our next lunch main course. Great manager. He spoke to the staff thst worked that shift and made a big effort to get to the bottom of what went wrong. I really appreciate the fact that he cares enough about his business to take action on poor reviews.

Been going to this Earls for over a decade. Place was 1/3 full on Saturday night. Sat at the bar and ordered drinks and food. Had to ask for napkins and cutlery then had to try and grab somebody for another round. With only 2 other people at the bar we waited over 15 minutes (with my card out) and finally had to loudly ask the bartender (right in front of me BTW) to get our Bill. Will NOT be going back. Food was Great. So Disappointing.

The prices seem to be going up and the dishes keep getting smaller. When we were sat at our table, it took over 10 minutes for the hostess to come to bring us drinks. So I clearly wasn t very happy from the beginning. But my Aji pokey bowl had like eight pieces of salmon in it. But what bothered me the most was the perfume that the server was wearing. She served us our food and then went to clean tables and her perfume was so strong that it was really hard to eat. I thought perfume was a no no in the food industry .

Probably the most underrated brunch place in the city. Hands down best pricing too if you make it for brunch happy hour, before noon.

Love to support St. Albert businesss, but this wont be a good review, sorry Earls. Ordered the Sirloin peppercorn steak, 6oz. One end was sinew and very difficult to cut. The other end of the steak had a chunk of fat.. The vegetables were bland in taste and looked like they were frozen out of a bag. There was straw paper and other garbage noted under another table. Our server was great, thank you! Not sure, but I feel the quality has gone down at this Earls.

Ordered food for takeout. Paid 14$ for truffle fries and there was like 10 fries, the small aioli container dip was half full and on top of that they got my order wrong. Paid $70 with tip for a dinner that was absolutely disappointing especially after a long day.

Our very young server Chris was absolutely fantastic and made our experience an absolute joy, I even had to take the time to speak to the manager and let her know how awsome he was, it is great to see a young man work so hard and always with a smile!!!!

Came here with a few buddies for the evening happy hour. Yam fries with garlic aoli dip, regular fries were both very tasty and crispy. The topic thunder pizza was great value for the serving size. It was also a superb pizza in general.

I ate here this evening and I thought that I had a decent experience until I left and about 30 minutes later the manager called me and tried telling me that I didn t pay for my service and that I had to come back and pay even though I was certain I did pay. I guess someone had dined and dashed and somehow my name was on that table and so they thought it was me. I wouldn t be writing this review or be so upset if it wasn t for the managers tone of voice and attitude on the phone. She was very rude and insisted that I come back to the restaurant and pay even though I told her multiple times I did pay and even explained that the server must have gotten the tables confused (on the phone she said I left two drinks on the table which I knew I hadn t because I only ordered one drink and there was nothing but water on my table when I left) I get that the server or hostess may have been at fault as well for having mixed up the tables but regardless I didn t appreciate the way the manager handled the situation. She should have inquired further and asked me more questions on the phone to confirm this was the right person especially after I told her multiple times I paid and they have the wrong person, instead of insisting that I didn t pay and basically making me feel like a thief and forcing me to come back to the restaurant when I had already driven home just to tell me that they got the tables mixed up, something that I had already known and tried to explain to her on the phone. Ridiculous and awful way to treat a paying customer and honestly makes the entire team look foolish. Won t be eating here again.

It`s ridiculous that I am charged service fee on online orders of 10% and system doesn`t allow me to change it. Service of whom for what? I agree with paying delivery fee and tip delivery person, but tipping imaginary server is beyond me.

Was very impressed with everything. The decor, food and service was excellent. We were out visiting from Alberta. 8 of us visited the restaurant two different evenings and were all super impressed. Our server Hanna was amazing giving us excellent service without being over the top. Dietary restrictions: I told Hanna I was intolerant to certain foods. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered help any way she could.

We were seated by the Manager, settled with a pre-server then looked after by our main server. We were very well looked after and tye foo and bevvies were fantastic! Bravo Crew!

Ordered dynamite rolls. Rice was not properly cooked or did not use sushi rice. Had water instead. Very disappointed.

Pre Ordered a delivery via door dash for delivery at 1020pm the restaurant chose to not fulfill the order, at 1035pm. Thus leaving me without the after work meal I ordered and paid for, more than 4 hours beforehand. Incredibly unsatisfied. Wont be ordering from a place that does business like this again.

Some of the best dining experiences Ive had have been here. Incredible quality food and drinks, as to be expected with the price. Service is always incredible. Out of all the earls in the edmonton area this one is the best.

The food was top notch. Steak and lobster prepared perfect and the tuna sashimi tacos were delicious. Raw oysters were a little small but super fresh. They were far from capacity yet we did not receive attentive service and after our entrees were delivered we did not speak to our server until we flagged him down to get our bill (drinks long empty by this time).

Pearse served us brunch, and not only was he a treat to be around and laugh with, the food was excellent!

We visited Earls in St Albert and the experience was terrible. There were only two of us dining, the restaurant was not full by any means and it took 45mins for us to get our meals. The server checked on us before we even started and didn t come back until we were done. No check ins, drink refills or anything. Our food was room temperature and my chicken breast was fatty. We asked for our bills twice before finally getting it which took over 15mins. They acknowledged the terrible day they were having and comped our drinks (a pop each, no refills lol)which is not sufficient considering the poor quality of the meal. Overall it was an hour and a half for a cold meal. We also saw 3 other tables asking to speak with management due to the long wait times and cold food, it wasn t just us. An awful experience all around. I suggest going elsewhere.

Right from walking in the door we felt like things werent right. The entrance is blocked by the hostess station. The restaurant had tons of tables available yet there was a 5 minute wait. After more like 10 minutes we were seated at an odd shaped table that had 4 chairs. It was barely big enough for 2 due to the odd shape. Our meals took a very long time. A bigger table that was sat after us received their food before us. When we did get it, everything was cold and my husbands hamburger was burnt and dried out. They brought my husband a new meal and replaced my yam fries and management did comp us a round of drinks which was something, for sure. Not sure if it was just an off day or if this is normal for this location or not. It seemed that all staff were rushing around bit the restaurant was maybe only half full.

Our server, Pearse, offered excellent suggestions for the food, drinks and desert. He connected really well, answered our questions and checked to make sure everything was okay. Great service!!

Asked for a hot expresso twice both times an expresso martini arrived, I didn t say anything the second time They charge me for an expresso martini. After asking twice if the expresso machine was working they added yes twice! Worst Earls in the Edmonton area Don t waste your time with these burn outs!

Unfortunately my salmon dinner, which was $32 was just ok. Disappointed with the prices and what you get.
