You need to watch what they charge you for the daily deal. Twice now theyve tried to charge the regular price and not the daily $9.59 deal.

**edited Jan 2024: sadly has gotten worse. Showed up tonight at 820 pm and it was closed even though the hours say open until 10 pm** Great service. Really good subs with lots of variety. Everything looked fresh. Would definitely come back again. Doesnt hurt that its next to Starbucks :)

Second edit to this review, ordered again today via skip Aug 24 2023. Not sure what is happening in your store. The quality has been so bad both times. I tried calling on the 22nd as well and no one answers the phone. The ham sub was put together so sloppily and the steak sub had alot of dried pieces of steak presumably because its older / has been exposed to air. I even wrote on the instructions for both subs to not make them poorly as I ordered 2 days ago and the quality was really bad. I was a regular customer for 10 years and now after 2 bad orders I had to change my review from a 5 star, down to a 3 and now to a 1. This was my fave go to sub shop and I even told people to go to the one in village landing if they wanted great subs but I wont be doing that anymore. Very disappointed Had to edit this review a little bit. Today I ordered via skip Aug 22 2023 and there was hardly any chicken on my sub, most bites was just pure bread. And my sub was made upside down on both subs. I had asked for the cheese on top of the meat, I didnt request the veggies on top of the cheese. So they made the sandwiches in reverse, there was also sauce on the bottom of the bread for both subs and I asked for it to be put on top of the meat. Pretty bummed out because Im a regular customer for you guys and today it was pretty sub par :( --------- Im hoping Dave and his wife still own this place. Been getting subs from here for almost 10 years now and its still the BEST. Quality is never bad. Subs are never bad and it just seems like they keep doing things proper.

Ive never had an issue here. The girls are great, good amount of toppings, fresh soft bread, and never a snarky remark or any attitude like the other one by costco. Choose this one, trust me.

Mr SUB used to my go to place many years ago. Was looking forward to having one again as I have moved back to a location where there is near by , and I did. What a disappointment!! Less meat and cheese, vegie add ons. Watched one of employees, thinking it could of been one of the owners filling up a sauce container. She rubbed off the bottle with her finger as the sauce had dripped off the side of the bottle, the n liked her finger. Will never again go to a MR SUB

Absolutely awful location. All I ordered was a pizza sub with bacon and the woman had to remake it 3 times. Everything from mayo instead of pizza sauce to missing cheese !? Not even an apology afterwards. This is why I go to subway

This is a great location, Ive never met better owners of a fast-food place like this before! I live nearby and they have been fueling me and my career for a long time, the food isnt 10/10 (no fast-food is), but its the most friendly and caring fast food location in St. Albert!

This location is the best in St. Albert. Just charged extra meat when you dont want cheese, another location charges for cheese and meat even if no cheese! Best location.

I had a special request for my sub as I have some health issues that make eating difficult. The lady who prepared my sub made it exactly as I had requested, which is wonderful! She also weighed out the meat to ensure I received the proper amount. Great job! Id absolutely return to this location.

My kids earned a free small sub from their school. We ordered and our coupon was refused. The employee contacted the owner and he said the previous owner had distributed the coupons and they were no longer accepted. No expiry date, no notice in the store. So they threw the subs in the garbage instead of giving them to my kids. My kids really feel appreciated so thank you. We will never visit this location again, I will notify the parent community to let them know not to disappoint their kids by taking them for their free sub.

My sub was not toasted as shown in picture. Lady was not happy we were there. Told they dont carry steak sauce even though its on the list. And that they just use BBQ. Something to tell people befor they order a roast beef. No soup. Would not go back to this location. Food

I used to frequent this location often. The old owners were very generous with the toppings. I last visited here yesterday and bought 4 large veggie subs. The owner was not there and an employee I hadn t seen before took my order. Each sub is approx. $10 so you would expect them to put a decent amount of veggies. I even asked her when I ordered over the phone to be generous, as it s just veggies I m getting (and the visit before had very little veggies). She confirmed. I tipped 15% and paid nearly $47 for these 4 subs. When I picked up my order the subs were already made and in bags, so I assumed they were to my liking. I got home and my whole family was disappointed with the lack of veggies. I honestly could have went out and grabbed the ingredients myself for much cheaper and made wayyy better subs. Keep in mind I visited this location quite often under previous ownership. There is a reason I have not gone back in a while and will not be returning after yesterday.

The food is very sub-par badumm tiss But, in all seriousness the prices are a bit more then subway and really no different. The reason I gave it a 3 star is the bread was definetely alot better then subway. The ingredients were ok the tuna was dry. Not exactly sure why the reviews were so good.

The owner JR was great!!! We thought it was open until 11pm as per google & called ahead just after 10pm and found out they close at 10pm, he took our order over the phone and stayed until we arrived even though he had already worked all day! Exceeded Expectations! Will go again or sure!!!

I go there most days of the week. It s the best Sub in St. Albert. The manager is very nice and really good at his job. The bread is always fresh and perfectly baked and the service is always prompt and friendly. The staff is always happy to recommend something if you fancy a change. Would have put zero stars if it would let me. I have been there a few times was good. But today the lady made me a steak and cheese full size with barely enough meat to cover the bottom of the sandwich. Not impressed and very poor service as well. I manage a fast food and would be not impressed with the workers there today. No smile and barely spoke.

The subs are top notch. The buns are always fresh and they are very generous with their toppings. The owner is a super nice guy. I use Skip the Dishes sometimes and the sub is superb every time it arrives.

Mr Sub is a great place to sit and eat in or take out. Food is fresh and great tasting. They bake the buns fresh daily. Staff take pride in assembling your sub to order. Very clean restaurant. The staff and the owners are super friendly, regular customers are greeted by their first name. Always smiling, make you feel important!

I can agree with the previous poster, the rib sub is good but I didnt find the sub to be made with much attention to detail. Meat was all pushed to one side and vegetables all pushed to the other so no bites had both meat and vegis, it was either or. Customer service was lacking but over all it wasnt bad experience. I find it weird how they keep all their bread on the counter not covered as well. Seems unsanitary!
