Streats St. Albert Kitchen in St. Albert

I ordered through Uber eats. On pickup I realized I had time to eat in the restaurant so I asked if it was ok. The guy said yes. As I was eating, I asked another guy for a napkin and fork and he got really upset and said I m not allowed to eat in the store. This is not normal as I have ordered through uber eats before at other restaurants and asked to eat in without any issues. Won t be coming back here again! Food sucks anyway.

We wanted something kid friendly and Mexican and we were very satisfied. I found it was a decent size serving of the bowls and the staff was super kind.

I cannot believe I haven t tried this restaurant until now! I first discovered it last week as I was trying to find something different to eat for lunch that wasn t Wendy s or McDonald s. I decided to give Streats a try and I m so glad I did! The male worker at the front was so helpful and just overall great to deal with. I was a little flustered trying to figure out what to get and he helped me decide on the 3 soft taco deal! He was so nice and patient with me while I decided. I went back this weekend for a second time and he threw in 2 fresh cookies for me. That really made my week. I highly suggest giving Streats a try- you won t be disappointed

First time visiting this location. Ordered the gochujang chicken bowl, and it was packed to the brim with a great mix of ingredients. The staff are welcoming and checked in with us a couple of times - very happy with the service. Ill definitely return.

Im a regular at the one in Edmonton but was with my boyfriend here. They definitely make the tacos differently and the quality wasnt as good. The mangos for the mango salsa were cut so big and it was barley a salsa. Everything was slathered in sauce, couldnt eat with my hands and it just tasted very different...was disappointed to say the least

Just a convenient short walk from our hotel was this great dinner experience at Streats. Fresh tacos and quick table service in a relaxed atmosphere. Bumping tunes too.

Streats catered a party for us and the food was AMAZING! We ordered online 2 weeks in advance, popped into the store a few days before the party to confirm everything was good to go, and pick up was ready on time. Not only were the staff incredibly friendly and helpful, they made sure we had all of the garnishes/condiments needed and packed the food so it stayed neat and in tact in transport. So many people raved about the food and plan to visit the St Albert location themselves. 5/5 Fyi, the food was perfect for summer party turned wedding

Expensive for what you get, they stuff items with way too much rice to make it seems like you get a lot, and the chicken burgers are small with 2 little chicken strips in them. Friendly staff though

I dont usually review these, but the food was so terrible and the price so high for what we got I had to. We thought the menu looked good so we decided to check it out. I had a jerk chicken bowl and the taste of vinegar was so strong I couldnt even finish half of it, didnt even taste like jerk chicken. My husband had the smashed burger and the patty was very tiny and his fries were stale. We most definitely wont be coming back, I would have rated it lower if I could.

My experience here was very poor. My wife and I went to this location to have a quick bite, and it was a mistake. The menu is pretty typical of street fusion food, but if done well those dishes can be great. This was a situation where it was not done well. I had the Smash burger, I have had them before and they can be quite tasty, this one was bland at best. The size of the burger was very small, as I have had sliders that were comparable to the patties on this sandwich, there was less meat on the two combined patties as there would be in a single Whopper from burger king. The bun was supposed to be a brioche, but it felt flat as it lacked the buttery flavor of a good brioche dough, and they topped it with a tiny piece of cheese and a house sauce that was akin to a house salad dressing. My wife had the Jerk Chicken Bowl, which was drastically under seasoned as she could not taste anything other than vinegar, which is not even a flavor found in such a dish. I even tried some of the rice and the flavor was over powering. She could not finish the dish, in fact eating only about 1/4-1/3 of the dish (more on that later) as she was beginning to feel ill as well. We also decided to share the Garlic Aoli and Shrimp poutine as a shared side dish, of which I ate mostly as my burger was far to small to be considered to be a portion. The fries were over cooked, but not just over cooked, there was something else wrong with them as well. From my days working in the kitchen it felt like they were cooked and then set under a heat lamp in a dry area for hours. They were dry and brittle and they had a hollow feel to them, with patches that were dark and others that were golden brown. My wife only pecked at a few as she was still not feeling well from what she had eaten already, so I ate what I could. I had begun to feel ill now myself and did not finish the poutine either. We left very very disappointed, and with both of our stomachs feeling very upset by the food, I went back to let them know that we were unhappy. After telling the gentleman the first issue (the excessive vinegar in the Jerk bowl) he interrupted and said they could get us something else for her. With the state of our stomachs as mine had now turned with the excessive grease and oil from the fries, neither of us had any intent to order anything else. The price of this meal was over 50.00. For a Burger with two patties that made up something akin to a double slider with acceptable flavor, A poutine with fries so stale and greasy that they managed to upset my stomach which is usually difficult to manage. And lastly a Jerk chicken bowl that was saturated in vinegar (a flavor not even in the dish) that it made my wife feel ill. I never plan on going back there, and I will make sure that I let people know to avoid this location.

I had a wonderful lunch experience with my girlfriend yesterday. The gentleman at the counter was extremely friendly and our server provided great service. While our food took around 17 minutes to arrive, we didnt mind the wait. And it was well worth it - the food was delicious and the presentation was impressive. Thanks for a great meal, Ill definitely be back!

I ve ordered a couple of times on door dash when I forgot my lunch. The prices are good, I got my food in about 20 minutes after I ordered and it was delicious! I had the pork burrito and their poutine but honestly the burrito was filling enough!

We tried this for the first time, and overall it was really delicious. To Savour: - piri-piri burrito - shrimp taco - chicken and waffles poutine To Skip: - regular poutine - beef taco (while it had great potential, the beef was VERY dry) Will try it again for sure!

I normally never write reviews but figured this one needed one...hopefully it helps to push them on the right track...I deleted my preview msg because it might of been to harsh...could just be tonight but the food was awful...I barely ate today and even being so hungry as I was... myself and my family dumped it in the trash...not sure if its poor quality food or just way over cooked etc ..but I hope its just today... I ve been to StrEATS a couple of times and this was my first time here at the St. Albert location and they made the food very fast! Super efficient service tonight and the Lemongrass chicken bowl was very yummy. Will definitely have to come back next time we re in St Albert!!

Uber Eats Delivery: April 2023 I had ordered the Pork Tacos and Buffalo Chicken Poutine. The Pork Tacos were fine, they were a decent size and had a good amount of pork. But the Buffalo Chicken Poutine was not good at all in my opinion. It was incredibly salty, I feel like they used way too much Franks Red Hot Sauce in it. It had so much that after a couple of bites, I couldnt handle the amount of sodium and vinegar and wasnt able to continue eating it. The chicken and fries were soaked in the sauce. We also did not receive any blue cheese sauce that we ordered either Would give the poutine 1 stars and the pork tacos 3 stars

The lady that served us was very friendly. First time here. Tacos were DELISH! Never heard of this place before. Was a spur of the moment drop in. We ordered 3 tacos for $12. Shrimp Mango taco -> DELISH! Chicken Buffalo taco -> Also DELISH! Baja Fish taco -> Good. Liked the others better.

I ordered only the buffalo chicken poutine, and asked for blue cheese. When i opened it up it was absolutely drenched in a ridiculous amount of ranch with no blue cheese sauce anywhere, and with way too much franks. its like Franks Red hot soup i cant even taste the cheese. Almost forgot to add that there were 2 small nugget sized pieces of chicken in the entire bowl. Theres plenty of better restaurants in the area to go to.

Asked for a vegan burrito and was given meat. Was then blamed by the staff when bringing it to their attention, saying we asked for chicken. They serve vegan chicken, also who would order a vegan burrito with real meat? They also wrote on the wrapper vegan . Haven t eaten meat in 20 years and they blamed me for the mistake. Unreal.

Our favourite taco joint in St. Albert! Weve heard they get soggy if you do via take out, but eating in is to die for. Just two or three will fill you up. $4 beer and tacos on Thursdays? Dont mind if I do.

Disappointing. The portions are too small for the prices. The quality of tacos and fries was subpar. Theres waaaaaay better taco places not too far from this venue, at a much better price. The atmosphere is okay. The graffiti art is appealing. However, a lot of decorations on the opposite wall are put up with dollar store tacks; if were paying $6 for a single taco, yall can afford better installation hardware. Will not be coming back.

We ordered for the first time. We our taco lovers and streats delivered on every level. The food was delicious portions were a great size pricing was decent. We are definitely ordering again and will be stopping by the actual restaurant since we our st Albertans. We have our new taco spot.

Decieded to try out this place. I got their Donair. Definitely had its own twist on it. It was pretty good. Only thing i would say is that the portion was very small. The whole donair was smaller than any regular size donair i have had, let alone any jumbo. Not sure i would come for their donair again, but i might try something else on the menu. Its was overall alright.

What a joke. On here closing time says 8:30pm. The sign on the door say 9 and I walked in at 8:20 and they told me they closed. Figure it out

Had lunch here today. Fish and chips, 2 tacos (mango shrimp and pulled beef) combo with poutine. Fish was super crispy, fresh and batter was thin. Loved the shrimp taco although the pulled beef was a bit dry. Great portions and we also got an ice cream sandwich which was delicious. Staff was super friendly and even came to check on our food. Will definitely be back.

Want to give these guys 5 stars, the food is good, it s a nice small establishment. Tried them a few times. However the staff have been nothing but horrible. Don t seem to know what s going on, witnessed a young manager giving a new associate poor training, and they like the close early and turn away customers, despite hours saying till 9, the open sign on, doors unlocked. Just don t want to do their jobs I guess.

Weve been here to eat a couple of times and very much enjoyed the food. Today, not so much. We arrived at the restaurant at about noon and were the only guests in the place. We ordered their 2 piece fish and chips to share. We asked for crispy fries but when they came to the table, they were very limp. We also had to ask for ketchup, vinegar, salt etc. Whereas the last times all of that came to the table with the meal. Also, the music was rap and very loud. My wife asked the girl at the counter if she could switch the music to something else. The girl agreed, but as soon as the music started again, IT WAS RAP AGAIN!!! My wife and I are not young people and do not enjoy that genre of music. At this, my wife decided to speak to the girl again about the food, music and ask for the owner or manager. The girl stood there with a stunned look on her face, like she didnt understand the complaint. At this we decided to leave. I personally spoke with the girl and told her that they need to pay more attention to the guests needs and concerns. After this stressful experience we will likely never be back to streeteats.

The food here is AMAZING. Always hot & fresh tasting. The only place in town with a good poutine, the chicken & waffle poutine is deliciously addictive . It s my personal favorite :) Prices are reasonable & the customer service is always great. Definitely recommend! 5/5
