East Side Mario's in St. Albert

It doesn t get better than this place in my opinion. Sausage and pepper penne with a Caesar is my go to, just incredible. And the people are always wonderful. Always 10/10 here.

First time trying this place, overall i would say its along the same lines as an olive garden. The staff was lovely, but the food was just okay. Big portions, but everything was a bit bland.

What a wonderful lunch we had at East Side Marios in St Albert! We had their lunch portion chicken parm. It was one of the best Ive ever had! Crunchy with a fresh light tomatoe sauce& tender inside! The young women serving us was a delight! Thank-you for the excellent food, service & experience!!

I recommend this place, the staff is very friendly. The times to serve the food: They are perfect. Dont worry about Parking: there is enough. We ordered a pizza for 2 people and a spaggeti, red wine for me, all very delicious.

The younger gent on the bar side Oct 25th around lunch time give a terrific service!! Food wise, al diavolo are getting smaller by the day, sausage in pasta taste barely anything and the butter for the bread is meehh. Does it change owner regularly? It never the same everytime I go.

The service was amazing and the waitress was great but unfortunately the food just wasnt it. We both ordered the Chicken Parm and it was absolutely flavorless. The spaghetti was mush and the chicken was hard and also flavorless. The only thing that was tolerable was the bread.

Highly recommend east side Mario s in St Albert to get large orders to feed a team. The service by Mike and his team were outstanding and our hockey team throughly enjoyed the pasta selections, salad and bread.

Out of the many local options - ESM St. Albert has rightfully earned its place as our new weekly family treat. The cozy atmosphere, the excellent food, and the friendly staff are second to none. We were particularly impressed recently by our server, Sadie, whose attentiveness went above and beyond the ordinary and really did make our night. Thanks again and see you soon!

I have been here 3 times. I must be a sucker for punishment. First visit we pretty much had to beg for drink refills, salad and bread but they were quick to bring our bill over. Second time wasnt much better, I left feeling like the servers were doing us a favor. I figured third time was a charm but thatll be a huge NOPE! We were finally seated, it wasnt busy. Literally after 15 minutes, our server came over to get our drink order and after another 15 minutes waiting for 2 glasses of iced tea that never showed up we walked out and I will never return.

Absolutely FANTASTIC!!! Service was far and beyond.. food was perfect, huge servings, hot bread, fresh crisp salads.. and when you bring a 1 and 3 year old with you for dinner and its a success, it means sooo much!! Thank you to Connor and team for their attentive, prompt and friendly service!! It made this Ontario girl and her St. Albert family a happy one! Cheers to a memorable dinner! Kid-friendliness: They have the BEST kid size ice cream cones in a paper sleeve that our little guests thoroughly enjoyed!! We usually choose to sit in the lounge. It s comfortable and the staff is friendly.

Good portions all you can eat read soup and salad. And the young man serving us was attentive and on point. Overall good experience will return

Big, loud chain restaurant with friendly servers. Beverages served in plastic tumblers (Im not 5!), salad completely drowning in dressing, pasta was cheap and too chewy, tomato sauce packed with sugar and few other seasonings. And its still more expensive than the locally owned Italian restaurants, with excellent food, in the edmonton region.

Deliciously amazing food and great customer service.

It was packed that weekend but we only waited for 10 minutes and the server got our table ready! Service was awesome and food was great! We will be back!

A Fun-Filled Birthday at East Side Marios East Side Marios in St. Albert delivered a memorable birthday experience for my daughter. While the food was your typical Italian-American fare, the atmosphere and service were top-notch. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making my daughter feel special on her big day. The restaurants lively ambiance and friendly atmosphere created a fun and enjoyable dining experience. Though the food was standard, the overall experience was well worth it.

Absolutely amazing time here today for lunch. Left with full stomachs and plenty of leftovers! Our server Meggan was the best and made the whole time just so much better. She was attentive without being bothersome (who likes to be asked questions right after taking a bite?) Our glasses were never empty, she was hilarious and very people forward. If someone is looking for a casual meal or a nice date night I cant recommend here enough.

For the price of the food, Im very satisfied. Good food, good atmosphere and while it seemed a little busy, service was good too

Came here for my sisters birthday dinner yesterday with a party of 7, thought we d try out a new place & it was such a great choice! The waitress was so kind & very attentive, very polite. I didn t catch her name but she did have a little beaded lizard keychain! I had an issue with the cook of my steak & they fixed it without hesitation, all our food wants were met & their pastas are great, we all enjoyed our meals! Kid friendly aswell. The restaurant itself is beautiful, lots to look at & keeps you busy while waiting for your food. They let us do cake aswell (no candles but completely understandable) Overall, a great experience & we will be coming back.

We loved this place Yesterday sep1 we went although was not busy server didn t attend for 30 mins. Was out of stock for their signature bread Tomato soup was cold instead of being complained they didnt change. Weve eaten here plenty. But I do not like waiting 20 minutes without any server talking to us. We left without ordering. Not cool east side.

Wife had an appointment that got cancelled, so she wanted to go out for lunch, since she was all made up. We decided on East Side Marios. We just moved to St. Albert and drive by it every day, so decided we should try it. Good choice. We both had the Thursday special with Linguine Chicken Tetrazzini and the Budda Boomers. She had Caesar salad, I had the Italian Wedding soup. We even had mini desserts (just big enough for us). Everything that was supposed to be hot was hot, and everything that was supposed to be cold was cold, including the beer and iced tea. Everything came out very quickly (maybe because we had the Thursday special?) and fresh. It was all excellent, and we had leftover Budda Boomers and pasta to take home, all for under $60. They could expand their selection of beers, though. We sat on the patio, which was quite nice, except for all the bees, which is not their fault. Server was excellent, as well. Im not a big tipper, unless the service is good. I gave a decent tip for what I could afford this time.

I came to Eastside Marios thinking that it would be just as good as when spruce grove had an Eastside Marios. However, our experience here was definitely not the same our kids enjoyed their pizzas- thank goodness for that! But our food was quite blan. My friend had the shrimp Alfredo and she said it was quite flavorless. I had the club wrap with a side of fries with gravy. Wrap was meh and the gravy had 0 flavor. I also ordered the calamari as I love my calamari... I shouldve paid more attention to the picture I guess. Theyre not the rings/ squid type. Their calamari reminded me of the bagged calamari from the freezer isle in the store. No crunch or flavor again. We ordered alcoholic pina coladas, definitely skimped on the alcohol content. The atmosphere was good, but we all found it fairly warm in there. Service was fine. Hate to say it but, we probably wont go back. We were looking fwd to it as its the only Eastside Marios left in edmonton area .... but well take a raincheck on visiting again.

Early on in our relationship we loved going to Eastside Marios so for our 25th anniversary it was an easy choice to relive many years of good times and great food at Eastsides in St Albert! As always the food was fantastic and the service exceptional!!! Thanks for being our favourite restaurants for decades!!!

This is a long-standing favorite eatery! Years and years, in fact. If youre not super hungry the all you can eat lunch soup, salad & bread is worth every penny! Cheers.

We come here at least once a month, staff are always upbeat and quick with service even during peak times, if things are moving slower than expected they are quick to let you know. Management is always present on the floor and helping out with everything they can to help out the staff. As a manager myself its great to see an amazing team working together!

It was a bit busy when we arrived. One server, who did an amazing job, seemed to be taking most of the tables. The food was decent. However, my chicken was way past cooked.

Ok so me and my mom decided to take my brother and sister to this place and I judged this place before I walked in but my mom wanted to give it a try so we went to eat here and our food was horrendous, my mom s spaghetti was so liquidy and my sisters pizza is just bad. It s worst than Pizza Hut. Not authentic Italian food but service here was kinda horrible also. All the workers were complete jerks and hate there jobs but our waiter was really nice and we decided to tip her and she was so happy. She was just a kind waiter but overall everything was horrible. Don t come here at all cost. It s not worth it

I came here yesterday for the first time ever and if i could give the service a 0 starts i would. The food was great and the atmoshphere was nice. Our server was okay but he needs to learn on time management because we were there for 2+ hours and that was waiting on our drinks, appetizers and main courses. We got there and had to wait 30+ mins just for our drinks. He forgot to get 2 of my friends orders and came back 10 mins later. It was our friends birthday and we were all very disappointed . I dont think we will come back here again. I think the server we had needs more training and needs to practice time management. We did tip the waiter to be nice but yes overall we wont be back. -1/10 and the restaurant was not even busy. It was bad enough we had to ask other servers for our drinks when are own waiter was no where to be found.

I recently had a disappointing experience at a restaurant where owner Larrys response was notably lacking. While dining, another couple began taking videos and photos of our 7-month-old baby, who was crying. Larry, who was watching the situation unfold through a glass window, did not come to address the issue. As a result, we had to confront the couple ourselves, only to face their criticism for bringing two children to the restaurant. Larrys failure to intervene or offer support was disheartening and significantly impacted our experience. Probably not a good idea to take kids here, as the staff (other than our server) did not seem welcome at all.

I recently had an experience at this location where owner Larrys lack of engagement was disappointing. During our visit, another couple was taking videos and photos of our 7-month-old baby, who was understandably upset and crying. Due to Larrys lack of concern, we had to confront the couple ourselves. They then complained that we brought two kids to the restaurant, which felt like an unfair judgment. It would have been appreciated if Larry had stepped in to address the situation and ensure all guests felt comfortable. Unfortunately, his inaction overshadowed what could have been a more positive experience. We come here a lot but we do not recommend people with kids to visit this location as we felt very unwelcomed. Our server was amazing but the overall experience because of the owner was disappointing. When we called the manager he said he cant do anything as its a public place which we understand but the owner Larry was watching all of this unfold from the kitchen and nodding his head at the couple taking our photos/videos but did not think it was important to come talk to us. Needless to say we packed our food and left.

A very recent experience in this establishment gave me reason to comment here. I am extremely impressed by the staff, and calm and patient customers that were here on Sunday Aug 4. There was an out of control table with children that were constantly grunting, screaming and not once disciplined by the adults at their table! The staff, particularly my server, and others that I saw, dealt with complaints from other tables the ENTIRE time we were there. Even though the lack of parenting skills from this rambunctious table affected the entire dinner hour, the staff dealt with the other dinner guests with professionalism and calm. The ADULT response from the loud table should have been to remove the UNDISCIPLINED kids from the restaurant and get their dinner to go. I pitied the staff. I m sure they had to have been happy to plunk the bill at the annoying table and watch the door close behind them. The entire restaurant had to have breathed a sigh of relief after they left. The food and atmosphere improved once silence, respect and the family friendly atmosphere returned. The experience of surrounding tables had to have been so unpleasant for all of us. One example was when I heard a kind waiter near us ask his guests if there was anything else they needed, and their response was for earplugs . That sums up what everyone else was thinking. Congratulations to the professional and very patient staff and owner. May these people never return, and only eat at home from now on...

We always order the family pasta meal on Skip, there are 5 of us, all adults, and it barely dents the food, so good, amazing food, portions ect, and we always have enough for leftovers the next day! Comes with 2 family sized pastas home loaves, we add a few extra on, family sized salad and its only 55 bucks! Cheaper then McDonalds for 5 people and way better!! Highly recommended.

Has their soup and salad and it was fine the service was great. however the pizza I had to go was disgusting. I even paid for extra cheese that you could not even find the normal amount of cheese.

Ill start this off saying that the waitress was great. Food was terrible, this is cafeteria quality pasta and meat for regular restaurant pricing. This is the worst food I have ever been served in a sit down restaurant and I think this is their standard par as Ive never eaten here before and was expecting at least decent pasta ... Flavorless, flat and wet, overly salty lasagnia. The flat breaded chicken thing they serve with tomato paste on top was burnt at the edges and is actually something I have been served at a military like cafeteria (mess hall). Soup tasted like it was straight from a can and had little substance to it at all, I counted four bits of pasta in mine. Environment is cheesy and the place was quite busy/full ... surprising with how terrible the food is. To top it off there was a small child in the next booth that stood up to look in our booth (as kids usually do) well this one coughed on my daughter and myself and my entire family got covid19 from that little one. 1 and a half weeks later I am so sick and have Pneumonia thankfully the rest of my family recovered quickly but I am going to miss a bunch of work, may end up in hospital and feel like Im on deaths door. Family of 4 costed us over $100 for this experience. I am so mad I had to put this in writing. I will never return and will not hesitate to share my experience to anyone who will listen.

We went at about 8:00 pm on a Tuesday. We waited a bit for a table & then some more for a server. The server was perfunctory, not friendly, but not surly either. She took our orders, got us water & then brought out our food. The salad was a bit wilted, not as fresh as the one in North Bay, Ontario, our gold standard. The bread was fresh & hot, delicious. Our entrees were delicious: chicken Tetrazzini, build your own & a chicken dish with fries & veggies. I would definitely go here again.

Tonight, we embarked on a culinary journey to East Side Marios in St. Albert. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted and quickly seated, despite the bustling atmosphere. The courteous staff set the tone for an enjoyable evening. We opted to sample a variety of dishes, starting with wings, mozzarella sticks, ravioli soup, Caesar salad, and chicken parmigiana etc,etc, accompanied by an array of drinks. The serving staff was attentive, regularly checking on us to ensure our satisfaction. Midway through our meal, Tarin, one of the owners, personally visited our table to inquire about our dining experience. Her genuine concern for our enjoyment was impressive and added a personal touch to our visit. All the meals and appetizers were served hot and were visually appealing. The food was not only flavorful but also generous in portion, offering excellent value for money. Each dish was a testament to the restaurants dedication to quality Italian cuisine. I highly recommend East Side Marios to anyone who has yet to visit or who loves Italian food. My guests and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience and extend our gratitude to the owners and staff for making our visit so delightful. We eagerly anticipate our next visit to explore more of their menu. I would rate them 9.5 / 10 on the munch meter.

We went here on July 2nd to celebrate my birthday, and chose the patio because it s SO beautiful. The only thing is we were the only ones out there bc the sky was looking like rain (it didn t rain!). Our server Tory was AMAZING. Despite being the only ones out there she made sure we were very well taken care of. Only after we left did I realize just how amazing she was. We had NO idea that the restaurant was closing/closed by the time we paid the bill. Not once did she try to rush us or even give a clue that they were closed! I feel like an a$$ now. She didn t put up the chairs anywhere near us, nothing! Thanks so much Tory, you re very sweet. To top it all off, the food was amazing (chicken parm), & I even got a free salted caramel brownie dessert which was so incredible I m going to go back soon just for that! Way to go East Side, love you guys Kid-friendliness: One of very few restaurants that allow minors in the bar, which we love. Specifically when hockey s on!

Just left here had lunch with my brother and sister in law.. it s usually really good! But today was terrible! Chicken wrap was really bad no chicken no dressing very dry!! Caesar was dry and service was terrible

My family all came on a Tuesday afternoon for dinner and they claimed they dont have the servers to accommodate us! one of their busiest nights and we have to sit at separate tables! Dont recommend coming here on Tuesdays

The food was very good and portion sizes were good. Our server was friendly and attentive. Really my only complaint was a 10-15 minute wait time while we watched several groups that came after us get seated first. No reservation and it was peek time so really what to expect.

We stopped by for lunch today and had the trio special for $13.99. It is very good value for the price. Our favourite is the tomato and garlic soup. Our Son loves the Italian wedding soup. We tried the ravioli soup which was nice but not our preference. Our server also gave us lots of parmesan for the soup and salad. The garlic loaf was hot and a great texture. The Caesar salad had plenty of bacon and croutons and tasted fresh and crisp. I would perhaps like a touch more dressing. Our server was Meggan and she was very sweet, attentive and chatty, also friendly and polite. When paying our bill, Alita attended to us and was also helpful, polite and friendly. Great service and yummy food

It had been several years since eating here. Decided to give it a try again and was not disappointed. The Management staff right down to the front line servers were very friendly and created a really fun, easygoing atmosphere. The food was just as delicious as I remembered. Always one of my favourite places. Will have to get out more again.

If I could give them zero stars I would. HORRID service. The manager and owner are complete jerks. The food was bland and disgusting. We will never be back. Stear clear of this location! So many more good restaurants that deserve your money. If people stop going they will have to close and that will be a good thing. They don t deserve your money.

I d of given this place 5 stars, however the music was too loud. My friend and I haven t seen each other in years and decided to meet at this restaurant as she was told the food was good. We came in and we re greeted out the door by a nice gentleman and we were seated. The atmosphere was nice lots to look at, however we could not hear each other speak. We had already ordered a beverage. Otherwise we would have left so we decided to eat. She never ate her meal. She just had a bite of her chicken Parm. I had, a bowl of spaghetti with spicy sauce. It was very tasty but small. Also, I had a problem with my water glass as it was plastic. Given the prices in this restaurant, I would expect to be served water out of an actual glass and not plastic. I did not drink it as plastic is porous and holds germs. It was like being at a children s restaurant. I found this just cheapened the place. Our server was very attentive and I give her five stars, but I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they like to yell over their food. If I ever eat here again, it will be take out, which is sad because I really would ve liked to of stayed awhile. Also, there is only one handicap parking spot, and the sidewalk leading up to the front door is very uneven. My friend has mobility issues and it was difficult for her to get to the front door. The sidewalk needs work. It s very narrow and lots of cracks and broken bits. I don t recommend it if you are wheelchair-bound or walk with a cane Vegetarian options: Not much for plant based dining.

Came in tonight and my boyfriend got food poisoning There was a grey meatball in his Italian wedding soup. When we called to let the restaurant know and nobody was apologetic or concerned about this issue. Beyond disappointing to say the least

Not sure what happened to this place but it has seriously gone down hill. Waiter bringing one thing at a time, forgetting to bring things constantly, but dancing with his female coworkers in the back area while we waited 10 minutes for take out boxes. He also put the steaming hot plate of pasta directly in front of my 2 year old and I had to move it quickly before my daughter burnt herself. Then when she dropped her bowl of ice cream and the glass broke they didnt even bother cleaning it up or offering her a replacement. Then after we told him we were ready waited 10 minutes to make payment - wasnt even busy maybe 4 tables of people. Definitely wont be coming back.

Food was fantastic, waitress was better. Super friendly and excellent with kids. Always came to the table with a big smile. Highly recommend . Even the hostesses were very friendly and pleasant. As a whole, the place was very welcoming and warm. Kid-friendliness: Staff is very good with kids.

Absolutely love coming here for food. It s definitely my favourite family friendly restaurant in St. Albert. The service is always amazing and the owners and family are so kind and are always around making the experience very personable. The staff is also always so friendly. We ve never had to wait long to be seated, even when it s a full house. The food is awesome and we always leave stuffed to the max, usually with leftovers too, which is quite impressive with the way my partner can eat lol. I can honestly say I ve never had a disappointing experience here

Although it was Mothers Day and the restaurant was very busy, our server Kyla D was efficient, friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was fresh and hot they were big servings. I would definitely recommend this location! Parking: There appears to be only one handicapped stall so we were unable to get one but I was able to be dropped off close to the door.

Food was ok. Disappointed to see menu items discontinued. Our server was quite good. Atmosphere is a bit loud for comfortable dining, but accommodating to young families. Will probably return when dining with our grandchildren.

Updated to add: I reached out as requested by the business owner. The customer service folks said someone from the store would reach out. They did not. So, if you (the customer) get a message to write in to customer service, don t waste your time as nobody actually bothers to reach out at all! I haven t been to an ESM since living in Ontario 6 years ago. It isn t as good as I remember and was a definite letdown. Prices are pretty good but the food is just sort of meh. The tomato soup was basically Campbells. Salad was bland. Bread was meh. Won t go back, sad days.

Came here for to celebrate my late father s birthday as he used to work at another location before he passed. Our server didn t smile wasn t attentive at all our drinks were empty for over half of the service, just overall seemed like she was having a bad day and didn t want to be working, definitely not the east side that i remember coming to as a kid. The food was good and came out timely for the size of our group and for how busy it was so that was a plus, server training could use a refresher though.

Their food is phenomenal theyre specials are on I think two three times a week Im not complaining I recommend to this any family friends or anybody else there if you are traveling stopping and giggling for yourself its really awesome I recommend this to everyone even for kids. Waited almost 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge us, all the staff saw us waiting at the door because I saw all of them look at me, someone finally came over to seat us and when I said we were just about to leave I got an attitude from the hostess. The food was excellent though and our waitress was an absolute professional and super friendly...

Was surprising busy on a Friday at 5 pm, but only had to wait maybe 5 minutes for a table in the dining room. My server, Leah, was attentive and incredibly sweet, even though she had a full section. I didn t need to wait long at all for my drink, bread, salad, or meal. Steak was cooked perfectly. My only issue was that the meal came on a dish that was damaged on the corner, and I ended up taking a small chunk of my thumb out. Leah informed the manager, and he quickly brought me some bandaids and helped me with them. He was so sweet about it, and it wasn t even that bad. It barely bled, it just stung a bit. I didn t make a fuss at all, as it just something kinda random that happens sometimes and was no one s fault, really. Maybe shouldn t be serving on damaged dishes, but again, not a huge deal, and more than likely just an oversight, not a common thing. They took care of my meal without even a suggestion or request for a discount on my part. I had full intention on paying full price. I felt bad because I didn t have any paper money to tip, so I handed poor Leah a handful of coins as it s all I had. I am so impressed with my entire experience, and I will absolutely return. It was my first time there, and I m rarely so impressed by a visit to a family style restaurant. I wish I got the managers name so I could thank him by name.. so if you re reading this.. thank you so much for your kindness and professionalism. And Leah.. you re an incredible server, you clearly love your job. Thank you for being such a peanut! I will absolutely request your section whenever I come back, you were such a joy!

You can tell a family runs this place. The food is always good, and if you dont mind waiting, go on a Tuesday when kids eat for $2.

First bowl of soup was cold, after they made a new batch of italian weddi g soup n was few noodles but hotter.

Had a lot of fun at east side. Service was very attentive and friendly. Very good value with all you can eat salad, soup, and garlic bread. Vegetarian options: Salads, soups, pasta dishes.

Its been a while since weve been to the St. Albert East Side Marios location, so we stopped in on Thursday for an early dinner. The restaurant wasnt overly busy at the time, but it got quite busy during our meal. We were pleasantly surprised by the Thursday Amore for Two special which includes a Budda Bombs appetizer, the All-You-Can-Eat Soup/Salad and breadloaf, a choice of two entrees, and finished off with a dessert to share. All of this was $50 which is a great deal in my opinion. I chose Marios Chicken Parmigiana which was huge a huge portion that allowed for a second meal of leftovers the next day, while my wife chose the Cheese Cappelletti which she also took some home. Our kids enjoyed their kids meals as well. The Budda Bombs appetizer was delicious and a huge hit for the whole family, as was the dessert which we all shared even though the kids got their own desserts with their kids meals. Well definitely return again sometime soon!

This is the best pasta restaurant in St.Albert. Fantastic staff, the food is always hot, and quickly served. The wait staff are always nice, and quick. And the managers always check in with their guests, ensuring they are getting good and hot food, and that the service is fabulous. Eat Here, so worth it.

Good meal for the price, you wont leave hungry

My daughter and I go for lunch at east side St. Albert when ever we get a chance. The restaurant is family owned and always make us feel welcome. The staff is incredible. I am diabetic and have a bit of a hard time meeting my dietary needs at most restaurants but here they go the extra mile to make sure to help me get an order I can eat. They even make some minor substitutions for me. I am not much of a review writer but I honestly feel the owners and entire staff deserve a huge shout out. Keep up the good work guys.

Great food and excellent service

The other night we had East Side Mario s because I really missed it and where we live the closest location is 9 hours away. My husband and I were both VERY disappointed that we didn t get told until after we had ordered our food and had gotten our salads that there was no bread, that the restaurant was out of bread. I had a pasta dish and would have liked the bread. Not only that, but there was no discount or alternative offered. Furthermore, my husband s garlic fries served with his steak were not garlicky at all and undercooked. Could not have been any more disappointed in this place. Man have they gone downhill.

***This is a review from getting delivery from ordering off the main website.*** The main food itself was good, but the delivery and accuracy was not. The delivery driver delivered to the wrong house (ordered through east side website, not skip the dishes). Ordered and paid for extra parm cheese, didnt receive any. Normally I would just say its a mistake and brush it off, but this has happened the last 2-3 times. When I did finally find the house the food was delivered to, it appeared that something was leaking. The two breads inside had fallen out of their foil and were resting on the side of the bag, making it seem like something spilled. Will absolutely still eat here as the food is good, but probably stick to dining in.

I loved everything about this cuisine. The food was fantastic, along with everything else. The bread stick were also sensational! Keep up the good work East Side Marios.

The bread and salad to die for. Also the chicken tarazzini was delicious it had tomatoes baby mushrooms chicken I add shrimp with fettuccine noodles and Alfredo sauce. Parking: Lots of parking provided never had any problems parking. Kid-friendliness: Always a great place to bring your kids gotta love the mini ice cream cones for the kis so yummy.

First time at East Side Marios, very much enjoyed the staff are all so nice, the food was delicious the atmosphere very pleasant. We sat in the lounge. We will definitely be back.

I enjoyed the food and service was great but while sitting g there I looked up and saw how disgustingly dirt the lights were. Dust was actually hanging off them, right over our table of food. I couldn t even finish my supper. I looked around then and noticed all the light fixtures were filthy! Next time I come there I will see if they have been cleaned before I sit there with my plate of food. Very disappointed!

East Side Marios in St. Albert has consistently been our familys top choice. Its a place where both kids and adults can enjoy a wonderful dining experience. The all you can eat bread soup, and salad, is a hit with our children. The food quality has never disappointed us; its always excellent. Moreover, the service is consistently great. We can confidently say that East Side Marios in St. Albert is our go-to restaurant for a fantastic family meal.

I regularly drop into the lounge to watch a ball game or hockey game. The wings are the biggest and best in the Edmonton area. The Wedding Soup and fresh bread are to die for. A+++

Eddy and I had a lunch date and Puppy was having spa day.. We have always had good service but meggan was amazing! Attentive so friendly and a great sense of humor. When u love a place and service is so rewarding! Thank you meggan for making our date wonderful Food

My wife & I are very picky eaters, I had mentioned to her that its been quite sometime since weve been to Eastside Marios, unfortunate that theres only one left in the Edmonton area,I didnt feel like driving into St Albert, but after the Incredible Service and the Food we had eaten was Impeccable, I had mentioned to the Owner that I take my Hat off to Such Magnitude of Respect for the Clients and the Staff, a person couldnt say anything more about the friendly and courtesy service. Thanks to All, it was a pleasure visiting and finally having a great experience in a restaurant again. We will surely be back.

Sorry to say but East Dide Marios in St Albert needs a lot of TLC when it comes to cleanliness. Pictures hug on the walls have food prints all over them. Drapes that are hung by the booths are so tattered with food and grease (disgusting). Wooden blinds on the windows have dust and grime on them...ucky!!. The nick nacks on the shelves are dusty, not to mention the shelves themselves need dusting. Poor ownership and management. Never would I ever eat there again.

The tilapia had NO flavour my plate was piled high with potatoes so I had to hunt for the fish which was disappointing I hardly ate anything the bread was good tho and the service but the food? Not!

Haven t been here in a while. Food was okay. Service was outstanding. Our server was Liam. Very professional and courteous server. Will return.

I feel like restaurants are skimping on quantity and quality but still raising prices. Hubby got Hells Kitchen Chicken and there was more sides on the plate then chicken. I had steak and garlic parm fries. Steal was cooked right...however there was no flavor. I had to ask for HP Sauce. And the fries were chewy. The ceaser salad lacked dressing and only had like four croutons in one big bowl. Staff were nice. Waitress was running the bar and tables so she was busy. But for $57, it was not worth that price.

This is the second in a month eating at east side Mario s when ordered non alcoholic beverages and the staff had not refilled the fridge for these beverages. The food and service is great but the lack of stocking is a concern.

I really enjoyed the food and the service here. I went on a Saturday before the evening rush, and it was fast to get a seat and be served. They brought us refills of salad, bread, and water frequently. There were quite a few people waiting for tables when we left. It seems to get very busy on weekend evenings.

I absolutely love this place.

We went here for my birthday last week. I got the pan roasted tilapia with veggies and Mario s Potatoes, coming in at $23.99. I had no idea Mario s potatoes were just plain potato wedges with no seasoning, so this meal seems a little overpriced to begin with. The worst part though was that the wedges were brutally overdone and tasted overwhelmingly of burnt oil. My husband and 3 year old tried them and agreed they were awful. I asked for some hot sauce to dip them in, as this is a commonly used condiment in every restaurant I ve ever been to, only to find that I had been charged extra for it on our bill. I told our server about the potatoes and he told me he d pass that along to the kitchen for the future. What he should have done is offer to get a new side of potatoes. Potatoes are dirt cheap! What a waste of money for a piece of fish and burnt potato wedges on my birthday.

I went a date here for the night and we had the most wonderful server it absolutely made our night with how she treated us and her positive attitude I hope to see her again whenever we plan to come at this restaurant her name was Leah she deserves a raise!!

Our order was messed up. Called the restaurant and they made it right. Even personally drove our order to us at home!

Extremely busy and waited over hour for food. Had to ask for cutlery and napkins. One of our guests was served meal on so small a plate, you couldnt cut into it without spilling in rable. Only pleasant part was a very nice waitress.

To say the least I m never going to be coming back here ever again. The steak was burned on the outside and raw on the inside, after I asked for it to be remade it tasted like it was frozen and made in a microwave. The bread, fries and soup were amazing but the steak was unacceptable and I feel like I got ripped off. Other than the food the service wasn t great even though it wasn t even busy at the time.

Just moved to St Albert area and this is our go to spot. Always tastes great! Always completely full when we leave. Our waitress Meggan has been great each time we have had the pleasure of her taking care of us. Very knowledgeable and attentive. You have gained a loyal customer

Amazing restaurant and employees

Prompt service. You must try the lasagna. Its awesome. Every table starts with homemade hot bread and butter . Also the prices are very good . Two thumbs up

My waitress didnt know what an anchovy was, and the Tobasco sauce tasted... Like it was chemically reacting in my mouth. It was the strangest and least pleasant experience Ive had in quite a while. The pizza was okay, though?

Something wrong the food. My son fell sick/stomach flu after dining here.

I regret to say that our recent experience at East Side Marios left much to be desired, earning it a two-star rating. The notable decline in both service and food quality was disheartening, particularly with a once excellent dish like the calamari al diavolo now falling short of expectations. Our dissatisfaction began with a 15-minute wait before anyone acknowledged our presence at the table. The sluggish service persisted as it took an additional 15 minutes for our drinks to arrive. The frustration peaked when we ordered a salad and some shareables, which took an inexplicable 25 minutes, even for a simple salad. Adding to our concerns was a serious safety issue in the bathroom. While my wife was changing our son, the change table suddenly started collapsing, forcing her to prop it up with her leg. This poses a significant safety risk and reflects poorly on the establishments maintenance standards. Considering these experiences, its doubtful that we will be returning to this location anytime soon. It appears that some much-needed attention to the upkeep of the dining room and a resolution to the food quality issues are imperative for the restaurant to regain its former appeal. We hope these concerns are addressed promptly for the benefit of future patrons.

Every time we go we have a great experience. The food is awesome and it is priced well.
